I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Beth was. She was wonderful to work with from first contact to receiving our photos. She always took the time to answer my questions and was fun to talk to throughout the process (unlike many other wedding vendors that are overly formal). The day of she was a godsend. My fiance was nearly blind from the brightness reflecting on the snow. She worked with us so that he had time to rest his eyes and wouldn't be squinting in all of our photos. She was incredibly prepared (this is coming from a habitual over-preparer/packer) which was so helpful. We had so much fun taking photos with her. She had us absolutely cracking up which made for some beautiful but very natural and not at all staged looking photos. Our photos turned out gorgeous and I cannot stop looking at them. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to meet and work with Elizabeth during my last trip to Banff. She helped make my proposal perfect in the way I wanted it to be, I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! I am normally very awkward in front of the camera, but she really made the atmosphere light and fun. Even during summer when there are the most tourists, she put myself and my now fiancé at ease and talked us through all the poses. All the photos were high resolution and I was excited to view the 200 pictures and easily download them all in one step. No words can describe the experience that Beth gave us!! As a photographer myself, I'm super picky about my photos. But having followed Beth on social media for years now, I knew she was the one to do our maternity photos!! Our original plan was to do photos at Dinosaur Provincial Park, but due to the COVID closures, that didn't get to happen. Beth still came out to Brooks to do our photos for us, and we got to show her some of our favourite areas around our town. Even with the cold winds and ridiculous rain we got throughout our session, she created so much magic for us!! We had a ton of fun, and she made us feel so incredibly comfortable during our session. Beth is awesome! We booked well in advance of our July 2019 wedding. I knew from her photo style (natural-looking) and skill (honesty quite jaw dropping!) that we wanted her to do our wedding. She was great in all aspects you'd want in a photographer: Communication, punctuality, professionalism, knowledge of the area, skill... Like many others have said, we were nervous about getting photos done, as we are pretty shy people. But Beth made it easy! She also is great at "navigating" the busy tourist spots so that it looks like you're the only ones in the area. Our busy day of photos wasn't too stressful thanks to Beth. I love how she stuck to our schedule so that we wouldn't be late for our wedding dinner at the Fairmont Chateau. Also we received our photos when she said we would. Honestly, no words can describe how happy I am to have found Beth (ENV Photography)! She is professional, creative, inspired and organized. I joke that she actually planned my entire elopement (because she basically did) as she was the first person I contacted and provided so many referrals and ideas. On the day of our ceremony, she was supportive, provided direction and even brought snacks, blankets and 'hot paws' to help keep us warm (we eloped in February at Lake Louise). The turnaround time to get our images was unbelievably quick and she even sent us 'sneak peaks' on the same day as our ceremony. While searching for a wedding photographer I stumbled over ENV's website. After takeing my time to look through and scrutinize every photo, two things were clear; a) every photo was stunning b) this is the exact style of photography I wanted for my own engagement photos and wedding. After sitting down for an itital consultation I knew Beth was the person I wanted to photograph our wedding. Her personality is infectious and her passion for her love of photography shows. The day of our wedding it was raining and miserable. Beth found a perfect location for us last second that would keep us dry but still give me the look I wanted for our wedding photos. Due to the rain my feet were getting soaked and instead of allowing me to ruin my wedding shoes Beth borrowed me hers so my feet would stay dry (a true testimat to who she is) Our wedding photos turned out 100 times better than I ever though possible. as so excited to book my elopement photos with Beth at ENV Photography at Lake Louise. She was great at first and even helped with a date change because of COVID 19. Unfortunately the change date still was not attainable with Covid 19 border closures and restrictions. I live in USA. I emailed with Beth and contract was cancelled to my sadness. The stickler is she refused to give any refund of deposit paid on photo session. Stating she need that money to keep her business open, which under Canadian shut done she could not be working, lights on , emails answered, dates held. Her contract state is there is transportation, flight issues, illness that she could not make arrangements for that all money paid to date would be refunded. Well needless to say she refused to honor her contract. I even offered a 50/50 refund to help compensate her for her time and efforts to this point. She refuses. I have exhausted my options with Beth. Discover card has has a open investigation for over a year but they are not having any luck with Beth or her company as well. Its bothersome to me as Beth is unwilling to honor her contact and seems to be double dipping as Canadian government gave their people 4000.00 a month during the pandemic. Beware of Beth and ENV Photography. Her nor I could control or predict COVID 19 and the results of it but surely she could be morally honest, open and trustworthy of her company which she is not. BEWARE

We met Beth at ENV Photography during our wedding planning year, when we were introduced by our wedding planner, Julianne Cragg of Modern Proposal Event Planning. She was warm, down to earth and extremely funny! She immediately set us at ease, and that allowed us to show more of our natural selves so that she could see who we are as a couple. This part of the process led to some fun photo sessions, both a complimentary engagement photo session and the day of the wedding of course, where Beth captured how we felt that day and who we were together. We have never laughed so hard when we’ve taken photos together, although thanks to her we now have some great tips and have even been comfortable getting more photos taken professionally elsewhere, like our honeymoon. Beth met us a few times through the year, and communication was mainly through email. She has explained her style as being more contemporary, that she likes to capture informal moments in the day, and that she loves outdoor photos. She wasn’t kidding about the outdoor photos! We took photos on winter days; with her engaging style and patient guidance we didn’t find this hard. She even had her winter coat off to make sure we could all handle the frigid temperatures; of course, we got to wear our coats at times too! She did things we didn’t expect a photographer to do; for example, she helped the bride get dressed on my wedding day. She was supportive throughout. She took some incredible shots; we were amazed when we received the wedding photos. The story of the day was evident in the lighting, angles and the expressions she caught of both us and the wedding guests. We had an interfaith ceremony and reception at the AGA, along with live dance, music and art performances. We also had personal touches in the speeches, charities we contributed to and the contributions from the bridal party including the beautiful favors. The scope and details of the photos don’t miss any of these experiences in the day. It will be hard for us to narrow down which photos we liked for our wedding book and framing. Everyone says that a wedding photographer is one of the most important things to select when you’re planning a wedding. We highly recommend Beth as a star wedding photographer and person, and we were very lucky to have worked with her:)

In December 2018 I started my search for a wedding photographer, I had no prior knowledge on what I should be looking for but I knew that I wanted to have my photos taken in Banff. Banff has always been a magical place for me and I wanted to make sure that someone could capture that within my wedding photos. I remembered I looked at a couple of different photographers but their portfolios just didn't have the "look" of what I envisioned. You know when you get that feeling of something just understanding you without even saying anything? That is what I was looking for in a photographers portfolio. I wanted someone who had my vision already in their work. As soon as I saw Elizabeths page I knew she was the person who was going to make my vision come true. Now I know that sounds cheesy as hell but after seeing our wedding photos I honestly couldn't of wanted anything more from it. Communicating with Elizabeth was very simple, as soon as we filled out the contact section on her website we were in touch within a few days. She went over a few different areas that we may want to have the photos taken at and we decided on that. The fee for the session was worth every penny paid as the hassle free communication, ease and relaxed environment she provided during the photo session, and the rapid fast turn around time on getting samples (a day after the event) and getting the full set of photos ( a couple weeks later) was just amazing. I highly recommend ENV Photography if you're having a wedding out in Banff or the surrounding mountain area!

She makes sure that the lighting and photos are perfect and that you are happy with the photos that were taken. I honestly could not imagine our day without Beth and the help of her assistant. Our wedding day may have been ruined if it wasn't for Beth helping identify that I had gotten too much heat outside and that we should take more breaks. Beth can handle pretty much any situation and she supplied us with several sneak peek photos in the two days following the wedding. We hired ENV Photography based off the great experience and quality of work seen at my best friends wedding.
