You've come across Beautiful Life Studios, stop searching, HIRE THEM. I chose them based off of their portfolio. My fiance & I had a meeting with them and felt confident we found our perfect Wedding Photographer (Chris Conti). We went over our vision, we supplied references, everything went smooth then COVID-19 happened and we were forced to delay our wedding. BLS were very easy to work with and acted professional throughout the pandemic. We selected Chris + 1 assistant (highly recommended) to cover the entire day. If your choosing BLS for a wedding, get the ultimate coverage. Chris' assistant (Joleen who was also amazing) scouted locations for our First Look which matched our vision. They were COVID-19 friendly and added to our joy that day. Chris + Joleen were fun to be around while working hard and communicating creative ideas. They didn't rely on us to know exactly what we wanted. I'm clearly enjoying this rant/praisal of them. We filled out a questionnaire which included a list of absolute must have photos of this person. Chris continually said, preparation is the biggest factor. We LOVE our wedding photos. The price was incredible, and we have them for life. Beautiful life studios was the perfect choice for our wedding videography. Shyah, in particular was absolutely awesome, who is an overall, genuine and kind person. We did our research and looked into several companies, but beautiful life studios fit our exact requirements. On our wedding day, Shyah made each moment of shooting light and fun. While he was working hard capturing all of the amazing footage, he kept us laughing, as if we were a few friends hanging out on a very special day. When we received our video, we were amazed with the quality. The overall feel was exactly what we were looking for. The timing of the music, ceremony, speeches, and dancing flowed beautifully throughout the entire film. From customer service to true passion, professionalism and care, Beautiful Life Studios delivered in every way possible. We reached out to Jake last summer to obtain all of our options for our upcoming wedding in 2021. He met with us via zoom and spent the entire time listening and providing valuable information to get us on track for the big day. He sent through a quote later that day that reflected our request for Photo and Videography in a package that was very reasonably priced relative to the competition. Furthermore, we were given a chance to meet with our eventual photographer (Chris) and videographer (Rylan) before making any commitments to the contract. From there we were sold. Due to COVID restrictions, we needed to make some changes to our plan due to the size restrictions and venue change - Jake and the team were very flexible in making the adjustments both to our date and the amount of time we required for their services. On the day of our wedding we were met by Chris and Rylan, two gentlemen that provided a consistent vibe of positivity, professionalism and enthusiasm from the beginning to the end of our day. Not long after the day of our wedding we were given a one minute teaser that was well beyond our expectations, followed by an entire gallery of professionally edited photo's neatly organized in categories with quality that was unimaginable. A few days later we got the rest of our videos (highlights, ceremony and raw footage of the day). Absolutely magnificent. There is not a single complaint about BLS, we will most certainly be using them for all of our events moving forward and will be recommending them to anyone looking for video/photo service with a unique of vibe. BLS didn't just provide us a service, they provided us with an experience, one that we are absolutely grateful for, and one that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. My husband and I live in Edmonton but we're originally from Vancouver so, that's where we decided to get married (October 2019). We were seeking out a videographer located in Vancouver but being in Edmonton, had to meet and do most of the wedding planning remotely. Beautiful Life Studios (BLS) came up on our radar and we had an initial meeting with Enrique who was very professional, easy-going, and enthusiastic about being a part of our special day. He took care of working with our photographer (from a different company) and on the day of, went above and beyond to make the overall experience for us so enjoyable. Finally, the video itself, it's absolutely everything we could have hoped for and more. Both my husband and I were so glad that we went with BLS and can't say enough great things about Enrique and his assistant.

We had our wedding on Oct 1, at VanDusen Botanical Garden, near the Meadow Pond. The wedding took place around 1pm, and our photographer was Jake Michael. Before I go into that, a little something about me. I don't like getting my pictures taken. I don't like smiling. I don't like gathering.. (but I love my wife because she'll be reading this.) Prior to the photoshoot, I was very stressed because I didn't know what to expect, and I thought I wasn't going to have a good time. I was so wrong. Also I've never been so happy that I'm wrong. :) Jake arrived a bit earlier, and we had some chitchat before the wedding so everyone got comfortable. He's professional, courteous, and he put everyone at ease. He was also one of the few people who complimented me that day! Passersby would tell my wife how amazing she looked, and would then jokingly (or not) tell me, "and you look okay too." Jake was very good with his directing. How we should walk, where we put our hands, where we look, and more importantly he kept reminding us to have fun. And we did. We had so much fun, the 3 hours went by so quickly, and we felt like it just started. Jake took so many details into consideration. We had a zoom session prior to the shoot to go over what we wanted to accomplish. During the shoot, he made sure to capture the fall atmosphere and more importantly all the joy that came with it. Every time we looked at the pictures we feel like we were reliving that moment just a little bit. We really thank Beautiful Life Studio for this wonderful experience of a lifetime. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

After countless hours of research, scrolling through thousands of photos and watching hundreds of videos, we ended up choosing to work with beautiful life for our wedding photography and videography. We booked the team for 12 hours including a same day edit video and it was the best decision ever. You get more than what you pay for and what you're paying for is priceless! Don't pinch pennies on your special day because it could make a world of a difference. Book them quick as we booked them a year in advance and they only had a few slots left at the time of our booking. The end product was very important to us, but what is equally important is the team that you will be working with on one of the most stressful and hectic days of your life. Shiyah and Kathleen are some of the nicest people who are humble and wizards of their craft. They captured the candid moments perfectly but also gave us gentle directions for more artistic shots. We truly enjoyed our time together and everyone at the wedding (especially our family) kept on mentioning how dedicated, professional and respectful they are. They made our day so easy! Our day had a bit of rain, but their process ensured we were prepared for the worst. They genuinely care to get to know what your ideas are, what you are looking for and takes careful measures to ensure everyone looks perfect. My dress was barely dirty even though we shot some scenes in the rain and they were very efficient with their cameras. We are still amazed at how the same day edit video turned out!! I posted some bits from the teaser photos they sent here. These were sent just days after the wedding. If you end up booking them, treat them well and feed them well!!

I'm not one to post online reviews but this company deserves to be praised. Beautiful life studios did the photography and videography for our wedding and they did such an amazing job. Jake and Amelia were so passionate and enthusiastic throughout the process. They made us feel comfortable, kept everything on time, and got lots of great shots. Shyah is an editing wizard. Watching our video back it feels like he knew exactly who we are as a couple to edit it the way he did, even though he only met us once. I also truly appreciate his patience in making small revisions to the video to get it just right for my whole family to enjoy. I can't thank them enough for preserving the memories of our wedding in such a beautiful way. They were worth every penny.

My husband and I contacted Beautiful Life Studios with only 8 weeks noticed of our wedding date in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Feeling anxious and disappointed that we had to cancel our original plan of getting married in Greece, we didn't know what to expect next and were hoping that BLS would be able to make something work for us as we started planning a second wedding from scratch. They responded back to our inquiry right away and completely eased our minds with the exciting news that they would be able to offer their videography services for our wedding. They empathized with our situation and did everything they could to make our new ceremony as memorable as possible. Each step along the way they were professional, open and creative. They met with us prior to get a full sense of the vision we had for our big day as well as how we wanted it to be captured. We also completed a detailed questionnaire which gave ample opportunities to share more ideas to create a unique and personal video for us. On the day of the wedding, the videographers Jake Michael (& partner) arrived on time and were ready to get to work as soon as they arrived. They gave direction to my husband and I and our wedding party to ensure we got some amazing shots and they also let us just be us. It was the perfect amount of capturing moments without us even realizing they were there while at the same time still offering their expertise where needed. They also did an EXCELLENT job working alongside a separate photographer who was quite particular in the shots and angles she wanted to get. They were respectful and flexible and worked very well adapting to her requests. We truly can not say enough great things about this company and the videographers we had the pleasure of interacting with. They were affordable, professional, creative and brought a fun and positive energy with them! And most importantly, they created videos that left us in tears of joy as we relived our special day. If you are on the fence of getting a videographer for your wedding, I would say hands down it was the best money we spent on our special day and to absolutely book it!
