I'd just like to share my discovery of the best little pharmacy in White Rock and South Surrey. The pharmacists are very professional, friendly and efficient. They have gone out of their way numerous times for me and in one case one of the pharmacists offered to personally deliver my prescription to me if I couldn't make it in to pick it up. Awesome pharmacy!!! Switched from a major chain. 49th parallel pharmacy was there for me when my 85 year old mum’s case became complex. I switched to them for my own needs too! They r highly educated and can easily and quickly explain complex concepts to a lay person. They make every transaction smooth, quick and just plain easy. Mary suggested I get a blood pressure machine for home while she was just thinking over my case. Later she volunteered great advice on how to accurately use the machine. I booked an appointment on the BC Vaccination site for my 3rd dose vaccine. There were numerous options available the next day. In the morning I called the pharmacy to enquire if I could also get my flu shot at the same time. No problem they said. I arrived a few minutes early after parking right in front. I filled in a quick form in the almost empty waiting area. Right on time, I was invited to take my shots which took only a few seconds each. His prescriptions are often changing in the month and they always take the time to re do the blister packs for the us. I had emailed a few days ago to see if I could get the booster and the original response was that I had to wait until my notification was sent to me. However I received a call from the pharmacist personally advising he could do it the next day! I'm supposed to be leaving for NYC on Dec 29 and just wanted the highest protection possible. I came in at the time he told me to, there was no wait and I was triple vaxxed in less than a minute! Exceptional service and very friendly staff all around!!! I started using 49th Parallel a couple of years ago as it shares space with my GP's office. Previously used Save-on. Service is much more personal. Staff are knowledgeable and caring and they remember my name. The only time I have had to wait more than a few minutes is if they are patiently explaining a prescription to another customer. They are happy to order over the counter products if they are not in stock. These are often lower priced than the big stores. Very satisfied.
