She has a lovely teaching style that encourages individual expression, while offering technical instruction. The projects are creative and beautiful. The environment is comfortable and welcoming. I went to the Creative Palette in hopes that my special piece I painted on canvas could be framed. I knew little about this process and hoped I would get direction and assistance. Heather did not disappoint. Heather new exactly what would compliment my painting and I felt comfortable leaving my special piece with her knowing she would take very good care of it. The price was on point and would absolutely support local than the chain stores, especially with my special piece. Please contact Heather with all your needs, she is wonderful to work! I hired Heather to give my daughter private art classes ... she needed to learn to sketch so her portfolio would be complete for her university applications. While very creative, she literally could not draw before she came to see Heather. Heather taught her well. She is now in second year at OCAD U in Toronto.
