We used Sara for the first time and it was an amazing experience. She and her team made everything so easy with great communication and detailed instructions leading up to our shoot. The day of our shoot they were hilarious making our 10 year old smile real genuine smiles that came out so good in the photos. She had an fast turn around for getting the photo options back to us and there are so many options for prints. If you are looking for family photos where you can sit back and let a pro do the hard work I highly recommend Sara.

I cannot recommend Sara enough!!! We booked a newborn photo session with her and the entire experience has been such a pleasure. When booking the session I wasn't sure what props, colors or backdrops to choose. I had no clue what to wear myself, especially after just delivering a baby. The support I received from Brenda was amazing! From the moment I inquired to the evening before the session she was in contact with me and helping me find the perfect fit. As a person who loves photography but doesn't understand how it works, having someone guide me through the process was an incredible part of the experience. Working with Brenda took so much stress off of me. My biggest worry was, what do I wear? Will it look good in photos? After talking about what esthetic I was looking for she gave some general ideas. After I had my baby and reached out to let them know, she checked in to see how I was feeling outfit wise as that was my biggest concern. I was able to send pictures of my ideas and she made recommendations from that. At the newborn session Sara quickly put me, my husband and our newborn at ease and got right to work! Sara truly has a gift with babies, she worked so beautifully with my little one. She put my baby's comfort first and made sure that for all the poses that it was something that he was comfortable with as well as being a beautiful photograph. Having seen the sneak peek photos I cannot wait to see the entire album! I cannot recommend Sara enough! The entire process was so different than any other photography experience I've had. I am so glad that we had Sara take our newborn photos!

I was put on a waiting list for a particular session that I wanted and was completely by-passed when new session time slots became available. Not sure why I was told to go on a waiting list when new sessions were offered to the public first. I asked someone from the business to call me but nobody ever did. Very bad business practice. I have taken Sara's "Learn to use your DSLR" class and really liked her personality and style so she seemed like the perfect person to do them. For us, one of the most critical parts is that she has assistants with her at every shoot who work hard along with Sara to make my kids smile with various toys and jokes...real smiles, not awkward smiles! Prior to Sara, we had shoots with other photographers with no usable shots because the kids looked uncomfortable and not like themselves. Shoots are usually short which is good for the kids, and they are very organized knowing ahead of time what types of pictures you want. I have been fascinated by photography for years and years but was too intimidated by all the buttons on my 'real' camera so I stuck with point and shoot.....until I took one of Sara's classes. I am so thrilled with my own progress thanks to her depth of knowledge, patience, sense of humour and ability to get technical information across while keeping a creative edge. It was a great experience and I have signed up for more Sara McConnell workshops. Highly recommend!

5 Stars All The Way! We had our newborn photo session this morning and I could not be more pleased with the experience. First of all Sara was easy to work with when it came to booking the session and communicating what makes for great pictures. She gave us advise on how to prep and that we should keep our newborn daughter awake for 2 hours prior. As much fun as that part was this morning ,the results were totally worth it! We were greeted at the studio by Brenda who was very nice and was a great assistant to Sara throughout the whole process. Sara has a wonderful personality that is easygoing and professional. I felt very comfortable handing my daughter over to Sara to set up the shots. My wife and I thought she was very professional and fun. Overall we had a very positive experience.
