What a perfect location! Its in the core of Hamilton and easy to find. This studio has absolutely everything to offer and all at your finger tips. Very easy going and friendly manager making the experience all that much more enjoyable. Fair pricing and availability to fit everyones needs. This was my first time using a studio and I couldn't have asked for a better one! This is definitely a one stop shop for everything a photographer would dream to do. There were so many backgrounds to choose from, naturally lighted and lighted. The lights I needed were already set up and all I needed to do was turn them on. The facilities included a satellite radio, props, in suite bathroom facilities, a make up area and drinks; all for a wonderful price. What more could you need? I can't wait to go again!

It was a good place to shoot, but I feel like the studio itself could do more with polishing up the interior design of the room for further use of the space. Great natural light from the window though!

highly recommend HamiltonStudio.ca. Sam Taylor the owner is helpful and courteous. The facilities have numerous backdrops, fabric and paper, and a brick textured wall. There's window lighting and four strobes. There's a shower with a an optional rain effect. Sam has several pieces of furniture: arm chairs, couches, a bed, a buffet, a vintage radio, a bathtub, bean bag chair and stools. You can borrow from an extensive wardrobe. It's roomy, with high ceilings, and ladders if you need them. There are two bathrooms, a change room and a make up counter and mirror. Sam's thought of just about everything else you might need, for example lint roller, cold soft drinks, hair pins, polish remover, scissors, clamps, and extension cords. He offers what I think are very reasonable rates for a space so well equipped and convenient to use.

Did a photo shoot here on the Wed night. Model was lovely. The organizer and owner of the studio was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. There were good lighting setups that were well explained. Small touches like the included soft drinks were appreciated. The group was small which gave a lot of shooting time with the model. The studio itself was great and it was also located in a building that in itself had so many places to get some great shots. I had rented studio time here before but this was my first time when someone else did the organizing.

This studio is a rare find and true jem for the experienced photographer or anyone looking to enjoy the experience and gain knowledge from running their own personal shoot. Sam was so accommodating from start to finish. During my initial call every question I had, and then some, were answered in detail even before I had a chance to ask. All requests were met without hesitation and he even took extra time to hang around and give a live tutorial and walk through of the equipment/facility. The building and location have many excellent locations to capture great photos with different aspects of character. Everything listed in detail on the website were provided, clean and fully stocked upon arrival. A great experience and I will definitely be returning for family portraits this holiday season.
