I've booked this studio twice now for family pics, it is perfect! Viewing the calendar and booking online is easy and the owners replied to my questions right away. The space is big and bright with lots of great props and backgrounds. Big enough for the kids to play on one side while taking photos on the other side, and for group shots of all 12 of us. There is a washroom, mini fridge, and lots of chairs, so no worries about breaks and snacks.

Amazing space with so much different vibes and aesthetics that is sure to work for everyone’s vision. The staff are super friendly and they make sure the place is sparkling clean, stocked with little treats, tea, coffee, napkins... There’s a vanity mirror with lights, different seating choices, and different wall backgrounds. We didn’t use them but I think they have the option to use backdrops as well if needed. Great place, highly recommend it for any photography purposes.

Could not recommend this place more! My experience with Shadow Box Studios in Edmonton was exceptional; their quality is above and beyond. Booking with them took no time at all and the prices were quite reasonable. I could tell from photographs that it was a lovely location, and though the outside is unassuming, their space is perfect. It is wide open, clean, diverse, and intuitive. It was set up to be effective and useful, and it shows. When I arrived, everything was as described. Set up was quick and easy because things were already in place. There was the cutest set-up for my models to prepare at, and lots of good workstations that could also double as props in the shooting area. There was a welcoming note inviting us to use the space and clear easy instructions. Everything you could need was there: a mini fridge with water was provided, lots of space, lots of outlets for your devices. They even left a Starbucks gift card in thanks, something I did not expect but so nice on a long day to have a coffee paid for! The little touches really sold me on this studio. From the gift card, to a personalized welcome on the door, and even Scotts availability by text to answer questions and trouble shoot - none of this was expected but it demonstrated incredible customer care. If you have any doubts, throw them away, because this is a wonderful studio that will live up to your expectations.

There was quite a lot of space to set up and plenty of room for a number of us there to set up and still room for people to casually walk around. I booked this space to host a staff Christmas party for a larger group of 30+ people. The space was sufficient to accommodate the comfort of a large group while giving it a "home-like" atmosphere. The main area and bathroom were very clean upon arrival, and the furniture was easy to move to the way I preferred for decorating purposes. Communication with the hosts was extremely clear and I was able to gain access to the building with ease. The hosts were happy to fulfill my requests of additional chairs from storage for the day of the event as well. I highly recommend this venue!!

I booked Shadow Box Studios to shoot for my women's fashion company, The Plain Classics. It was my first time booking them, and it was by far a superior experience than other studios I have booked in the past. I was greeted by Fontaine, who had unlocked the studio for me (which was a HUGE help, I had a ton of clothing items AND a baby with me to carry in). The studio itself has a ton of natural light and is a nice large space to shoot in. I purchased white background to use for shooting, but there was also furniture props and a wooden background we used to shoot as well. I'll definitely be rebooking in the near future. Great space with lots of light! Love this studio, each area has infinite possibilities. The areas are boho chic and very well decorated. Will definitely be booking again! The only thing I would change is having lights included in the studio instead of having to rent them on top but that’s a small thing. I also get that lights aren’t cheap and not everyone will treat them with the respect they deserve so it wasn’t a problem. I had an issue the day I rented (my fault not theirs) I called and they immediately fixed it and helped me through! Great experience will definitely be back soon :)

Amazing studio, in quiet location, with ample parking either on road or in car lot. Neighborhood was friendly and quiet too. Booking was simple, reserve spot, pay deposit via email interact and receive instructions. We used studio after hours and it was easy. There was so much to do. Jardene Photography had two guests and we used full four hours with all the walls, chairs, and mirrors. Carrying equipment in was easy. I brought my own lighting system, back drop and cables. But the studio had extension cables, lights and plenty of paper you can rent. There is beverages and a washroom/changing room en suite. Loved the walls, windows and flooring. The girls were giggling all night with little or no stress. A great experience.

He makes the shooting process as painless as possible and the results show that as well. He is able to capture a person's personality in the picture. My only real experience with a photographer, before Shadow Box Studios, was once a year for hockey pictures. So needless to say I was apprehensive about it at first.
