Before you talk to anyone else for your wedding, call Paul. Seriously, he is the gold standard that every other wedding photographer/wannabe photographer in Ottawa (probably Canada) should be measured against. Just look at his resume! Before Paul arrived at my venue, it felt like so many little things were going wrong and that my wedding was not a priority to any of my vendors. Paul honestly made my wedding day. He made us feel so special. During my husband's shoot with his groomsmen, a beautiful vintage car rolled up to the venue and Paul just walked right up to the guy and asked him to use the car in the shoot. He knew it would make the shot, and it definitely did. I honestly feel that only someone with his experience could have seen the car and thought to do this. During my shoot, what was supposed to be just some pictures around the horse stable on site, turned into him shooting me and a horse (a rather energetic one at that!), he rolled with it like the pro he is. These are just a couple examples of how Paul went above and beyond for us on our day. Every shot was amazing, people think I spent thousands but honestly his prices are extremely reasonable. So check with Couvrette Studio first, and compare everyone else against him... but I guarantee you Paul is the best wedding investment you will make!

Where do I start? I reached out via email to the owner wanting some photographs of my product. He replied and suggested that I dropped the merchandise at his shop in a drop box due to Covid. I obliged and dropped them off. I sent him examples of how I want the shots to be. I told him to take 9 different photographs of the product. He quoted me at $ 200 and said they would be ready in 3 days. That was on a Friday. On Monday morning he sent me an email with just one attached photograph and told me that they were ready to pay off first before I get them. I told him that I need to see the remaining of the photographs before submitted payment. I am just not going to pay you for work I haven’t seen. I asked him that if he would pay for a job he hasn’t seen and of course he didn’t answer. Deep down he knows he wouldn’t, no one would. Owner never replies to my email. I sent him two more emails that same day with no response. Finally later that afternoon he emailed me again the same photograph and told me that is “proof” and I should pay first to get the other ones. I replied and told him he can either shows me the photographs in his office or send ma a link where I can see them. He again refuses. I asked him then to return my merchandise if he can’t fulfill my simple request. He refused to do that as well. So now he’s in possession of unreturned property. I discussed with my lawyer and a lawsuit will be coming his way. This guy is the worst “business” person I have ever dealt with. I wish there was an option for zero star. 1 star is too generous for scum like you.
