Not only did Josh's photos leave us with beautiful memories of our wedding that let us relive the joy, laughter, tears, and fun, but having him as a part of our wedding was truly a highlight in and of itself! We hired Josh for two days of wedding photography, and he KILLED IT. We knew that Josh would be an awesome choice for our wedding because of his excellent work. He has a wonderful eye for lighting and background, and his portfolio makes it clear that he is able to capture the true essence of the couples/family that he photographs. So it was no surprise to us when the pictures we got of our wedding were FANTASTIC (and a super quick turn around, too!). Based on skill alone, he is an easy choice. However, we were blown away at how interpersonally amazing he was, as well! Josh seamlessly integrated himself into our wedding day. He was organized, diligent, and clearly made a point to follow my shoot list to a tee. He needed no direction, and adapted to timeline changes with ease. Josh, more so than any other vendor we worked with or any other wedding photographer I've seen (and I've been a part of many weddings!) seamlessly made himself a part of the wedding experience. That is to say, he really felt the vibe of us as a couple, and the vibe of the room, and he won over every guest that he interacted with! This meant that everyone felt truly comfortable (even those who hate having their photo taken). This also meant that we were rewarded with excellent candid shots as a result. Josh was the perfect mix of funny, kind, and respectful. We had a bit of an nontraditional wedding in that it was split over 2 days, with a reception on day 1 and a Halloween party (with costumes and everything) on day 2. Josh was totally up for the nontraditional. Josh even showed up in a brilliant yet subtle costume for day 2. The man is brilliant! If this isn't enough to convince you to hire Josh yet, know that his prices are great for the high quality of work he produces, he sent sneak peaks very quickly after the wedding, and we got over 1400 expertly edited shots in barely a month after the big day(s). Further, we got so many compliments from our guests about Josh, which tells us that our feelings about him were mirrored by our entire guest list, as well. Josh added such a glorious element to our wedding day. I'm confident that he will do the same for yours!

Josh was quick to reply to set up a day for your family photoshoot. He was calm, patient and kind to our 9 month old daughter. He made its an easy and relaxing environment to be photographed in. We laughed a lot and he did a great job at capturing beautiful moments. Within two weeks we can our photos back, each photo had he magical touches, you can tell he put time, effort and thought into each photo. I love that they are on a private website where we can view and download at our leisure. I ended up printing one on canvas for our living room, and 9 more for around the house! It was so hard to choose just one! Highly recommend Josh, we will be using him for any and all future photographing needs!

The day of our wedding he arrived on time and was the perfect mixture of professional and relaxed. He had some great ideas for places and different shots. During the ceremony and reception Josh blended in with the guests quite comfortably. We were very happy with the quality and turn-around time for our final photos. From the beginning Josh was kind, respectful, professional and charismatic. He listened to what my partner and I envisioned for our wedding day and he made it happen. At our engagement shoot, Josh greeted us with warmth and had great suggestions that yielded spectacular results. On the wedding day, Josh was communicative, professional and a real charmer with our families. Everyone had a great time being photographed by (and just chatting with) Josh. Josh captured our wedding in Kingston just a few days ago (August 2020). He was timely and extremely knowledgeable of the area - which made for some artsy and beautiful photos. We got married downtown during tourist season but he was able to make the photos look both intimate and candid. He was extremely flexible and helpful in the process leading up to the wedding as well. He is efficient and makes the photos fun to be a part of. Even when I threw some last minute group photos at him, he was professional and did a great job. As for the results, I can't say how pleased and impressed I am with the quality of his work. His eye for framing and lighting is both thoughtful and meticulous - an indication of his clear talent. The colours aren't too saturated and the photos pop in a natural looking way. He really is able to make any location and its subjects look as if they belong together. If there's one thing I tell people to invest in on their wedding day, it's a good photographer. In 50 years you won't remember the flavour of your cake, but you will remember all the intimate and special moments because of the photos taken. Let Josh be a part of creating a memory that will last a life time. While I can tell you that he is worth every dollar, his work speaks for itself. The memories they encapsulate are truly priceless.

Not only are Josh’s photos stunning, he’s a great guy who is easy to get along with, and was a top-notch professional the year and a half that we were in contact with him leading up to our wedding. Josh was truly able to capture the essence of us. The photos are stunning, largely due to his fantastic use of lighting and location. Our personalities truly shone through in all of the pictures. We never felt posed or placed, but Josh had lots of great ideas and suggestions when we needed them. He embraced our love of the outdoors and really captured the happiness of our special day.
