HIGHLY recommend Sean as a photographer! I was really worried about posing in front of a camera, however those fears were quickly washed away the second Sean showed us our viewpoint for pictures as well as his comforting personality was shining through. Sean really focuses on getting to know you and will do anything to get the perfect shot. At one point, my fiance and I were laughing saying we were going to have to call for search and rescue because he was climbing down the side of a mountain to get the perfect shot. I felt extremely comfortable taking pictures, my fiance and I both had our natural smiles and most importantly Sean captured our personalities to a T as well as our love for one another. Sean helped us pose as well as captured many natural moments that became some of our most favourite pictures. When we viewed our photos in his studio the atmosphere was relaxed, cozy and exciting. We got to view our photos from a projector onto his wall along with a special slide show just for us. My fiance's and mine reaction to the first picture was just WOW! Is that us!!! We were both completely mind blown by the pictures! Can't wait to see what Sean has in store for our wedding! Truly grateful to have him as our photographer. Sean is a true master at his art. When we first called and talked with him, he wanted to get to know us first before we even talked about anything else. When we met up for our engagement photos it was so relaxing. It felt like a hike on the mountain with a really good friend. Our engagement photos blew us away. Couldn’t ask for anything better. At that point we knew that we had nothing to worry about in regards to our wedding photos. The day of our wedding went so smooth with Sean. At no point did we worry he was going to miss something. Sean was the only photographer at our wedding and managed to capture all different angles without being noticed, he always found the right spots. My wife and I would talk about how focused Sean would be and you could see him picturing his next angle or scene. Our wedding party was really impressed with him too and commented many times how natural we all felt and not posed. Sean was a huge part of our wedding every step of the way, from planning to always checking in on us. He has a very outgoing personality and I’m pretty sure he never stops smiling and laughing along with you. He is very accommodating. We had many unexpected turns in regards to venues being shut down, getting a venue that we thought was limiting to picture opportunities, to having the worst weather the day before and a cool, windy and soaked wedding morning. Sean guided us and reassured us throughout all those moments and even made suggestions of who to call and offered his help in anyway. We couldn’t of been more grateful. When we went to review our wedding photos, we had a last minute special request and he delivered. Our Wedding photos blew us away. We had no words. The quality was over the top. We still struggle with figuring out which photo is our favourite. He captured every moment we hoped for yet most importantly our feelings and true selves. We also ordered our wedding album through Sean and can simply say it’s a master piece. It is something we proudly show everyone that comes into our home. Throughout the whole process Sean continually communicated with us and made sure we knew what was happening with our photos and album. We were never left in the dark and wondering what was happening. He would go over the top and even create a video showing us his progress and accommodated us by mailing our canvases and album since we live 6 hours away. The moment our wedding album came in, it was like a bitter sweet moment, excitement to relive our special day yet sadness that we now have our last piece of our wedding. Where do I even start?! Sean's workshop was amazing!! He jumped right into education and didn't miss a beat! He covered everything from business psychology, in-person sales and marketing, to his creative photography process of lighting, composition, and prompting his couples to get real moments from them. He was patient, answered all my questions, he was very methodical and clear in his teaching, was very humble in sharing his own experiences of what has worked and hasn't, and was very calming, sincere, kind and fun. He walked us through a live shoot, showing us how to use available light, off-camera flash, how to interact with the couple, look for interesting compositions and how to create variety in photos. The couple we used as models for the workshop were very impressed with him and felt very comfortable with him. After the workshop, Sean showed us how he edits and delivers photos to clients and made sure we had all our questions answered. Even during lunch and after the workshop was over, Sean continued to share business and photography insight with us. He was a complete open book and is very passionate about his craft and sharing his knowledge to help us elevate our work/business. His methods work! Right after the workshop was over, I had a client inquiry and was able to book them on the spot because I had put into use what Sean had taught me. I definitely want to take another workshop from him or join his one-on-one mentorship program. Would also love to hear him speak at a conference. We first encountered Sean at the Calgary Home show, and we knew we found something very special in his work. We quickly set up an initial consult to have our engagement photos taken and make arrangements for our wedding portraits as well. Next, we met on a gorgeous Friday winter morning in our beloved Rocky Mountains to have our photo session, and we had a wonderful time while Sean captured it all. Sean is an amazing photographer and a super nice guy. My wife and I had a great experience working with him for our wedding in Banff in August of 2017. We are from Los Angeles, but we needed an Alberta-based photographer, and he came highly recommended by Geoff Wilkings. I looked at his website, was super impressed with his work, and we hired him for our wedding. In January 2017, he offered to do an engagement session for us in Los Angeles, and we decided to do it so we could get to know him and understand his work process. For a couple of hours, we took pictures around the Disney Concert Hall--it was a chilly winter day in Los Angeles, but Sean, the Canadian, was wearing shorts! With his energy and enthusiasm for the location, Sean made it a lot of fun; and the next day, he came over to our condo to show us the work. We hooked up the laptop to my TV, watched the presentation, and were left speechless. We aren't exactly models, but holy cow, after looking at those pictures, we felt like the coolest, most stylish couple on the planet. The photos were like ads in a fashion magazine. So cool! The wedding day experience was fantastic. We hired him for 10 hours, and his lovely wife joined him to help with the different lenses, lights, etc. With wildfires raging to the west in BC, it was an unfortunately smokey day, but Sean never let the haziness get us down. He assured us that everything would look great in the end, and based on our engagement session, we knew we could trust him. He drove us in his car to the various locations around town (Mt. Norquay lookout, Vermilion Lakes) and we had a great time. He took a lot of awesome shots during the wedding, and he even had his wife look for a trail down beneath our suite at the Rimrock so he could take an EPIC picture of us with a vista of Banff and Cascade Mountain in the background. It's an awesome picture. Then, he chauffeured us down to Park Distillery where we had our reception. He captured all the fun with style, utilizing the remote flash to add backlight and contrast to the revelry. We even went down to Banff Avenue to capture some great pics looking down the median of the road with Cascade in the background. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. A few weeks later, Sean notified us that our wedding album was ready to be previewed. We enjoyed the presentation experience with our engagement photos so much, that we decided to fly up to Calgary and preview the album at Sean's studio. With a bottle of champagne, we watched our wedding day unfold from Sean's projector, and it was like re-living the entire experience all over again. Amazing. While at his studio, we got to check out several of the products he offers, including some heavy-duty acrylic frames (we bought a set of 3), beautiful frameless wall art (we bought a 3' x 2' wall art picture from our engagement), and a full-sized wedding album (we bought that too). In all, we bought a lot of stuff from Sean, but the quality of the products is superb, and you want to present Sean's photography in the best possible way. I gave one of the acrylics to my mother as a Christmas gift, and it made her cry. It instantly became one of her most prized possessions. With the wedding album, Sean carefully crafted our story so that the pages had an artistic, impactful visual flow from one page to the next. It's a work of art. That said, he was very accommodating (and patient) with us, as we spent a few weeks to edit and revise our album based on our own personal preferences. We had all of the proofs available to us online, and we were able to make editorial suggestions to Sean through the website. After finishing our changes, we received our finished album about 4 weeks later, and we couldn't have been happier. It's an heirloom we will cherish forever. Overall, our experience with Sean was wonderful, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

I had just recently done my very first boudoir photo shoot with Sean LeBlanc photography! I was extremely nervous, shy and being a mother of two this was something completely out of my comfort zone!
