They take decent photos. But we kind of didn’t get adequate time to change costumes. Lot of backdrops and props were promised but not provided. Rushed!!! 3weeks taken to provide edited pictures but they didn’t look anything different/special I had to call 3 times to get my pictures

Me and my family didn't expect that we would have a really great time at our photo session with Amy and the staff... Amy was very dynamic to work with. She made us feel at ease even while instructing us with the poses; and we can say for sure that we had fun during the whole session, that we didn't even notice the time. The $20 certificate for their free portrait promo (the one that originally costs a hundred bucks) is a little bit misleading though... although I understand that it's a part of their marketing strategy. It's actually a part of a their photo session package that you should avail, which could come with a photobook, a set of framed outputs from a selected material and the digital copy. The printed delivery is good... and Amy has been very responsive with our inquiries and follow-ups. Overall, I would say that this is ideal for a big group or a big family so that the members can contribute in the payment. In the end, a photo session is a priceless opportunity anyway, for the whole family to experience together... with outputs that will always be treasured and that could last a lifetime.

We had such an amazing experience with Amy and the snap photography team. Everyone was wonderful but Amy is unbelievably talented and captured all of our 5 kids personalities so well, as well as our two large puppies! She’s very tolerant and has many beautiful poses and tricks up her sleeve you wouldn’t even imagine. We also did our business shots with her and we will be back. Just a phenomenal job for the price. We are so grateful. Thank you.

This is a studio providing a range of services including portraits, passport photos and other photography products. The store facing the parking lot sharing the entrance to Hudson Bay store. As a result the place is kind of hidden unless otherwise for the shoppers entering or exciting the mall from Hudson Bay Company entrance. The shop is run by a professional photographers with very high level of customer service

Very disappointed with the customer service here. I called in advance to make an appointment and inquired for the price. The person told me that the price ranges from 40-500 dollars (depending on what you require). Lol and behold when we finished capturing our photos it’s 40$ for an 8x10”. And 250 cad for 15 pictures on a disk.

I had family/christmas pictures done on Nov. 21st. We paid a pretty penny for the digital prints, as well as 20 Christmas cards that we would be sending to family. The pictures themselves were all one background essentially, except for the Christmas ones. So already, the quality of the pictures, especially for the price, was sorely lacking. On top of that, we didn't receive the Christmas cards until December 18th, the week before Christmas. And the order I received was only for 10 cards, not all 20. So it took nearly 4 weeks to print 10 pictures, which was only half of my order. I was told they would re-order the other 10, but it's been over 2 weeks now without a peep. All of these delays and mistakes, but no compensation or refunds other than a brief "sorry". By far the worst photo studio we've used

My Family is yet to receive the Christmas 16x20 we took in Dec. We went to the Oshawa location, the pictures shown on the screen were ok, however the package prices were ridiculous even for the digital packages. Extremely unprofessional bunch, I should report to The Bay for housing such scam of a business ????

Loved working with our photographer Barbara, she was fun and friendly. It was so cool that we were able to bring our dog for a family portrait too. We have our large family print displayed in our living room, its a beautiful reminder to cherish our love.

This place deserves zero stars. First off all, this free promotion that they are offering while shopping ( you won a free 16x20) it’s free.. it’s not free, nothing is free they even charge you $20 apparently for the photographer... The person walking around handing out three cards to see if you are interested is not a promotion. It’s something That they’ve been doing for over 3 years. To be honest I feel completely scammed. After going in to get my kids photos done they charge over $50 a photo. Which is completely outrageous. Once they have you in the packages are over 800 to $1000... nobody in their right mind should pay that much for photos. Obviously it’s just a scam to get you in the door. The two women that was there are completely unprofessional.. I was told it would be an hour of photos, and I was rushed in and out in 20 minutes. After being there, Never in my life what I recommend anyone going there again

I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing...It took forever to find a time they had available and that worked with 4 different peoples schedules (healthcare, student, fitness instructor etc.) Finally we found a date that worked and they gave us the very last time slot one day...We arrived early but the couple before us ran late, which cut our time short in the photo viewing/picking room. they instead asked us to come back another day to choose the photo, even though it took us 3 months to get together, and even though my first question before we even hit the photo viewing room was "is it an option here to take them all on the disk" (We had done another photo studio a few years back and it was an option) We had one free print (which we didnt even end up getting) and I know my family is VERY indecisive, so to not run over time any more, and to just be able to get the whole list of pictures on a disk was all we wanted...They said yes hesitantly, but darted around giving it to us and instead proceeded to show us all the pictures and photo combos ( dotted with "are you sure you dont want to come back another day to pick out shots?" "maybe just 2 of you can come since your schedules dont line up often" because it was taking a while to go over it all... ) holy moly, just take my money and let us leave! When we were able to take the time to actually look through the photos at home, I was VERY pleased with the props and backdrops but VERY DISAPPOINTED with how the photographs turned out in a number of poses. The photographer wasn't very tall and kept getting up on a step stool...except that she would go way above us (my short mother even pointed out a few times "are you sure you aren't making me look even shorter?!") she reassured us it was fine... but our lower bodies look shrunken in so many photos...Disproportionate to our top halves... Pros: She did take some solo shots of each person which was great for linkedin profile pics etc., had variety (but again, quite a few 'shruken' looking ones) and she was pleasant enough throughout the whole shoot. didnt make us feel rushed even though we were late (though we kept moving quickly to not be rude, since we were their last appt) Cons...I guess I was expecting a photostudio in the Bay to be at a higher standard then sears or something...

I was able to get a variety of photos done while I was in various yoga postures. Barbara did a great job capturing the best angles that showing what I'm able to do (I never see myself this way). She even managed to capture some humourous candid moments. Overall I had a great experience.

My husband and i were approached by a lady in front of the bay during christmas and won 1 free print and shoot. I scheduled it for a newborn family session just a couple of weeks ago. Usually studios will charge you extra for each person to be in the photo but that wasnt the case here (which wouldve been a lot of money to shoot 4 people). Antonella was amazing! She was very accommodating and patient shooting both my 4 year old and my 3 week year old seperately and together. The photos turned out fantastic! After the shoot, they took us into a room where we got to choose 20 pictures that they can brush up and explain the packages. It is very pricey and start around 300 for just the cd of 20 pictures. For just an extra 100 you get some prints and a canvas which is worth it! Within a couple of weeks they arrived! Would like to thank antonella and her team for capturing special moments of me and my family! I will return there again.

Overly aggressive sales tactics are a huge turn off for me. My sister and I were leaving Hudson's Bay when we were stopped by a woman offering us a free gift, which was actually the opportunity to purchase a photo session for $25 instead of the usual $125. Definitely a bargain, but blindsiding people and asking them to pay upfront for a session they have to come back for later leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't appreciate the woman's tone when she asked for her coupon back after my sister and I declined. It was tacky and embarrassing, so I will definitely go someplace else to get my family photos done.

I wish I could give zero stars. Before getting the pictures taken I asked numerous people NUMEROUS times what the prices were for packages. No one gave me prices they just kept saying after the photoshoot I would be taken to a room to view the photos and discuss prices. The photographer was great with my kids she did a really good job. After the photoshoot we were brought into a room where the starting price for a package was about $350 which didn't include prints it was a disk with a certain amount of your photos...I was extremely upset as they scam you into taking the pictures and show you them and then drop these RIDICULOUS prices on you. It's a scam. I would never ever recommended the studio nor would I ever return. I paid $282 for a disk with only 20 pictures out of 65. The pictures from the disk couldn't even be loaded at walk mart or superstore and i had to get the studio to email me the pictures. When i opened the pictures they had black spots all over them, im now in the process of trying to get a refund. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PICTURES. IT IS A RIP OFF. Walmart could do the same job for a third of the price. Do NOT go here!

I benefited from a promo for a portrait and photo session. Glad it took it, because I was really happy with the photos from the session. There were so many great shots, I had to purchase a family photo book. No regrets, the quality of it was great.

They have no pricing structure. They take the pictures and then make you pay an arm and a leg for them. We got our photos done, waited and then got taken into a room where a girl made up prices as she went along. They were cute and after buying everyone an outfit and going there we just ended up buying them. Wouldn't go there again. Might as well get a photographer to come to you.

They do not have any price structure . Prices are not written/displayed .I believe they charge based on the customer. They will rip you off when you are done with taking picture. High Price for the quality same as Iphone. Please do not go there.I would have given them less than 0 if possible.

I had a wonderful experience at the Snap Photo Studio! The photographer, Amy, knew exactly how to get the right photo for my needs and provided a wide range of perspectives to chose from. She was incredibly friendly and engaging, and worked diligently to ensure that I was happy with the results. I highly recommend this studio, and Amy in particular, if you require photos for business cards or other promotional material for real estate or other self-employed businesses. I have gotten many compliments on my photos, most commonly regarding the position and angle of the shot and how it suits my purposes. Overall, I am very pleased!

They do an Ok job, no better or worse than any other portrait studio. The pricing is ridiculously high. The cheapest package is $350 and its just a cd with some of the pictures from the shoot. If you want anything cool, like a canvas portrait, it will cost almost $1000. They use pressure to try to force a sale once you're stuffed into the viewing room. Even if you say no several times, they keep pestering. I won't go back here again.

First off -- I HATE having photos taken. This is the first photographer to make me feel comfortable. She was very accommodating and has a great eye for the "right" photo. Was very good at including our family dog. She took different group poses and individual shots -- some of the best photos we've ever gotten! Highly recommend for families -- or if you need individual shots for professional use.

My family had the best experience with our Photographer, Amy! Amy was full of energy and kept our kids fully engaged. She was creative, professional and super flexible with what worked for us. We received our fully edited photos very quickly and we were thrilled with the final result. We highly recommend working with Amy at Snap Studio
