Rider Lee wanted to have my young children wait outside alone due to covid. He was unreasonable and wouldn't wear his mask correctly. He kept it below his nose and claimed they needed to wait outside due to his health but wouldn't wear his own mask properly. There was one other worker in the store and so I asked if the worker could step outside so that we could not exceed any capacity restrictions he wouldn't and would not answer how many people were allowed in the store. I've had good experiences here before but not this time.

My parents were coming to visit this summer and my friend recommended me this place for the family photo shoot. We scheduled the appointment 2 weeks in advanced and came over to plan the photo session. We decided to take pictures outdoors in Aurora area and photographers were glad to help with it. Quite and friendly little studio. Perfect for our little 1 year old. We did not expect anything too fancy, just simple and fuss free and they delivered. It helps tp bring in your own props if you want something specific. The photographer was flexible and patient with us which was great.

Before today, I thought getting business headshots was going to be as enjoyable as a root canal. Past experiences with other photographers had only provided me with expensive, unflattering photos. My experience at Picture It Studios was very different! In a setting that has proven to make me very uncomfortable, they took the time to get to know me and make me comfortable and it absolutely shows in the photos. They turned out great and I had them the same day! They were very reasonably priced and I ended up getting a passport photo as well while I was there. I'm very impressed and will be referring all my friends and family to Picture It Studios.

Worst Service! These people do not treat their customers right. They don't care to improve or hear any type of feedback. On top of that we only got a few good pictures. Do not waste your money.

The owner is a very honorable person. He made good on my son's Linked in photo. The employee that did the original shoot did not do a good job and did not follow up. When the owner found out, he went out of his way to make it right with a make up shoot and we are very pleased. Five stars.

WORSE PLACE FOR SENIOR PICTURES! Honestly I don't know if I would even put one star for these people! The owner GRIDER LEE truly made my son's senior pictures look HORRIBLE! Please any Parents out there don't do it here for SENIOR PICTURES! I had a Grandview Senior and a CSU Senior together to do pictures. First of all he told me that we could meet at the location which was in Lowery, he wouldn't charge for the trip there. Now during the photo shoot I indicated when we were over an hour if we were done. He was like no we are fine and continued for another half hour. Now it even gets better I go the next day to pick the pictures, he proceeds to tell me I can't select any packages below 499.00 because we were over an hour on the photo shoot. Basically, he made me order a package higher or he said he would charge me for a trip charge. It doesn't stop there the icing on the cake he tells me he will do some minor edits and after that he will order the pictures since I had picked out the package. He didn't send me the edit venison either. WOW, when I saw what he ordered I was so disappointed and dumbfounded that whoever did the EDIT JOB had no clue how to edit pictures. The canvas I ordered was 11x14, they had smoothed my son's face out on one side, I was horrified looking at it. I send emails and emails finally got an apt that week to bring them back in, the owner Grider Lee tired to tell me in the emails he didn't edit them at all like that???? He tried to blame it on the print job??? I was so upset when I arrived showed him the job and he still try to not see what the issue was. Long story short he had to re-touch them up and I am still not happy so now I have to contact the BBB he wont give me my money back for my pictures purchased which I no longer have. HE TOLD ME TO CONTACT THE BBB BY THE WAY, he won't work with me about my money back! I can't even use the pictures he gave me they were all bad, the edit job was horrible. This is the worse experience I have ever had in my life with a photographer and all he cares about is the MONEY! Please don't go here worst place, he won't discount you, he will only try and correct it but the damage was done! DO NOT GO HERE HE DOESN'T CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! Just to let everyone see how bad it was.. my son looks like he is wearing make up and the other picture his side of his face is smoothed out extremely and there were final prints.

We scheduled newborn and immediate family photos. It was the first time we were leaving the house with two kids and trying to be somewhere at a specific time, so of course we were running late, and the road conditions didn’t help either (snow storm the day before). I calledAnd let the studio know we were running a few minutes behind. When we arrived, we were told to relax and take our time. There was no rush. We really appreciated this as our newborn needed to nurse. The staff was extremely patient and understanding. Once we got our kids situated, it was time for pictures. With a two year old and a week old newborn, I’ve had a lot going on and picking out cute outfits and other props for a newborn photo shoot was the last thing on my mind. I assumed that the photographers would have a couple of swaddles/wraps to put the baby in, nothing super elaborate, but some ideas. This wasn’t the case. They had two baskets to place baby in. When I asked about swaddles, I was told everything was more for baby girls (I just had our second son). We were really looking for more guidance for our pictures than we got. When we were being shown the different backdrops I even asked what they would recommend based on what we were wearing (navy, grey, white, khaki) and instead of giving us their recommendation or even narrowing it down to two options, we were told it’s our decision. While it is our decision, that wasn’t really the answer we were looking for. They didn’t really have many suggestions for poses either. It was like “here’s a chair someone can sit in” and then it was up to us to decide who was where. Almost all of the photos were taken in portrait orientation. Out of 36 pictures that we purchased digitally, only 3 of them are landscape orientation. I personally feel that there should be a healthy mix of both orientations and that I shouldn’t have to request this of a professional photographer. After all the pictures were taken, we moved on to the review portion of the session. Man, was that brutal!!! The computer used to view the pictures was ridiculously slow. It would take 2-3 minutes to load three images. While I’m viewing pictures, my husband had to take our two year old out to the car to get him a snack. My newborn was hungry, so I was trying to nurse him while I’m standing there waiting to view the pictures three at a time. The session review took nearly as long as it did to take the photos. The staff were very willing to work with me. I just wanted the digital images, no prints. They gave me a reasonable price for the 36 images I chose. They also offer a military discount (my husband is in the Army), which we greatly appreciate. The price, discount, and their patience would be five stars for me. But their lack of guidance when it came to the photo shoot is what drops my review down to three stars. We really wanted to come in and have the “professionals” take over and that just isn’t at all the experience we had. If you are someone that has your photo session completely planned out beforehand and you want tons of control over how everything goes and is placed, then this is the studio for you. It didn’t work for me. I really don’t know if I would use them again.
