Been going here for a year now.. All the staff are great. Jill is incredible she literally actually cares about people and their well being and it’s refreshing to see. They know what they’re doing and talking about. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Haven’t had a chance to try the ice cream for some reason but I’m sure that would be awesome too.

Why would you go anywhere else? Really, anyone can fill a prescription, but when you go to Midtown you ALWAYS get great, friendly service from Karen and Jill (and the other staff). We've gone there since they opened, and it's just the best. I tell all our friends. Oh, and for inoculations! It's always simple to get in and get your flu shot, or your travel shots. I've never had ANY issues.

Yesterday went in for my covid shot. I was greated by Karren and Jill wishing me a happy birthday. They are so knowledgeable, professional kind and always greet me by my first name. Karen went over in great detail anything I should know about my covid shot. I drive 30 plus min because I always receive outstanding customer service / care evertime I walk in. Thank you for always taking care of me and my family????????

Everyone should come here for their prescription needs. The staff go above and beyond to assist. As this city rapidly increases and the big box stores come in, I am more and more thankful for the small local businesses like Midtown Apothecary that still operate with a personal touch. A few years ago when I was suffering from a herniated disc in my back, Karen personally insisted she carry my order out to my car for me. I won't forget what an impact that small gesture made on me. It's easy to see that the staff truly care for their clients. Thanks to all who work here and all those who keep the small shops running.

Simply the best. Hands down. I'm a somewhat complicated, pain-in-the-behind patient but Jill and Karen always find ways to make things infinitely easier for me; to make me feel as 'normal' as possible. And I'm always greeted like I'm a best friend. So, in a nutshell, at Midtown Apothecary we have exceptional, proactive, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, personable pharmacists and their lovely staff. What more could one possibly want from their apothecary?! ????

Cool lil store love the name! I'm new to the area and took my kids for the first time for some ice cream! So many options and hard ice cream which is hard to come by around here . Friendly staff , OTC stuff from the pharmacy, purses, hard candy!

I love this place! I drive out of my way to get my prescriptions filled, travel shots and the flu shot. This year, I got my flu shot on Thanksgiving Sunday - when many other places are closed. Karen had hot cookies for people after the flu shot and took the time to explain the process to me. I have already referred may family and friends. I wish I could give Midtown Apothecary a higher rating!!

I was told by quite a few patrons of my workplace that this pharmacy was their preferred location, so I finally decided to pay a visit. This place is totally cheating. They have an ice cream stand right as you walk in that serves Foothills Creamery icecream, arguably the best brand, and with a great variety too (bubblegum is S+ tier, I greatly recommend). All humour aside, the staff here are so warm and welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They are very friendly and patient when describing medications, vaccines, and services. I will highly recommend this pharmacy to our patrons who don't already have a preferred pharmacy, and anyone else who is looking for a pharmacy. If there was only one thing I could change about this place, it would be to offer slightly longer hours, otherwise they still get a full 5 stars, and begrudgingly unofficial 6th star for the Foothills Creamery ice cream stand, which is a personal weakness of mine.

The charming name 'Apothecary' along with the eclectic array of antique memorabilia set this establishment apart, and immediately make one feel welcome and comfortable. The friendly staff provide a level of service long abandoned and quite unexpected in this day and age. Very pleased my wife discovered and recommended them to me.

Where do I start? The people here are amazing!! we are travelling to Cuba and Costa Rica within a couple months, and when I called Alberta travel clinic they wouldn't consult us on both travel places but that we needed two consults resulting in two consults fees per person ($48/person). I was referred to here as they are local was so much more convenient for us. I called and Karen spent a good 15 minutes answering my questions about our trip, gathering our direct billing information and calling me back to let me know it was covered. I have never received this kind of personal service, ever! we made our appointment for myself my husband and two children. Karen and Jill were fantastic when we went. she went over the meds that we needed, and when to take the medication so that it would cover both trips rather than doing it again for the second one. she was so thorough, professional and friendly. when it came time to my kids needles they didn't even cry. she also told us about the flu clinic coming up and diarized to call us to book appointments. we also needed a 6 month top up for our immunizations which they diarized that as well to call us to book that closer to. I am so amazed and impressed with their service I will only be coming here from now on. the only thing I wish they would change and it's not midtown it's all pharmacies is that they could administer shots for children under 5. again that's not midtown it's all pharmacies, so I can't even deduct any points for that. 5/5 for these guys here.

I cannot say enough great things about the Midtown Apothecary, Karen, Jill and everyone at the pharmacy. Karen saved my life, literally, by giving me Aspirin and calling 911 while I was having a heart attack. She stayed with me the whole time until the ambulance arrived and followed up with my wife throughout the course of the weekend. I will forever be grateful.

My experience here has always been excellent. It doesn't matter if I've stopped in to pick up a simple cold remedy, to have a prescription filled, or even for an ice cream. Myself and my family are always treated very well and welcomed like friends. We come to Midtown for all our medicines and our annual flu shots too! I would strongly recommend them!

Such great staff! Realized 30 minutes before leaving for a trip that we were out of Ventolin, went to Midtown Apothecary and the lovely lady working dropped everything and had a Ventolin ready for me in 5 minutes. So impressed with the service and it was such a cute shop. Can't wait to head there for ice cream this summer.

I wish there was a way to give them more than 5 stars. They went way beyond what I would expect from any establishment. Our family came in for flu shots and they were amazing with my children. They were kind and patient with my son who is autistic and non cooperative. Saying he was nervous is an understatement. They stayed past closing to get it done without rushing us. I will never forget how well we were treated here. I would highly recommend Midtown Apothecary. It is by far, the best pharmacy in St. Albert.

Just visited Midtown Apothecary in St. Albert, Alberta this afternoon for our flu shots. We were highly recommended by our son to check out this place after his two young sons aged 5 and 7 took their flu shots without even a flinch. Such a relief! Let me tell you it was WELL WORTH DRIVE! We were received and treated with big smiles and a warm welcome. Our flu shots were COMPLETELY painless and we did not have to wait at all keeping in mind it was 1:00pm on Friday afternoon before our Thanksgiving long weekend. Then after our shots we were offered a complimentary coffee and cookie while we waited to see if there was to be any reactions to this shot. The owner/pharmacist was delightful as she answered a number of questions about our prescription details and up coming shots for our travel needs. Both my husband and I are retired so we have had many prescriptions and shots over the years but never have experienced such a warm, caring atmosphere as here at Midtown Apothecary. After having called a number of other pharmacies looking for information I happened upon Midtown Apothecary where I was greeted by one of the most knowledgeable pharmacists that so freely gave me her time and educated me.
