We could not have asked for a more exceptional day than experienced with Jacob and team. Before our shoot, Jacob took the time to meet with us so he could truly understand who we are, what our personalities were like and the chemistry we shared. This background knowledge allowed Jacob to capture both candid and natural looking poses that truly represented both of us individually and as a couple. During the photo shoot Jacob took a few breaks to show us the shots he had captured so far. This invaluable opportunity ensured we had shot everything we had hoped for and more. The final product blew our expectations. Jacob’s ability to edit any flaws or imperfections allowed us to relive our perfect day exactly as we remembered. Jacob did an amazing job taking photos and video footage while my (now) fiancé was proposing to me! He was incredibly professional and really comfortable to have around during such a big and intimate moment. I did not even realize he was getting video footage, and am still not even sure how he managed to do that and get such beautiful photos all at the same time. The video was so well put together and is something my fiancé and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. My wife and I went with Yacoub for our wedding and engagement photography. Yacoub does an engagement shoot as a precursor to wedding photos, which really helped us to get used to the process and was a lot of fun. Yacoub was very easy to work with and produced great pictures. Both of us are less comfortable with being photographed, and Yacoub really helped make us feel comfortable. We loved our photos, especially the quadcopter photos of all of our guests. We would both really recommend Yacoub as a photographer!

He was very accommodating with us, scheduling our shoot on short notice and suggesting Rockwood Conservation Area as the shoot location, offering a unique mix of history and nature. Even though it was freezing cold that day (December 2016), Yacoub was dedicated and determined - he stuck it through with us and captured some amazing shots! Jacob did a family photo shoot in Waterloo in the Fall for us on short notice and did a wonderful job. He was thorough in his planning and flexible when the location changed last minute. At a time that was very emotional for my family and I he arrived with such a pleasant demeanour and kept the mood light and cheery. He took far more photos than planned and captured memories for our family that we will cherish for many years to come. We won’t just look back at the beautiful photos and think how lovely they are, we will also look at them and think about the nice time we had together as a family that afternoon. Considering that we had my parents, brother, and my family which includes three small kids, a relaxed and pleasant experience is pretty hard to come by, and Jacob is to credit for that! Jacob even made an extra trip back days later to get an aerial photo for my Dad of him in his garden at no extra charge. I truly can’t say how much Jacob went above and beyond in so many ways for us.
