We rented A Little Photo Studio event space for my daughters one year birthday celebration with family and friends and it was perfect. The staff was easy and helpful to coordinate with leading up to the event, and the day of was awesome. They were so on top of everything, helping set up, clean up, and making sure our guests were comfortable so that we could enjoy the party and not worry about drinks being refilled, etc! I would HIGHLY recommend this event space and event team! The photographer Syd Jo was amazing as well!!!

I can't say enough about Melissa and the Little Photo Studio team! This was the first time I hired them to take our family photos and I will definitely go back. In fact, my goal is to have my dogs photographed in 2021. The team was so professional, detail oriented and more importantly fun! I ordered photos and frames and they look fantastic! We hosted our son's first birthday at A Little Photo Studio and enjoyed the photo shoot so much we recently went back and had a 3 hour session now that he is 2.5 years old. While I didn't think it was possible, this full session was even better than the one that was included with birthday space rental. Melissa connected with our son in a real way and brought out his personality. Toddlers can be temperamental and ours is no different. We were prepared for the worst, but the 3 hours were a delight. Our son was happy, animated, and full of joy. It's been almost a week since the shoot and our son still talks about Melissa and pretends to take pictures and play the little games she played with him. My wife and I are so glad to have found A Little Photo Studio and know we have our "go to" place for photographs.

While taking my headshots I noticed so many great photos of kids and families in the space…they were natural and beautiful, little pieces of art. Melissa and her whole team are so unbelievably talented, professional and, overall, wonderful to work with! Service is impeccable and the photos they are able to capture are amazing. They were great with my two small kids (2yrs and 8 months)—kept them engaged and happy the entire time—taking photos or not! My husband and I had smiles plastered on our faces watching our kids have so much fun and seeing the memories Melissa and Lauren were capturing for us. Never did we have to tell our two year old to sit still or smile—they ran the show so flawlessly that all we had to do was watch and enjoy! In today’s digital age where anyone with a “nice” camera and a website can be a ”photographer”, this operation is a cut above the rest. I can’t say enough about this team. The whole event team at A Little Photo Studio was a dream to work with for my daughters 1st birthday party. Jerry was the best coordinator by keeping us on track and everything clean and easy to manage. Megan, our photographer, was beyond amazing. She somehow managed to get every single kiddo at the party to smile and be engaged with her photos. She was never in the way of the party goers but they all were in awe of her ability to catch the kiddos at the exact right moment. We left knowing that every single one of our guests was happy and impressed with the out of this world service that was given to us. Will definitely be back - if not for another party at least for a session with one of their incredibly talented photographers.

Melissa’s ability to authentically engage my children during our photo session led to pictures that truly capture their individual spirits and personalities. It was almost uncanny how she was able to connect with my 7-year old son who was dreading the photo session while also focusing the enthusiasm that my 4-year old daughter brought to the photo session. No forced smiles or fake laughs. Every emotion you see in our photos reflects the pure joy our whole family felt being in front of Melissa’s lens. When it came time to review and select the photos to produce, Megan was the perfect guide. Her patience, diligence, ability to listen well and offer her own advice made the process less stressful....and even fun. I know there is a whole team of other individuals at LPS who also helped bring my littles’ personalities to print, and I’m so grateful. (And to whoever helped lighten the bags under my tired eyes, you deserve extra points.) But seriously, I know it sounds super sappy, but I will treasure these photos of my kids in this stage of life forever. Thank you and thanks for making the entire process start to finish a fun project for me, too.

Had an excellent actor headshot session with Nico! Headshots have always made me feel nervous and uncomfortable, but Nico made me feel confident and at ease. My main goal was to have my pictures represent me in the best light, and Nico definitely accomplished that. He is an actor himself so he’s great at communicating and understanding what an actor needs out of the shoot. My pictures turned out great and I couldn’t be happier! I was bummed that I only got to keep 5 photos out of the whole shoot because there were so many great pictures!!

We had such a wonderful experience with Melissa. She took pictures of our son at six months and as I told her when we got them, they hurt my heart they were so good. Not only were the photographs themselves just incredible, but she was able to put together really fun combinations and thought of some awesome additional presentation possibilities so we got the grandparents (and ourselves) some really unique gifts.
