What can I say about Mango and experience I had... Weddings are one of those important, life-altering, pinnacle events that you expect to be 100% hectic and challenging, and 100% magical. For me, it was both. Yes, I felt like the day went by in a blur, and there were a few hiccups along the way in other vendors... But confidently I can say that my experience with Mango studios was such an enjoyable, stress-free process that I truly wish they had more than just photography to offer! First off, Melissa. Melissa has a calming personality. While I can be an emotional mess (super excited or super sad or super mad), she was like a calm pond. Even if she was concerned about timing, or pictures, or travelling, she never showed it. Melissa was both incredibly kind and warm and caring, but professional. She found last minute photography areas that we could use as our "creative shots" when I informed her that my plans had to be changed. Without being too bossy, she helped my husband and I get the perfect angle to capture the shot. She told us "be natural, be in love, and I will guide you" and that's what she did. No squished noses for us or double chins (haha). Beyond this, her talent is incredible. I am humbled each time I look at both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures because I could never be able to create something so beautiful. There is an artistry that cannot be taught in photography, and Melissa breathes it. For the studio itself, Mango. Dealing with Mango was as easy as breathing. Frances, who I dealt with for scheduling, payments and every day concerns, would get back to my emails almost immediately. For a panicked bride, this is very important. The friendliness of the studio, professionalism of its staff, and simple kindness in their demeanor to us left my husband and I feeling happy after our visits. Their open concept studio mirrors their culture. I truly found that they are open to new ideas, accepting of challenges and ready to find solutions, and warm and welcoming in all our exchanges. The staff there who edited my pictures, and created the perfect contrast of the Black and White shots are incredible and I only wish that I could have thanked them more in person. Overall I urge ANY brides and grooms, or newly engaged couples, or families, to choose Mango. Don't even bother looking at other studios. They will be the BEST choice you ever make, and you will NOT regret it. If you are newly engaged, make sure you add on the engagement session. Its such a great way to meet your photographers earlier before the big day so you can get to know one another, and more importantly, they can check you out too. Find out more about you so they can add personalization to your photography story. Trust me on this. Pick Mango. They are a TOP LEADING studio in Toronto for a reason. Where do we even start with Mango!! It was so enjoyable working with Steph from mango for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. She made every shoot fun and easy! When it came to our wedding day, she was AMAZING at getting all of our family members together and working through the family formals in a time efficient manner - especially when working with the little ones to look and smile at the camera! And the final pictures.. WOW!! She captured our day so perfectly. I feel like I am reliving the day over and over again every time I look through our album. We couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out. I think we might have to find a reason to have pictures done every year just so we can have Mandy take them ;)

We had great engagement photos but our wedding photos could have been a lot better. We were paired with Amanda for our two engagement shoots. Initially, she had forgotten my name and even after correcting her she continued to call me by a different name. We were impressed with our photos and her editing time was quick! Then came our wedding. We had immediate family only due to COVID. Amanda lacked enthusiasm on our wedding day. She seemed very bothered the whole day and definitely did not want to be there. This was disappointing as we already had a rather frustrating wedding planning experience and we were just so happy that our wedding could go through. She was also unnecessarily snappy and bossy to other wedding vendors. Her second shooter, Jeff was great however. We do have plenty of very well behaved nieces + nephews that she seemed to be very uncomfortable by. We were told to fill out a form that asked what we expected for our wedding photos (prior to the day.) We wanted nice family photos. A lot of her family photos were one takes and turned out horribly. Every photographer we’ve worked with in the past has tried a lot harder to get kids to smile and look at the camera. The effort was not there with Amanda. We also found it interesting that a short while after our wedding Amanda announced on Instagram that she’s going out on her own. I don’t want to draw conclusions but, I saw this “job” for her as one of her last for Mango studios therefore didn’t have to put the effort forth. Once the photos were delivered we had asked for some edits. This was a struggle as there were several revisions. For example, editing our nephew’s face with a completely different nephew’s face. We also asked about other photos as we remembered more photos being taken that we never received. After them telling us several times that they looked on Amanda’s memory cards and not finding any ... they happened to find 80 more photos. They blamed it on Jeff’s memory cards which is “interesting” as Amanda was the one taking a lot of these photos. It’s disappointing as they are a higher end photography company. We are happy with most of the photos we did receive. That being said, when we look back at our experience with Mango Studios, they do leave a poor taste in our mouth.

Searching for a wedding photographer can be stressful, since for many of us it’s the first time we had to think about these things. After some disappointment with a budget-friendly engagement shoot, we realized it was worth the money investing in true professionals. That’s what led us to Toronto’s top photographers - Mango Studios. Like any wedding, we had our surprises, but we couldn’t imagine how important it would be to have experienced photographers who are truly experts at shooting weddings. Our lead photographer Liza was awesome, one-part photographer and one part event manager, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. And our second photographer, Calvert, left no detail overlooked. Both of them helped make our day truly special and we would recommend them to anyone getting married in the city.

We used Mango for both our engagement photos and as our wedding photographer this past September and we could not be more thrilled with how our pictures turned out. Michelle was our lead photographer for both and she was a pleasure to work with. She has a design background (I think...) so she really knew what to look for in terms of capturing great shots. She arrived on time and she knew our venue (Four Seasons) and the area so was able to get the pictures done quickly so that the wedding party and family could enjoy the cocktail party but we did not feel rushed at all. She was friendly and engaging with the wedding party but sometimes you just forgot the photographers were there they were doing SUCH an amazing job. We also used the photo booth from Mango which was really fun for us and our guests (classy background and props - nothing cheesy) who loved being able to email or text themselves the pictures during the reception. About 6 weeks after the wedding we received a full edited set of colour and B&W pictures on USB, and it is presented as a photo reveal - cute concept! The price was higher than some other studios we saw online, but after one meeting with Mango and seeing the quality of their work we decided to not even bother with meeting other photographers. It is so true that you get what you pay for and we feel the quality we got was worth the price. Now our only problem is having too many great pics to choose from!

City Sniffers team beat our expectations! This is our boy's second daycare and he enjoys it more.The staff is very welcoming and always post current happenings on instagram, keeping you in the loop! We also love that they do not bombard their daycare and are at a decent capacity. Another plus, is that your pupp goes for a pack walk twice a day and they make it a very positive environment. If only they were open half day on Saturdays but they're that amazing! We couldn't be happier!!

Mango and the entire team are simply amazing. I searched for hours trying to find the best photographer to capture our wedding. I must have visited a total of 8 photographers and I knew it had to be Mango after visiting Jaycee and Jason at their office. They were super attentive and sweet and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. Liza did our engagement shoot at Scarborough bluffs and I was blown away with how good the pictures looked, and this is coming from someone that was so nervous about being photographed. Neither my husband or I feel comfortable in front of the camera, and Liza did a great job at making us feel comfortable and relaxed. The photographic results were unique and timeless. Some of the photos even resemble art. After seeing our engagement shoot pictures I couldn’t wait to see our images and the final album of our wedding day. I was not disappointed. Right after my wedding day the team send me over some amazing sneak peaks and a couple weeks after that my images were done being edited. Mango has a great eye for details and is able to capture all the special moments as they happen which I loved. On the day of our wedding Liza and Ayyyna were early and made sure every shot I wanted was taken care of before leaving at the end of the night; they also sent over sneak peaks so quickly which was awesome. I get compliments all the time on our wedding and engagement pictures that are displayed around my office, and a few of my girlfriends that aren’t even wedding planning yet have already decided they want Mango when that time comes. I highly recommend them to anyone looking.

We had a great experience with the Mango family. We talked with Mo at the beginning and he understood how important the wedding pictures were to us and how picky we were with the style and he accommodated all our requests and made sure we were happy with every details before signing the contract. We met with Frances couples months after who helped us with wedding itinerary and we planned it around the photographers. Couple of weeks before the wedding with had our engagement shoot with Tyler and that was one fun photo shoot. We were so happy with the pictures, and although we were familiar with Tyler's style and saw his work before, it was after the engagement photoshoot that we felt 100% confident and comfortable that we were in great hands. The wedding day was just smooth sailing, Tyler and Val were right on time and captured our jam-packed of a day. They were on their toes at all time to not miss a moment. We had a blast with both of them. Couple of weeks after the wedding we saw the presentation and it felt like re-living the day and we could not hold back on tears and thrilled to see the pictures. Right after, we started with Melissa and her amazing team on the album design and they worked with us and made sure we were happy with everything before putting it to print. and words can't do justice, our Fine Art album is just gorgeous. I have to say, choosing Mango Studios was one the best decision we made for our wedding. I highly recommend them.

Carl and I first fell in love with Mango Studios after seeing their gorgeous work in the Wedluxe magazine. We thought there was no way we could afford their services based on the caliber of their work. Absolutely amazing! All Mango staffs were nice and very knowledgeable. They reply emails on time and listen to what we wanted carefully. Really like their natural looking and bight style. Working with Mango Studios for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made. Not only are they professional and kind, but they are the best at what they do. My husband and I were very particular when it came to our wedding photos. We wanted a photographer who could capture candid moments and pure emotion. Mango did just that and so much more. From the moment we stepped foot into their offices, they made us feel at home and answered every single question we had. They were pricey but worth every penny. We were paired with Stevana and had an engagement shoot with her. From the second we met her, we knew it was the perfect match. My husband and I are pretty awkward in front of the camera and were a bit worried it would show through in the pictures, but Stevana was super engaging, gave us many pointers and made us feel super comfortable. The pictures came out gorgeous and I can't thank her enough! Due to COVID we unfortunately had to cancel our wedding event and Mango accommodated us and let us instead utilize them for a wedding photoshoot where we had our first looks, vow and ring exchange. They understood how difficult the decision was and still made it super special by empathizing and giving us some pretty great options for locations of where we could have it. We ultimately chose Riverwood Conservancy. It was beautiful and the pictures from the day were simply amazing. We have gotten endless compliments and Stevana captured every emotion and moment. Nadya was AMAZING! We were both pretty nervous and she made us feel really comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend doing an engagement shoot before your wedding because by the time the wedding day came we felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. The photography team was very polite, always in the right spot to capture moments that we didn’t even catch ourselves on the day, and yet almost unnoticed by our guests during the ceremony. The turn-around time for our photos was also only a couple of weeks and the photos are incredible. Going through them feels like reliving the entire day and there is a great mix of candid and more posed photos. Communication was great throughout the process. So where do I start. We had high hopes when booking them for our wedding. They had good reviews and looked professional. Our experience was unfortunately not that great. From scheduling mixups to the wedding photos that turned out just average. Few examples. We were hoping for a lot of photos of our guests at the reception. What we got multiple shots of table setups, plates, wedding cake. We also didn't get too many directions when doing our wedding photos. We are not models so it's difficult to know what to do during the photoshoot. The photos look very typical without any artistic value or interest. If we could redo the photos with someone else that would be great but unfortunately we can't. NOT A GOOD EXPERIANCE.

The customer service and level of courtesy here do not reflect the premium price that was paid. Very little effort was put into assisting and suggesting of photo shoot locations. Lack of advice for newly weds and photos taken were not prioritized for guests of importance. This studio is definitely selective of who they treat better/value as customers; Likely based on your wallet size. Our photographers were very friendly and nice, and that's about it; The staff at the office, not so much. Would not recommend.

We got our first taste of their work after we did our engagement shoot. We are a bit camera shy and explained that to our amazing photographer Lauren at our first meet. Within minutes she had us feeling super comfortable and forgetting that a camera was even on us! The engagement photos turned out amazing and we knew we were in good hands. Lauren then requested a meeting with us about a month before our big day and we had a lovely chat about our expectations and day of timeline to ensure everyone was on the same page and not beat was missed. I had my destination wedding a couple of years ago. My review might be a bit late but I realize how important it is for a small business to survive especially during covid and through these difficult lock downs and I want to make sure everyone knows how wonderful this team is to work with, So that when lockdowns are lifted and people are able to celebrate their weddings again you won’t hesitate to book mango. I still, to this day look at my pictures all the time. Where do I even start, The mango team took such amazing care of us. When we first went to meet the team, we were first greeted by Catherine. She was such a nice person we knew we were in good hands from the moment we met her. Catherine prepared a welcome sign for our first meeting with our names and served us a delicious mango cocktail. The little touches make all the difference. My photography team took the time to help me come up with the perfect photo timeline so I wasn’t stressed out on the day. Wilson suggested I do a first look because of the short time frame between my ceremony and reception and I’m so glad I did. I got to enjoy cocktail hour with my friends and family while they took such beautiful candids and portraits of our guests, specifically my flower girls. I have the cutest pics of these little girls. Leading up to my wedding I provided many Pinterest inspirational images (I was maybe a bit too detailed) but Wilson and the team analyzed all of my requests and took the time to really understand my wedding vision. What they produced was absolutely beautiful and I will cherish forever. Not only did I get amazing wedding photos but the team also took the time to capture the beautiful landscape setting around us and we got some very artistic landscape images of the island we married on. We have some of the most creative images I have ever seen. I’ve printed out a few large prints all over my home. One is a large epoxy resin I had created by Mango. I have included some of the amazing scenic images that we enlarged. The bottom line is that this team really cares about what they do. They take the time to understand your vision and try to go the extra mile. I would highly recommend them. Our wedding was in October 2016 - lead photographer Ayyyna. We originally met with owner Mo who was very down to earth - knowledgable genuine and professional. They seemed to changed formats since they grew from when we originally booked but the end result was great and our Lead Photographer did a wonderful job. They are a well run company. From when we met the Owner My Husband and I were happy to book with them. We met with Frances and Ayyyna prior and let them know of our preferences and of our shy relatives and then waited for the big day. To give you some context leading up to our wedding and day of I was exhausted, I did not have a bridal shower, engagement photos or a day off with my career. The day of the wedding I did my own hair and make up and my husband and I were the type of awkward you are when your tired. Nonetheless you would have no idea by looking at our photos. Ayyyna is smart, artistic, helpful and made my shy family comfortable. Our photos had effortless variety. They did great job running around with us around our venue (including flagging down a ghost busters car) to take our photos. We liked many of our photos more than what they selected as their favourites. When I look at them I remember thoughts, smiles, and "butterfly" nerves. The photo I have of me and my father gives me happy tears. We really loved how all Mango's photos come out with beautiful soft natural lighting. The time for the photos to be ready was also great. Mango Studios was absolutely amazing to work with! Our initial meeting/consultation was very welcoming and easy going. We liked their style and they completely understood us! They were very professional, helped work within our budget and the process leading up to our day was thorough/ alleviated any extra tasks/stress for us- online questions, online transparent billing/invoices, very quick with their phone/email responses etc. Then the day! We loved working with Liza- she made us all feel very comfortable and ourselves, broke the awkward moments, made us laugh and guided us from start to finish with ease! We really liked candid type style photos and they caught exactly that! We actually originally booked one photographer and was so surprised/excited Mango sent a secondary documentary style photographer as well! They both found some great spots by our venue and went with it. We were a bit worried as we did not book a videographer but Liza and her assistant truly captured everything! Our pictures were edited and ready within a month or so and they are stunning. Highly recommend Mango...and request Liza!!! :)

My fiancée and I recently visited mango studios for a quote. Upon arrival we were asked that a mangos studios rep would be with us shortly and to view some picture books in the meantime. After 35 min of waiting we were met with the rep. We were given tea and cookies during the appointment which was a nice touch. After the meeting the rep answered all our questions and was very helpful in painting the picture of what our wedding day would look like. The prices were one of the highest we have seen when shopping around and was somewhat disappointed to find that after spending so much money that there were some “catches” upon receiving the photos (watermakrings, limited selection of certain photos etc.) we did not end up booking through mango but it was just our personal opinion that the value wasn’t there. That and having to wait for our appointment really set me into a negative vibe for the rest of the meeting. But again this is just my opinion of mango studios. I have seen some of their work and it’s great stuff but for me the value just wasn’t there. Cheers

We tied the knot at Langdon Hall where Mango Studios had never worked before, but Michelle was confident that she could shoot our wedding and capture the essence of this beautiful property. She arrived early to explore and familiarize herself with our team and venue. She was polite with family members and guests, and so easy to smile in front of! She worked efficiently with the second photographer and their teamwork captured beautiful photos from all sorts of angles to highlight our special moments. We received many compliments on our photographers throughout the evening and in months to come, many from guests and also other vendors (Mango has an outstanding reputation with popular wedding vendors in the area). One of the things that stood out to us was that Michelle made a point of being incognito throughout the afternoon and evening. She was always present, but was never in the way of our guests' view. We thought this was important as we did not want the photography to take away from the natural and romantic feeling of our day. Looking back on the day now, Michelle was always where she was to be and she was so flexible in terms of our schedule (especially when we fell behind!) I knew I would love our photos based on Michelle's talent and her tireless effort photographing our day. We recommend Mango to everyone, and all of their services they offer - additional photography coverage, photo booth, etc. It is a classy and modern studio that is up to date and well-versed. Mango truly makes your job effortless as the bride and groom. We didn't worry about our wedding photography throughout the entire planning process once we secured our date because we were so confident in them! Edited Review: We went to them based on their online reviews and recommendations from friends. Unfortunately, our service experience at the shoot was not positive. There were a few mistakes made with booking, however, I’m sure we just had bad luck and it was a very isolated incident. The owner got involved personally and went above and beyond to fix our issues. Also, the pictures themselves looked very good and we are pleased with them. Despite a hiccup at the beginning, we are now quite pleased and would recommend them.

From the initial meeting, they provided so much insight and asked a lot of great questions to help us envision our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Val and Josh managed a pretty tight schedule which included multiple locations. We had a tea ceremony as well as the usual ceremony/reception, they captured all of our favourite memories so well and some we didn't even realize on the day of. They came up with some great creative photos and were able to capture some other photos we had in mind. It also rained but they had plan B all ready to go and those photos were amazing. The whole experience was amazing and so seamless. I highly recommend Mango Studios for their big day or event.

Michelle Liando and her assistant Josh did such a gorgeous gorgeous job. They helped keep me calm through the entire day and even made my husband look AMAZING in pictures (he is the most difficult human being to photograph and he HATES getting his picture taken).
