Absolutely exceptional! Wow, I was blown away by the customer service (and I didn't even go into the store). After having called seven different pharmacies, Elliot picked up the phone. I asked if they had a particular product, and my goodness, I've never had someone show so much care. He triple-checked all the facts about the product I was looking for, compared SKU numbers, and even went so far as to google search. It turned out not to be the product I needed, and I was spared the 40-minute commute. I felt valued as a customer. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

I have been a long-time customer of Finlandia and have always found their staff helpful and knowledgable. It was a place I was certain I would feel safe visiting in person during this pandemic. I was very disappointed that customers were. not required to wear masks. The aisles are. narrow and it's just impossible to pass by someone while social distancing with someone who is not wearing a mask. I was disappointed by the answer I received when I expressed my surprise. I was given the answer that "masks are not mandated", even though masks were recommended in all indoor public space a few weeks ago and businesses are in charge with what they choose to implement. Further, I was horrified to see one of the staff behind the counter with her mask on her chin leaning over the counter to make sure she was heard by a client. I will not be shopping here until world is safe again. I would recommend Pure Pharmacy and Gaia Garden who both offer safe environments, in my opinion.

My Lomilomi massage practitioner told me about this place and now I get my Weleda products, essential oils and vitamins from here. I should gave this a 4 or 5 star review because I was really satisfied with the first bottle I bought last October 2020 in the store. but with my 2nd bottle that I ordered online, it was really frustrating. I got my order 1st week of March but have not opened it until March 19th. When I opened it, the liquid is not coming out of the bottle when I squeezed it and it felt like there was something blocking the mouth of the dropper. I called the store the following day and explained the situation. The lady I talked to told me to visit the store and someone will assist me, When I arrived at the store, the staff at the cashier counter told me that I have to talk to the online staff about this. I told them that I lived in Richmond and I don't want to come back to show the bottle again. They told me to just buy another one and then talked to their online staff and see what they can do. One of the staff tried squeezing it and she told me that I just have to squeeze it really hard because that is the consistency of the liquid. I don't think its how it should be because I bought one before and I didn't have any issue with it. Liquid should be coming out as soon as you squeezed the bottle since it’s a medicine drop. With the bottle that I got, I have to squeezed it really really hard so that a little drop of the liquid will come out. Staff could have been more helpful but they sounded and looked annoyed since their chit chatting was interrupted.

I got lots of help to get the right vitamins and health information in general. *I had to say that I eyewitness some really rude negative COSTUMER (discourteous-FuFu-lady) to enter the store and started yelling at the receptionist!! because she asked her to keep some distance (in the best direct way!) but BOOM! the explosive discourteous-costumer overreacted!... seriously some people should stay at home with their negativity! (it's not the first time I go there and see some really rude costumers!)... people are just so rude because of the pandemic in general. The store should not allow picky-trashy-costumers anymore! Awesome store, have had many positive experiences here and incredibly knowledgeable staff. I came in to discuss options for my IBS, and was helped out by a staff member called Katherine. Even though it was so busy in there, I felt I had her full attention and she had so many helpful suggestions. I have been struggling with digestive issues for some time and finally took some time to see what natural options there are for me. Doctors have been of little help. Katherine recommended some probiotics, a few herbs and also gave me quite a bit of information on foods that I should be avoiding. She recommended some homeopathic items and really seemed to know her stuff. She was knowledgeable and thorough. I would recommend this store as it was recommended to me. Great experience.

I have been visiting Finlandia for over a year but today I had a very strange experience. I always call and place an order on certain medicines which are not available and they are well responded. Today I called for a particular one and the person over the phone name Catherine(homeopathy department) mentioned they can't order, so out of the curiosity I called the agency where the order gets placed. They mentioned they did have the potency but it can only be available from licensed pharmacies. So I paid a visit and explained all that happened. Instead of getting an appreciation I got told that they have a system that works around and I went out of the way to find all that information. I was surprised as if I breached some privacy info. Anyway this elderly lady so called Catherine should tone her attitude down with customers, after all I'm giving business.

Poor customer service. I came on to buy some tea for my sick baby. To buy tea, you have to seek assistance of a sales clerk. She looked fruzzeled helping customer before me. She then left the counter and said to wait. I waited for over 10 min, no help. Numerous staff members were behind the other counter and saw me waiting. They did absolutely nothing to acknowledge or assist. I never knew that buying some tea to get better is so complicated!

Today was my first time going here. It was easily the best costumer experience I've ever had in Vancouver. Firstly, I was greeted with a nutritional beverage sample. Then I was approached my someone work correctly directed me to the herbal dispensary, then they asked me to inform the pharmacist of the medications I was already taking before purchasing anything (THANKS FOR CARING!!). The herbalist that helped me even went out of her way to come and find me once she was done and talked with me on the floor about the product. She was knowledgable, and extremely professional. I've been to Finlandia a couple of times and each time, my experience has been less than ideal. I was there this past Sunday as I had asked for a tincture to be put on hold. I asked if the tincture contained alcohol and the cashier said she didn't know and wasn't inclined to assist me any further. She did mention where to find this particular type of tincture. I went to that area and a sales person didn't offer much help. Basically unless you're planning to make purchases (ie. they make sales), the staff don't help. The whole attitude of the employees is a big turn off and I managed to find what I wanted online. (at a cheaper price too) Avoid this pharmacy. Edit to add: just read the response from Finlandia and it just confirms that this place doesn't value customer service. Yes, of course, stores rely on sales to stay afloat. I don't have a problem with the cashiers referring me to a specialist - it's the attitude behind it that's not acceptable. And if the specialist can't help me, then I just ask for honesty and not just walk away without saying anything. I will never shop at this place ever again.

I placed an order online for 16 Bach Remedies. When I picked up there are missing 2 bottles. The good thing I have not left the store. Apparently they claimed 2 bottles were damaged when they received it. It is so bad that they did not even tell me about this. There are 4 other bottles with expiration date less than 1 year so they placed special order to their vendor. It has been more than 10 days now and the orders have not arrived to my home yet. When I was at the store, they told it it should be about a week. I am just very disappointed. I am still missing 6 out of 16 Bach Remedies that I ordered. I am totally disappointed with the services that I am getting. My original order July 28 and today is August 14. As of today August 31, I am still missing 4 bottles. I sent them an email yesterday August 30 and nobody respond back to me yet. The issues are two things: 1) When I picked up the bottles, they should have told me that there are missing 2 bottles that was broken during the shipment. Imagine if I already left the store, I doubt they would believe me. 2) They said the rest of them will be delivered to my home within 7 days and that is not the truth. So far I did not get any of the remedies that are promised. Being upfront and honest is more acceptable business practice and none of this reflected when I picked up the order. I like Finlandia in general and often buy here. But they are apparently not enforcing the mask mandate for their staff, much to my dismay. When I mentioned to the cashier that a staff member was not wearing her mask, she merely shrugged and told me to tell the manager. It should not be up to customers to see that the mandate is enforced. I definitely did not feel safe in this store.

I have been purchasing from the website for years and have always had a great experience... so the website really deserves a 5/5. The online chat has been more useful and comfortable way of interacting with someone (from this store in particular) for advice. Order always received perfectly on time in the mail. Since I was in the area, I decided to step into store for the first time and it was awkward and uncomfortable. I was eventually helped by a nutritionist and it was helpful to know about what kind of diet a person with varicose veins and arthritis should follow, but it quickly turned into more of a lecture... when all I wanted was advice on a different product to help with pain from varicose veins in particular... not a food lecture... Anyway, found the in-store prices to be higher than the online ones so I ended up placing my order online. Not very pleased with the location of the store itself. It's not easy to go to if you're trying to get there by public transit from, say, downtown vancouver. For advice, I will be sticking to other natural medicine stores and stick to chatting on Finlandia's website. For ordering, I will use the website. It turns out that visiting the store is not time well-spent; for me, anyway...

I like the online customer service. I called and it was voice message and did expect that they will call after a day or 2 but they call within hours and i was surprice because its covid and people are usually busy during this seasin for customer care, an item wasnt availble with my other order so i camcel it, there wasnno hassle and got refunded right away by online. The guy i talk to was great and pleasant! Will be shopping more stuff in this place due to my experience

I just had a great experience there, super nice staff. A Karen was being abusive to them and yet they stayed professional. Large selection of products, I crossed the all city because they were the only ones carrying what I wanted. They also made a gift to me!

I have been coming here for years and its my go to place for all my Health and Wellness needs!! The staff is ALWAYS super helpful and very Knowledgable and i love they have complimentary parking which is rare in this area...they also have great naturopaths that they work with that can really pinpoint what vitamins and supplements to take and they carry anything and everything or can compound what you need...they have a great loyalty program which is a bonus...im so Happy i found this place almost 10 years ago and i highly recommend this place to all my friends that need that extra boost in thier vitality !!
