She was patient and kind when our baby had to be fed during our allotted photography time and still continued the shoot with the same enthusiasm as when she originally started. She had some great suggestions for various poses and her studio is well set up and very welcoming. The photographs she chose and edited came out beautifully and we were so pleased with them that we have booked her for an outdoor family photoshoot. Amazing work by Mi Zen Photography, I visited Jessi's studio for a family shoot when I visited Canada, I'm a photographer from the UK and straight away I was amazed at the level of professionalism that goes into the studio setup, the image quality, the edits... Everything you could ask for from a studio session all in one! Next time I come to Canada I'll be booking in with my newborn for sure! I couldn't recommend Jessi's work enough, her images just pop and look so perfect and natural. Even through the tough times of a pandemic, when the studio reopened I felt completely safe entering as Jess sanitized every inch of the studio ready for the next client! 5 Starts isn't enough!

I booked my newborn photography session after looking at many profiles online and Jessi’s aesthetic caught my eye. After reaching out, I received a prompt response and a VERY detailed email about the process, studio and requirements, especially during this pandemic. I then filled out a thorough questionnaire that would align my preferences and vision with Jessi’s and together I think we created some magic! Jessi’s studio is gorgeous and very welcoming and has the perfect ambiance and setting for a newborn. It’s warm, cozy and quiet, while also catering to the other guests that may join with beverages and TV to watch. I was very impressed with Jessi’s patience and ability to handle my newborn in a manner that made me feel comfortable and confident that my baby was in capable hands and was safe. Jessi has every gadget and gizmo to lull your baby to sleep, including white noise machines, a heater and her magic touch. She was patient when I needed to nurse my baby and change multiple diapers and even when he was fussy. She even gave me a package of brand new soothers, to capture the perfect image, on the house! I received my photos within the timeframe she gave me and was not disappointed. I would recommend her services to anyone! She is fantastic !

Her home studio is beautiful and has everything needed to make the photos perfect, including scores of accessories and settings. Jessi herself was fantastic with our son and was able to (somehow) get him to relax for a beautiful shoot (again he was three months at the time). She is also very open to funny or original shots or she can guide you if it's your first time or if you are not comfortable with doing your own poses.
