Agi team is an absolute pleasure to work with. It was all started from John’s prompt response to our inquiries and being flexible with our hectic work schedule. We were prepped well with Jenny’s speedy and accurate hair and make up skill, extra posing tips from her before going to the photoshoot. John and his assistant (I believe was Roger) were so professional and productive, we were so grateful for their detailed instructions. Never thought we would receive more than 200 raw pictures after 2 hours of shooting with many angles. The retouch were quick too after we chose the final ones. My wedding photos and video were taken by John's team. John is a very easy-to communicate, organized and detailed processional, as well as the whole team people. What we like AGI the most is that these guys have tremendous artistic and creative ideas in their minds. The picture of the rings were taken on my husband's engineering textbook which John found on the shelf. One of the other pictures that I like, is inside a bathtub wearing my huge wedding dress with my bridesmaids by the side.They always find unique scenes and angels to leave us very special pieces, moments and memory. If you are looking for any shots just for you, the pictures and videos created only for you, can't found from anyone else's folder, AGI is the one.

After looking through the portfolios of half a dozen Toronto wedding photographers, we finally chose AGI and wow, were we ever happy we did! The entire experience from our first conversation with John has far exceeded our expectations. AGI is an extremely professional business that caters towards its clients: prompt replies to all our questions, very accommodative to our requests, and patient with non-photogenic people like myself. Above all, the quality of their work is top-notch IMO: amazing and super creative shots that captured the moment even better than I remember. Their service was definitely worth every penny and we would hire them again in a heartbeat - AGI was by far, our favorite wedding vendor and we are thankful to have had the chance to work with them. Though we have only received the sneak peak shots so far (our wedding was 3 weeks ago), we are already blown away and excited to receive the full album. Splendid work from AGI team's world class artists! Having our wedding in France naturally meant we have access to a wide selection of world renowned photographers from Europe. After carefully selecting one that came highly recommended, we decided to still hire AGI as we really liked their work for a friend's wedding. Greatest decision ever! After seeing the finished product from both photographers, it was clear AGI is in a league much higher than any other photographers I worked with. Venue, lighting, all being the same; while one photographer simply captured photos of our big day, AGI offered artistic revelation, fairytale, our precious moments portrayed in the most romantic manner. AGI is not a budget studio, but definitely delivers beyond their cost. Flowers will wither away, my most beautiful wedding dress can only be worn for one day, but AGI preserved all the beauty with their photographs and video just incredibly. My wife and I were very impressed by the photos and videos AGI produced for our wedding back in July. Our wedding planner initially connected us with a couple of studios and very quickly we decided to go with AGI after seeing the previous work done by John, one of their top photographers. We purchased the videography + photography package and requested John to be the lead photographer for our wedding day. After several meetups, we had our first photo shooting experience with John during our engagement photo(part of the package) and we were pretty happy with the photos. I tend to look quite weird and angry in photos as I don’t know how to smile in front of the camera. From my previous experience, my issue could get the photographers frustrated. Other photographers tend to simply force me to fake the smile so they can get the shooting done. However, those photos sometimes look even worse than the ones with my no smile angry face. John was very patient and tried quite a few things to help me look more natural. He did not force me to smile. Instead, he asked me and my wife to engage in casual conversations and he just moved around to capture the moment, and of course, he was able to capture few happy smiles on my face in the final product. Then it comes to our wedding day, both the video and the photo crew were amazing. To me the most important criterion for good event photographers is that they have to be able to identity what are the key moments and capture them well. Many of the things are an one time opportunity and it would be a huge disappointment to the clients if they fail to do so. AGI didn’t let us down, we received our photos and videos few weeks ago and they were all beautifully done. The video highlight taken and edited by Mr. Cheng and William was truly a masterpiece and fully exceeded our expectation. The 7 minutes highlights very well documented all the joys, tears, and love on our wedding day and it is such a great video for us to relive the moment in the future. My wife and I wanted to say thank you to AGI. We will have no hesitation recommending them to our friends.

We chose AGI Studio as our wedding day photographer and videographer based on our wedding planner's recommendation. Well, this may well be our second best decision of our life just behind us decided on getting married. If you are reading this review, you are probably on the same boat as us exactly one year ago: desperately seeking the best photographer/videographer in town. I suggest visiting their website and check out their portfolios. Trust me, you won't be finding better ones (the bride actually cried while watching some of their wedding day videos). We are from California but the wedding was held in Toronto so all the communications were handled online. We only had our initial meeting one week prior the wedding and to be honest, we were a bit worried that we didn't have enough time to fully tell them what we want. They handled all of our requests professionally and continuously told me to relax and just be ourselves on the wedding day. The day finally came and all of our photographers and videographers showed up on time and carried tons of professional gear. They were polite and fun to work with: joking with the bride and me to make sure we were not too nervous. I don't have too much memories of the wedding day since it all went by so fast. All I remembered are the AGI folks running around and taking photos of us non-stop with their fancy gears. There were absolutely no slacking off and it was us who kept telling them to take breaks and drink some water. All we witnessed was 110% professionalism. Again I have to emphasize how patient, caring and attentive AGI people are. We are not professional models and definitely not the easiest couple to work with. They were constantly giving us directions and tell us how to pose. For one day, we felt we were shooting a magazine cover. It all felt like a dream till this day. One week after the wedding, we received our first sneak-peek of the wedding day photos and we were blown away (check the photos I attached, we wish to attach them all). These are just the initial sneak-peak photos, we couldn't image how pretty the final photos gonna be. To sum up our feelings: We wish to find AGI earlier so they could have shot our engagement and pre-wedding photos. Needless to say, the composition, the lighting and all the facial expression captures, all top notch and we were left speechless. We actually shared the photo with our family and friends who couldn't make to our wedding and all we got were praises and tears. Special thanks to Polk/William/Roger/Vincent for capturing the most important moments of our life. From the bride: Thanks AGI Studio John/Polk/William/Roger/Vincent for everything! Yes I was a client. I was married August 6th 2016. I wasn’t going to leave a review but every time I looked at my photos I just left it alone because I was unhappy with the results. I came in and asked for a specific style that was completely ignored from our meeting which was fine now there’s nothing I can do. The pictures were thrown together completely out of order and took me months to go through them and organize them. I was told the album I wanted was no longer available then was offered a album I hated so much I didn’t even bother to go back. I was promised that album th day I gave my deposit. I’m not saying the quality of the pictures were not great I’m saying I don’t feel any thought was put into them from your end. They are very basic and looking at your previous work they are not at your regular level. Both my husband and I felt that for 10,000 there should have been much more selection and artistry. The worst part of all of this for me is I don’t have one family picture. To be completely honest I don’t think there was much care taken on the Photograghy end of this. I can say my video was great but again completely missed the style we talked about in our meeting. I came and spoke twice to John and made it clear what I was looking for. I’m sorry to leave a bad review but this has been bothering me for a year and a half now and it’s something people should know before booking.

John and his team were a pleasure to work with from the beginning. All of our requests and preferences were handled in a timely and professional manner. We first had an engagement shoot at the Gladstone Hotel with John himself 6 months prior to our wedding. He arrived promptly and was very thorough, yielding some fantastic pictures. On the day of the wedding, his entire team arrived on time and were also very through in both the photos and videos. The turnaround time on the video teaser was exceedingly quick and left us eager to see the entire thing. The photos came in batches, but were well worth the wait, as they turned out incredibly. John and his team have a great eye for finding the beauty in everything. We received all the pictures (a couple thousand in total) within a couple months of the wedding, and we found it difficult to only choose 50 for the photo album because there were so many great ones to choose from. The video also turned out really well, and John and his team were very receptive to our requests to use specific songs, or to make any edits that got overlooked in the original editing process. Overall, I would highly recommend AGI Studio if you want professional photographers who will leave you with memories you will be proud to look back on and share with others for years to come. When my wife and I got engaged, we went to several bridal shows and searched the internet and referrals of friends to try to find a photographer that would be the best fit for our wedding. AGI quickly made it to our top list of photographers to investigate. John who is the owner operator dealt with my wife and I personally every step of the way and was very professional throughout our experience. The studio is professional and they have MANY albums showcasing the work they have done. Both my wife and I work in a service based industry, and we admittedly were not easy customers to deal with. My sister (who got married 5 years prior), was ripped off from her photographer when she paid in full and did not get any of the material after the wedding. So needless to say we wanted to be careful. John was understanding of this, and very accommodating. He was never late for a meeting and always replied to e-mails and phone calls in a very timely manner. We went with a video and photo package. VERY HAPPY with the video. From researching this company we knew they would be strong with photos, but we are very pleasantly surprised about how the video turned out (5 min highlight + 1 hour full length with all the important stuff throughout the day). The camera and video guys worked very well together. They were exactly on time, and even stayed a bit late for the cake cutting even though we were behind schedule on the time they had to stay until which we appreciated. They were really good a posing us and made it fun. Our photos were ready EXACTLY (down to the day) at the time we were originally promised prior to the wedding which we really appreciated. As you can imagine these are images and videos that you eagerly wait in anticipation to see and not having to wait longer than expected was a plus as we were not sure what to expect. OVERALL, if you are researching this company, USE THEM. We highly recommend them to anyone asking and found that the quality and professionalism rivals (and we found bests) the competition they have that sometimes charges double. They are timely, responsive, and very professional. Polk is extremely artistic and talented - he delivered over 3000 edited photos to us and each one is amazing! Half a year later, I still look back to them and remember each moment like it was yesterday. The video is also beautiful - all important moments were captured. We hired AGI for our wedding photography and videography, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice. Within minutes of our first meeting with John, we knew that we would want to work with AGI for our wedding. As we explained our vision for our wedding to him, he seem just as excited as we were to implement it. This shared enthusiasm was one of the key things we looked for in our vendors, as we know that it would reflect in thr quality of their work too. And boy, did it ever!! John and his team exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are so grateful to have them capture our love story and wedding day. Love story video and Wedding day Video: Vincent and AZ fron the videography team offer their couples a short interview shoot prior to the wedding, so that the clips can be inserted into the wedding day documentary to provide more context. We met with them 2 months prior to the wedding to discuss the short interview, but as we chatted (and the smitten girl in me rambled on and on), we realized that there were lots of interesting material to be made into a stand alone love story video. It was the best decision we made! Not only did we have a blast shooting the video (we felt like movie stars), it was also the perfect opener for our wedding reception! It set the mood for a fun and light-hearted night ahead, helped explain how we got together, and provided context for the inspiration of wedding theme and details. Many of our guests came to me later saying that the love story video was the best part of the reception! Our wedding video was equally incredible. Both the long and short version captured the details and atmosphere of our wedding beautifully, exactly the way we remembered it. The trailer-style short version was stylized to perfection. My favourite moments were the juxtaposed clips of me getting ready with the bridesmaids (graceful, supposedly) and my husband getting ready with the groomsmen (goofy with Bruno Mars in the background) . I had never seen my husband’s side of the wedding day so this creative editing definitely put a smile on my face! Photography We loved our pictures from our photographers Polk and Ann. They were very professional and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. And because of that, they were able to capture those candid moments spectacularly. I’ve been a big fan of Polk’s work and I was so happy to see his talents shine through in our pictures. He has an excellent eye for composition and framing, and he often uses light and reflections to create interesting shots. My favourite photo is one of my parents smiling and taking a picture of something out side the frame, but if you looked closely in a glass picture frame beside them, there is a reflection of my bridesmaids doing my make up, which is what my parents were looking at —Polk did not ask us to pose so that we appeared in the reflection, he just saw it and took the picture!! Simply, genius. John and team, thank you very much for being a part of our wedding!!!

John, Polk and the rest members of AGI are a team of very professional people. My husband Ivan hired them for a special proposal. They were standing outside in the cold for hours in a chilly mid March evening, and still came up with great numbers of beautiful pictures. We also loved the video they made. Because we loved working with AGI, we hired them again for our wedding day. Too expensive for their quality. Hey john if you want to brand yourself as highend, maybe hire people that can communicate in english. We had to get our bridesmaid to translate during the day because the photographer did not speak english and just nodded. Dont be fooled by their exclusive shooter sell. I saw the same shooter contracting for other companies. We got our photos back and they were not what they shown on the website. John told us "the ones shown on the website are photoshopped" i wish i had listened to my husband and went with a cheaper option. No offense to the non speaking english team, but if you dont want to have to babysit or translate for your photographer during the wedding showing them how to use google map, stay away from john and agi studio. Their shooters are NOT exclusive. I am writing this review because i came across them and saw the recent negative review. Please check carefully on what is given and what is fake on the website before you book! UPDATED. i did not want to do this but the owner john has replied. So here it is. We had emerson to shoot our wedding, and guess what? We asked him if he was exclusive and he said no, no one is exclusive to agi. Im sorry to put out names but to call us liars just shows how much of a crook these people are. Emerson has shot for a studio called ng studio, which you can inquire and they will send you so called "agi studio" shooters for you at half of the price. Also we saw two of your shooters on your website showing up to another wedding for other companies. Anyone who doesnt believe me can just email us and we will show you screenshots of our chat with their shooters confirming that no one is exclusive. Sorry we are very mad as we paid extra to have agi shooters but turns out its a bait and switch!

We worked with Polk for our engagement photo at Central Island. The entire process was smooth and we had so much fun. If I could give this six stars, I would. John and his team were amazing throughout our wedding. Our engagement shoot photos were amazing as well, John is very good with the shots and angles and he is very good at explaining any poses which would look best in whatever background he taking a photo of. My husband really wanted some classic shots as well, and John suggested that we take photos before the reception of the wedding at the location we wanted. The photos were spectacular, we are horrible models, extremely rigid, but his photos made us look like naturals. John and his team are very professional and friendly, they are very easy going and fun to work with. Their photos are a good combination of classical and artistic photos, you won't be disappointed. If you are reading this and trying to decide whether to book AGI for your special event, do yourself a favour and book ASAP- it was the best decision we ever made! Our journey with AGI began at a Bridal Show in 2018. John was very welcoming and helpful in explaining their packages; we did not feel pressured at all to go through with a booking. Our subsequent consultation meetings with the AGI team confirmed that we were making the right choice. We opted for the 12 hour AGI Senior Package for both photography and videography since our wedding was split over two days. The package came with a complimentary engagement photo shoot, drone shooting, same day edit and photo album (as well as full length videos of the wedding/reception). Yvonne was our photographer for our engagement shoot and our pictures were absolutely STUNNING! We used them for both a media wall as well as a photo canvas our guests could sign during the wedding reception. Our Hindu wedding ceremony and Western reception were covered by William, Ann, Tian and Dva- they were an absolute DREAM TEAM! They managed to capture all of our most important moments without us having to specify. The highlight of our reception was the same day edit. William did such an outstanding job! Our guests were blown away and are still talking about it to this day! Tian managed to share with us some of the sneak peek photos of our wedding/reception and they were fantastic! we had our pre-wedding photos with John(AGI) in 2016 and our wedding day photos with them too. We had two sets of pre-wedding shoots, one was a destination(Miami), the second set in Toronto. We had a wonderful time working with John. He is very professional, and full of passion in his expertise. We thought is going to be really tiring but It was actually not as tiring as expected, and it was lots of fun finding the right spot, location, and the right move with his commands. He is one of the best photographers I ve seen, it’s been a pleasure working with him and his team. Out of the photos he captured, we just couldnt decide which photos to use for the album, it was such a difficult choice in deciding because there was literally no photos that we disliked, so we decided to do multiple albums instead. John is the type of perfectionist who is willing to spend hours waiting for one specific shot. We had over a thousand of photos to choose from on our wedding day, and I ve sent the photos of us and our guests to all of my guests, and everyone was pleased with their photos as well, I did not hear any complaints about the photos, they all look pretty gorgeous. John knows how to find the right angle to make you look perfect, slimmer body, nicer skin, and especially extensions of your legs to make you look so much taller than you actually are. Agi was absolutely amazing, we hope we can work with them to get another photo shoot soon.

At first I was glad I made the decision to book with AGI studio. At the end I was completely disappointed! John does not keep his word and tries to use reverse psychology on the client. He is disgusting. The website is false advertising and misleading. I paid shipping to receive my USB and the wedding album that I ordered did not come out properly. They hire third party photographers/videographers to represent them whom are self employed. The day of my wedding the team did not know how to pose me and the party. The studio did not send me all my wedding photos. All the photos sent to me had major edits which threw everything off. Good thing I hired a back up photographer for my wedding who caught better pictures. I would not recommend this studio to anyone not even my worst enemy. If you do not believe this review, you can compromise your hard earned money for the product and service that is lagging. Cheers! ~Jessica

During our wedding planning, I was most nervous about choosing the right photographer/videographer since they would be the ones creating the memories that we would go back and watch over and over again. I am so glad that we went with AGI. Although they were on the slightly pricier side compared to other vendors we were considering, it was every bit worth the money. Leading up to the wedding, they were very responsive with our communications. During the wedding, they were very punctual, were great at giving us direction for the photos/videos, and the final products were amazing! We received so many compliments on our same day edit video, which was played at the wedding - our guests couldn’t believe that the scenes in the clip were from the morning of the wedding day :) If I had to re-plan my wedding, I would definitely go with AGI, and I highly recommend them to anyone else in search of a photographer or videographer.

Saw their website and went by for a consultation, forgot the name of their main photographer but I think was John... throughout the consultation, what I felt is they tried to push me to sign up with them and to pay a deposit right away, I do respect that they want to make money in a quick way, however, they made me feel under huge pressure to go to different vendor to check out, as a customer, what I want is to make a rational decision rather than being pushed to sign, and I do believe I am able to judge which studio is good rather than being told by them.
