She is undoubtedly an earth-bound angel, whose work, dedication, persona, creativity, and sheer work ethic are what keep me wanting to work and collaborate with Robyn. She has worked some miracles, let me tell you. Her work is stunning (without even needing to say it,) and she makes the entire process of photo planning, day-of photography, fun, energetic, and she is reliable without question. She communicates extremely well, is humble, extremely giving of herself, and I want you (Robyn) to know how much I appreciate and value all that you do. This was our first family photoshoot and I had booked one of Robyn's special holiday mini sessions with our then 3 month old. I was a 25-30 minute booking and I remember thinking 'well at least if I get 1 good picture it will be worth it!' Well, boy was I wrong! Robyn didn't even use the whole time with us because our little one started to get a bit fussy after 15 minutes. I was shocked to see how many amazing photos she had managed to capture in what was only minutes! I had so many beautiful photos to choose from, and couldn't have been happier! Not only that but Robyn is such a lovely person to deal with and is so prompt in her communication you wonder when she sleeps! I highly recommend her services, you wont be disappointed!

Our wedding day was a day of chaos and love. And Robyn captured the love. My dream was to be married outside but in the 11th hour as the rain came down in torrents and the wind blew, that dream needed to be re-imagined. I wanted the “perfect” day. But what I got was so much more. Robyn came along side us and was sure to capture the true emotions of the day. That girl is magic with the camera, I tell you. Almost 1,000 photos, some even outside and you couldn’t even tell that we were in the midst of a thunderstorm. And when the sun finally did poke through the clouds for a brief moment, off she went immortalizing all of our guests as they ate sundaes and play life-sized games of Jenga and Connect Four. What I love the most about Robyn S. Russell is her ability to take a photo and by doing so tell a story. She was sincere, supportive and many times, she helped this bride navigate the day and focus on the love and commitment. She reminded us that there was much to celebrate. She was also very respectful of our family and guests. She dealt with different faiths, different cultures, and different languages with such dignity that it made it easy for everyone to open up to her. Robyn set the tone of the portraits; they were not formal, posed, or prescriptive. Rather, Robyn’s take was personal, intimate, and natural. Robyn provided us with photos of our wedding day that shut out the rain, and highlighted the beauty of our covenant. We are over the moon. We know that these photos will grace the walls of our home and hopefully one day provide a fairy tale of a story to share with our children.
