Our experience with Anika from Amare Studios was amazing! My fiance and I recently had our engagement photos taken in Tobermory, Ontario. We are not the most creative people and when we booked we didn't even have a specific location in mind. Anika talked us through the whole process and recommended some great spots to shoot at. She also talked us through any other special requirements (one of the locations required a hiking reservation, etc.) so that the day went seamlessly. She really put a lot of thought and research into the entire shoot. In terms the actual day - for two very awkward people around cameras this felt so natural. We were a bit nervous going in but once we arrived and started to shoot it felt so easy. But that was thanks to Anika's very experienced directions. For the photos themselves - they turned out wonderfully. We could not be happier or recommend Anika enough!

We have booked amare for our 2021 wedding. I was hoping to save this review for after the wedding but I feel like our engagement photos were soo good I wanted to give anyone considering amare studios the reassurance for their 2021 wedding too. We originally booked because we felt its the best value for the price. I love the editing style and the price point made it our #1 choice. Im not kidding I had a spreadsheet of 25 others but my gut said to go with amare studios and im soooo glad I did. Can't wait to see the magic from the wedding knowing how obsessed I am with the engagement session.

So we found Anika on the internet and god bless for that! Otherwise, what would be the chance for a couple from Bowmanville to reach this amazing photographer from Burlington! We had a city hall wedding due to covid, but still wanted to make our wedding day special and Anika definitely exceeded our expectations! Not only she is professional but most importantly she was friendly and there was an instant click between us and we felt very comfortable with her! She is very creative, and what I liked most is her attention to details, for example if your position is not flattering for the photo she will tell you to get the best results for the photoshoot so you'll have beautiful memories! Anika was an amazing photographer. Due to covid, we had to postpone our wedding and find a new photographer. Anika was one of the best vendors we found. Her editing skills are amazing, she is incredibly organized and you can count on her. For the details photo, Anika even brought her own velvet ring box. It is a small thing but it just goes to show that Anika is prepared and takes initiative. I wish we had asked for more drone photos but truly the photos we received are of great quality, super candid and completely captured each moment of the day. Like many others, we had so many difficulties planning our wedding and actually many obstacles with finding a photographer. Anika made everything so easy for us which was such a relief. Many vendors, including Anika, are very busy right now but we still got our full album less than a month after our big day. We don't usually get our photos taken, but Anika gave directions and prompts that made the experience so fun and effortless! I can't recommend Anika highly enough. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She caught my eye after doing a friends wedding and I was really excited she was available for our date. She was very accommodating and understanding during COVID related date & venue changes. On the wedding day she was wonderful- friendly, professional and just lovely to have around. She brought so many special touches and creative ideas. I am generally not super comfortable in front of a camera but she made it easy and fun! She did great with our dog, and any dog or flower girl related tantrums did not faze her one bit! And oh my goodness- the photos. I can't even begin to say how blown away we were by the quality and all the special moments she captured. We were married at a family cottage and she highlighted all the special touches of that special place. The drone photos were iconic. All of the feelings we experienced that day we feel all over again when we look at the pictures, it's like magic. Truly can't say enough wonderful things about our experience.
