In late summer 2017, Beauchamp Photography worked a day-long series of location shoots for one of our energy-sector clients in Grande Prairie. Based on Beauchamp's online industrial portfolio, I went into the shoot already knowing the level of quality I was going to get. But how were they to work with? Well, Chris and Laura were already setting up at the first site before I was even there. Throughout the day, they took direction like champs, brought excellent ideas and insights of their own, pulled loose, natural shots out of the work crews (models), stayed an extra hour or so to get all they could, and were just an all-round pleasure to work with. I can't count the number of times the client has expressed how happy they are with their new photo assets. I'd work with Beauchamp again in a heartbeat.

Chris and Laura are masters of light and story. They photographed our wedding in New York City in 2015 and we couldn't be happier with the final product. Look at a few of the shots I attached here, the work speaks for itself. If I were to point out a unique strength of theirs, it's their ability to catch people when they are being themselves and not necessarily posing for the camera. But while doing that, they still somehow find shots that are perfectly lit and have everybody looking their best. This is a common thread you see in all of their work, if you browse their portfolio - people look natural and comfortable in their own skin. But it's not just the quality of the work they produce, it's the quality of the people that produce it. Chris and Laura are some of the most personable, kind and well-traveled humans you'll ever meet. They are the kind of people who feel like old friends from the moment you meet them. I had the opportunity to work with Beauchamp Photography on a project for work a while ago. The shoot that I arranged was pretty large in scope and involved a lot of moving parts. Chris and Laura were great to work with.
