I needed some reactine and wanted to buy the cheaper generic brand but theirs was over 10$, so I went to the nearest grocery and found what I needed there on sale for 6$. I like many things in this store but find them too overpriced, so I wait for sales.

I am a Cornwall resident. And I had to go to perth to be with my 80 year old mom during covid to be with her and help her. I am happy to do so. I am a diabetic and other difficulties. I transfered my diabetic back to this shoppers. It was my shoppers. I need my lifestyle monitor. They aren't helping me. I even had to call myself to pharmasave in perth to . To even get help. Called shoppers and the hung up on Mr. I'm trying to get off my insulin and feel better. Shoppers in perth made Mr cryvwhen the wouldn't help Mr. I feel so tired and now I don't know my dugat levels. MYbd if I called the police for help. I don't know. Shoppers on second. Worst person I ever talked to. I hope I just get my monitor. Do I can try to help myself to be healthier. They should not have hung up on me and left me feeling this way.

I can’t believe I have to make a review such as this… my sister came home in tears after a racist remark was made against her in the shoppers drug mart by the beauty consultant named Erica. She was told that she was unable to purchase multiple of one item (which was obviously a subjective rule) in order to resell overseas. My sister was just trying to buy Christmas gifts at an affordable price after Covid. I’m honestly speechless. Don’t bother going to the shoppers drug Mart Brookdale is way better. I

RIPPED OFF— I bought a gift card in January. Got the card home it didn’t work. Brought the card back they said their wasn’t anything they could do, I’d have to call a number associated with Shoppers that deals with this sort of thing. The associate told me they would most likely send me a shoppers gift card, I asked her with the shoppers gift card would I be able to get a different card with the shoppers gift card that they send me she said YES. One month later I finally get the shoppers card in the mail. I went to shoppers to get a different card I’m at the cashier with the shoppers gift card and the one I want to buy. The cashier said she can’t do the transaction cause it’s against store policy to use a shoppers gift card to buy different gift card. I didn’t buy the original gift card just to use it in there store I bought it to use where ever wanted to use it. This is BS don’t buy any gift cards from Shoppers cause if it doesn’t work the will send you a gift card from there store and you are stuck with spending it in there store. F*** this place no more business from me. I can buy elsewhere.

Everytime i go with my prescription to this pharmacy its nothing but hassles. I've been going to this same location for ten years and it's never changed. Actually was told by the owner yesterday that my doctor never put the code on the prescription so it wasn't covered and he's not calling the doctor to get it because last time he was on hold for an hour waiting. His advice for me? Do it myself lol What a joke and and lack of professionalism. Also witnessed owner and workers making fun of patients out in the open in front of clients. Can you imagine? Coming to your pharmacy in chronic pain and being made fun of in front of other workers and customers? Embarrassing and very unprofessional

There is truly nothing more annoying than trying to get your prescribed medication from these glorified vending machines. Every single refill another issue pops up which forced me to go without doctor prescribed medication for sometimes weeks at a time. Hope that medication which was prescribed by a doctor wasnt for anything important like your health or ability to function in the work place.

Mid to high priced for non-pharmacy goods, although they do have good specials on selected items. Open til midnight every night which is why they are my main "grocery store". Staff are awesome in all departments (and will help you find deals, especially the day before the new flyer takes effect every week!) ???? Sadly owned by Loblaws (ie., Superstore) but at least than means you can earn PC points here. ...should probably boycott the bread though. *Sigh* lol

Just okay as a shoppers location. It’s much smaller than the location than the one down town. You are probably better off going to the newer location on the Center of town. I was disappointed in the lack of available products. Slightly disappointed.

I went in asking for help with medications I got from COSTCO. I was not satisfied with Costco's response and felt I could get better service here. The pharmacist on duty June 8th was the least helpful professional I have met in a long long long time. I was willing to move my scripts to Shoppers Drug Mart but not now. I will never return. I did then go to the Superstore on Ryan roads and had a wonderful helpful conversation with the pharmacist there and he did research for me that result in a different medication the next day. So you now know where my lolaty stand - Superstore - great job.

I wanted to tell you all how WONDERFUL my experience was here at the Pharmacy. I usually NEVER right positive reviews...but the pharmacist and assistant pharmacist here offered me so much kindness here last week, I am still totally blown away. They didn't have the medication I needed so they went to the ends of the earth to track it down from a different pharmacy. They were SO SWEET. :) You girls are the best. You made my Christmas so much better with your compassion.

Pharmacy staff are generally rude and unhelpful. The last time I picked up there were 3 other pharmacy staff watching the young man look for my prescription without offering him any assistance. Heaven forbid you ask to pay for a couple additional items while paying for your prescription to avoid going over your debit transaction limit, too. Cosmetics counter staff constantly make you feel as though they think you’re stealing while browsing in their department.

With Covid 19 ongoing it is necessary to adapt to current practices. I live in a retirement residence and have prescriptions delivered from time to time. Currently I am not allowed to to out to eventap my debit card nor is the delivery person allowed in the building. I have never given my credit card number out for any reason and do not want to do that. I get Ostomy Supplies from Medical Arts Pharmacy and was able to arrange to pay using online banking. The payment is made as soon as I get and review the invoice and likely prior to the driver getting back to the store.. in these times while I appreciate the workers it would be nice if the Management would be more helpful. This will not last forever and all common methods of payment should be permitted. Thumbs down on this experience.

Was trying to purchase a Nintendo switch game so I called ahead to make sure they had it. Who ever picked up the phone didn't even go check just said they don't cary those. Ended up driving down to check, sure enough they did have it in stock. Spent 20 mins instore trying to buy the game with no success. They weren't able to open the magnitised box it was in and actually completely the sale. Very disappointed. They couldn't sell me a product that was available in the store. Incopitent, rude staff members ruined my experience. Won't shop again

They had what I needed, but the make-up sales lady would not leave me alone. I asked to be left alone to make my own selections, yet she persisted in following me down the aisle and trying to pick things for me that I didn't want. Then she began applying concealer under my eyes from a tester - without my permission! I told her that was not a shade I wanted, and that I would pick my own thanks, and she tried to snatch the concealer from my hand and I open it, 'so I could test it'. I know she was trying to be helpful, but I felt harassed, and I really didn't like being poked in the eye with her little makeup brush again and again! Won't be going there again....

Terrible service at the pharmacy. Not helpful at all, and they "were too busy" to give me a simple phone call when my perscription would ready. It wasnt even a friendly sorry, the fellow "helping me" had a downright terrible attitude.

I honestly have come to really dislike the pharmacy. Almost the entire staff are notoriously rude. They have never once acknowledged me right away, I always have to stand there for a minute while they stand around fiddling with something, before they even look up at me. They always seem annoyed with customers and annoyed to be there, and they're snappy with you for no reason. I plan on changing pharmacies within the next few months. For the store itself, they have nice products but it's way overpriced in comparison to literally any other grocery store.

I am reading the negative comments regarding the pharmancy. I can relate, I have never dealt with such rude employees in my life. Our family doctor even phoned them as she was not impressed!! The only good thing that came from this experience is we now go to Courtenay Pharmacy!! Amazing helpful staff over there. Shoppers pharmancy is the worst!!

I was unavoidably away from home, and had to get some prescriptions filled... without the prescriptions???? I'm not a regular Shoppers client either, which complicated things. The closest Rexall...my regular pharmacy...was 32 kms away, so my doc sent new prescriptions to the local Shoppers for me. They were great there, and sent the balance of my prescriptions to my home pharmacy for me, (even though it's not a Shoppers). Great service!????

This is really a 2.5 star review. Not every time I go in this shoppers is bad but not every time is good. It's downtown location must cater to a rougher clientele. I understand security precautions have to be in place to discourage theft but I'm a busy mom and would like to go shopping in my sweats with no makeup when I finally get 20 mins to myself without being followed around the store and asked 20x if I need help while I am trying to enjoy a little shop with my earbuds in. I've had help by two pharmacists who were good at helping me pick Otc medicine. There are really only two nice cashiers. The men working in electronic are probably the most helpful if you want help choosing products. I think this store could really benefit from some staff appreciation to boost moral... Or maybe the pharmacist needs to slip them all happy pills, who knows.

Amazing patient and kind customer service. I switched over from superstore yesterday who’ve been treating me awful and they were so understanding and helpful on the phone. Answered all my questions, got my order ready ASAP to pickup and then went over everything with me when I came in. I had to call them back again today because superstore still didn’t send my whole file over and wouldn’t when I asked and shoppers even called me back to confirm they’d requested it. Should have made the switch years ago thank you so much to all the staff I spoke with today and yesterday for making my day better.

2 stars for the pharmacy. Can't speak for the rest of the outlet. Clerk behind the counter was kurt, and borderline rude. Also of no help. After my clinic called to find out why they would not dispense my prescript' things were straightened out. However I had to make a second trip from our outlying location to pick up an item that should have been dispensed the first time. They really put the 'C' back in cervice... Sept. 27 Update I have to be fair... went to pick up prescript today and it was a pleasure. Diff staff member. Friendly, courteous helpful. That's the Shoppers Pharmacy I am used to. May have been a little unfair to the 'whole' pharmacy the other day. That's the sort of experience that will bring me back. Well done different staff member!!.
