The perfect place to go if you like poor customer experience!
First things first: the images are good and she makes the initial photo shoot a comfortable experience. Things turned south quickly after sending my payment via e-transfer. She failed to answer the security question on the e-transfer and we ended up being charged for the return. The answer to the security question was sent in an email after sending payment but she claims to have not received it. My question: why continue with random guesses to the question instead of contacting the sender? After confirming I sent the email, she agreed to reduce the amount of the payment by the cost of the charge for returned transfer. That's fine. Good business practice.
Now on to receiving the product: we were told the package would contain 5 prints -- we received 3. We were also told we would get a CD with all the originals -- she states her backups went missing and no longer has the photos. What kinda of a professional loses the originals and backups?
When asked why we didn't receive the images we were promised, she stated that we short changed her in the e-transfer, that it wasn't her fault for not seeing the email, and that she didn't owe us anything. This is very poor business conduct and I am sickened by the way she went about dealing with this situation; if you make a mistake, own it.
What makes me even more upset is that I offered to pick her up an Iced Cap from Tim Hortons since it was such hot day and her studio was very warm. She happily accepted my offer but insists that we pay an additional $2 for the missing prints we were told we would receive. TWO DOLLARS. The Iced Cap cost more than that.
I highly recommend avoiding this photo studio or, if you must go here, make sure you receive the final products before sending payment -- and perhaps pay in cash.
