We had JF Photography as our photographer for our engagement shoot (Jamal), henna ceremony (Anthony), and the wedding (Jamal and one other lady for photos and Ron for video), and we were extremely happy with the experience. The turnaround time for the pictures was very quick: less than 2 weeks for the 200-250 engagement photos and one month for the combined final edits of the henna ceremony (~200 photos) and the wedding (800-900 photos). The pictures came out top-notch and very professional: not a single picture was out of focus or blurry. Working with Jamal and his team was also easy; they were very pleasant and very eagerly took a lot of pictures. We got great shots of all the pictures we wanted. It took a little bit longer to get the videos (~2 months) but Jamal was very responsive and stayed in contact with us throughout. Overall, we would definitely go to JF Photography for our future photography needs and highly recommend them.

From the start, JF photography was easy to work with and their pricing is very fair for the quality of photographs that you get. Jamal knew all of the classic wedding shots to take, knew our venue (Mayfair Farms) extremely well, and was a pleasure to work with. The photographs we took before the ceremony were beautifully posed, formal, classic, and elegant. Jamal made sure to take pictures of family during the reception and friends on the dance floor as well. We (and our family and friends) are very impressed with his work and would recommend him for all future weddings!

Jamal and his team photographed my wedding at Highlawn Pavillion and my wife and I couldn't be happier! They were very professional and Jamal knew all of the best shots to take without hesitation and didn't waste a second of our precious wedding time. I used Jf Photography when i got married last year on 11/30/19, Jamal was amazing and very helpful. He also did my engagement photos which came out beautiful. He offer me a great wedding package. Jamal was amazing even during the wedding when i got little bit of chocolate on my wedding dress, ( thank god it was at the end of the wedding) but he fix it for just a few more photos. Pictures came out beautiful and looking at the photos just brings me happiness and just brings me back to that magical night! Also Jamal Son was very helpful with putting our thank you cards together and also helping photo shop people that miss some photos . I would totally recommend to use their services for your wedding . you will not be disappointed and you will have beautiful photos to remember for a life time.

RESPONDING TO JF PHOTOGRAPHY'S RECENT REPLY (BELOW) TO MY WIFE'S NEGATIVE POST ABOUT THEIR AGENCY (2 MONTHS AGO - yes, it took you 2 months to reply to it). Jamal, that was/is a desperate and pathetic attempt to cover yourself. We called you unprofessional then and still stand by it. The fact is, when we emailed you (in December 2016) about our dissatisfaction with the lack of response (via email or call back), you ignored us. This was before we had our wedding album even laid out. Never once did you call us to discuss and smooth things over. You didn't even reply to that complaint email. You just didn't care and it showed. And what's your response to this? "No one else complained about it in 28 years." You just confirmed for any reader, via your response to my wife's post, that you will not call them back or pick up your phone as we stated. Way to go! So basically, we had to accept your lack of customer service if we wanted our album completed sometime in 2017. Furthermore, several photos were out of focus and we couldn't use them. This includes a family shot that we really wanted to use. Every photo that you provided of that particular pose/shot was out of focus. Some outside shots as well. Because your agency doesn't pick up the phone, we had to email all of our changes to you which is why it took so long and had so many rounds of edits. It could have all been done in one (maybe 2) call. This includes the single portraits as well as the album. How quickly you forget this wasn't just about our album. Lastly, the wedding album (when first presented to us as "final") had a black smudge on it (on a white cover). Your colleague handed us a paper towel to wipe it off (ourselves) and commented, "now you see why people get the black cover." Yeah, real professional! Your agency is unprofessional and if you bother to read other comments made about you online, via this and other sites, you'll see we are not the only ones who think so. 28 years with no complaints - research the internet! Maybe you should stop thinking so high of yourself before you lose future clients. All it takes is one bad review. Each bad review means that you didn't do what you should have done to make the client happy. Remember that! AVOID JF PHOTOGRAPHY!

Horrible Job with video failed to call back after complaint. Raw video was just collection of edits instead of most of the event. Video appear to be recorded on a standard digital camera and upscale via video editing. Audio track during ceremony was not sync. What little was recorded seem half hearted such as allowing flashes from the photographer to cause flares instead of just waiting for the photographer not to take pictures and record with no obstruction. Other parts very blurry due to subpar equipment. Very disappointed as what he showed in his office as a demo was nowhere close to what the actual final product ended up being. Response to owner 1 Apparently they are also liars after posting a reply of not attending my wedding yet they knew in their response where the wedding took place when I didn't even mention it on my review. Thanks for not taking accountablity for those you contract. Google please feel free to contact me I'll be more then happy to provide a copy of the contract to prove I contracted their services. Response to owner 2 Unfortunately your mistaken again, as I'm not Vlada. Supplying my own personal honest review is not TOSV. Your inability to admit that you provided poor service attempt to, lie that your didn't provide the service orginally contracted, and then attempt to make up TOSV shows how despicable your business is. Response to owner 3 Your subcontract videographer was the rude one when he proceeded to insult us and blame his terrible video on everyone and everything except himself; meanwhile you stand by and did nothing. Reminder we did record this conversation as your aware of and i'll be more then happy to post the video on youtube so people can witness first hand the unprofessionalism of your staff and those you hire. Your inability to even try to make amends has earn you this review.

Our Wedding was August 12, 2017. Jamal is an amazing person to work with. He is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He wants to make sure you and your husband are happy with the pictures. He goes above and beyond for his costumers. The photos he edited came out amazing! Each photo is stunning and he had them to us in no time. Roughly 4 weeks! He has amazing communication skills. If he wasn't available to talk, he called back right away or emailed back right away. His team were amazing as well. We had Lori, and Anthony as our photographers. We had Greg as our videographer and Anthony's sound shot the ceremony. They were all an absolute blast! They were so much fun to be around and they made you feel so comfortable. My husband and I are not photo people and they made it very easy for us! We have an amazing photos and video! I highly recommend JF photography for any event!!

I was with my daughter when we hire this company, they was very nice and show a very good quality video, and we decided to hair them. When she receive her video, it was not a wedding video how it suppose to be. It was a video like 30 years ago, the camera which they use was very old, some moments on the video blurred and when my daughter ask them why, they say it suppose to be like this. I am sorry but it very bad job. And when she come to tell them that, they was very rude and aggressive. Stay away from this unprofessional place!

We hired J & F Photography for our wedding photos in March 2019. We received our photos within a month of our event and we are very happy with the results. We have a ton of photos to chose from and there was a great mix of candid and staged photos. We also hired a videographer through J & F. We cannot wait to see our video! We are extremely happy that we went with JF Photography for our wedding. They made us feel comfortable and all the pictures turned out perfect! We have pictures of every aspect of our wedding including the cocktail hour which we did not attend. So having the pictures allows us to see our guests having fun and enjoying their time. JF Photography really captured our wedding and looking back at our pictures, we can still visualize the wedding day as though it was just happening. Jamal was our photographer, and Kori was our videographer! We couldn't have chosen a better vendor to capture our wedding! When we watched our video teaser, my Husband and I both got goosebumps. Both the videos and photos have our wedding magic captured in them! On the wedding day, I had some ideas of pictures that I wanted and they made them happen. Jamal and Kori were extremely nice and friendly that they made us feel so comfortable and that is what you want when you're taking you're wedding pictures. I never felt stressed or upset, they made sure that we were having fun in the process. Also, when we went in for our consultation Ziad was there and he works on Photoshop, my husband told him that he wanted a picture with a dinosaur in it, and Ziad never forgot! When I went to pick up the pictures he showed me the dinosaur picture. Everyone who saw our pictures absolutely ADORED them!! They gave us all out pictures, we have more than 1,000 pictures from our wedding day! I will definitely be using JF Photography Studio for any future photo shoots or any videos we want taken!

AVOID JF PHOTOGRAPHY!!! The owner (Jamal) is unprofessional. His office doesn't pick up the phone (once they have your money). They don't return phone calls unless they need to collect an installment or final payment. Because they don't have any phone relations, all communications must be done through email and you don't always get same day response. This is not good when they send you edits that require more work and weren't done as asked. This is because his graphic artists struggled with edit requests, and it took many rounds before our individual portraits came out correct. We had to refrain from edit requests to the rest of our 60 photos in our wedding album for fear it would take a year to get it right. Going back to the individual portraits, after 5 rounds of edits on 6 photos, Jamal sent them to be printed without our sign off. 5 rounds of edits done via email as he would not call us back to discuss. He knew that we were targeting getting these done for Christmas (we had a early November wedding). We were clear that we wanted it done right even if that meant we couldn't hit the Christmas deadline. He decided to print them without approval. One day, we got home and a Fed Ex package with the pics was at our door with a receipt inside (for a couple extra photos we purchased outside of our package deal. Luckily, they were good enough. We wrote the owner to complain about radio silence and the inability to call and discuss requested edits. He ignored the email. He didn't shoot our wedding. His shooter was contracted. She was very enthusiastic with a pleasant personality and good with kids. However, a good handful of our pics were out of focus. We wanted a pic of both families (immediate members) together. It was an inside pic and every shot of it was out of focus and couldn't be used. We did speak to Jamal's office manager (Maryann) to express concern and ask if anything could be done via graphic design. Her response was, "well, you have so many other nice photos to choose from." Several of our outdoor pics by a fountain lake were out of focus as well. Lastly, they called us to pick up our album. When we arrived to pick it up, it had a black smudge on the cover (a white cover). They never bothered to inspect it prior to our arrival. Jamal's son was working that day. He offered a wet paper towel to clean it off and remarked, "that's why people tend to choose the black album cover." Do yourself a favor, avoid JF Photography. The professionalism and reliability doesn't match the price. The headaches are not worth it. There are so many good photographers in NJ that you are better off with someone else.

We are very happy with our decision to hire JF Photography to take our engagement and wedding photos. From the day we first met Jamal and his team, we felt the energy and the love for the craft. They knew what they were doing and helped make an already stressful day a little more relaxing knowing that we were in good, professional hands. This was never more prevalent than the wedding day itself. He was able to manage the bridal party and the family and take some amazing shots that we will cherish forever. They were patient with us and all the guests. Overall we could not be more pleased JF photography and will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a photographer for any occasion.

When I came they show me a nice videos, and tell me that I am so lucky to get their videographer, and I received 2 days ago my video, I was almost crying how bad it is. I never see so bad video like mine. It better will be if I take someone with cell phone and it gonna be better quality. He did not even take video of my dress , just up part , no video of venue, no cocktail hour, most of the video was just dancing , no quality, music which we choose , sounds not clear, I can't show anyone my video, because it nothing to see on it... I don't know about photo, since we got different company for it, video sucks.:((((((( don't know what videographer did all my wedding, since I did not see any work and price is not cheap. Response to owner: it not just flashes half the wedding wasn't recorded which is why your videographer had to settle with whatever shots he took. When question what he was doing for four hours that he didn't record his response was it doesn't matter. Anyone who has contracted or employee someone would never find that as an acceptable excuse. Your videographer may have work 30 years but he completely botch this job and didn't have the professionalism to admit it. Both your company and your videographer choose to blame everything except your own incompetence, laziness, and unprofessionism. I hope no one ever contract you for videography again so you can't ruin their wedding like you ruin ours.
