My daughter, my wife and me got your PR Card photos here on Feb 2021, 2 months later got the letter from Immigration Canada all 3 photos were rejected highlighting the reason: not uniform lighting or shadows. This people are nor professionals, when you check the photos Immigration is right, none of them look good. I went to ask for a refund, they want to keep the photos, even when Immigration Canada mandate to return them as part of the file, so I have no refund either. Make yourself a favor, don't waste your time and money with Photos Unlimited.

Awesome service, real passport experts, my babies did it in the first attempt. Moreover, they know a lot about other contries and police clearance pictures. When it was time to pay, they offered to me an amazing deal that I could not resist. it was for family portraits at home. And here comes the best. The on-site photographers are very well trained, on time and with experience to get the best of our new home. When we went back to the studio, for our session review, I noticed that the staff members speak in Punjabi and Spanish as well. We sent the digital session key to our family back home, and they downloaded the entire session. All pros. No cons... And if you want the best from rhem, don't book on weekends (they can get quite busy) book on weekdays. This way you'll have more time to make your mind on poses.

It was such a terrible experience！We just want to take passport photos.The guy told us to wait 30 minutes because he is having a session, we waited. After his session done he told us we need to wait another 2 hours because he is having another two sessions! And sessions have priority! The why you didn’t let us know at the first time!!! We went t London drug photo lab, it took me less than one minute! This place is Not recommended at all!!!

I wish I could give -5 stars. Very unprofessional. Extremely rude front lady. They sent you a message that you have been selected for a grand prize about an year after your kids photo shoot. Guess what. The grand prize is single family photo without even a print. These are one of their sales tricks. There are lots of nice place for your baby's first photo shoot. Don't waste your money here. I wish walmart will put the front lady on a customer service course. Rip off.

Fraud 28$ vs 10 $ in photo centre Please don’t take photos here for passport or visa . For photos they charge 28$. They gave for 4 $ for some event. Like indoor and out for worth $75 for free. But didn’t have the voucher for $50 only $25 which is weird. Had to get the receipt and finally in writing to get the $50 coupon. I wouldn’t do photos for special occasion even if they paid me because even the passport photo was taken badly and took so much time. Crazy. Just going to gift that voucher. Just go to the photo centre on the other end to take passport photos. This is too much for poor quality photos.

The photographers are friendly, but they don’t have a lot of creativity, and seem to being at a loss when doing portraits of anything other than a small child or two. The studio is very small, with interesting backdrops for only one or two people at a time. The packages are constantly changing, and the changes are rarely good for the customers.

I went at the beginning of May 2017 with a NEWBORN and i dont know why this places got previous bad reviews but my experience went great! I went there to take passport pics for me and my baby and instead of waiting for 1 hr like other places, this place gives you the pictures immediately! Also, if the passport place rejects your picture, bring it back to them and they will re take your picture at no price.

My experience having a free photo session from unlimited photos was excellent. I worked with Simran through the entire purchase. She was fast to answer all my questions and helped out as much as she could. I was a little skeptical at first because I bought photos before but they never showed me how it look like but she showed me the pictures and asked which one you like. Simran made the photo purchase easy by offering a complete around deals of the studio and pointing out blemishes to make sure there were no hidden price once I received the photo and digital photos. I would highly recommend working with Simran to purchase your next photo.

I was really disappointed with the service. I have two recent experiences. The first one is that I had scheduled a photo shoot with my friends (all moms of several children and on a tight schedule). We arrived on time for our photo session but we had to wait 45 minutes to be served! It wasn't even busy, the employee was just working VERY slowly. The second experience is that I had an on-locaiton photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. I informed them that I needed to choose the photos that we liked ASAP as we are needing them as soon as possible. It has been two weeks and I haven't even been called in to SEE the photos! I have called twice and left a voice message once. WHAT IS GOING ON?

HORRIBLE customer service-please tell everyone you know to NEVER book photos at either the North Walmart or the Sears portrait studios in Lethbridge, EVER! All I needed was one single digital professional photo taken and put onto a CD for my employer. They quoted me $19.99 for this service. Booked my appointment on a Thursday for the following Sunday. Received a call on Saturday advising that their camera broke and that I would need to reschedule my appointment for the following Tuesday. I advised that I needed my photo to submit to my employer on Monday, and they offered to have me sent over to their Sears location as it is apparently the same photography company at both locations, and they also confirmed that the price would be the same at both studios. When I spoke with the Sears location they told me that it would cost me $99.99 for what I needed, and that I had been quoted the wrong price by the Walmart location. The Sears location called back to the Walmart location to advise that they gave me the wrong price, and the Walmart location proceeded to tell them that I was quoted the wrong price by whoever booked my appointment, and that they would not be honoring the price I was given. I was told that I would receive a call from a manager at the photography company that same day to resolve the issue, however no one bothered to call me back. So not only did they cancel my appointment and leave me in a complete bind to begin with, their alternative to have me sent to their other studio and have me pay a way higher price because one of their employees gave me the wrong price is their way of helping me out. So here I am on the Sunday before the day I need to submit my photo to my employer, and I have no idea what I'm going to do. There is no where else to go on a Sunday for a professional photo, especially without an appointment. I'm sure my employer will understand but that is not the point-customer service is clearly not a priority for this company. Go somewhere else, even if it costs more money....this place is not worth it!

I am giving 4 stars for the extremely dirty/cracked/ripped/wrinkled backgrounds. With that out of the way, I have been going here with my wife and kids for a few years in a row now. Getting a professional family photoshoot done is really expensive, this place does it for like 1/2-1/3 of the cost (obviously they're 1/2-1/3 as good). It's always been a different photographer, they put in different amounts of effort and have varying skill, but overall I feel the price to product ratio is pretty good. If you're wanting to fill a wall up with photo's or maybe fill a large picture frame that holds multiple photos, I would recommend this place. If you're looking for a couple really great photos to have blown up and thrown on your wall, I would not suggest this place.

Don't EVER get passport photos here. Manager attempted to rip me and my family off and charged us $145.00 for 4 passport pics. When she was busted for what she did, she refused to refund us. We went to talk to the managers at Walmart and they were great. They informed us that there has been many problems with this particular manager and refunded me the money in full that I was out. It turns out that Photos Unlimited is not even directly affiliated with Walmart yet the manager indicated that Photos Unlimited are working under their roof and felt bad about how we were treated. The management at Walmart will be taking this story to Corporate and so will I. Borderline fraud as far as I’m concerned. Thank you to the good people at Walmart for making this right although they had no obligations to.

Went there to get my 6 month olds passport photos done. The lady working was very unorganized. Trying to take pictures of several different clients at one time. Then the camera she had was from the stone age and she could barely take the picture with my baby looking. Passport Canada denied the pictures that she took not once but TWICE! Was charged a ridiculous amount for photos as well. Don't waste your time going here.

They tried to scam me with my daughters photos by trying to charge me extra for some other designs they 'thought' I would be interested in but where not part of the package I had paid for already and I wasn't going to let them keep my daughter's pictures so they said they would give it to me for free because I was apparently waiting to long in line but I actually waited only like 5 minutes. They never contacted me when they said they would. I had to actually go there and ask them if it was done. They don't deserve to have even one star but because of how google is I had to.

Very disappointed with my experience. Right from the start, we were not greeted at all when we got there, then to the numerous times that our so called " photographer " left our session to deal with walk in people who were wanting their passport photos taken. This was a session for my 2 year old son. Time is of the essence when photographing young children and when you have an appointment for pictures, you should pay attention to the client who booked the time. We barely were able to get any pictures. The so called photo props are old and clearly weathered. Being in a Walmart, you'd think they would splurge on some cleaner/newer props. Then once it was done, because my child had enough, we were reviewing the pictures and they were just not good at all. He didn't centre the pictures very well, then cropping them afterwards was a chore. You could clearly tell this was just a part time job for this person, he tried to give us a free session, which honestly do you think I want to come back after this. No thank you! I will not be returning.

I recently got my son’s passport photos taken at photosunlimited but the photos were rejected by the passport office. I went back with my concern and they were willing to retake my photos but on their website it indicates that I should be getting a full refund plus re shoot at no cost if my photos were rejected. When i indicated that they said they cant do a refund only reshoot. May I know if photosunlimited has a false advertisement on their website or the on location photography isnt aware of your advertisement? I lost so much time because my photos were rejected and had to reschedule my travelling date! Would not recommend! Too expensive and poor quality!

Always ask for rate before getting print out. I took two passport photos print out I was charged $62.98 which I already had digital copy in pen drive. I have the receipt from photos unlimited walmart 1203 parsons road which don't show why $62.98 was charged. Lady on front desk was very busy don't have time to answer why $62.98 was charged. Got our Christmas photos done today and the lady was amazing with our 2 year old. She took great photos! This is our 3rd year going for family photos and it was by far the best experience yet. worst experience ever seen, printing 4 times same photo to get one that can be used, and even that one is not usable.... the technology used seem to be from early '90 ... cutting with scissors ( cuts are not straight), colors are not even close to reality, and with all that much more expensive than others photo-companies... must be closed or sued .... real SCAM used their services because had no choies because of some personal problems

I had a great experience here. The talented photographer had a great eye for posing. She was personable, as well. The studio was very busy, though, which did impact the attention they could pay to us. Only two people were managing the photo studio, so it was quite hectic! Overall, I think everybody there was quite satisfied with their pictures. I saw lots of happy faces and great pictures. Make sure to book an appointment beforehand, and expect to spent at least 15 minutes after your photo shoot to look through/choose photos.

DO NOT GET PASSPORT PHOTOS HERE, THEY WILL GET REJECTED. The photo centre is now located in the back of the electronics department. It's not a suitable place for taking passport photos. Mine were rejected for multiple reasons and are now in the trash. They did offer to reshoot them, but I'm not willing to have another delay in getting passports.

I haven't had pictures taken at Photos Unlimited for about 7 years. My previous experiences at the Oakville location were so positive with my older children, I thought I would try the Burlington location. It was awful. Like another reviewer said, the props are gross. But worse is that the "photographer" wasn't skilled by any stretch of the imagination. She didn't try to engage the baby (10 months old) at all to try to get a smile and from the only place I could stand to try to get a smile, it wasn't working with the placement of the camera and lighting. All she did was squeak a toy over her head. No talking, being silly, cooing, or doing anything that makes babies laugh or even catches their attention. I was left to be silly on the right side of the camera when the lighting and the angle was set to the left side, making very awkward pictures. When I was in Oakville for pics for many years, the photographer was super silly and very engaging for the children because that's what gets good pictures! It's embarrassing to do, but it works! Babies aren't dogs who get excited about a squeak toy! It was so bizarre! She also had no idea how to place the children, pose them, arrange them for the best most natural photo...it was all around awful. The only good? The price...too bad we only had 3 decent photos out of all that were taken.

Did my 3 month olds passport photos here and they were AMAZING. She wasn’t cooperative always and they had toys to distract her and they got a picture that works for the government (which isn’t easy to do with a baby lol). I went back to get my photos done too and they were great. A little expensive but they come with package deals and so I was happy to pay! They also work very hard, recovered my daughters photos after I lost them during a move, and had the photos ready quickly.

About two months ago we did our photos with the on location photography. We were told we would be called to review the photos. A month after not hearing anything we went in to ask about our photos since we didn’t receive a phone call, mind you it’s a 45 minute drive to Cornwall for us. They said they had to schedule a day for us to review the photos. But if we never came in we wouldn’t have been called. Now it’s two months since the photos were taken we have reviewed the photos and they said they would call us when they’re ready. We are still waiting for our call to get our photos. This is a waste of money you don’t even get your photos because they never call. Scam.

We showed up to get the annual Christmas photos done on November 16, 2019, and imagine our surprise when we were told they NO LONGER DO PRINTS. Supposedly they would have communicated this on the phone but that wasn't the case, and the family that arrived after us was also surprised. The gentleman working gave us all of our photos for $62, but the normal price is 5 photos for $70. They also give you the photos on a CD instead of USB in an age when most computers don't even have a CD drive. Be warned - not going to be returning next year.

After we took our passport photos (amazing quality), we spent 5 minuets just speaking to him because he was kind, helpful and a pleasure to speak to. Went in to get my daughters 6 week old photos. We selected the photos from their computer with the photographer, which looked subpar, but was hard to tell on the screen. After printing them the colour and quality look like they were taken by a 80s camcorder at best. They are very unfocused and very off colour. We then sent an email to customer service. This company did not have the courtesy to respond even though we requested them to. I will never use this company again and would never recommend anyone go here. Waste of money

This place is garbage. You could calibrate the purity of a turd with their services and pricing. Holy god! Super expensive! Also, they try to get you to donate you personal contact info (tel no. and email) by filling out a bogus form. They say it's so that they can contact you if anything goes wrong with the photo. Terrible customer service with the women answering the phone. We were simply trying to figure out how to properly download as the photos looked like they were taken with a potato and it was difficult to navigate there website but with the women answering the phone being rude from the get go, we hung up and had to figure it out ourselves. Photos weren't anything to shoot home about and with it being a photo shoot for our baby, we found it annoying how the photographer seemed more interested in taking pictures of our farm animals and the parents without the child in the pictures. A few photos that we ended up paying are torally unusable for anything. Wouldnt use again or recommend to anyone.

I've only given one star because there's no option for zero. Absolute worst customer service. Grumpy and very rude female needs some thorough training on how to treat customers with respect. I think her name was shannon. When I asked her if that's the way she deals with customers she was very dismissive and told me that she doesn't work for Walmart so she doesn't care I report her rude and disrespectful behaviour. I went to this studio on Monday July 19, 2021 to take professional photos for my resume. Arrived at 6pm sharp for my appointment and was immediately brought in for the photos. As some of the photos weren't quite as I'd like them, Marjuri at the camera suggested some different possibilities and made me change poses until we were both satisfied with the result. At work the photo we chose was an immediate success and I referred other colleagues to the studio. Well done! Five stars!

Terrible experience here. Booked a quick photoshoot for my sons 6 month mark. I called and talked with the photographer who said she was going to do the shoot. I told her what props I was bringing, how old my son was, and a few poses I had in mind and booked the appointment. I show up day of my appointment, on time, and there's only one guy there and he's editing photos with a family there. He looks up from the computer and says "can I help you? " I said yes we have an appointment. "Oh...kay.. *checks his computer* can you give me ten minutes?" I say yes of course and take a seat with my husband. We proceeded to sit there and wait for over an hour while he went over pictures with this other family. Our baby was finally fed up and we left after an hour and fifteen minutes. The guy didn't say a single thing to us other than "can you give me ten minutes". I called back and complained to the manager and rebooked for the manager to do the shoot with promise he would make it up. My husband wasn't able to take MORE time off of work to go with me so I went alone. The manager who did the shoot basically did nothing but push a button. I had to set up any prop and pose my baby. He was checking his messages on his smartwatch while I was trying to make my baby smile for the photos. After 3 very basic poses where I placed all the props his camera malfunctioned and he couldn't get any more photos. We take a look and he doesn't do editing really... maybe a bit of cropping. Then he tries to sell me these $150+ packages when I have like 3 photos to choose from. I say I just will pick a sheet or two... I was really not impressed with the photos. He kept checking his messages on his smartwatch. I then asked if there was any incentive for me from the previous incident? He had forgotten and offered me one free 8x10 for my trouble. I agree, pay my $20 or whatever for the two photos I got and leave very frustrated with the whole experience. Three weeks later I get a phone call saying my prints are in. They close at 5pm so not once but twice after work rush in to get my prints and get there at about 4:55. They were already closed up, lights off and gate closed. The second time there was a girl in there so I said hey can I just grab my photos? She replied "No... I've already clocked out..." So I've now made 4 trips to this studio and spent a LOT of my time for 3 mediocre pictures that I have yet to receive that I've already paid for. Worst costumer experience of my life! Save yourself the time, money, and trouble and find a different photographer.

I went back to this place after a long time. just wanted a quick passport photo and the girl there was very rude she wasn't interested to answer any of my questions . last year I have taken few passport photos for my kids when they had the sears studio and a girl was working there was amazing she always helped us and did her best to take our new born sons passport photo i don't remember her name starts with M mihik or something she used to work at Walmart location as well sometime but this time i did not see her i guess she doesn't work there anymore . but this time the girl works there has no customer service skill and she calls herself manager no wonder why they lose the good staff it was horrible she didn't even know what size of passport i would need . i ended up not taking it and never show up after she asked me to come back to pick up the photos.

Wrose experience ever! We went there for my little one's passport photo, and waste 2hours can't get even one photo. The lady there don't know how to take photos for a baby. She was very impatient and rude, refuse to service us after a few trys. She told us the baby can't open mouth, no oil on the face which are BS! We went to the photoshop at Canada Place today. It took 2 minutes to have the photo done perfectly. No need to rub my baby's face try to get oil off because they use a reflector. Open mouth is ok because he is just a baby. This place is unprofessional and irresponsible! Your staff should go back and get trained how to take a proper photo for little ones and the standard of passport photo. Or the management need to take off the baby's passport photo service , because you don't know how ! AVOID this place if you need a professional photo . Plus, the price is much more expensive then other ones!

My fiance and I were visiting from Vancouver BC, we loved the scene of snow so Jamie Ward took some on location snow engagement pictures. She was great, the best. We had an amazing experience with her. She was talented, friendly, easy to talk to, and just down for anything. She really made us feel comfortable and she was flexible. She also got our pictures ready and edited on the same day. When met Lisa back in the studio to choose our pictures Lisa was great and welcoming, she was very patient and explained the different packages we could choose very clearly. The download (digital copies) were ready as soon as got back from choosing our pictures and our photo prints (enlargements and canvas) arrived safely and fast to our home back in Vancouver. They even put in few free surprise prints, such as a year calendar. The quality of the pictures and prints are very satisfying. All and all, we experienced the true Canadian maritime hospitality and great service. The office was clean and comfortable chairs were available for waiting. %100 recommend this service

Do not come here. I worked here for a total or 16 hrs. They trick you into buying things, tell you that that is ‘really the cheapest bundle’ when there are FAR less cheaper bundles and they lie to you and tell you your passport photos will take 10-15 mins to upload. To get you in the back for a photo shoot. Also the customers SUCK. Ignorant, entitled, and be little you. Managers, didn’t even have one. They were so disorganized they didn’t find one before the old one left. Expected 3 days of training to be enough. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Took my almost 8 month old son for some “springtime” photos. The first photo shoot my son was in a VERY good mood but the photographer/assistant missed a lot of the super cute moments. I did purchase a few photos (as a mom I think you feel obligated to since it’s your child lol) but I wasn’t in LOVE with them... So I contacted Photos Unlimited and they also agreed that my photo shoot was very “one note” and they offered to have us come back for a reshoot and get replacement photos free of charge. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to try again. This time we had the manager Jen D do our photo shoot and she was spectacular! My son was not in the greatest mood this time and we had limited time to get photos before he had a meltdown. When I got to look at the final photos I was sooo pleased! She had him in multiple positions (standing, sitting, facing different directions, on his tummy etc) and we got many great shots! I would DEFINITELY recommend JEN D anytime to anyone! And I will most definitely be returning for her to do photos for us again ????

Went for passport photos. Wish we knew that they were about $27 per person instead of the $5-7 charged at other places. Staff member did a GREAT job with our photos, even detecting some minute shadows that might pose a problem. We were told that for newborn passport photos, the infant must be held sitting up, without parent's hands visible (which is pretty near impossible if you're holding her neck). Passport Canada website clearly states "for newborn babies, the photo may be taken while the child is sitting in a car seat, as long as a white blanket is placed over the seat behind the child's head." Staff need to be updated on this.

Came in for passport photos, did not know passport photos were 30 dollars each. Opted for the 90 dollars package where we got 2 passport photos, 2 off site photos and 2 in store photos. Tanya's did a great job. Took more of her time with us then we paid for on site to get some real gems of photos. When we went to select our digital images she was so busy with customers, but she dealt with all of us in time. It was great, looking forward to get our in studio photos done!

I was given Album #, password#. -Got email notification in my email to download my photos. -Not able to login in to photos unlimited website to download my photos. . -Called them, The same young guy with long hair whom i met during my visit ( Not wanted to name him here, he hadn't his employee batch with him also during my visit) received my call. I explained my problem, requested him if he could send me photos in my email id then he responded rudely saying he is busy, he MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEND IT TO ME IF HE GOT TIME BEFORE GOING HOME AND TOLD ME IF I NEEDED THEM I SHOULD GO THERE WITH DATA STICK. -Drove there around 5:15pm, the same guy was busy being COOL GUY walking around the studio. Waited some time until my turn came cause Mihir was handling other customer. I heard the guys were talking about TO CHARGE ME TO PUT MY PHOTOS IN MY DATA STICK .Then my turn came, then MR COOL guy figured it out that he was neither able to copy it to my data stick nor able send me over email. -Told Mr COOL GUY "you could have told me that information on phone before calling me with data stick to the studio in a very naive voice. -MR COOL GUY gave me NICE LOOK. Then Mihir came , He tried to solve the issue but wasn't able to do it at first . He called his manager and figured it out how to send it on data stick and gave me the photo in my data stick and also handed my the album # and password to download photos which didn't work . TO MANAGER Hey Mr Manager , If you think I owe you money for MIHIR sending me photos in my data stick and forgot to charge me for the EXTRAORDINARY service and for Mr COOL Guy for making my day and made me spent 30 minutes to give you this rating , i am willing to pay but just TRAIN MR COOL GUY some Customer service skill or just say him CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT HIS CUP OF TEA. Poor customer service, staff have to work in tech as well so not readily available. If they are with a customer in tech you could have quite a wait, and your help is rushed so they can get back to their other department. The machine I used last to print my own pictures was out of receipt paper so I called them for help and he said it's fine I just can't ring you through the cash til the pictures are printed and walked away. I am sure it would not have taken long to put in a roll of paper. And of course I had to call them again and wait for service when my photos were done after I told him I only had a few coming out anyway. Frustrating. It used to be excellent when they had staff specifically for that department.

Victoria came to our home with one says notice, to accomodate our impossible schedule. She even drove in the heavy snow. We felt comfortable with her immediately, although we never have guests in our modest home. She loves cats, and we wanted the cat to be the focus pount of all our pictures. Somehow, our aged cat posed for sweet Victoria for several remarkable shots, and then Victoria got the cat to cooperate for the rest of the special session with my 3 sons and me as a group and individually. We were all so happy, and it was a unique happy memorable time. I felt like Victoria was part of our family. Needless to say, all the pictures turned out sensationally well, and they were ready before Christmas in time for my mom’s 90th birthday. My sons thought that this personal session was the best idea I had ever had. I am grateful to Victoria, as well as relieved that the full package was affordable. Thank you Victoria for a permanent wonderful memory.

Went to the photo studio at 5:03pm on Sat for passport pics for my daughter. Attendant said she was now closed and couldn't do it. We could return on Sun from 10 to 6. Went back there at 3pm on Sun to be told she is doing a session and we can come back later. So the studio has a single employee? And you are told not to make appointments for passport pics? So go and maybe you'll get lucky and be attended to? Try dressing a 9 yr old and be turned away....twice. Not my definition of service.

Went there to get the passport photos for my 5 year and 9 months old son but attendant there told that they don't do passport photos for less than 6 years old kids. Strange policy of Walmart.

Just got ID photos from here for me and my husband 2 photos of each of us cost $69.00!!!! It literally took less than 10 seconds to take the pictures and we came out with 2 passport sized photos each.Extortionate price will NEVER come back here. Do NOT recommend ????

Do not get photos done here for government documents such as passports. Multiple mistakes on our pictures such as glare and stamping both pictures which were not approved. Also they charge double reputable businesses and don't have professional experienced employees that even show up for work. I took the pictures to a better shop at Canada place and they pointed out all the flaws.
