I had photos taken with my fiance and in-laws for a very special occasion: our family was together in the same place for the first time in many years. Arash was very flexible for our shoot and opened the studio late on the weekend to suit our schedule. We were treated like family during the shoot and there were lots of laughs to keep us all happy and smiling in the photos. The end results were excellent and we now have enduring memories of this special moment in our lives. Definitely recommend Rosewood to capture your special event or family occasion.

After reading 452 five star comments, I had to pay a visit for some head shots. I found their prices very reasonable.. Apparently two brothers are running the business.. They are both very professional.. When I was waiting for my turn, I saw a few people receiving their passport photos and so happy how they had turned out. I don't know about you, but I have always hated my passport photos.. I know where I want to go when its time to renew passport photos :) A hidden jewel in Lonsdale Ave. I highly recommend this place.

Almost went to the wrong store, this store had a small entry way that immediately leads to a staircase to a lower floor. Got passport photos done really quickly, he let me retake it too cause I looked dumb but that's my own face, no fault of the photographer. He edited it really fast like a machine. He sent a digital copy to me and printed/cut out the physical copy on the spot. Everything was done in like 15 min. Awesome service. It was $15 even for the digital copy and 2 physical copies.

Unbalivable service!! I have a project from hell and a short deadline. I got introduced to Arash by my uncle and was told he could help me with my magazine editorial. My time crunch was 3 days since the photographer I was depending on left me high and dry. He spent 2 full days up to midnight at my side until I had completed my task. He charged a very fair price as well. I've actually never met someone more equipped with hardware and skills to photoshop. I don't think I could have completed a better project if it wasent for him. My family needed passport photos recently, so found Rosewood Photo on google, and I liked it's convenient location on Lonsdale. It was very easy to find, and there was free parking nearby. Right away, I was impressed. Arash Azrahimi has a very nice photography studio, and I was shocked that we were getting such professional photos at such a low price. If you have gotten passport photos at a drug store, copy house, or smoke shop in the past, you have to try Rosewood Photography; it's a completely different experience, and the price is still better than those places! Also, I should mention that Arash is great with kids - he was able to very effectively direct my sons into the proper pose and posture, and the whole shoot was finished quickly with no fuss. I will definitely be getting all of my future passport photos from Rosewood Photography, and am also planning to get some nice family photos taken with Arash in the near future! After trying it myself, totally worth every good review: high quality and resolution, super fast in just 5 min you get your photos, and cheap (11.20 I think with tax included). Really excellent photos and wonderful service. We had US and Canadian passport photos done for our 2 month old baby which as you can imagine was a challenge. Not only did they work for the passport office which has stringent requirements, but they looked nice as well. Based on the recommendation of a friend, I drove from Surrey on a rainy night to this studio to get my citizenship application photos from this studio. This is what I would like to say that my drive, totally worth it! The knowledge of the photographer about the past and current specifications for citizenship photos and his professional conduct while he was taking the photos made me comfortable about the quality of the final product. Also, the price at which he gives them is unbeatable.

Don’t expect a good customer service at this place. The photographer is always in a rush to get rid of his customers to do his other stuff. Even if you are happy with first your photoshoot when he shows it to you on his camera, he is not willing to take another one. The studio is too plain, old and empty and the furniture looks to have been used for 50 years!

We took passport photo for the family and he said it takes 20 min to be ready while another guy took photo after us and he gave his photo while we were waiting there. When I asked the question why he gave his photo while he came after us he told you can go somewhere else. I asked how about my time? He started talking non sense and said I am not giving you photos. I went to the studio recently to get a photo taken for some official documents. Service was exceptional, quick and the price right. The photographer had an extremely professional setup for portraits you won't find in London Drugs or any other mall stores, with light bounces (1 of them warm) and 2 diffused studio flash lights synched with his DSLR. He really cared about his work and gave me good directions to position my head and eyes in order to get a good portrait, I can really tell he had years of experience in his shoulders (I used to be a studio photographer as well). Needed a passport photo and found this place on google. Excellent attitude, service and rate! You can tell by the setup and shooting process that this is a pro shooter. It was a little hard to find because there is another photo studio nearby but this is the one going down the stairs and it was well worth the effort. I ordered 3 sets and the gentleman used different envelopes and made sure the stamps on the back (as required by the passport office) don't rub on each other by placing spacers in between the photos. METICULOUS. Would definitely go back! Oh and I received a pen souvenir too!

Summary: Talented, friendly, staff; high quality equipment and photos; high speed results. I went here for my passport photos, so it was an easy item, but it was well done, very quickly and was given the correct official stamp. I also got a look at the studio and having done since photography myself I was impressed with the lights and the gear I saw. The display photos -and my photos- were high quality, both in how they were taken and how they were printed out. I will admit that the studio layout isn't the prettiest, some people might be disappointed that it is not sectioned off for the different backgrounds - however, I could see how those backgrounds would work to make the people posing in front of them stand out more - and it is the people in the portraits that is most important to see. Keeping that in mind I was still happy with the studio. The owner was nice and helpful. He answered the phone quickly and answered all of my questions easily. When I arrived there was a couple right ahead of me. He politely asked if I had time to wait outside (due to COVID group limitations) and then promptly helped the people ahead of me and got to my task in good time. I will be recommending Rosewood to people around - thank you!

My mother insisted that I must take my passport photos at Rosewood Photography since everyone is talking about how amazing it is. Instantly, as the door was opened we were greeted with the greatest warmth and smile from Mr. Azrahimi. I noticed that even though it's a busy business, all clients were admitted quickly, however, respectfully he allowed them to take their time to get ready and I'm very appreciative of such management skills as I'm 9 months pregnant. I also noticed that Mr. Azrahimi is very kind and patient with children, even though the children were being rude and disrespectful to their own mother, they loved Mr. Azrahimi and listened to him. Mr. Azrahimi has knowledge of every embassy's legal requirements regarding the photos which is a bonus. The pictures came out PERFECT, absolutely AMAZING. The photos taken were the BEST photos of myself ever taken and I'm not exaggerating. We value Mr. Azrahimi's amazing talent as the best photographer and considerate manner. I should mention that we tried London Drugs first which turned out to be a very bad experience with their system and staff. The London drug photo got rejected for passport! We have done our Santa photos with Rosewood two years in a row now and each time is the same fantastic experience. We happened to stumble across them last year on our way to a mall Santa so it worked out perfectly. They take multiple photos and have you pick the best. It's edited and printed professionally and full printable copies are sent to your email right away, all for $10. They are great people that produce great product. It is officially our tradition to go there. Mall Santa is huge lines which leads to cranky kids. Its way over priced. Not professionally edited or printed and is a huge hassle that takes up a full day. I strongly recommend using them.

Unfortunately the owner is very unprofessional. Hang up the phone and was extremely rude just because he felt I needed to be more grateful for his unsolicited advice. He needs to step up the game and understand he is not an immigration agent and that his advice can not be taken as the one coming from a professional. The pictures itself were well taken and fast to come out, unfortunately his lack of professionalism does not let his work shine trough. When I requested the PDF I found myself with his lack of unprofessionalism and arrogance . The service, efficiency & quality of the photos were excellent and after the photos were taken, he spent considerable time editing to ensure everything looked just right. I had my babies (4mth) passport picture taken at londondrugs and the passport office rejected the picture. I went to Rosewood and the picture was taken in less than 30 seconds with excellent quality. No need to say that the passport is good now! Thanks Rosewood!

Stopped in without an appointment to have a passport photo taken. Was stunned when I was led into a photography studio where I was seated on a stool in front of a white backdrop. Professional lights and screens to make sure that my photo was lit perfectly surrounded me. The way I was seated and the angle of my head were adjusted. Two pictures were taken of me with more adjustments made between each, in order to get the perfect shot. Honestly I have never ever experienced so much care given to any passport photo I have ever had taken. I honestly felt like I was in a photoshoot. It was incredible. Arash, the owner/photographer, then edited my photo to take out any imperfections on my face, to ensure my photo was flawless. Honestly, all of this for $11.20. I highly, highly recommend this photo studio for ALL your photography needs. Service and photos of the highest quality. Thanks Arash for such a great experience. I never thought I would ever be so happy with a passport picture!

My husband and I hired Arash for our wedding photo shoots, but unfortunately we didn’t have a positive experience. Arash’s work didn’t meet our expectations for various reasons. First of all, he was about 2 hours late! As a consequence, we missed the precious time of the daylight! More importantly, most of our wedding pictures are only focusing on us and the scenery around us, and sadly enough, we don’t have any portrait pictures. We don’t even have any pictures of our wedding dinner, desserts, tables, our rings and other details of our wedding. Every time I think about my wedding photos, I feel sad and disappointed that our wedding ceremony was not recorded as it should have been!
