An awesome place for motivating you to challenge yourself. An incredible support team who offers a vast amount of knowledge about health and fitness. You come in unsure? You will leave with confidence!
Good people, good workouts. The TRX class was good.
I joined the 40 day yoga challenge and am loving every bit. Naomi has incredible style and explains the poses and modifications in a way that speaks to everyone no matter how you are feeling or what your level of experience. I appreciate having access to different styles of yoga and instructors as well as the opportunity to try other fitness classes. I highly recommend this supportive and fun community.
For many years I have been enjoying the yoga offerings at this inspirational fitness studio. Hatha, Power, Rise and Energize, Yin, and BUTI are yoga practices that are available and at a great variety of times to fit your schedule. This studio is so much more than a place to exercise, it is a community.
I just finished the Spring Reset Challenge with IPF. I highly recommend them to anybody searching for a new start. Before this challenge I was definitely stuck. I was down on myself, not making the best food choices and struggling to get off the couch. The support I received from Coach Leanne as well as the group members was amazing! It was exactly what I needed to turn my slump around, get moving and remember how good eating good food makes me feel! Just do it! You won’t regret it!
Unbelievably great teachers, that help you with the poses as well as steps in different classes.
I have attended Studio IPF classes for many years. The classes, the instructors and the community are awesome. Today I want to say how great the virtual classes are that started when COVID shut us all in. I live half an hour from the studio. Now, I can take 2 classes in a day and save 2 hours of driving. I can book a class last minute. I have a business from home so, although it hasn’t happened, I could slip out of camera view to take an important business call. I find I am taking 4-6X as many classes virtually. And, if you do not live in the Comox Valley you still can take these great classes. Soon, the studio is moving to the best of both worlds, some in-studio classes and some virtual classes. I recommend Studio IPF 100%! UPDATE! Studio IPF continues to adjust and adapt to the ever changing health orders. Leanne and her team have created a virtual community that is strong and supportive and not only fills our physical needs but also our social needs. The virtual classes have been game changers for me!
Leanne and all the instructors at IPF are amazing! Just finished the 35 day challenge to get back on track with a workout schedule. Loving the online classes, so much easier to fit them into my day that way.
What a gem. My wife and I have only gone a few times, but we feel at home already. They are so welcoming. They offer a multitude of classes for people with varied schedules, and the instructors are supportive, engaging, and really make it attainable for ALL bodies and levels. My wife is more of a beginner and I am a little more flexible, and we both get a really challenging workout in the same class. So if you have never been, or are hesitant to try yoga, pilates, TRX, and everything else they offer, this is definitely a place to take your first step.
Amazing classes, fantastic trainers, very supportive and fun atmosphere
I'm sharing my experience of working with Naomi Chester, who is, among other things, a yoga teacher at Studio IPF. I've known Naomi for a number of years, but our paths crossed again a couple of years ago via a shared passion for tango — and teaching yoga. As I've started my career as a yoga teacher I've found Naomi's knowledge of yoga and Aeurveyda to be profoundly helpful, in my teaching, but perhaps even more so on a personal level. I have the greatest respect for Naomi, and recommend her to anyone wanting a yoga class. I also recommend her as a coach, someone who knows how to apply the wisdom of yoga and the Aeurveydic perspective to the rough and the smooth of life.
I recently completed the reset challenge at IPF and it was amazing. We were supported by Leanne with weekly check-in calls, weekly meal plans, fitness classes and recipes. After 4 weeks, my stomach feels happy again and I’ve learned some very healthy habits and routines!
I love Studio IPF! I've been going for 3 years (maybe more?!) now and haven't committed to a place that long - ever. There are tons of class options so I'm never bored and enough time slots throughout the day that I have no excuse not to attend something! The instructors are amazing and I have felt welcomed from day one. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs variety to stay motivated and group classes to push themselves!
The IPF 28 day reset was my first challenge I ever participated in. Within days I noticed the aches in my joints went away and I had renewed energy after a busy work day. The food recipes opened my eyes to healthier alternatives and required little preparation. I enjoyed exploring the classes live and virtual as I live out of town, and the prerecorded allow me to access times that worked for my schedule. Leanne and her crew are amazing!
Never tried an IPF reset challenge .... well why wait ?? I signed up for my 1st challenge thinking that it was going to shake up my fitness routine - but bam....it was a healthy kick to my overall health and wellness -- I didn't even have to really think....every week Leanne sent us meal plans, shopping lists and recipes -- it was so nice not to have to ask the family what does everyone want for supper??? it was already planned for me ... I have some severe food allergies but Leanne and the other amazing challengers were there to offer suggestions -- I encourage you to challenge yourself and sign up for the next one .. you won't regret it-- heck you might even learn to like broccoli like I did :) Cheryl R
I was part of the 28 day reset and just in the first week I felt a difference. It was almost as if I was lighter. They provide recipes and a meal plan for the challenge and even I a non cook can make them. Along with eating plan you get to participate in the on-line or in studio classes, which I have totally enjoyed for a couple years now. I plan to keep up with the meal planning and classes for years to come. Love love love this place.
When I decided to join this challenge I thought maybe it would help me get back to healthy eating, it did this but i also learnt so much more about myself. This has been a life changer for me. I have always moved my body and eaten well, but during lockdown I noticed I was doing the afternoon snack attack....I would then feel awful and decide I did not need dinner. Coach Leanne gave me the insight that allowed me to realize the importance of planning, shopping and eating nutritious meals. I feel good, strong and satisfied. I highly recommend this challenge, it is first class, And you are supplied with everything you need. Do this for yourself because you are worth it!
We recently held our 2021 YANA Big Love Benefit and want to thank you for your generous donation of an IPF 28 Day Challenge. The Comox Valley has embraced the concept that it takes a community to raise a child. We are grateful for Studio IPF: Inner Pursuit Fitness' donation which helped create a memorable evening and a successful fundraiser. Thank you on behalf of YANA (You Are Not Alone) Comox Valley Board of Directors
Delighted to see the addition of some highly skilled yoga instructors to the IPF roster, especially the yoga classes that occur at "out-of-the-box" times such as really early in the morning or the early evenings.
Inner Pursuit Fitness offers an inclusive, supportive environment, that caters to all levels of fitness. Leanne and her team have created a safe, and encouraging environment for everyone who attends.
I just finished the IPF 28 Day Routine Reset Challenge. It has been a life changer. It got me back on track with both my fitness and healthy eating. Weekly meal plans as well as a grocery list is given to you with ample time to get yourself prepped and ready for a healthy week. I had access to online classes 7 days a week - a great thing during Covid times. Leanne was amazing. She is so positive, encouraging, attentive to anything you need or ask for. I HIGHLY recommend you give one of the Challenges a try. You won't be disappointed!
Yin yoga with Brigit on Monday evenings after TRX is a great way to loosen up and wind down for the night.
I love the IPF challenges!!! They offer support, great workouts, a really good meal plan that gives you all the information you need and check-ins with your challenge group- so you know you are not doing it alone! I have done many and will do more!!!
I just wanted to say that Tina's Yoga class on Tuesday, July 24th at 6:00 a.m. was probably one of the best classes I have ever attended. The class flowed beautifully and she is just so sweet.
I have recently finished the IPF 35 day routine reset challenge and was thrilled with the process and the results. The frequent motivational emails sent by Leanne, the meal plans, the recipes, the shopping lists all made this challenge easily doable. The virtual workouts and yoga classes are great and there's no excuse since you can do them from anywhere you have internet access. I would encourage anyone who wants to reset their routine to sign up for a challenge through Studio IPF. But don't wait for a challenge to start going to as many exercise/yoga classes that fit into your schedule - they're great!
I just finished my first ipf cardio dance with Jessica Whitman. If you love to dance this is the class for you. 5 stars is not enough to give. Jessica made it so much fun and fun for all levels of dancers. I cant wait to go again. ❤
Positive leadership to all at any age and training experience. Super-quick changeover to virtual since Covid kept the variety of classes happening. Recent 28 day challenge included the online classes along with generous daily and weekly motivating information and group sharing via email and zoom.
I recently participated in a 28 day challenge at IPF. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of exercises available so that you could sample new classes without committing for weeks to something that may not be a good fit. The food guide and instructions were very easy to follow and prep in advance to make staying on track easier. The personal coaching which came with the challenge was all about positive body image and self care which were a highlight for me. I look forward to the next challenge in a few months! Thanks for the slimmer, healthier and more balanced me, Leanne.
