I thoroughly enjoyed working with Twyla. I was nervous about posing nude for a figure study but that cleared almost immediately and by the time we were done, I was having the time of my life. She is fun to work with, and provides a comfortable atmosphere. The final pictures I received look wonderful, she is a skilled photographer and I will happily contact her again for any future photography needs.

Twyla has done many shoots for me over the years, most recently with my wedding photos. I had a package which included engagement photos as well and I loved the quality of her photos. Both times she traveled to Saskatchewan for our session/wedding. Twyla is incredibly professional but also extremely friendly and makes you feel at ease in front of the camera. She gets all the necessary formal wedding photos but you never feel posed or stuffy. The results are amazing with genuine smiles and laughter. She helps create great memories while capturing it all. She also has an amazing knack for capturing the best candid moments and when we got our pictures back I was presently surprised to see some wonderful moments with guests that I had missed the day of. Her photos are gorgeous and speak for themselves. Twyla Lapointe, Admire Studios... what can i say? Again, my wedding was over 2 years ago at which time Twyla was the answer to many prayers; she met my husband and I quite a few times leading up to our wedding so we could plan our package. For a steal of a deal Twyla offered everything we wanted and thensome: engagement pics, ALL day wedding coverage (legit-ly as soon as we got up in the morning until EVERYTHING was done.. even after we left and a few guests stayed to help clean, Twyla and her second- her husband Paul- were still there!), a photobooth with 2 prints on site of each picture (one for us to keep in a wedding album, one for the guest to keep), a Dress 2.0 session (trash the dress, rock the dress.. I went to a water spray park in mine, so the possibilities are endless!), and a boudoir session.. oh, and a leather bound 30 page album of memories. I recommend Twyla and Admire Studios to everyone I know and will continue to do so for probably ever :P

I had a photo shoot with Twyla on a mildly sunny mid-morning at a park that she recommended would provide a good setting. (Covid-19 dictated an outdoors setting with room for good social distancing.) It turned out to be a great choice on her part! The setting was great, lending itself to different compelling back drops. I found Twyla there well before the time we had set. Super professional! Over the next half hour to 45 minutes, we went from spot to spot in the park, including making use of a children's playground there. She knew what she was doing. When the photos came out -- a great variety -- she did a really cool job of touching them up and editing them, after she gave me (and my family) to choose the best 15 of the tons photos she had snapped at the park. My wife and I couldn't get a fill of finished photos, even when we viewed them first only on my phone. They were even more stunning when we viewed them on the computer in their actual size. My wife said she had never seen me look younger (with the permanent squint wrinkles smoothed out!). I was happy, though, that she kept my grays intact, to match my wife's grays! I had asked not to make me look years younger like some people like their photos. And somehow she did a good job and I don't know how she did it, of making me look my age and look younger at the same time! Such talent. Oh, one other thing: she has a wonderful website where you can see your photos posted and where you can intuitively select the photos you want her to touch up and to edit. When she is done, she posts the finished photos for you on the website -- and they are quite easy to download. She provides the photos both in color and get this, in black and white too! And she is quite prompt, too, in getting back to you with photos for you to choose from, and with the final photos. I would definitely go to Twyla Lapointe again for other photo shoots, even perhaps family photos. She is good. I totally recommend her.

I chose Admire because the pricing was upfront mentioned clearly on the website and there was an urgent service available in affordable price. I submitted my query online and Twyla replied within a few hours will full details. The way Twyla took charge by giving me the options suitable to my needs, immediately established trust. There is 24 hours editing service which means we communicated continuously within my very tight deadline. There were plenty of options to choose from the proofs and the retouching was exactly what I was looking for. I love the experience and would definitely come back for family photos as well. 5 stars for efficiency, professionalism and affordability.

Twyla is a skilled and experienced professional photographer with excellent educational credentials in her field to boot. I took a beginners photography course with her and got a lot out of the experience. I've had a nice basic DSLR for years that I hadn't touched because I didn't have the technical background on how to use it properly, and without that knowledge my photos just turned out better on a phone. Twyla's class was full of information but concepts were explained thoroughly and she had answers for my (maybe excessively technical) questions. We covered technical aspects of how cameras work, how light works (physics!), composition, troubleshooting to improve photos, as well as practical aspects on how to work with subjects. We also got hands-on practice time under her tutelage. The class was cost effective and saved me a lot of time and boredom reading up on what I needed to know online. It was really fun and feel a lot more confident using my own camera now. If you learn best by having someone teach you hands-on, you should take a class from Twyla.
