Pros: Great service, great selection of props and backgrounds, great photo quality Cons: extremely expensive for one photo ($100), staff didn’t seem to ensure the “best” possible photo (example: my child’s pant leg was visible under his costume and a wall plug was visible in a “pre electricity” era photo. Also, they kept forcing my son to wear a hat when I kept saying I didn’t want him wearing a hat). That said, they did an excellent job overall.

While I love the photos I got and they provide. The customer service was not the best. The girls were not friendly at all. In fact, they made it so obvious they didn't want to be there (was a couple hours before closing) anymore, it became awkward. Hence the stars rating.

Layout is amazing, concept is amazing, service is so/so we were very rushed, didn’t like any of the photos a lot my sons eyes were closed or mine but had to purchase package anyways. $81 for 1 picture.

Picture turned out very well, lots of options for scenes and outfits, but staff seemed disorganized, were unpleasant, and had poor communication as to where to go, what to do, etc. The process of getting dressed and taking the photos felt rushed and awkward... bored staff members watching with bored faces, there was no enthusiasm for their job. Yes it is expensive, but it is a cool keepsake to have. 2 stars because service needs improvement.

The prices are a bit high for family photos, but considering the fact they include costumes and props I would consider it a good value. You could tell that the staff was very busy, but they were very efficient and helpful. My daughter is already planning what scene she wants to do on our next visit.

It's loads of fun!! There are many choices of time periods to choose to dress up in, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is fun, and it's an amazing souvenir! I have already gone twice and plan to go again!

Thisnis a fun place to go. We went for the first time and were expected to know what we wanted etc. We were not given much direction or time to consider and it was very expensive. However the pics did turn out awesome and next time perhaps will.be better now that I know what we are doing

I dont even want give this place any stars because I never got yo experience it. I drove all the way from Nova Scotia to have pictured taken only to read a sign on the door to say closed for 2020. Their website doesn't say they are closed.

This experience was a lot of fun for our family. Yes, it's pricey, but the staff is really well organized, the costumes and props are awesome and the quality of the photos was good. Definitely recommend!!!

Working here for the past five years has given me some of the best experiences of my life! Meeting people from all over the world and getting to help them create memories is absolutely priceless. I would highly recommend coming to Grandpa's for any occasion! Some people argue that the prices are "too expensive," but I can genuinely attest to the fact that the staff are professional, friendly, and compassionate. The work that goes into creating these photos is much more than meats the eye. At the end of the day, can you really even put a price on a fun experience and authentic memories? Hope you all enjoy! Now that I am no longer a staff member, I can certainly say that I will be back as a customer in summers to come.

(Translated) Very nice place to take old photos, real scenery lots of period costumes ranging from baby to adults and even your pet can be part of the picture. By cons the wait is long but guaranteed to go out with very beautiful photos. (Original) Très belle place pour prendre de vieille photos, de vrai décors beaucoup de costumes d'époque allant de bébé à adultes et même votre animal de compagnie peux faire parti de la photo. Par contre l'attente est longue mais assuré d'y sortir avec de très belle photos.

Great pictures, but outrageous prices. Copies are a fortune, and if you want more than just one version of one photo... And they do not give the digital files, only prints. Service is good, costumes are nice. Just wish the prices were more reasonable.
