My family and I had our pictures taken here and they turned out horrible, what a waste of $600. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! They need to get up to date with their equipment and hire better photographers. They’re still stuck in the 80s, run and don’t look back! You could find a better and cheaper photographer in the RVA area.

Caston studios has done all of my pictures, high school, bachelors and now master's degree. Each time my pictures are gorgeous and they truly capture each milestone. Sure, I could've went to walmart or jcpenney and paid for a 19.99 special but for the quality and great service I rather pay a bit more for my pictures. The best part is that the owners are so down to earth and welcoming, when Laney learned that my grandmother passed away he had no problem working with my family to give us the best deal for the package of photos we chose. His wife is the sweetest and his receptionist will keep a smile on your face.

Bad business practice. Rude owner and employees. My daughter had her senior pictures done at this place that was dirty and unorganized in January 2021. We picked out the pictures we wanted March 8,2021. The owner said he would email me a picture for my daughters yearbook on March 8,2021 after several calls and texts I received it March 30. I never received a call about the pictures being done and ready to be picked up. Today my mother was told that they couldn’t find them. And whoever she talked to said “do you want me to beg on my hands and knees for forgiveness”. So I paid 800 and have nothing to show for it. Now they are saying that they will be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday. DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR MONEY!!! Awful customer service!!! I want a full refund.

I paid a fortune for my sons graduation photos. What I got was not worth what I paid!! I paid extra for a disc for the pictures I purchased a few measly prints of and it was such low resolution I couldn’t even use one on a graduation poster for his party. When I called and asked them about it I was told it was almost 150$ to get a better quality PER PHOTO?! AFTER I SPENT SEVERAL HUNDRED ALREADY!!? It seemed like an over priced Mom and pops operation and was extremely awkward when we went to view the photos with their family members interrupting. Extremely disappointed. Why did I pay extra for a useless disc of the photos?! It was only 5 pictures?!

Caston Studios was hired to photograph my wedding. They did an excellent job and the pictures were remarkable. They captured the most beautiful moments. My son recently graduated and I wanted his pictures taken at yes, Caston Studios. I got his pictures back and once again, I was impressed. They did not let me down. Eric, the photographer was very professional. My son is shy and does not like to smile for pictures but Eric made it happen. I would recommend anyone who wants good quality photos to go to Caston…they’re amazing ????

I had Caston Studios restore my bridal portrait which had faded from being in the sun. They did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them. The restoration actually looks better than the original. The price was very reasonable as well. Great job!!! I am very pleased!!

Caston Studio Photography took my grandson's senior pictures. Everything was perfect! The photographer took extra time with him to assure we got just the right photograph. Both the photographer and Mr. Caston were very patient with us as we chose the photographs we wanted printed. I also want to add, that when I submitted my grandson's picture for the school yearbook the teacher responded with what a nice picture it was of Jacob. She wanted to know who took his picture. I told her Caston. She said she thought so, because she recognized their work. Caston also took her son's senior pictures. Yes, definitely 5 stars for their work!

I have had good experience with Caston in the past but most recent was Terrible .... did a family session with my child and the facility was dirty . With review of the pictures for editing photography staff were in the pictures and had to be edited out also we were told certain aspects of the picture would be edited out to make the pictures look nice and when we received the pictures this was not done when we questioned this and requested editing I was told we were too picky. I had to return on 3 occasions related to this session as pictures were missing and some not edited . While they did fix everything in the end, this was not the quality I am used to with Caston and I will Not return and do not recommend Caston.

I used them for both a residency application photo and a medical school graduation photo, as my school’s ceremony was virtual this year. Both photos are spectacular. They were easy to schedule with, helpful with poses and obtaining a variety of shots to choose among, and the finished product was wonderful both times.

I decided to come to Caston Studio for my professional headshot after reading many great reviews about them. When I arrived, a partner of Mr. Caston took my photos. Afterwards, Mr. Caston had me look through the photos only once. After I commented that a couple photos looked good, he immediately began editing one of the photos without confirming which one I actually wanted to be edited. I wanted more time to look at the photos. When I asked if I can have some time to view them at home and then let him know which one I wanted to be edited, he told me it was not possible and I would have to pay extra for that. As I did not have enough time to look through the photos to pick out the one I liked the most, I had to pay an extra $110 on top of the $135 photoshoot for a USB with the rest of the photos even though I just wanted proofs. I was very unhappy with the quality of this service and Mr. Caston's attitude towards me. I wish I wasn't rushed by him and he could have offered me an option of proofs instead of charging me an extra $110 for photos. I would definitely not recommend Caston Studio.
