Even though I'm generally uncomfortable with having my picture taken, the photographer was very friendly and professional and the appointment was over pretty quickly. I went online to look at the proofs a week or so later and had a good number of options to choose from. Overall I'm very happy, and my parents loved the pictures!

New Paramount was booked to take grad photos at my university. The photographer knew what he was doing, but was kind of a snob; he turned his nose up at the fact that I still shoot some of my photographs in film. I really didn't appreciate the superiority complex. Print quality was good when I ordered. Don't get the packages unless you really want the quantity. Picking what you need is so much more economical. Photo editing, well, the colour balance and skin correction was on par, but the close cropping was horrendous. Looked as though an amateur took the magic wand and set the feather to a high pixel count. There was such obvious dithering around my hair that those edits should not have passed as a professional retouch. Please reconsider your close cropping technique when it comes to hair. My 21 year old self (a few years back) could do a better job than this.

He really make me feel comfortable and got me to smile (i don't usually smile in pictures). He also brought fun props. The images were processed quick and were ready for pick up before I knew it. All together it was a great experience.

I had an incredible experience when having my graduation photos taken by New Paramount Studios. I'm not an easy customer to please and have many demands and high expectations and New Paramount Studios was able to meet and exceed these expectations. I adore all my photos. They are professional and amazing quality and I felt that I was treated very well during my photoshoot. I couldn't decide between photos and ended up ordering the majority of them (multiple copies) and I have them all on display in my house. Very disappointed with my graduation pictures. The colours are so dark and the position that I was asked to be in normally feel uncomfortable and exaggerated but usually turn out nice, but my positioning doesn’t look natural at all and my head is looking away. I also never have a lazy eye but in ALL of my pictures one of my eyes was much smaller than the other, I wish I was told about it so I could focus on correcting it. I was looking forward to purchasing some pictures to be able to capture this memory of a life time (to be graduating nursing school) but unfortunately I will not be purchasing any. I do not even feel like it was worth my sitting fee. One positive: my photographer was professional and friendly.

If you have any alternative options, do not use this photography studio. I had my graduation photos taken by them because my university used their service. The first shoot was rushed, but professional and friendly. I was unhappy with the first photos, and they were extremely over-exposed (no detail or skin tone in my face). I had to go to their studio for a second shoot, and the photographer was extremely flustered and didn't seem to know how to operate his computer or camera. For most of the shots, he couldn't get his shutter to go off, so my face looks forced and uncomfortable in most of the photos. He posed me in unflattering ways, so most of the proofs from the second shot weren't great either. I ended up choosing two photos and paying a fortune for them, hoping that their promise of "touch ups, colour corrections and editing" would help. I waited 2 weeks beyond the expected 4-6 week wait time, and didn't recieve my photos, so I emailed them asking about their status. They informed me that the prints I paid to have shipped to my home were in the studio for pick up. I told them that I paid for shipping, and then they agreed to send them. What came in the mail did not "surpass my expectations" as their website promises. The photos were barely (and badly) retouched, my skin still had very little colour or definition, and the prints had a green hue to them. I ended up editing them myself and got significantly better results. I would never recommend this company.

I had an amazing time during my photo shoot with new paramount studios. I booked an appointment for my university graduation and couldn't be happier with the quality of the photos and the variety of options to choose from in terms of backgrounds,touch ups and poses. What really made my experience memorable was how friendly, easy going and professional the photographer was! I initially came in a little nervous since it was my first experience taking photos in a studio but the photographer made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. He purposely made me laugh by cracking some jokes so I could smile a genuine smile in the pictures while he took them. The pricing is also pretty decent. They vary from some affordable packages to more expensive packages. You decide which you prefer. The wait time in receiving the photos were not long at all especially considering I ordered over 10 photos. I'd definitely recommend new paramount for anyone looking for a professional studio to take gorgeous pictures. I'll definitely be coming back here for future picture taking! :)

We have used New Paramount Studios for our graduation photos and we were very happy with their turnout. So, we also chose New Paramount Studios to photograph our intimate backyard wedding. They had the best prices and a quick response time. In their package, they also include lifetime portraits in their studio if you book your wedding photos with them! They also have very friendly and helpful customer service. Selina was very nice and quick to respond to any questions we had! Our photographer Giuliano was the BEST!! He was friendly, helpful, funny, and had very creative ideas for our photos. He even let us borrow an extra tripod last minute so that our friend could use it for our wedding livestream. We loved every second of him being at our wedding. All of our wedding guests loved him too! Any time we need professional photos, we are definitely going with New Paramount Studios.

My name is Bianca and I work for the University of Toronto. I met the owner of New Paramount Studios (Joncarlos Lista) on Wednesday, October 27th 2021. I have an entire report filed with my director and with others at the university, which highlights the unprofessionalism I experienced with Joncarlos. Joncarlos made a delivery at U of T on Wednesday, October 27th 2021, blocking an active loading dock for over 30 minutes. I have a photo of this and would be happy to share if the claim is disputed. There are several signs in this area that clearly indicate that you cannot park your vehicle here and you especially cannot leave your vehicle unattended. A delivery person told me about the vehicle and we waited for Joncarlos for over 30 minutes. When I saw him and explained that he had created a line-up for the loading dock, he quickly dismissed me telling me he had permission to park there, which was untrue. He then begun to unload the contents of his vehicle. I told him to please move his car over, so others could begin their deliveries. He eventually did and when he walked back towards the loading dock, he yelled and screamed at me, calling me and the driver a liar, creating a very uncomfortable environment for myself and for those around us. I've worked at the university for 6 years and have never had such an unpleasant interaction before. I gave Joncarlos an opportunity to apologize (the U of T staff member that ordered from him passed him my email address) and he never did. I think that speaks volumes about him and about this company.

Great people; I arrived earlier than my appointment and expected plenty of waiting, but they were quite accommodating and bumped up my picture taking since other people were late. They were also cordial and fun to work with overall, so I definitely recommend.

Took my graduation photos here yesterday. The photographer was extremely rude and unnecessarily aggressive towards me and my friends. He was unclear about a lot of the poses and I felt very nervous during the session since he would get frustrated at me really easily. Instead of telling me with words about the poses he had in mind, he told me to copy him, and when I didn't understand him properly, he quickly got annoyed. The things he said to me during the session were "you're so stiff.", "you don't know how to have fun". As a professional photographer, it is YOUR job to make the model feel comfortable in order to capture their most natural state. Try talking to your models nicely next time, a lot of us don't have experience with modelling so it would be nice to have a photographer that's more patient and open to communication.

I got my graduation pictures done with New Paramount and found their service to be great. The photographer at my university was very kind and helpful during all the shots. I placed my order on their online system which was very straight forward. I went with the option to pick up my order from their location, which was a journey for me to get to but well worth it. The staff at the studio were very nice and I was in and out fast with my images. I love the quality of my images and would definitely recommend this studio.

Paramount Studios was a very professional company, and I was mostly happy with the results of the photo session for graduation. To be honest, the photographer really did not make me feel comfortable, and did not address my concerns during the shoot. I felt like an object and I was not impressed. I thought a good variety of shots were taken. Ordering photos online was a breeze, and the quality of photos was quite good. I ended up not choosing a package, and the ability to mix and match was much appreciated.

I would strongly recommend staying away. We chose to go with new paramount because two of my sisters had their wedding photos done here and they also happen to be in our neighbourhood. We had our pictures taken in early November so that we could give a few prints away to family and friends for Christmas. As of writing this ( Dec 22nd ) we have spent more then $500 and have nothing to show for that money. As a base line for business receiving the images that have been paid for should be a given but, our experience is much worse then just not getting what we have paid for. We have also been gouged every step of the way and treated like chumps. It's left me feeling like an idiot for choosing this place to get the photos done. For our initial photo shoot we were charged over $150 dollars. This is a little high for getting a family portrait done but, at the time we were thinking these guys were really good so we went for it. The studio and camera equipment were not great and the photographers did not help to make the session comfortable. We left with a very uneasy feeling. The pictures turned out to be ok but, nothing special as the price would indicate. We then learned what it would cost to bring our mediocre images home. Notice these prices are not on their web site or any front facing text. There were a few options but basically it amounted to either having 1 8x10 print for $30 or buying a cd of images for well over $400. Like an idiot I opted for the cd thinking that getting the digital images fast and just paying these guys off would put an end to this mess ( already I was dead set on never going back ). It felt like our images were being held ransom and paying over $400 was a bitter pill to swallow just to get the digital copies. I should also mention that at no point were we ever told what getting our images would cost and of course I was to stupid to ask until I had already spent close to $200 with tax. Please look around at the rates others provide for this service. This is a blatant rip off. The process of putting these on a CD has been such trouble for new paramount that it has taken them over 3 weeks and now that they are on Christmas break. I won't have the photos for my family and friends this christmas.... seriously frustrating when paying a huge premium for service. Even though its a local business and I really truly wanted to support them AND the fact that my family and these guys have had a long relationship they have done everything to put themselves ahead of their customer in my experience.

The props were supplied for Easter theme, and the photography team that worked with my children were amazing! I urge you to steer clear of this company. They are an absolute joke. First off, the shoot was extremely rushed and unprofessional. Second, their prices are astronomical. For example, $600 for 10 digital images, not even printed. Third, their "processing" times after ordering were, like the previous reviewer, 8 weeks instead of 4-6 (keep in mind I ordered literally two pictures). Finally, again like the previous reviewer, they also called me after 8 weeks and informed me that my photos were ready for pickup in downtown Toronto instead of mailing them to me as instructed. This company should be out of business. I urge you not to give them your money.

My university hired NPS to do our grad photos, and my review is a combined commentary on my two photo shoots. The first seating (at my university) did not meet our expectations, but I will give full credit to how NPS accommodated our request for a retake. I enjoyed the shoot at their St. Clair W studio; it has an intimate, homely feel to it and is tastefully decorated. I felt at home during the shoot, and it showed in my appearance in my photos. Customer service was courteous, and we did not feel rushed at any point during our visit. I will be back, but only at their studio where better equipment is on hand. My graduation photos were so poorly edited I couldn't believe it. As a photo editor myself, I know for a fact that the job was done by someone who clearly did not care to take the time to give me my money's worth. When I called to ask for assistance they told me I'd have to come all the way to the studio (which is VERY far from me, during business hours - not convenient for me) to show them the photos & ask for redos. Extremely disappointed.

I am very satisfied with Paramount Studio's customer service. The shoot at my university was fine, but the photos I received airbrushed my beauty mark off ! Paramount Studios was very understanding and did not hesitate to fix my photos at no additional cost and send them as soon as they were ready. I was really happy that they were accommodating and turned an unhappy situation into a happy one !

I had my graduation photo done by New Paramount and the overall experience was disappointing. 1) The photographer was friendly, but the shots he took were very unflattering and the angles were off. Unfortunately, I didn't get the see the photos until I went to order. The fact that they have you pay $20 just to take the photo and then another $20 if you're disastisfied with the shots forces you to pay whether you're happy with the results or not. 2) The prices of the photo packages are very expensive. And shipping is an extra $12-15. The only good part is that there's the option for free pick up at the store. 3) The part I'm most disatisfied with is the low quality of the photos. The photos were blurry and printed on cheap paper, not professional photo paper. I probably would have gotten a better print job with higher quality at Staples. I would not recommend this studio to anyone wanting to print quality, well-priced photos. Unfortunately, I had no choice as they were the mandatory company selected by my school.

I highly recommend working with New Paramount Studios to capture your memories through photography, I recently worked with them to take my graduation pictures and it was a very successful experience! I worked with photographer Oleg, he was professional and very attentive to creating the image I wanted to portray in my pictures. Unfortunately, I was sick the day of that shoot and I didn't like that I personally looked sick so I decided to get a retake. Oleg once again helped me with that process, and then I worked with photographer Josh. Josh was also professional and very attentive, he let me decide what poses I wanted and from what angle I wanted the shots to be taken. Next I placed my order online and the process was simple and easy to understand. I accidentally ordered the wrong size for one of my shots and I e-mailed the company to let them know and their Admin person named Patricia quickly helped me to fix the issue (she responded the same day to my e-mail within a few hours). I recommend this company because their customer service is impeccable and they truly care about delivering what you want through their pictures. Choose New Paramount Studios for your next photography shoot and you won't be disappointed!

Wow! All I can say is amazing! My husband and I did a studio photoshoot for an hour and the photographer was great! He made it fun and easy to pose and the photos were accessible a couple hours after the session. The photos were more than I expected and Im so pleased and definately recommend paramount studios to everyone!!

I had the opportunity to have my university (York University) graduation photo taken by New Paramount Studios. At the sit in the photographer was very pleasant and understanding in what I wanted. He made sure that all shots were perfect (e.g, no stray hairs, position was nice etc). The entire sit in was about 30 minutes. At the end he showed me all my shots and asked if I had any special requests. I said everything was perfect. It took about a few weeks for me to get the proofs and I was very happy with them. I ended up ordering an 11x14 and it is how framed and sitting in my parent's living room. Overall, I am very happy with New Paramount Studios photography and representative. I highly recommend them if you plan on getting professionally photos done.

My school contracted New Paramount Studios for our grad photos and I was really satisfied with their service. When I informed them that I wasn't satisfied with the shots they offered a retake, free-of-charge, at their studio downtown. The photographer took his time and made sure to understand what I wanted. I am really happy with my photos and I will definitely be back!

I found them on event source, they are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I received an email from Patricia, stating what we needed for our wedding, she replied stating some information she needed, and that I could call her and speak and what not, mind you this is all in email. So I said to Patricia to call me and speak as it would be better, also sharing with her details of what I needed for my wedding. She has for some reason, EXCESSIVELY DENIED ALL MY CALLS, never wrote back to me in an email, and NEVER returned my calls, no matter how busy you are, you are a business providing services, TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK. I thank God booked with another photographer, as to me, this business seemed like a scam, I also let event source know about this, and they are looking into this, and possible removing them as a vendor, as this isn't good feedback, also they said they received lots of complaints about Patricia doing this! I wasn't the first to come to them about this. I would suggest you are lucky if they return your call, maybe after seeing this post, they will actually return peoples calls! Worst service ever!

We are truly happy with what a wonderful job JonCarlo and the entire team did capturing our special day through photography and cinematography. They were always friendly, professional, very accommodating and went above and beyond for us in capturing our wedding day. They were also fast in getting us our photo's, video and prints and we were really happy with the quality of their products. Took my graduation photos here, because my university recommend it. However, I will highly recommend my friends not to order or take photos here. The reason is they overcharge and does not worth the value/price. The after colour edits are horrendous.. I guess their customer services are good. Although I did end up ordering graduation photos here. 100% did regret ordering the photos online ( my bank account crying in agony). Honestly, there are other many other great studios out there to take graduation photos. Never ever again.

I was taking some graduation photos from this studio, and the person who took picture is OKAY, but purchasing the photos are very expensive. However, it doesn't not make me want to rating for 1 star. I was ordering my pictures from them, and ordered USB storage service and it was supposed to be mailed to me. I have not received it after a couple of days, so I decided to call in. A lady answer the phone, after I politely explained I never received the USB. She was response, " YOU LITTLE LIAR!" I am feeling very offended and absolutely shocked!!! This is so UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE!!! She checked for me after she said that and figured out they didn't send the thing out. She just said it will be send out, and she quickly hanged up the phone without any apologies. Very disappointed about the service experience!!!

Came here for my graduation photos and everyone was very amicable. The photographer was very patient and made sure to ask for my opinion as well as try to get my best angles. They were able to have my proofs ready in less than a week, and I heard from other friends that some places take up to a few months even for grad photos. I was very pleased with my experience.
