Great place to gain experience and exposure at Open Hours. Could use more coaching or supervision on photographer etiquette. Taking pictures of a model means you need to give him/her your info to have access to the photos later. I experienced a lot of "flocking" - other photographers shooting me behind the one I agreed to work with.

This is where I started off , open house every month but layout never changes. That's the only downside. Great to begin your modeling...but not enough backdrops to explore to add something different to the table..to your port. Too many white backdrops, a small section for a black backdrop..I honestly think Matt should switch it up but it hasn't changed for years so I doubt there'll be changes made anytime soon. This is only for open houses.

We took the portrait picturing outside in the nature. Matt is very kind and patient, and professional. He gets along with kids very well, so that the kids acted naturally when pictures were taken. Matt provided different portrait ideas, so people in the pictures look very lively. The pictures are well structured, and the color of it is beautiful and vivid. And Matt's stroke and polishing on the pictures is artistic, adding more decoration and imagination to the pictures.

Very professional photographer. If you are traveling to other country with strict visa photo requirements, this is the place you should go. They do have better equipment than Walmart, CVS. And the photographer would adjust the photo based on your requirements. Very very patient.

I have attended multiple Open Hours (awesome experience and great networking opportunities) and rented blocks of studio time. The studio is fantastic! There is everything you could possibly want. Focus on Studio is a comprehensive studio. Highend lights, modifiers and gels, extensive backdrops, props galore and even wardrobe. Matt is always available to help and is very flexible. Rates are reasonable and a great value. I highly recommend Focus on Studio!

Matthew immediately got on the appropriate website to accomplish the photo. He went out of his way to make two sizes to make sure one would work. It did! Thank you
