They provided a class picture if the 2018 Algonquin Public School grade 7 class that is so grainy you can hardly tell who's who. The old class pictures from the 1980's are better images. Wouldn't recommend.

This company has turned off their phone lines and can only be reached by email only. This in itself is a sign of unprofessionalism in my opinion. Like many other customers, I have sent several emails to them regarding an issue and received no response. They justify this by saying "our response times may be slightly longer than usual" It is interesting that there is a delay in responding to emails, but there is no delay in charging your credit card for the fee.

Terrible website with clunky and poorly designed user interface for ordering online. Doesn't seem to work well with Firefox. Edge Imaging won't "ship free to school" where I live so we're being charged an additional $12.00 to have our son's photos shipped. My daughter's photos were shipped "free to school" and she lives with us in the very same city but goes to a different school. Explain that Edge Imaging. Update: October 23, 2020 Just tried to order my son's school photos and had another miserable experience with Edge Imaging and its website. First the site required me to create a new password when I logged in even though I knew my old password and it worked fine. Why did it do this? Who knows! Then when I tried to pay for my order it rejected my credit card and asked me to call "customer service." My wife tried her credit card and it was declined, too!!! She was also referred to "customer service." There's nothing wrong with either of our credit cards and to prove it I went to another site and made a purchase without a problem. I called "customer service" and the pleasant sounding woman who answered offered to take my order over the phone which I wasn't interested in doing. I asked to speak to someone who could explain why I couldn't order online but apparently the "finance department" was too busy to talk and the IT department was working from home. So no school photos this year for my family and likely never again as long as the school district does business with them.

Edge has provided beautiful photos of our kids for a number of years. This year was the same, but it's the service and ease of ordering that really helped us this year. My 13 year old son received and lost his grade 8 photos (grad photos) before he even left the school. I reached out to Edge and they helped me find the order and get the photos, which look amazing and I was able to take advantage of their retouching service.

I put in an order many weeks ago and still don't have my son's school photos. I called to find out why. They said they had a day without power and have had other technical difficulties. I asked why I didn't get any notification of the delays "we don't do that". I asked for a reimbursement "if you send us back the package we will reimburse you". I have NEVER delt with such poor customer service. They then offered to send extra sheets via courier. I asked why they didn't do that weeks ago with my photos that I still don't have? "We send all of the photos to each school all at once." I understand how this would make sense if everything was running smoothly and on time. Walmart gives a full reimbursement if you don't have your photos in 7 days. I will be asking our school to consider getting a different company for next year. This is ridiculous. So much for sending out my Christmas cards with photos this year!!

I bought digital version of my son's portrait photo thinking I will get an instant download via email. It turned out they send the code via Canada post (yes, snail mail) printed on a piece of paper and it takes 4 weeks if you are too cheap to pay for the shipping. In this digital age this is totally unthinkable and ridiculous. I hope his school will go back using Lifetouch instead next year.

The red spot near the nose of my son could have been removed very quickly and easily. But 35$ is not enough for company to provide a quality service. They wanted 8$ extra for 30 second work. Do they earn a good client for life? Guess not. Probably they care for money more than for service that they provide. So many pictures that they didn't care to easily fix.

The worst photos ever! They are super dark and blurry. They are not professional at all. My niece's school has another photography company and her photos are beyond beautiful. So perfect, the shapness, the brightness, the saturation, etc. This is my daughter's first year of school and I had no experience when it comes to buying the school photos. I decided to buy them and I regret it. They are extremely expensive too!! The re-take photos are a joke. They only take 1 photo!

School Photos: $12 for one 8x10 photo + $10 shipping + taxes. I think the digital was $22. Photo's are not exceptional either. Last year's order was misleadingly represented on the site. This year, we'll take our own photos and get a print at walmart for $2.17 p/8x10.

This “edge imaging” is new to the school this year.. I am EXTREMELY unimpressed. Not only did they only send one photo to chose from, but they didn’t pay attention to the photos they took. Didn’t notice one had their eyes closed, the JK’er had his tongue out.. no other options, no say on when retakes are either.. teachers are left in the dark. There has been no resolutions, no apologies.. not even a response. Edit to add: ** I have contacted this company many times with again- no resolutions, no apologies; I don’t have time to wait hours on the phone to get through to someone** New edit. ** Still nothing fixed or done.. stay far away from this company. I personally don’t think they should be in schools let alone taking photos of children. I have seen better quality photos taken with a cell phone than what I had got home. Completely unacceptable from a company who claims “Edge has already created a legacy for delivering exceptional photography products and a great customer experience.” !

Edge Imaging came to my school graduation photos and I DID NOT HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE. When I had to put on the grad cap for the photo, I had a hard time putting it on and the photographer kept watching me being helpless. She did not even offer a mirror so that I could see what I was doing. And the mirror was right beside her on the table. I did not appreciate the fact that the photographer did not tell me that my hair was messed up from putting the cap on. It was only until I got to my car that I notice my messed up hair, but by then it was too late. One thing that especially ticked me off was that she kept sighing when I couldn't put the cap on. I was surprised that she didn't even offer to at least give me a mirror. Since grad photos are something that you want to look back at. You want to look your best. I am extremely unhappy that the photos that were taken were poorly done and are going to end up in my schools yearbook and on the walls of my school forever. I also am disappointed that I spent money on fresh cut flowers for the purpose of the photoshoot as my prop and it was another waste of money that went into the trash. If you are willing to put up with their poor quality service and spend your money on go ahead and use them to take your photos. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service, the photographers, and the value for the quality of photos. Honestly, if I had the opportunity, I WOULD HAVE HIRED A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER, who could take decent photos. For the price of $35 it is NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! I could just take it myself or ask a friend to take it. I would gladly spend $100 or more with a professional, who knows what they are doing and can take multiple photos with nice views and not just the few with a boring backdrop. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND paying them to take your school portrait photos. It's NOT ONLY this time that I had bad experiences, but a COUPLE OTHER TIMES.

After years of casually dealing with increasing prices for smaller and smaller photos, Edge Imaging finally lost me when it was time to take grade 12 grad photos. Each student could have 10 pictures done for the base price. Of those 10, they would have to choose between the first 2 for the yearbook. Admittedly, both pictures looked pretty bad, but 1 was certainly better than the other. When she asked which one I preferred, I replied "1", because it looked the best to me. She then replied with "Well I get judged on my work, so I think you should go with the 2nd picture" and would not allow me to choose the pictures that I wanted. I expected more from such a reputable company, but I guess we are all just dollar signs to them

Our school has been using Edge Imaging for over 8 years. They come in as a very professional team and handle all our school photos and Grad photos. In 8 years we have never had a complaint, concern or issue which is impressive considering the volume of student photos they take, a true testament to quality customer service. Our main contact has been Aaron Johnson. Aaron is a strong leader of his team and any special requests we make are always handled with ease and efficiency. Photographer clearly was looking to get the job done quick. I’ve done this job before, there’s no excuse why you can’t re take the photo besides you were being rushed to finish. Actually provide the service you’re contracted for or don’t. Photos from these school companies are already a rip off for the quality they provide, when you can’t even spend the time to get a child’s smile, I don’t know why you’re wasting school time and efforts at all.

I think the mark of a great company is the customer service they give. It was totally not their fault but Canada Post folded the envelope of my son's pictures into too small a box and in doing so creased several of the pictures. I called in and Kim could NOT have been more pleasant or helpful in resolving the issue to my absolute delight. Our son's graduation photos are a one time thing and helping to make it right is something that Edge Imaging understands. Having to deal with crazy parents all day long must take someone very special but again, Kim ruled the day. Well done!

FALSE ADVERTISING in regards to "Satisfaction Guarantee". Our twins are part of the first grade 8 class to EVER graduate from Queensdale Public school in Hamilton. The kids had their grad pictures taken through Edge Imaging, and one of the twins looked "constipated" (as if he was coming out of a smile) in all four photos? The kids mentioned that they were waiting for the photographer to say "smile" but no one said anything..I noticed on the proofs package that there was a "retake day". I emailed Edge to see when they would be returning to the school and was told that there are no retakes at the school and I would have to drive to the studio if retakes were required?!? The school had nothing to do with the reason retakes were cancelled, that was left up to Edge Imaging to decide.. The kids have had the past 4 years of school pictures taken with Edge and we were left disappointed every year in regards to no retakes? I strongly suggest to anyone who would consider coming here to go elsewhere so you will not be disappointed in "quality of guarantee".

1. The "personalized" code to view/ shop for my kid's photo is ridiculously long and makes the whole task of having to look up their photos tedious 2. You'd think with the money they're saving from printing paper that they'd be able to lower the prices instead of charging you $30 ($33.90 with tax) for DIGITAL prints. 3. To add insult to injury, the packaged photo "deals" come with sizes and a calendar you don't really need and all start at $50. 4. I called your 1-888 number THREE times today and each time waited about 15 minutes before I had to get off the phone and call at a later time (11AM, 2:30PM and 4:30PM). No one picked up. 5. I put in a request for a call-back and still have not heard back. 6. If you have backed up calls since 3 weeks ago (I can see that has been your excuse from your responses from complaints 3 weeks ago) then you need to hire someone who can answer the phones or at least do a recording letting people know of higher than normal wait times. Also, if it's been going on for 3 weeks or more, it's become "normal" now and you should be able to do something about it. Especially if you are charging families $30 for a digital print. 7. You are a greedy, money-hungry business preying on the sentimental value that a child's school picture has for families. Way to exploit the kids. 8. I ordered my $30 digital prints this morning and still haven't received them. 9. I also registered for an account and had to wait for a verification email. It's been more than 6 hours since I registered and I still haven't received a verification email so I had to complete my purchase as a guest. My purchase that I still haven't received... 10. I will be making a complaint to my son's school council to go with a different vendor moving forward. I'd rather do paper orders than have to go through this again and pay ridiculous amounts of money for poor service.

Very expensive with limited backgrounds! Only one pose with an ugly royal blue background. $15 for 1 8x10! This year I am very disappointed with my son's school photo. They don't even provide a free class photo. Lifetouch School Portraits are so much better and cheaper! Update 2019: I still find their packages expensive with limited backgrounds for magnets. Also they took my son’s student I.D. card photo and it was terrible. The photographer just snapped and go without proofing it. I refuse to order photos from this company. Wish my kids school’s would use Lifetouch.

Has to be the worst ordering system I've ever dealt with. Every time I've tried to order pictures the site just continues to load. Takes about 10 mins or so to get to check out. I was just trying to order another set of pictures and unable to check out. I'm still waiting for one of my other kids pictures that I ordered November 1st .

I just received my daughter's school photos for 2014. Her 2013 photos were also done by Edge Imaging and we were completely satisfied with the quality of them. This year, however, the gloss paper makes them seem like something I could have printed off at home. The prints do not have the quality I expected from last year's experience. I am also slightly disappointed in the photographer's ability to catch at least a semi-natural pose. All of the poses had goofy smiles and hair was a bit messy. Last year's photographer seemed to take more care in the subjects' appearance & was able to elicit a more natural smile.

Horrible experience.. the kids are rushed in and out so fast they don't have time to smile or get set. This is not the normal way this company takes pictures, I hope it was just the one time. My son sample came in, and he wasn't smiling. So we did retakes,,, he got to smile this time. He almost did not get to take pictures, because he goes to school late and they have a time frame when kids go. The photographer would not take his picture out of order. I had to call the school, so they would tell the photographer to take the pictures. Also,, you order a packet with the kids name on it,, and only a few pictures get the name added,, most of them are the small ones. They are good pictures,, but very expensive... what other choice does the school offer. We finally ordered our pictures,, and several of them are messed up. They put his grade as 1 and he is in grade 12. They did not print his School correctly They mixed his pictures up, so the calendar is different. they printed the original photo with him not smiling. I have sent several email, and no response. I have tried calling, and nobody answers.

Edge Imaging had some of the worst photographers I have ever met. My school held a photo day with them and the picture I received was utterly TERRIBLE. All my friends didn't like their pictures and we hated the fact that we had to pay extra to get them retaken. I wish I could give this review half a star but...it's not an option.

I would like to say that in school picture days, they do not let you see the picture that is taken. Also you guys need to higher better photographers because some of the employees you have seem like they have zero photography experience and only seem "professional". I have seen some of the photos of myself and friends, they seem to put zero effort into making the person looking good. At the end of the day, I would not recommend higher this company.

I don't know why the school board chose this company for taking my younger brother's grade 8 grad photos, everything about the service was low quality and unprofessional. Their online booking system gives no email confirmations about your appointment, they don't take phone calls (they only have an email address), they don't respond to emails even though I sent several, the actual photoshoot was unprofessional (e.g. they give no guidance to the person getting their photo taken, they don't let you look in a mirror to fix your appearance, etc.), and they took 3 months to send us the pictures (and only after I emailed them multiple times to remind them).

So I originally had a very bad review on here because I had a terrible experience with them at 1st. Not only was the slightly overly priced cup smashed when I got it but the prints that they sent 3 weeks ago never got here. When I called it seemed like they weren't going to do anything to help my situation and because it being so close to Christmas,I didn't even think they could. However, to my very pleasent surprise not only did the new cup get here before Christmas but they sent the pics with priority shipping (at their cost)so they would get here on time and they got her in just 2 days so I could still use them for presents. Thank you very much for fixing both issues in a timely fashion I honestly appreciate it ! Review fixed ! Lol

100% disappointed in the new format they went to for the class picture. Why did you move away from giving an actual photo? Who's brilliant idea was it to move to a black background? For the amount of money that we pay for these photos, this is disappointing.

EDIT: Thanks for the copy paste response. After calling the customer service line I was offered to go to some random school a 1+ hour commute from my house for a retake. While the retake is being offered for free, I have massive doubts. After checking out the checkout screen I was disgusted to see how inflated the pricing of a single photo being printed for me at a tiny size would cost nearly 40 dollars on top of the 35$ photo session with a 10 minute time limit with a photographer that didnt allow any fixes and acted extremely rude. I guess parents are desperate for grad photos compared to the around 20$ yearly photos so they charge as much as possible. I can't believe the TDSB employs this fraud of a company. Now here is my original review: After not receiving an email for grad photos even though I registered. Many weeks later I finally got an admittance staff to push me in as the first photo of the day for grad photos. During the session the person taking my photos was pretty rude to me. Consistently acting like I was a burden on them despite me doing nothing out of the ordinary. The way they spoke to me was close to demeaning and I had barely said a word to them. Even saying "I gotta get you out quick since you haven't paid" despite the fact im paying when an email gets sent to me for payment. Whenever I was told to smile they took the photo a half second later, giving me very little time to do the simple action. Most of the photos I saw seemed as if they were half smiles taken early. Overall I believe that this monopoly service has to much weight in the TDSB and because of that they can afford to give bottom tier service. My quick rushed <10 minute photo session is going to cost $35 yet it should probably cost somewhere closer to $0 for the kind of service they give you.

I originally had by appointment booked for June 3rd (paid $30 for the sitting) , but it had to be rescheduled due to the extended lockdown. They were supposed to provide me a link within a couple of days of the announcement, but I never got it so I emailed them. I had sent SEVERAL emails to their customer service (as their phone lines are off), and only got back one email 2 weeks after my initial email. By the time I received the link to reschedule, all of the slots were booked. The customer service from this company has been absolutely horrendous and has caused unnecessary stress for several graduating students. I do not recommend this company to ANYONE.

Truth is HARD to accept but it is what it is... Facts... Expensive packages & add ons. Good way of exploiting childhood emotions. Not much options of selection for people with low budget. The least they could have done is...A CD of all photos in it at a nominal price. Hope someday some one will solve this.

Hate the fact that you pay triple the price for graduation photos because they know every parent wants one and of course they give you 7 poses to choose from, with the best deal at $289.00, who needs a deal! :/ but still ordering takes 4 to 6 weeks! Unreal!!!

Overpriced and have no business ethics. It states on the order form that ordering by a certain date qualifies you for FREE shipping to the school however, with schools closed due to Covid, they are passing that cost onto the consumer. It seems that an ethical company would understand that it is beyond the consumer's control and find a way to forgo that extra cost. Of course the schools being closed is not the real reason because I tried to order my photos before the shutdown and it was the same thing. When I spoke to a CSR, (after 25+ minutes on hold listening to the repetitive message droning on about what a great company they are), she was dismissive and unapologetic, claiming that schools were not receiving packages right now - they are, I work at one and we get them every day. I will be honest, I was already not a fan of this company as I have experienced them in the school system and as a parent, but I bit the bullet and paid way too much for mediocre photos for my child's sake. I think that is what they count on, parents' desires to do good by their kids and pressure to have their school photos. It's shameful. I would rather pay a professional photographer twice the price, at least I know they take pride in what they do and care about the costumer. And, $25 for a keychain - seriously?

I'm really shocked at how expensive it is to get a school photo of your child through this company. Especially ridiculous is the extra $8.00 or $12.00 they try to get you to spend to 'retouch' the photo. Shouldn't it be professional quality in the first place? Needless to say I will not be buying any photos but am disappointed that the District School Board is using an outfit that is so blatantly making a huge profit off parents who are watching every dollar.

As of 2019 there are wallet sized photos (1.5x2.5) with only 1 package!! They only have the 'jumbo wallet' 2.5x3.5 with all the others. I have a frame that has every school year photo and it takes normal wallet size. So I'm short 1 Gr. 12 photo. Also no ability to just order a sheet of normal wallet sized photos. Great Job Edge!!

It has been almost a month and my order still hasn't arrived (it was estimated to be delivered in 10 days.) I tried reaching out multiple times both though phone calls and the email messages on their website, but no one got back to me. I stayed on the line for thirty minutes without anyone picking up, and there's still no reply to any of my messages after a week. Very unprofessional and disappointing. They reply to negative reviews on here but not customers who need help. I don't think I will ever get the photos or my money back.

They take weeks to respond to emails. I sent over 5 of the same issue. They promised a digital free print for May 24 weekend if I made a purchase and never received it in time to post it. You can't call them only email. Bad customer service for the amount they charge.

To allow parents to download the digital photos, I ordered it via their website. I thought I would get the photos right after making the payment, but unfortunate it hasn't happened from 4 days of payment. Left the message multiple times via their customer service page, no response. Tried to call their number, no response. Some of the suggestions: 1) IT improvements: making photo download automatically 2) response to the calls and emails and online message asap to avoid any negative feedback which can impact your reputation a lot. 3) email campaign: setup email alerts to the clients if your team is facing any challenge, i.e. managing clients' expectations. 4) setup a notice from your website.

Horrible pics and service! Every year the pics take forever to come and they look like they rushed through taking the pics. This year for grad pics I was mortified with the ones they took. Not to mention they say 4-6 weeks for delivery and we are now on week 7 and still no pics. Customer service says they shipped them via Canada Post on Mar 11th and it's now March 26th - NEVER EVER EVER in my entire life has anything within Canada ever taken 12 days for delivery through Canada Post.

I had ordered my school photos from edge imaging and was at first a little disappointed. They had said that the photos would arrive within 4 - 6 weeks, but 2 mouth later, when I still hadn't received my photos, I gave them a phone call describing my situation. They apoligized and said they would resolve the problem. About a week later I got my photos with about 50 more prints that were all free of charge! I was very impressed with the way they handeld my situation and would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

The variety of poses taken was enough to make it very hard to choose. They had the photos still available online almost five months later. This was a great benefit, because we had to save up until we could afford to purchase what we wanted! We didn't have to miss out on memories of that special day because we couldn't buy them at that time. Received proofs of my daughter's photo and I am less then impressed with it. What a drab looking picture and my daughter does not want to do a retake! Her previous school used Life Touch and they used to do a stellar job. I was told the picture was taken after recess which sounded ridiculous to me, but then I saw Edge Imaging offers a touch up service for a premium price which mentions even getting rid of food stains. They also do not have Paypal as mode of payment, how archaic. I wish her school would employ someone who actually knows how to do their job!! In the mean time I have to content myself with a meh picture!!

Poor customer service, rushed my grade 12 grad photos and my friends too. Also wanted to mention that they blamed us for them not taking their own breaks, causing us to be rushed and not getting the full grad photo experience. In addition, they insulted me when they had me follow confusing instructions and asked in a rude tone if i’m in grade 12 when I couldn't get the pose down perfectly. Well obviously I am, that's why I had the cap and gown. Very disappointed with the customer service, and i'm glad this is the last year i'll ever have to deal with them.

Their photographers qualification just keep on getting worse than ever. I have not purchased school photos of my kids from their school for the past couple of years. The photos quality is so terrible!!! Given one star is because there's no thumb down. Despite they get pricier, the photographer just so sloppy. My kids photos come home with awkward smile, strand of hair hang right in front of the forehead, or eyes are closed .. etc. All the photo shoots seem rush, somehow they dare to charge $95 for 3 sheets of photo (2 X 8"X 10" and 1 sheet of 5"X7")??!! What a shame!! Tbh, I feel like they completely take their job with the school board for granted. Parents are left with no choice to make a difficult decision to purchase expensive but unsatisfied photos of their children because that's their precious milestone photos (graduation) =( Make parents wonder how did they get their contract with the school board for declining quality of products. This is suppose be a professional service. Big disappointment, smh. I saw a parent review mentioned the previous school photo company, Life Touch!! They take fabulous photos. We used to excited about getting school photos. Now, we even consider taking my kids to other photo shoot place to retake their grad photos, even Walmart take better quality photos cost much less.

Recently my daughter graduated and we were offered grad pictures. Wanting one badly but not wanting to pay the majorly inflated prices we purchased one 8x10 pic. IT COST $37!!! Ok...fine, but they charged us $15 shipping for something they put in the mail (NOT UPS or any other service), just plain old Canada Post, $15.....EDGE IMAGING is the company and they are crooks!!!!!!!!! It cost $57 for one picture! Today I took the picture I bought to Walmart and got 9 wallets, 2 5x7 and 4 4x6 pics and paid $6.71. They are fantastic quality and only cost $6.71!!! This would have cost $100 with this Edge Imaging.....I understand that they have to make money but this mark-up is disgusting. The fact that parents buy these pics every school year makes me ill. This company should be boycotted!

Photo quality is good, but terrible customer service. We were missing a part of our order and called customer service to follow-up. They indicated the photos had printed...no apologies or recognition of error, but agreed to send them out on our next school shipment (which would be weeks away). When I questioned this method and asked if they could be shipped immediately to our house since the original photo shipment already took 2 months, the service rep said no and hung up on me. Edge Imaging has been coming to my school for years, and I've been somewhat satisfied with the quality of my school photos. However, when my mother decided to purchase the deluxe graduation package, I expected Vintage Hollywood and casual shoots in addition to the standard shoots. Instead of the 20 mixed shots I wished to purchase, the photographer who came to my school gave me 20 shots, all in gown and cap. Additionally, the photographs are unflattering, and there was no opportunity to retake. I would high recommend against purchasing anything but the basic package, as it seems that's all you will get no matter what you pay for. What a waste.

NEVER GET PHOTOS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Not only poor quality photos, horrible customer service, and poor quality prints, they STILL have their phone lines turned off despite the province being in Stage 3 lockdown. I placed my order at the beginning of December, I called twice to confirmed everything was okay. They said yes. I waited a month and did not received my pictures. I called then and was told they could not see my order. I placed the order again. I wait 1 month and no pictures again. I called again and was told the pictures where returned because the address was incorrect! Each time I called I make sure my home adress was correct with them! I am very upset about this service.....I am still waiting. UPDATE : Finally I got my pictures and still the had the wrong address. It was delivered by a stranger who open the envolpe by mistake and recognize one of my kids in the pictures and was very kind of her to take the time and deliver herself the pictures. I've had two bad experience out of two with this company. At photo day at school all the photographers seemed to not put any effort into the photos. When I got my photo package they were super zoomed out, we were able to request a second package and saw the cropped version before it was sent. This cropped version (done exactly to our instructions) was good, however when the new package arrived it didn't contain the new photos. Called again and another women said she'd send out another package, it's been weeks and the package hasn't come. Edge imagine is also doing my schools grad photos. Before hand it was very hard to find information, and the day of service was terrible. I will admit I was ten minutes late, but as a high school grad schools busy and I couldn't leave class. I was told I couldn't be servered and would have to reschedule. I begged and tried to reason (I'd spent time and money getting ready and needed my photo) only then was i offered a slot later in the day. The lady was rude and I ended up crying and in reply she told me that they could do it over her lunch but she's hungry. As someone whose job revolves around guest experience I was shocked. If a costumer is upset you should work to please them, and they're always right. Blame shouldn't be put on a paying costumer nor should there be rudeness and mal treatment. Even my teacher was upset when I returned to class and insisted that she return to talk to the lady with me again. Once again we were treated like nuisances. I am now afraid to go to my appointment, however am glad that after a phone call to head office was given an apology and told that I hadn't done anything wrong.

Paid 55$ for the package, got pictures with bent corners plus none the pictures were cut on the outside borders nor cut out to singles. Emailed them, and described the situation. Few days later i got an email saying that all my pictures will be reprinted and cut "even though we don't provide these services". What am i supposed to with these jig saw puzzles? Cut them out with scissors? Today i received the replacements. I received more pictures than i asked and paid for - i guess they tried to make up for the first screw up. Well, almost all of the pictures have a white tiny border on each side (random), didn't the person cutting these see it? Cuts were not done on a professional guilotine and are dull with small particles of paper sticking on sides. Few pictures have corners bent. Bottom line, as much as i wanted to give them a good review(4 stars) because of their second effort and a chance to fix it, i am going to give them only one star, based on my experience i WILL NEVER use their services again. For what they are providing to parents for the amount of money paid, it is not a professional service. In my eyes they have failed. From now on i will only get the classroom picture.

Taking school pictures started promptly right when the school day started, and from there it was a breeze. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly; making sure everyone got their picture taken in a timely manner, while also double checking everyone's picture each time to make sure everyone looked good. Also, as someone interested in cameras and such, the staff was willing to answer any questions I had about their cameras and setup and such. This whole session worked out well.

I was supposed to get my Grade 12 graduation pictures done here on June 15th, 4:05 pm after it was rescheduled on short notice. I got to the location only to be told by two workers there that no photos had been taken since the lockdown in April and that no one was even in the building. They seemed upset about it too, apologized, and they made sure that I could still get my photos by making a call for me and finding out where they were doing them. Turns out I was one of the many who were mislead and led to the location for photos that weren't even happening. Without notice, the company moved the photo location to my school and DID NOT EMAIL TO CONFIRM THIS AT ALL WITH ME! As I had booked it originally AT the studio, not my school (since I was a remote learner). I was confused and annoyed as I had to drive back. Luckily, I was able to get to my school just in time and have my photos taken by two professional and very kind women (who also apologized, thank you to those four workers!). The communication between the company and workers don't seem strong, as even they are confused just as much as I was. They should not be apologizing, because it is the companies fault. If you make changes to student photos, dates and or location, it is YOUR job to inform them of such. To all the other graduates who received poor photos or service, just know you worked very hard this year. That photo can't capture your perseverance and hard work. I will not be returning at all again, and I hope one day you can improve on your customer service.

ESPECIALLY when the online orders were processed over a month ago? "Well we had a major system crash here" ??? You got online orders out without problems. Not happy at all. For grad photos, the prices are ridiculously high - paid total around 95$ for 2 5x7 pictures of one pose (including sitting fee). If you check prices at Walmart etc. they are way cheaper. I normally never buy school photos because of the steep price, but it's pretty obvious they bank on sentiment to convince families to pay for overpriced services and average-at-best photos. Not to mention the photographers generally don't show students a lot of respect or time/care when taking the photos. I was probably rushed out in 10 minutes (which for taking ~10 poses is a very short time). Take your service elsewhere!

Recently purchased the digital download package for my daughter. Digital quality was ok, but the files are highly compressed to 2 mb per photo. They say it can print 16x20" but after getting an email clarification, that is at 200 dpi, which is a marginally better than fax machines which fax at 150 DPI. Its not bad but I expected better for the price, and because other school photo companies I've dealt with in the past have provided far better quality photos. I found the website confusing. You can create additional poses for your child, i.e. substitute the background as many times as you like (I created 9). The digital download says you'll get ALL poses but when I tried to select the poses on the website, I could only choose 1. In the end I got 2 poses. It doesn't make sense and the response I got from their support 7 days later didn't clarify anything except to say that we get 2 poses. How they decided on the 2 when I could only choose 1, I don't know.

Very annoyed that I need to pay for photos up front without having seen the proofs. How am I supposed to decide what I want if I don't know if I like the final product? If it's not great then I would only buy a couple. If they are great then I can buy a big package. How am I supposed to decide if I need retouching if I haven't seen the photo first? Also we get the forms on Friday night and are told to have money in by Monday morning?? Is that reasonable to you? Without seeing a product? Seriously disappointed. Wish I could give less stars. In the past 5 years the schools has used edge and in those 5 years they have messed up our order every year so far. I am currently waiting on a 5-7 day delivery that was made almost 2 months ago. If you call there number the phone rings with no answer. When you do get through that try to make it your fault that you didn’t get them or they blame Canada post.

If you concider yourself a "Photography Service" company, you better deliver, second year in a row I didn't order any school pictures for my kids. The quality of the pictures, to put it in plain words, was just BAD, terrible, my kids looked like ghosts in them, never in my life I have seen such bad "professional pictures". When I called them to complain, the lady actually said the pictures don't look "that bad", and than she offered to have them retouched for a price.... SERIOUSLY....., I didn't ask to alter their faces in any way, so I'm not going to pay for any extra services that were supposed to be delivered in the first place..... Taking my graduation photos, the photographers were unprofessional and rude. Also, the photos themselves were insanely expensive for no other reason than extra profit it seems. All I want is just one photo (because it was the best out of many terrible ones) for memories and I can’t even have that without having to reprioritize expenses. They were not reasonably priced at all. Oh my god don’t even get me started on the LIGHTING for POC! Absolutely TERRIBLE! Any Afro-Canadian POC at my school - you couldn’t even see their face. Any Asian/West Indians? They look orange and oily and BURNT. We are honestly so embarrassed to show our pictures to each other, it’s like a forbidden thing at our school to ask to see photos. And this has been going on for ALL 4 years of my highschool career! It seems like they’re only trained in photography and lighting for white-skinned individuals sadly.

My son informed me yesterday that some students from his class received pictures they had ordered; however, he did not receive the order we had placed. I called Edge Imaging to confirm whether the pictures being distributed were retakes or grad pictures. The Lady I spoke to was wonderful. She completely understood why I was concerned and promptly informed me that she did receive our order and that I should receive it within a few weeks. Apparently some orders were not given to their representative when they arrived and my son's was one of them.

The pictures took long to be delivered, I guess it is ok since the COVID situation. The Picture quality was not the best, that is acceptable as well. But when they mix the Class Year instead of 2020 they put 2021. I emailed them back, since noone picks up the phone. They told that they will fix the year. After we received second pictures and the year was still not fixed. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I contacted Edge Imaging on a few occasions over the past few months to locate and order school pictures (from 2009 to 2018) for my children which I didn’t order when I received the proofs. Phoned Customer Service today and had a truly disappointing experience. I received a bonus image for my order but the background selected was horrible. The agent emphasised that *once I returned the original* they would send out a replacement. Fair enough, but her tone was shockingly condescending. The emphasis on me returning the original image was unnecessary. She couldn't even be bothered to give me the return address. But the real breakdown in service came when I asked about recieving a confirmation from Edge of my return or an email when the new one is sent out. She laughed out loud and said "We're too big and too busy for that!" Wow, a little empathy for my concerns? Never thought about not having school photos before, but now I'm thinking; "why do we do this?" I've got more than enough photos of my kids.

They had one cameras set up and hour early as requested for special cases in our school. Our school uses Edge Imaging and every year they take the absolute worst possible photo of my boy, just when you think it can't get worse, the next year it does!! Why can't the photographer just take 5 seconds, look down at the photo he/she just took, notice that it is extremely bad, then re-take it? My son graduated from Grade 12 and paid a $50 sitting fee (by cheque) in January. In March I got a bill for $35 and called to ask why. I was told it was an error and would be removed. I sent another cheque to cover the cost of my requested portraits in March. They cashed it in April and I still have not got my order. I ordered some photos on November, 7 with this company and my parcel should be delivered (according with company's website) into 5-9 business day. On November, 20 I sent an email to the company to complain about my parcel. After 2 days an answer has been sent saying that the problem concerns the strike with Canada Post. The email said also that my parcel will be delivered into 1-2 weeks!!! The strike in Ontario has began days before my order be completed. I think that the company should send the parcel by using another company and I would like to know why they did not send an email saying about the strike problem in the period between November, 7-20? Now, I paid almost $10 to receive almost one month after the purchase has been paid.

On top of an awful photo taking experience, that required me to drive to a far location and pay $35 when in other years it was free, they completely messed up my order. They sent me hundreds of dollars worth of photos, of another person. It was under the name of someone else, however it was my address. I opened it up and saw multiple copies of the same one photo of another girl, and they were not even the sizes that I picked. Luckily I knew the girl who was in these photos, and I contacted her only to find out that she had not even placed an order. I paid a $10 shipping fee for something that took 2 months to arrive and I have to wait till they open to call and get this sorted out which is in a week. Beyond disappointed.

Customer service is unparalleled. In a world where customer service is no longer a focus for companies, it's nice to see that Edge Imaging holds this as their number 1 priority! Digital quality is fantastic and the photographers are great to work with, deal very well with the students, and are extremely accommodating. Pricing is fair but could be better in terms of low-income options. Photography is not an inexpensive business and I can appreciate the overhead. The packages they provide are great, I just think a couple more options would help. I'm sure Edge will continue to grow and make these sorts of options available in the future.

Very disappointed - the technical issues described by others are plaguing me as well and we do not have a paper option to order. I "contacted customer service" via the Edge website one week ago and no response. I have now been on hold for 15 minutes as orders are due on November 6 and we would like a picture of our child. The portrait was blurry and in the class photo my son is in the front row all the way at the end of the bench, about a metre away from the rest of the kids in his class. I'm always disappointed with the pictures. It seems like the photographer just takes the picture without even making sure the kids look okay. My daughter's tongue was sticking on on one picture and her eyes were halfway closed on the other! Same thing with my son's pictures 2 years ago, his hair was messy and no one even bothered to at least assist him. These are Kindergarten students. if the photographer does not have the time to fix the kids even for a few seconds, at least ask the teacher... I did not even order any pictures for my son last year. This year both of my kids will have to do a re-take!!

Our school recently had a photographer from edge imaging come to take our grad photos and a bunch of my classmates and I are not pleased with the outcome of the images. The photos were extremely expensive, with most of us paying 40 dollars for barely 5 minutes with the photographer. In addition, we found that we were completely rushed in while taking our photos, even though there was plenty of time in between each shoot. The photographer was constantly complaining and honestly seemed to not want to be there the whole time. In addition, not only would the photographer not let us even look at the pictures, but wouldn't help us to look the best on camera. All the photos that were taken were ruined by something that could have easily been prevented by the photographer. Overall, none of us graduates are pleased with our photos and are honestly disappointed due to pure laziness and lack of cooperation.

Edge imaging came to my school for my graduation photos, being as these are my graduation photos and the last school photos I can get before I start my life I purchased them. I’m very self cautious however I like to get my graduation photos for my family, friends, and also others. I can honestly say these are the absolute worst pictures I’ve ever gotten, and after seeing the reviews I can see I am not alone. The pictures I received are not worth what I payed for, and the photographer tried to convince me I was late to my appointment when I had been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. With the price I payed for what I got is ridiculous and has only made my last year of high school more difficult for trying to find a way to fix this. There is no photo retakes at my school and I have no means of going to the actual building wasting time and gas to get something done that should have just been done correctly the first time. Altogether I can definitely say I was not happy with the experience and result.

It's been 2 months and I emailed so many times and called so many times but they've all been ignored. DO NOT TRUST THEM..I paid and I ordered my child's grad photos more than 2 months ago. Since I didn't receive the photos I sent an email inquiry (they have shut down phone line). I was at the location for my 17 year old daughters photos and was not permitted to see the photos that I was paying for. Instead the photographer had my daughter pick the pictures when I was standing right there. Makes no sense to me that I wouldn't be permitted to decide what shots I wanted when my wife and I are paying for the sitting fee and my daughter is very critical about her image. When I called to complain about the process I was told that it is normal as parents do not usually attend these sessions. All I wanted to do was insure that the pictures of my daughters graduation were done and as perfect as possible for her last memories of high school. I was left with basically nothing and no resolution. Time shouldn't be a factor when this picture is a very important in for families. Very disappointed with being brushed off and cannot understand why they would be so dismissive. My wife being a photographer is very experienced and has had many sessions that provide excellent customer service and I could honestly say that she has never been dismissive to a customer that requested something so trivial. If it was a time issue they could of had me pick the photos and have her take off the gown at the same time. Just hurts to know that they value the volume of customers rather than the customer experience. If I had another option to go with I promise that I would. Oh and please don't bother suggesting that I call your customer service line. I have already experienced the brush off to my suggestion/opinion.

So happy I was able to order graduation photos for my son from 3 years ago! I couldn't order at that time and was worried they would be lost but this company keeps them for future ordering unlike others that delete images after less than a year.

This company is interested in nothing but money. Their package prices are exorbitant and not flexible enough to accommodate individual needs; you either pay nothing or be prepared to spend $$$. There is no at school pick up option for graduation photos, they charge tax on $10.50 shipping fee!, plus the $20 sitting fee in advance, which is not applied towards the package cost. Absolutely outrageous and disgusting! I don't understand why schools / school boards allow this company to take advantage of school children. Their prices are more fitting for a corporate company's budget. Many school children come from low income families who want to have photo mementoes of their kids but cannot afford paying those exorbitant prices. SCHOOLS need to do better and stop working with this company. Find more affordable photo options!

Poor value. Very frustrating to order photos. The day the personal codes were sent home, they didn’t work and I was told on the phone that they forgot to add the background which took a few days. Then I submitted a question on Monday, still haven’t received an answer 5 days later, so I went ahead and ordered the digital package (which is overpriced for 2 poses, we got several more last year for $20 instead of $30), and I haven’t received the link yet. Now I’m trying for the 4th time this week to call but can’t get through, so I’m leaving my feedback here.

Called today to correct an error with the ordering of a photo package. I can get over all the factors involved with a photographer trying to grab a good shot in an intense school environment with hundred or moody kids but bad customer service after the fact... unacceptable. Spoke with Emily who was quite unpleasant. Definitely recommend some training in communication, service and professionalism. At this point, it is evident this is not the department or industry for her. Listening is a key factor in her role and she is severly lacking in this realm. Someone who make an experience with your company so discouraging leads me to never want to encounter with such a company in the future.

It is very expensive and the image of my daughter is not great ( I myself can do much better job) but I still decided to order some photos for her memory.) At this premier rate, I would expect to receive fast and better service, however, the below reasons are that I will absolutely not order any photos from this company: * placed order online several weeks ago, the payment taken right away after my order placed * called and asked the status of delivery, and was told in two weeks after the school's due date * now it way passes the due date and haven't received my order yet. So I called again today, the customer service was rude telling they are extremely busy this time of the year and they are running behind, two weeks is jut the approximately time frame and no promise. Ok, if the company is busy this time of the year, hire more people! I paid most expensive rates for photos getting delayed service and rude response. I will talk to school not even let them take photos of my child in the first place in the future.

Very disappointed! We had our soccer photo day a month ago and still haven't received our photos. They won't give us a solid date as to when we will receive our them and tried to get me off of the phone with "We should have them done within the next couple of weeks." Vague, unprofessional, disappointing, and frustrating. When you pay for a service, it should be done within a reasonable amount of time. It should not take 6+ weeks for photos taken digitally. I do not recommend them to anyone. I will be making sure our club knows that they should not be used again in the future!

I have recently had a wonderful experience with Edge imaging when a problem arose. We are new to the school system, and this was our first set of school pictures. We were provided with two solo images of our son, one was charming and the other was a little tense. Nothing to do with the photographer, it was actually interesting to see how he reacted to someone other that ourselves posing him for pictures. We ordered our preferred pose and once we received the package, the quality was great and we are 100% happy with the final product. Who doesn't love their school picture memories - it is a great snapshot in time. We did however have an issue with the class image, I debated sending an email but in the end decided that until you let someone know there may be an issue, in a polite manner of course - how are they to know what feedback to address? Knowing that they are busy, we received a reply within 9 calendar days, which is acceptable. The CSR (Cassandra) was helpful, knowledgeable and able to give us the best possible outcome available. I am completely satisfied with my experience with Edge Imaging and looking forward to placing future orders with them. Thank you for a great experience - you put smiles on many parents faces, ours included!

This was my daughter's second year in school and the first year she was able to have school pictures taken because of the pandemic. We had the photos shipped to the school and they came home quite damaged. The customer service team at Edge Imaging was incredibly quick to respond and had new photos shipped straight to our home. There was an error made in the retouching of my order so I called and explained the issues and they fixed it the same day and had the reprints delivered to my home in 2 days and without any added fees! I recently had my son's Grade 12 graduation photos done by Edge Imaging. I am THRILLED with the results! The picture quality and selection of backgrounds is excellent - much better than what was offered by LifeTouch. The photographer was a pleasure to work with and very adaptable. I was especially pleased with the many varied options for the finished product in terms of sizes, framed and unframed and collage options. I will definitely be taking my daughter back to Edge when she graduates in 3 years.

I am a grandmother who orders my grandchildren's school pictures every year. Sadly a few years ago they moved from Oshawa. Their school photographer (Life Touch) was wonderful. In 2018 we didn't order at all first time in 8 years as it was terribly done by Edge Imaging. This year I had no choice but to order my granddaughter's grade 8 graduation pictures, They were horrible, yellow around the eyes, crooked smile and more, all 4 poses were terrible. So I wrote customer service and they tell me they are fine. Graduation doesn't come often so you have to order their pictures however next graduation in grade 12 we will rent a gown and my husband will take the pictures. I suggest everyone contact Dave Bond the owner or contact your local school and let them know about these issues. Obviously Edge Image doesn't have good reviews so something isn't right!" What options are available"??? according to your response. Why should we have to pay for touch ups Do it right in the first place. I have done research on your retakes and all your issues. $80.00 lost but never again!!!!

And I'm so disappointed that they aren't doing my sons school pictures. I hate the basic blue background, I wanted to get a different one something that looks nice and they said they couldn't do it cuz the school didn’t choose it. Well just because the school didn't choose it that doesn't mean it can't b edited with a different background! If I pay for it y can't it b done? It's simple! I felt dismissed when I called to enquire where photos were when photos got separated from the rest of the class photos delivered to the school. The company person answering my call blamed the school. The school claimed all payments/orders were picked up once. Long story short - all parties are blameless, of course, and we have no photos for Christmas. I hope the photos are better than the customer service.

This company has unethical and disgusting business practices! They didn't send any proofs for me to order from...the only option was the online photos...they weren't very good but it was my son's grade12 grad photos so I wasn't going to NOT order any. I went ahead and order from the choices and then low and behold less than one week later the proofs arrive in the mail and they are much better pictures and many more poses!! The same thing happened with my oldest son but I thought it was a coincidence that I ordered and then the other proofs arrived....obviously it wasn't! The last time I ordered more pictures because I thought it was my mistake....now I know it wasnt. They purposely do this! This is so wrong!!! The packages are so expensive and now here I am looking at much better photos of my son that I cant afford or justify ordering! Please don't support this company...I will be be lobbying our school to NOT use this company in the future!!

Not a good experience from start to end. Photo's came home with an order date deadline that was the previous day - so orders were already considered late. Ongoing tech issues with the website were very frustrating. The overall process for ordering photo's is outdated and time consuming. When trying to take advantage of the Family Plan (ordering photos for more than 2 children) the process is not at all customer friendly....orders must be placed online for the first 2 children and then a call must be made to the 1 -800 number in order to order the additional children's photos by phone. I was on hold waiting for a service provider for 45 minutes, after being on the website for over an hour! It should not take 2 hours to order school photos!!!! I have purchased photos from other school photo companies that have more intuitive website and tech systems to support family plan discounts which make photo selection and purchasing a much more enjoyable experience. Edge Imaging just has not kept their ordering system up with the times and their workflows are not customer focused. Hoping the school does use this company next year.

This is my second year being forced to order from the website. It is currently 3:52-i've been on hold for 15 minutes. This pre order is nonsense. I read the other reviews and as the owner explains it is a school decision not Edge. Fair enough. But what is absolutely gouging is being forced to pay over 10.00 for shipping for 1 ONE piece of paper. I just ordered safety equipment from another province and it was 7.57. Please EDGE next time the contract for school photos please BID too high. We never had problems like this my sons 6 other years of school.

Call centre is always busy. They open at 8 and you can call at 7:59 and it says they are closed and call at 8:01 and you have a 20 minute wait. Pictures are OK, nothing special. They have contracts with the schools/sports organizations so you are stuck with them. No matter what time of year or time of the day the wait time is ridiculous. Hire some more reps, for what you charge for the pictures you can afford it.

Disgusting and disrespectful establishment, I paid $40 to get my grad photos taken which was fine, but a few weeks later I get an email that my photos are ready, there prices are already very high, but all I want is 1 or 2 digital copies and I will gladly pay a reasonable amount, but in order to get digital photos I have to spend more than $250 just to get photos that were already taken and cost nothing to email them to me. They are simply taking advantage of students and parents that just want photos. You guys are taking advantage of us only to milk us for money when it costs literally nothing to take and send these photos, I would pay a reasonable amoumt for digital photos but your money hungry establishment knows that selling digital copies doesn't make enough profit. They've basically gotten the rights to the school boards and priced themselves unreasonably creating absolutely unfair and unreasonable expectations on parents in particular parents of children graduating having to pay astronomically just to have that memory of their child on their wall. I hope the schools wake up and go with someone else soon it's unfair to the parents when it's their only option for a cap and gown photo to pay min what a literal professional photographer would deem a worthy payment for a full shoot. We would like to retake my daughter's grade 8 grad pictures. We received the prints on Friday and I have called Edge imaging twice to schedule an appointment. There is no retake option available at the school, I am able to drive my daughter to their location to do a picture. Though they are not able to give me an appointment because they are fully booked until the end of the month nor will they call you back if there is a cancellation. This is an important milestone I am quite surprised at how insensitive the staff at Edge Imaging are! Does that mean there is no option for a retake because there is no retake at the school and Edge Imaging is fully booked? If Edge Imaging is so booked up perhaps the school board should consider doing photographs with a different company.

I think that based on the number of people complaining about the cost and quality that the company would respond with a better approach. My son's graduation pictures were so bad I had to take him to a local photographer to have them done and they cost half the price because I didn't have to order more than I wanted. Most parents want one 8.5 x 11 and a few smaller ones to send to family. The huge packages of poor quality photos that you are forced to purchase for hundreds of dollars only to leave in a drawer, is ridiculous! It is time that there is an alternative company for schools to use that provides a service that meets the needs of both parents and schools.

They say they are not suppose to touch kids, my kids say photographers move their heads to a direction of a camera with their hands! I suggest all their photographers should go back to school to learn how to use filtering system to make images looking better, instead of making them look worse. I am not sure how they have managed to be the official photographers for my children's school. For the third straight year, the class pictures are so dull with poor lighting. A rip off for graduation photos. I received several spam mails on ordering bulk photos and a promo to go with it, but never one email or info in the mail saying the timeline for ordering to school to save on shipping. They charge you 10 bucks to ship 1 photo from burlington. This is just the photo and not anything else mind you. Why can't you guys have a deadline after a month or two more after which you can charge your over priced shipping rate. And normal people don't want so many photos to keep. We are not going to be distributing these to everyone. They are for personal use , so 1or 2 should suffice for the package. And Lower your over priced photo rates. They also had a 30 $ sitting fee. So I have paid 82 $ in total for a 8 x 10 photo. Next parent meeting, I'm lobbying for a change of school photography company. I am not able to submit without a star otherwise they don't deserve any.

This company is really bad. They have their phone lines shut off and can only be contacted through emails, through which they are completely unresponsive. Very unprofessional! I have emailed them numerous times about an issue of not receiving a picture for about a month now. My friend received a picture which was poor quality. They have very horrible customer service. This is very unacceptable. I would never recommend this to anyone!

This company has on it's website that it has award winning customer service. What a joke. Edge Imagine is a disaster of a company. First of all they do not respond to emails promptly, if at all. I had frustrating IT issues with them in that my son's school did not have the option to ship to school, even though I was within the time frame. I was told that "most parents are choosing to pay the $5 to ship to home". That's great, but that's not what I want to do. Then because of the school closures, in May I requested to at least get the digital copy of his photo (which I had paid for months prior). They said they couldn't do that, the system wouldn't allow them to do this without printing the photos. Umm... one of their packages is the digital photo only, so clearly their system CAN send just the digital photo. After weeks of arguing, they finally sent me the electronic copy. Then when I finally got my son's prints in the mail in July, it had not only my son's photo book but also his classmate's photo book. Again no response. Now this family is probably wondering what has happened to their photobook and I know I'm none too pleased to know that they're mailing children's photos and names to random people.

They already got my money so they didn't care anymore. I hope our parent council will reconsider next year. The pictures were awful and service insulting. Just got the school portrait, only one picture was given and it was the worst I have ever seen a picture taken. I understand there are a lot of kids at school waited to be taken but any photographer would retake. I couldn't bring myself to buy the portrait. I wish photographer would care more.

And it only took 3 months to get the photos ! No opportunity to talk to a real person, only emails! Get better customer service, on average 5-6 days for them to return an email.

Grad Photos - Rip Off My son had his Grad Photos taken at his school with Edge Imaging. When the proofs arrived I could not believe the price of the packages, not to mention he had to pay $30 just to have them taken. The pkgs are between $149-$295, these are basically the same photo packages (ok different back ground sheet and they supply the grad gown) that I paid $45 for in Sept for school pictures. I feel like we are being taken advantage of. This is sad becasue alot of people can't afford this much money for a few pictures. We may need to go to Walmart to have the Grad pictures taken. Very Dissapointed.

I've had to call Edge Imaging on a few occasions over the past couple years. Each and every experience has been pleasant and handled professionally, regardless of whom I ended up speaking with. Whether it was an inquiry that required them to go back 3 years or something related to this years photos, everyone was eager to help me. I also appreciated talking to live humans and at no point did anyone try and steer me towards the website to try and find the answers I was looking for. Every company seems to promise customer service, but few actually provide it. I never do reviews but in this case, I felt compelled after having a positive experience each and every time I called. Very nice people and very helpful.

I get that we are in a pandemic but seriously. My photos were supposedly mailed out April 21st. Was someone walking from Burlington to port hope. Over three weeks now. I have ordered stuff from Amazon and shoe company it's arrived in a few days. Contacted customer service and they told me any day now may 6th? That makes no sense. $65 for grade 8 grad photos that I haven't recieved. Paid $6.00 to ship asked for a tracking number no response now for a few days. This isn't the first time I have had this service prior to the pandemic. I will be suggesting that maybe get schools my kids go do get someone local. Ridiculous service. If you said hey no service as its not essential I'm ok with that. Not mailed out April 21st. A miracle just occurred they actually arrived. May 10th. There is no way that's how long it takes to mail here.

Got my son's photo today and was very disappointed how bad the picture is (subject is facing way too much on the side). I am no professional photographer but i think i can take way better picture than this using my phone. This is your business. This is all you do. A good photographer can make an ordinary photo into something really beautiful or a not so photogenic subject becomes really photogenic. For 6 yrs the pics had gotten worst. I can order lots of copies to give to families if the pic was great . If its up to me i will not order any pics. My husband wants to order one and be done with it. My son doesn't even want to do a retake. I just hope the school will find another photo service.

Would like to order grad photos - have a question or two. Left a message, no return call. Called today as your website indicates you open at 8 am your message indicates you are closed. Reading your reviews - this is a common compliant - your standard reply is "we are receiving a higher volume of calls" I find that difficult to believe as school has been out for over three months. Majority of school photos are taken at the beginning of the school year. If you are going to provide a telephone number with standard business hours that telephone number should have a person assigned to it - it's professional. Especially with the excessive negative reviews. Just something to consider.

Update. I finally received the photos. When my daughter returned in September I received them! They were sent to the school eventhough I paid for shipping to my home! Over 6 months to get photos. Very dissapointed. Been over two months and still yet to receive any photos back from my daughter's photo day in February! I've called and emailed so many times. They keep saying to wait two weeks. Well I waited over two months! Very upsetting for a first time parent.

Edge Imaging has been the school photographer for my daughter (and now my son) for the past few years. I have always been disappointed by the pictures they take because they are always dull and dark. I usually just complain about it to people around me, but this time I really wanted to leave a review because I don't understand why a professional photographer cannot take better photos! My daughter was in Sunningdale for a year, and the picture taken there is miles better. I feel it's kind of a rip off to take dark photos on purpose and then expect parents to pay extra for retouching.

Aaron Johnson, our representative, is pleasant, very attentive to our needs and responds promptly to each and every call or request we make. Aaron and his colleagues work very hard at making sure we are completely satisfied with the work they produce, and their seems to be a strong work ethic in their dealings with us. I have never, in all of my 15 years, working in Student Services, heard a complaint from students or parents concerning this company.

Horrible pictures. Every year I have to go to Walmart for a highschool kid to take my sons pictures. Not that I mind. I pay a fraction of the price and way better quality. That says alot, and we all know the caliber of Walmart pictures. But sadly they are better. I had a pleasant experience dealing with the Marketing Communication Specialist - Megan at Edge Imaging. She was very accommodating and was very responsive to my requests. There was a delivery issue of my child's school photos from Canada Post, who damaged the Edge Imaging envelope and ruined the photos. Megan arranged for reproduction of the photos and re-delivery, which I am pleased with. The only issue I have ís that the Edge Imaging photographers do not ensure that the subject has posed properly before a photo is taken. It is just rushed.

People failed to tell me that my orders were lost and only kept asking for an address confirmation but didn't say why. when i finally confirmed, they tried to make it seem like it was my fault they didn't resend because i didn't confirm my address, but they didn't mention that my photos were LOST and that they needed the confirmatuion to resend. they told me they would come within 10 business days when they resent them and they didn't even come within that time frame. not the best service considering graduation photos were not cheap, i expected better. they seriously don't deserve the money we pay for pictures, i dont even know how to use photoshop and i can do better for real

Horrible company. I placed my order over a month ago and they took the payment on that day (almost $200 on one of the smaller packages)!! Have tried reaching them by phone only to be met with a message stating they are not manning the phone lines but still conducting business through email. I have sent 3 email messages on 3 separate days and they all fail to deliver. There is literally no way to reach anyone. I will be contacting my CC company to dispute this charge! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

I recently received notice that Spring/Sibling photos would be happening at my children's school and unfortunately it landed on the same day my daughter is scheduled for surgery. I called Edge Imaging to see if there was a retake day which there was not which was disappointing. I continued to try to find a solution asking if I could take the children to a different school in the area on a different day they are there doing photos and they said no they only offer that for graduation photos. So, obviously it is something they can do yet won't make an exception for a medical situation as severe as surgery? The girl I was talking to didn't even seem to care....just like no too bad basically. Very disappointing service.

I have been emailing and emailing about my daughters grad pics. I spoke with someone about having them shipped. I was sent a paypal invoice for $5 for shipping. I sent my address and didn’t get a response. I reached out again to have another PayPal invoice sent. And now I haven’t been able to get any response. I keep emailing, I’ve sent a message via fb. It was seen and now answered. No one is available to speak to over the phone. This is ridiculous!!!!!

Horrible customer service. It’s to bad so many schools use this company. when I went for my graduation photo session, I was informed of a $50 sitting fee. Somewhere in the process I was informed that my sitting fee would be applied to my order if I ordered my photos before the end of the spring semester. What I was not told was that the photographer was supposed to give me a promo code to do so. That being said, I ordered my photos, then realized there was no credit. I spoke to the photographer (independent photographers based from my school who work with edge) who then contacted edge on my behalf. A day later, I got an email from edge stating that they were sorry for the mix up and that they had refunded $50 from my purchase. Fantastic customer service, and the pictures turned out great!

I think your pictures are extremely expensive. I think your company takes advantage of the fact that every parent wants a graduation photo of their child. Therefore, you have no choice but to spend $50 for 1 picture! Unreal! $37 for an 8x10 photo plus tax and shipping. Oh sorry, I forgot the sitting fee I had to pay for my son to get his picture taken. It was $30. I ended up paying $80 for one picture. I think the school should look for another photographer and I will be telling them so. Extremely disappointed!

I cannot express how unhappy I am with these services my children have been getting pictures taken by this company for the last seven years altogether 16 pictures taken I should say 32 because they all had to do retakes and even so still very miserable pictures these photographers do not know how to interact with children and make them smile or give them the heads up that their hair is messed up order glasses are crooked on their face and when you call and they apologize and apologize and tell you that hopefully next time will be better guess what I've called you guys 7 Times and nothing has changed very unhappy ! These are our children's milestones we would like to have them as a keepsake the prices are ridiculous for the product that you present !

Then it Took months for me to get my pictures. 2 weeks after that, i received my code, that i paid for, to download the other poses online. Pictures i received have "class of 2020" on them. The pictures they took were nice, but I received and offer in the mail after the expired date. When I called to see if I could get it I was told it was already added. But when I go the pictures it was not! I just called back and this rep was nowhere near as pleasant as the first one and was rudely told that I was not entitled to the offer. My child's pic arrived full of a glare on one side of her face. I called into the office to speak them about it as it was only on one half of her face and she was very distraught that this pic would hang in our house for all to see with her looking like she had 'oiled' half her face. This school picture service is trash. I paid extra for personalization on my child's photos. They arrived with only half of the pictures including the personalization. The words were completely illegible due to the colour. When I contacted them, they set it was a preset that they couldn't change. Waste of money! I ordered some portraits, calendar and fridge magnets as a result of photography at my daughter’s school. Loved the pictures and everything else but very disappointed with the magnets. I won’t call it a magnet in the first place. It was a sticker! I still have them along with other pictures but what’s the use? I have had no end of issues with them. Very difficult to get ahold of for questions. When I finally got a response, I was told with my digital image purchase I would receive ALL pictures. I had saved 6 pictures in my account. I only received ONE (they say two poses because they zoomed in on the second one). When I questioned why I was unable to view the other images I ordered, I was told I got all "poses" (aka one image zoomed in, one zoomed out), not the backgrounds that I had saved. I sent them a copy of the email from THEIR customer service department stating I would receive all the images, and asked for them to please allow me to download what I paid for. They are refusing, even though PRIOR to purchasing, they told me I would get all of the pictures, they are refusing to honour that and allow me to download my child's school pictures. I am very disappointed.

Photographer lacks attention to detail for my kid's school photo and when escalated up to customer service, we were given the complete run around. Serious lack of ownership for the quality, resolution and passed the issue along to the customer - a 5 year old kid. Shouldn't have to get penalized with additional fees to correct the photos. Simple courtesy and decency in customer service wouldn't lead to a frustrating experience. Would highly not recommended.

Insanely overpriced for poor quality and some even out if focus photos. We paid more for the sitting than the shots are worth. Shame on Edge Imaging for gouging.

The worst company ever. You can't rely on them !!!! Had them at my school, and didn't even let me view the picture myself ! Rude, unprofessional, and they don't care how you look!!! They've become cheaper through out the years and ONLY take one picture per student. Disappointed, and will never order from this company again.

Lots of backgrounds to choose from for my daughter but I couldn't change the background for my sons. I also had to call and ask if they had the other poses for my son because only the awkward one was there and he said they took multiple. When I spoke to the lady she said she would see if there were others and send me an email if they found any. I didn't get an email but just went to check and there is 1 more pose there now but I can't change the background like I could for my daughters.

I ordered a package for my child's pictures back on November 26th with a 10-12 day shipping time, and here we are a month later with nothing shipped and no answers to emails. How are schools awarding these businesses with these contracts?

If you get these people for school-photos, beware - the upfront fee of $30 is only the start of payment! They'll want a lot more money after the photo shoot, and you can get charged over $100 in total just to receive a few photos. What a rip off!

This is the first year my kids school has used Edge Imaging, and finally placing orders for school photos has become a breeze!!! The photos were great, but I needed some retouching done on my daughters photo. I spoke with Katie in the customer service and she made sure my photo was all fixed up and that I had my order in on time! I've received my photos and can now send them out as Christmas cards. Once again, thank you Edge!!!

I bought a digital family photo taken at my son's highschool graduation and have yet to receive it. The website says my payment is pending and when I sent them an email about it, the last thing I heard was that they didn't have an order under my son's student number. I replied with the order number that the website provided me with, along with my receipt from them, and paypal. I have yet to receive a response and it's been weeks. I've even emailed them again to inquire about the status and still nothing. I can't believe they are ghosting me! They literally stole my money!

This has been the worse experience as a client that I have ever had with any company. Months ago I ordered a picture online from the images on their website. After many weeks of waiting and contacting them, I received the wrong image. What’s more is that I only received that image after I called and told them that I wanted to cancel the order and asked for my money back. When I contacted them to tell them that they sent me the wrong image, they then tried to blame me for ordering the wrong picture which was definitely not the case. Finally, they asked me to send it back saying that when they received it, they would send the picture that I’d originally ordered. I have been waiting for weeks to received my picture. I called on October 28, 2021 and they said they would send it. I called today on November 18 and they told me they they had just sent it 2 days ago but do not have a tracking number because Canada Post did not provide them with one and therefore could not tell me how long it would take for me to receive my picture. All in all it’s been an awful experience. I hope that I will receive this picture soon otherwise I expect a full refund.

I have been ordering my kids school pics for a few years and I have to say every year I'm not happy. The customer service is poor and who ever is taking the picture needs to go back to school the pics are not great . I understand they are kids but I take better pics and I'm a photgrapher, so before u take the pic make sure ur taking the right one. People are paying for these pics. Ur lucky that schools are hiring ur company so take some pride in ur work and stand behind ur image and get it right.

We ordered graduation pictures las year and we never received them. We sent multiple emails and no one replied and we can't even call them. They have the worst customer service and I do not recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic grad pictures! Loved the packages to choose from including the custom collages and framing. I especially appreciated the online proof review because I could share with friends and family before making a selection. I found their customer service department super friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone wanting professional photography done.

Hi Erica - thank you for your response - however i did call this morning and i did speak with someone who told me i didn't have the option to do it online after i see the proofs and she wasn't very helpful or interested in assisting hence my comment on the no customer satisfaction. Also one of my daughters was not happy with her photo and she did go and inquire if she could do a retake and was told that due to costs she could not and the retake day was only for those who hadn't had a picture taken. I am happy to talk to you if you have a number i can call - the number you have provided below is the number i called today and got the customer service agent. Very poor experience - they expect you to pay before the photo day.only one pose taken of the child. if the child doesn't look good and would like a retake they refuse as it costs them money to do a retake ..sadly since all schools opt for them they talk any how they want on the phone and no customer satisfaction skills at all- I haven't ordered any pics for my kids as they charge you for delivery as well - reallypathetic and a huge sham

I ordered photos of my son for his soccer team last year. & we went on vacation and missed the last few games of the season. It wasnt until this years photo session came around that I realized we never received the photos i purchased. I figured i would email them and if nothing else maybe get a refund. I had a response to my email in less than 24 hours advising me that it was no problem, to send them my address & they would reprint the order! No issues at all. Very impressed with the service i received! I was shocked that they still had the photos a year later! Thank you edge imaging!!!
