I've been going to Stonebridge Pharmacy for over 10 years, and never have I had a pharmacist there behave so rudely. I went in there because I had an annoying rash on my shoulder and wondered if they'd have something that might help (according to the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals, Pharmacists are able to prescribe for minor ailments, and my weird rash fit into that category....for all I know, I picked it up from a weird plant when hiking. I thought: why overburden the healthcare system during covid when a pharmacist can solve the problem. Cut out the middle man, right? WRONG.)
The Pharmacist (Kyle) seemed like he couldn't be bothered to help in the slightest. His words to me where 'we're not a walk in clinic... go see a doctor...there's a number of walk in clinics that are open.'
His tone was snotty, he didn't ask any questions, or even remotely try to offer any service whatsoever. I found him condescending, unhelpful, and very unprofessional...plus, he lied and said that pharmacists can't help with minor ailments despite the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals stating otherwise very clearly on their website. I have literally gone to that pharmacy for 'minor ailments' before, but I didn't bother to argue with him because why would I want help from someone who so clearly didn't want to help?! As I left, I was glad to be wearing a mask so that I could swear at him under my breath without detection. I'm sad because I liked this pharmacy, but now they can pound sand and I'll just go somewhere else.
I will definitely not return to this pharmacy for any reason, and will be moving my family's prescriptions elsewhere. I will also advise friends against using this pharmacy for all time. DO BETTER.
