My husband and I highly recommend Crista Lee and further, want to speak in detail regarding our experience. After interviewing three different wedding photographers, my husband and I chose Crista Lee based on her professionalism, portfolio, and our connection with her. Specifically, she showed us examples of her editing process that takes the quality of her photos to the next level, a step that we were told by other photographers "was not necessary." Our wedding was to take place at the Nordic Centre on June 22, 2013; however, due to the floods that year our wedding was cancelled. It's a long story that can be found on the Internet, but to say that Crista Lee went above and beyond for us is an understatement. We managed to proceed with an impromptu ceremony as my husband and I were stranded in Canmore. Our weeding consisted of ourselves, a couple friends that were living in Canmore, and Crista Lee. She captured our love but also our heartache as our special day happened in the midst of a natural disaster and with no family or friends present. The photos from that day are priceless to my family and I. Recently, Crista-Lee has taken our family photos with the addition of each of our darling daughters and again, priceless. She is a highly skilled photographer and captures unique moments that are with you forever, hanging beautifully on your wall. I am happy to write a most positive and authentic review for Crista Lee and her business, professionalism, and exceptional photography skills.

We booked Crista for a family photo shoot in the beautiful town of Canmore. Crista has this innate ability to connect with nature and with each person in front of the lens. For someone like myself who is uncomfortable in front of a camera, Crista's warm, fun, and genuine personality, puts everyone at ease to capture natural snapshots in time. I will chime in on the chorus of positive feedback for Crista Lee. In the end, I was really happy with: Quality of the photos, willingness to discuss expectations with us (even while she was on vacation), general positive attitude and energy (even though we were up early for the heli wedding!), and ability to listen. We clearly outlined what we hoped to have out of the photos and the day and I would say we are completely satisfied. She was also very willing to adapt to achieve what we wanted, which was great. After the heli part we wanted a lot of nice family photos and we had a great session near a lake for some beauty photos. Definitely recommend Crista Lee. Be honest and clear about your expectations (no matter who the photographer is really...) and she will take care of the rest!

My husband and I were married last year in Banff, and it would have been so incredibly stressful if it hadn't been for Crista Lee! Two weeks before our wedding, unexpected circumstances prevented our original photography plans from happening, so left without a photographer with such little time, we were beyond stressed! I emailed Crista Lee and explained our situation, and her warm heart and kind nature was an immediate relief. I was so touched when she decided to help us. Because we are from out of the area, I first met her when I was walking down the aisle, and upon seeing her enthusiasm and expertise, I knew that there was absolutely nothing to worry about. Despite the smokey air that summer, the photos were absolutely STUNNING, and I could not be happier! My girlfriend and I did a session in January with Crista Lee, just looking to have some really cool winter photos of us. We have had lots of experiences with photographers before but this one was by far the best! Crista-Lee suggested a really amazing location and we are glad we took her word for it. Crista Lee took our wedding photos, and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out!! We eloped in Lake Louise last April, and we live in Toronto, so not only was there not a lot of time to iron out details, but we couldn't meet with her in person. I found other photographers in the Banff/Canmore/Lake Louise area who had nice photos, but Crista Lee won me over almost immediately with her kind disposition, and genuine excitement about capturing our day!
