If you can get your graduation photos done elsewhere, I strongly recommend that you do. I go to uOttawa, and it's the same company. First of all, the people working there have horrible customer service and are incredibly rude. Second of all, they are over-priced as hell. I paid over $100 for a single picture. No digital files, nothing. A single picture cost me $100. On top of that, it takes 4-6 weeks to print off said $100 single picture. I am glad that I am graduating so I never have to take a picture here again.

Very unprofessional and awful customer service. Firstly, they do not have the exact graduation ceremony dress for PhD students, its a different color. Second, they delivered the final picture with my mother hand cropped from the photo (It was not like this in the proof photos, when I was odering) ! when I asked them to fix it, initially they asked for money for fix their mistake and latter they told that they manager will call and he/she never called. I called to ask them to let me talk to manager, they did not answer the phone and letting the answering machine take the call...while I was at Carleton unicenter and I could see they are just sitting at their desk and do nothing. I do not recommend doing your graduation photos at this location, go to kijji and find a photograpger who comes to your ceremony and they will do the same thing for much cheaper price and of course better service.

Wonderful!! We are so so pleased with every aspect of Portraits Now. They photographed our sons competitive hockey team with their new Sports Style and it's phenomenal! The photographer was very organized and wonderful with the boys. I've sent many emails back and forth with Berni and the staff and I have nothing but amazing things to say. Always promt, professional and very accommodating... especially when I requested something that wasn't a regular item for them, they went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for to make sure I got what I wanted and I'm grateful. I highly recommended Portraits Now, especially for sports teams - you won't be disappointed!

She was very knowledgeable about photography, upbeat and sweet. She always assists everyone who comes in even if it is not photography related questions.

The staff were very pleasant and were quick to let their clients know when difficulties arose (the doors of all the university buildings were locked, even if they were not supposed to be). I very much enjoyed my experience and the photographer was excellent!

I’ve had pictures taken here for several graduations over the last 10 years. They’re really experienced with graduation photos and typically upload pictures online for ordering shortly after they’re taken. I’ve found that they have moved my hair in a way that didn’t look flattering (imo and with how I usually like my hair to be placed) and I only realized how awful it looked when I saw the pictures online. Luckily I have a few shots that aren’t too bad. I also don’t like several backgrounds they choose for photos and how you cannot edit the background after the photo is taken, yet you have no idea what background is chosen when pictures are taken. I wish we could preselect background colours and/or same pose taken with a few backgrounds and/or have the ability to switch it after the picture is taken. Some poses are awesome but with an ugly background ruining the overall appeal of the photo. Finally, this is the only business of its kind that I’ve visited but prices are higher than I expected for photo packages.
