The best place for family photos !

Karen took our newborn photography and we absolutely love the photos! It is so hard to find a photographer who can take lifestyle photography as well as posed newborn shots but Karen can do both so beautifully. She was also willing to travel to our home so we did not have to stress about leaving our house with our baby as new parents. My husband and I are not used to professional photography and did not know how to pose, where to stand, what to wear etc. but Karen helped us with her calm coaching and advice. Our newborn also slept through the entire session because Karen was great at soothing and handling her. We highly recommend Sweet Dreams Photography and Karen to anyone!

We were worried that none of the photos with our son would turn out -- he's a hyperactive 2.5 year old and he literally would not stop running around the entire photoshoot -- but by some magic not only was she able to work with him and get him, along with our almost-5 year old daughter, in-focus and in-frame but also manage to give us such artistically beautiful family photos that we will cherish forever. We will definitely be calling her up again for more shots as the seasons change and the kids grow.

Where to begin.... having Karen take our family photos was more than we could’ve imagined. Firstly, although my little one is ridiculously photogenic, mama and papa... not so much so my husband and I were quite nervous to get in front of the lens. Secondly, baby girl decided to be a little grump on the day of our shoot which all together seemed like a recipe for disaster. Karen was so patient with our little one and captured every little smile and special moment she had wandering through the trees and looking at the ducks so beautifully. She managed to also make mama and papa look not-too-shabby as well! The photos turned out better than I could’ve ever expected. Our little one is at such a fun and curious age and Karen’s ability to portray her vibrant personality through a few snaps of her camera is beyond me. I imagined that a few shots might turn out alright but we received so many beautiful photos and we are super excited to have them hanging throughout our home. Karen, you were honestly such a dream.. you calmed our nerves, you made baby girl look like the happiest kiddo on such a grumpy day and you took some of the most beautiful shots. I met Karen while at the Lakeland Tulips in May. She asked to take some photos of my son and would send a few in exchange for using them for her business. Its no easy feat getting my son to look at the camera and if he does, to get a smile out of him too. But Karen managed to get him looking right at the camera with a big grin on his face more than once! She was very sweet and patient with my toddler while taking his photo.
