Great experience. Great price. Friendly owner. The owner Jim is a friendly 70 yo Korean born man. He has been running this shop for decades and has clients that have come back to him for decades even after they moved to further neighborhoods. I had to drive 20 mins to get there but it was worth it just to support a well run small family business like this. I hope he can stick around for a bunch more years!

Jim and his wife May are super nice and with extraordinary warm welcoming attitudes. They make you feel like home and treat you with good manners. I overheard a conversation between the customer in the pictures and the owner (Jim) and he mentioned that a white shirt is no good for the passport photo because the background is also white. Thus he provided the customer with a coat/jacket to wear on top of his white shirt as a solution. ????

The owner asked me to pay upfront, but I requested to be serviced beforehand. He told me that I only refused to pay first because I didn't know about his photos' quality and I was new around here. Then he gave me a lecture about his photography career dating back to the 80s. The language barrier and the cultural difference definitely got in the way of our interaction. He kind of yelled at me at some point. 2 photos for $10, pretty cheap.

I came in here basically 10 mins before closing. He had already shut off all his equipment and was ready to go to dinner with his family (son and granddaughter were waiting there). I needed the passport photo early morning the next day and he did not even hesitate to help me!! He turned on all the lighting to take my photo and it was printed within 5 mins. I felt really bad with his family waiting there, but they reassured me it was no problem. Service is friendly and fast, prices are cheap and reasonable, quality is excellent and bright. I would 100% recommend others to try out this place and would come here again myself in the future.

Very very friendly place, I came here to get front and right pictures for a police certificate and he knew right away exactly for what country and how they needed to be done. I came back a couple months after to get my PR card pictures and he did a great job, I had no problem at all since he knows exactly how they need to be done and even reminded me to put the information i need to write on the back of the picture before i forget and could have a problem. The quality of the pictures are great and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended, He knows what he’s doing you can tell how much experience he has and I am definitely coming back.

Sorry to post late review about this place.. I was looking for place to get pictures for citizenship application.. I googled for few places and I found Victoria photo studio.. I contacted them through phone first and the owner was so nice and kind. He is old guy but he love what he is doing. I went there and had my pictures done and he gave me in 10 mins.. I was surprised cause most of the places had you to wait. Quality was really good.. I also got digital copy and that also has nice quality. Price is affordable and cheap compared to other places.. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking to get their picture clicked.

When I said It's for my Japanese pasport, I got a file, and I was relieved to say "Oh, 35mm x 45mm" right away. Shooting with Nikon's single-lens camera is quick. I thought that it would be okay without a tripod, but the lighting (lighting) might do well, so the finish is not bad. The price is $ 10 for printing 2 sheets. When we went there was only one set of customers, and it took about 20 minutes to complete, so it was a nice point to use only one round trip bus faresaver ticket! (Original) JPカナダでのよい評判を見て、日本のパスポート用写真を撮りに行きました！ It's for my Japanese pasport と言ったらなにやらファイルを出してきて、すぐに「ああ、35mm × 45mmだね」って言ってくれて安心しました。 撮影はニコンの一眼でサクサクッと3枚。三脚なしで大丈夫かと思いつつ、ライティング（照明）はしっかりやってくれることもあって、仕上がりはなかなか悪くないかんじです。 価格は2枚プリントしてくれて10ドル。行ったときはひと組しかお客さんもいなくて、トータル20分くらいで終われたため、バスのfaresaverチケットを往復で1枚しか使わなかったのも嬉しいポイントでした！

I randomly searched for a ID photo place and this one came up as one of the top results. I never regreted going here. The onwer is an older gentleman who was extremely helpful and kind. He welcomed me with his story of how he moved from one of first generation of London drugs photography department to his own business to keep up with the quality and reasonable price. And yes, the photo quality went far from my expectation. I loved it, much better than all other ID photo I ever took anywhere else. Strongly recommend to everyone

These guys get the elusive 5 from me. My passport expired this month and it was time to get it renewed. Yelp reviews lead me here. I was in the hood since my dentist is down the street so I may as well get it done at the same time. But having not a website is a bit odd for businesses these days. :D The store is non descript and looks run down from the outside. The quality of the photo is way better. Way better because they use two studio soft box strobes for lighting, instead of a dinky on-camera polaroid flash that barely lights up a room that a flashlight can. That's what their competitors use. Cough*London*cough*Drugs*cough* My heart skipped a beat when I saw the set up. She shot me at eye level instead of being higher or lower. She knew what she was doing. $10.08 for two properly lit and colour balanced photos. Actually they were slightly magenta, but only a trained eye would notice. At that price, I don't care. I chatted with her afterwards. The shop used to be a one hour shop, before digi took over. They gave up the photo finishing business. It's changed drastically since the advent of digi. They do studio photos now. Turns out her husband worked where I used to work many eons ago. He worked in a 1 hr photo lab and a pro lab. Him and I used the same machines. Those were the days.......

It was just over $16 after tax for the passport photos for babies over 1 month (completely understood because they take longer and can’t follow directions). A small, but good photo studio. The owner works at this place since the end of 70s. He and his wife are very pleasant people. We needed two photos for citizenship applications. He took 3 pictures and processed them in Photoshop. It took 5-6 mins per person and costs just $11+tax for two printed photos and soft copy(!). Definitely will come back here when we need to do photo for documents next time.

My son recommended this place and, even though it was a 20 minutes drive for me from downtown Vancouver and other places were much closer, it was well worth the drive! Jim was super nice and efficient. He took an excellent immigration photo of my teenage grand son and got it ready in about 10 minutes. My grand son looks really good on that picture and it is fully compliant to Canada's immigration photo requirements! I also needed the electronic version of the pictures as I needed to send it to Taiwan for legal processing. There was only a $2 extra charge for that. The price for 2 photos was significantly cheaper than other places while the quality was significantly better and the kindness and professionalism of this man is top notch! Highly recommended.

Had good experiences here for my passport photos. The studio is usually busy with people waiting for their photos. Taking the picture in the studio takes about 3-5 minutes...wait time for the owner to process the photos takes about 30 mins to an hour depending how busy he is. Owner is Korean and they are very friendly. Free street parking on Victoria Drive.

I found this family owned place around my neighbourhood along Victoria Drive when I got passports done for my family in 2011. The owner was very kind and helpful. The photos were done professionally and the price was right! At that time they offered a promo of a free 5x7 photo. I visited there last Saturday (they are closed on Sunday to go to church) as it was time to renew my family's passport again. We experienced the same kind and helpful service. Passport photos $8.99 plus tax. However as they are busy now they don't offer the free 5x7 photo anymore.

The best passport photo of me ever...crisp, clear and great quality... highly recommend this place for passport photos! The owner Jim is friendly and pleasant, and this is the place with the lowest price ($12.99 for 2 photos) I could find ever since Costco stopped doing passport photos. Well worth it! (do call ahead of time since their hours a bit variable with COVID)

Very nice owner. Came in for a PR photo and he got it taken care of quick. When I had issues submitting it he helped me figure out what was going on and worked with me to get it figured out. He seems to have done a lot of various ID photos so knows his stuff on getting them figured out.

I love this place!I went here 3x over the course of 3 years. Im always satisfied with photos I get (passport/PR ID). I have moved place,not so far, but I still go back to this place,better than London drugs or other photo labs. Aside from good price,owner is always so friendly too and quick service! Free street parking just in front of it if you get lucky.

My first time attending this location, and I left very happy with the results. I brought in old faded vintage photos and the sweet owner helped me to the fullest. He did his best to revive the photo and enlargen the size. My money was well spent and was worth every penny because other places kept saying it’s not possible. The owner made it very possible for me , i I recommend everyone to go here please you won’t regret it. Best of the best.

The owner of the studio was very welcoming. He was alone in the shop when I came to take a passport photo. He asked if I was able to wait a little as he is just finishing up another task. While waiting, he was able to entertain me with his stories of his family, how he started the photography department in London Drugs, and how their standard has dropped, and his store has better quality etc. I have used LD passport services and it is true, his photos come out better! Photos come out pretty quickly too; I waited for probably less than 20 minutes!

Very friendly service! Owner is a 70 year old Korean man who has been here for 30 years. He adjusted my shirt, gave simple directions to adjust my head positioning, and took 3 shots with professional lighting. He then worked on it on his computer and printed it out. There was no wait when I went in and everything was done in 15 mins. $12.31 taxes in. Worth supporting local businesses! :)
