However, The fact that sessions are too short and u don't get to redo the bad shots is such a let down though. I'm feeling that I'll do another graduation photo session. My photos came out weird. There was a miscommunication on my order, however, when I contacted subphoto through instagram, they responded quickly and made sure to resolve my issue with the utmost respect and kindness. They also made my pictures look AMAZING! I’ve never felt so good about pictures in my life!

Today we had outdoor family portraits taken through SUB Photo/New Light Photography. We were thrilled with the session. Michael is obviously really experienced and professional -- he knows exactly what he is looking for in terms of setting, lighting and angles. He keeps things quite natural looking, but watches for things like hair going the wrong way and slouching shoulders, which is really important. We brought our dog, and he even held the treat bag in order to get her to turn and face the camera! It's our second time working with Michael, and we're already thinking about locations for our next session!

Great customer service and right on time for my appointment. The chest sash was too small for my shoulders and didn't look great in the final photos. If they had a larger sash that laid flat, it would have been perfect.

I had such an amazing and wonderful photoshoot experience all thanks to Michael and his team for making me comfortable (as I’d never enjoyed taking photos before), and taking care of every small detail from making sure the props, lighting and camera were all set well for me and my features. I felt very catered to, they even fixed my hair so it was looking better in the photos!! Thank you so much for making my closing chapter very special by capturing all the moments I had pictured in my mind, I’m forever grateful that I have all of the photos here and many more to cherish as I grow past this stage in my life ❤️ Also- this was my second attempt at a grad photo shoot, I was forced to do my photos with life touch initially in order to be in the grad composite. They were not terrible photos but they were definitely not like the quality photos I received here!

I came here to get digital photos for a permanent residency application. The service I received was polite and friendly, and they were able to fit me in for photographs within 10 minutes of my arrival. The photos were great and met the required standards. Two months later, I came back for printed copies of the same photographs and once again received great service. The photos were ready for me to pick up when I wanted to and the price was very reasonable. I'm extremely happy with this studio!

The photographer was great and made me feel super comfortable. I normally don't like having my photos taken but he just had conversation with me and made it fun! Everyone complimented my photos! He paid attention to every detail, including my hair and was extremely respectful! I felt a little bad, when he showed me my photos I unintentionally made a comment about noticing my double chin... I hope I didn't offend the photographer, that was more of an expression of self deprecation, rather than an insult on his photography.

The girl at the front desk was so pleasant, helped us decide to get group photos, and so concerned about our wait time and apologetic (when she didn't even need to be). The photographer was amazing. He was patient, kind, respectful, and the way he cared about us liking the photos was amazing. I felt comfortable to tell him when I wanted to try a different thing or didn't like the pose, etc. My undergrad photos at a different university did not go this amazing, I was amazed at how overall great the experience was. I could not have had a better experience, truly!!!

I just got my photos done here a few minutes ago, and I'm really impressed. They have this down to a science. I've never enjoyed taking photos before, I usually feel awkward and too staged. The session here, though, felt super comfortable and it was obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. Clear guiding instructions, helpful tips, kind and enjoyable conversation throughout the whole thing. Catered to the ideas that I had and even helped me build off of them to create some REALLY good shots. I love the way the initial photos turned out so I absolutely can't wait for the final results. Thank you so much for helping me celebrate this long degree I finally managed to finish - this is a huge life achievement for me and these photos are something I can cherish and share with my family to commemorate that. You do great work!

This studio is simply wonderful. My daughters had their grad photos taken here, and everything was impeccably done. Katelyn at the front desk even helped assemble the bouquet of flowers which we had specially brought in (the other daughter used the beautiful red roses, which were supplied). I dealt with Nicole by email and she was super helpful at putting together a special package because we wanted so many of the photos! (They were that good.) The presentation of the photos was incredible, boxed with ribbons and perfectly printed. The photographer, Michael, truly knows what he is doing, and I can happily say that U of A grads are fortunate to have such ready access to a talented artist. Thank you so much!

The first time I went in the customer service was excellent, but the photos weren't the best. I was pleased to find out that they offer retakes at no extra charge but unfortunately the customer service the second time was awful. I wouldn't waste my money or time with photos here.
