Here you will be able to see all the reviews of people who used the products of Costco Wholesale (Pharmacy) in the territory close to Saint Albert (Canada).
Now this business gets a rating of 4.5 over 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is practically the best, and it is based on a large number of opinions, so we may be pretty sure that the score is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to give opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Pharmacy corresponds to the category of Warehouse store.
It was busy as always but because it's so big you can distance, they have someone there to give you mask if you'd like one and hand sanitizer so it's a win win. We need our glasses repaired and they did a great job for free! Kind and professional staff all taking precautions.
I only come to this Costco. St Albert sure knows how to keep shoppers happy. I love that lines get long but they go super fast so wait is never long. They always have everything I need and more. Some things I find they only have and no other Costco carries it.
I Went to Costco yesterday, and could not believe the price of beef. Costco is definitely price gouging their customers!!!! I know ranchers and they are selling their beef for way less these days yet the price for a whole Sirloin which I used to buy there and cut myself before the pandemic was appropriately $65.00 each and now they are selling it for $125.00 each. Costco you should be ashamed of yourselves your are disgraceful! What the owners of Costco are not rich enough yet? The government should investigate your shoddy and nefarious price gouging practices. I will never shop at Costco again.
It's a great place to shop.
Went at the Seniors time slot but disappointed that there seemed to a shortage of steak and Salmon/trout fillets. Is that what happens when you come in early? Otherwise everything was dealt with very professionally from Seniors getting in to clean carts in and clean carts out.
It's a Costco, it was busy and everyone wants to be first. We come here fore pharmacy, hotdogs gas, tire service and spending at least 2-3 hundred in groceries
Costco is funny. free samples is funny. I like the samples they taste good and funny ????
The best place to one stop. The customers at Costco tend to be more mask observant as well. I commend them for taking the health of employees and customers seriously.
Staff seem to enjoy wasting customers' time by making us traverse through an empty maze of ropes. If there was a dense line up of customers, this would make sense. However, it's senseless to enforce this rule when only a couple customers trickle in one at a time.
Got my second dose of Covid 19 vaccine there and some stuff I needed and it's a great place for all you need.
Love how wide the aisles are and the covid lines go by quickly. Lots of staff and we'll stocked! Great experience! ????❤️
With the new check out aisles, I was in and out in no time!
I prefer driving out of the way to this Costco Vs. the Clareview location by my house. This location tends to be less crowded (still very crowded though, just less so), has a liquor store, and tends to stock more higher end items. Definitely worth the drive!
Costco is good, but sometimes need a few new products for lunches etc. Seems many of the aisles have had the same offerings forever. Need to continually rotate in new.
I enjoy shopping at the St.Albert Costco. Mostly for the blowouts and fresh fruit. Beef prices are high however at least they have quality meats and cheeses. We have purchased electronics and always been happy with the option to return if …
Line ups are always crazy long. Kirkland eggs are weird, when I scramble them they foam...that's not natural. On the other hand Kirkland ice cream is super tasty. Any store that makes you pay to simply enter the store is stupid. I shouldn't have to pay to go inside and give them more money. Super scam is what this place should be called.
Bit of a sausage party but great store
Costco has just about everything in large sizes or large quantities. I usually come to get groceries and end up leaving with a bunch of other stuff too. They have clothing, electronics, automotives, sporting goods, furniture, patio furniture and a lot of other stuff too. My favorite part is usually the free food samples though. It gets quite busy so if you can avoid Saturdays you should.
Organize & always clean! Majority of the crew are very helpful & accommodating.
My rating would be five stars, except they changed the self checkout model so that a staff member has to ring you through anyway. The whole point of doing the SELF checkout is so that I don't have to speak to anyone and nobody else has to touch my food/items. Please consider mandating hand hygiene and glove changes in between each customer.
I love Costco St. Albert. People are nicer. Far fewer people..and I did see a TV i liked. Might be mine ... Thats about it. Well stocked, clean, neat. They're right on items people put anywhere when they dont them.
People think oh cheep, well wake up weather you pay 60 + or 120 plus before you walk through the doors and their staple items tp and hand towels have been raised up to 25% not too mention all the American made items which seem to take away canadian content or products. Now with the made for human consumption items in their new warehouse, people need to try n buy local by canadian and get out of the house and support a made in alberta solution!
Awe I love Costco. Getting groceries, tires and grandkids Christmas gifts all in one place. Love the gas bar and money back at the end of the year with my membership.
Not the best one in edmonton. But its not crowded.
Staff was great. Was in and out quick. Kinda cool how they explained the alberta liquor laws and how the membership doesn’t apply to the liquor store.
Very clean, well stocked. Cashier lines are typically short but if they get long, the line moves quickly. Gas Bar, Liquor Store, Mobile Phone kiosk, Tire Shop & Propane.
Very friendly staff, clean store..just run out of products quickly and lack some items..(no whipping cream today..have to drive elsewhere...no silk almond milk for coffee...stuff like that ...but nice place)
Typical Costco However this one is well organized and well stocked every time we stop in. great location for the last stop before we leave the city.
This is by far the best Costco I've been to. The tills are very quick and efficient. There are multiple entrances and exits which allow traffic to flow smoothly. The store is clean and always a pleasure to visit.
You cannot beat the quality and prices here. And my 5 year old son absolutely LOVES Curtis the cashier! They have a conversation every time they see each other. My son begs me to go to Curtis’ line every single time. Thank you Curtis for being a human and engaging in conversation my little guy. You really make his day- and mine!! We need more people around like you!
Went in to check out the tire center, the staff was very helpful and helped me to figure out what tires I needed and then walked me through the options available. They helped me to decide to mint the tires on rims and add TPS sensors just for convenience sake They were about 300 dollars cheaper than the next place I checked.
Busy as usual but the only problem I'm having is that they're moving their items around a lot so I was not able to find some of the things I was looking for. Other than that it's always a pleasant experience.
The grossest thing I had ever seen was the manager with BARE HANDS moving mozza sticks "to be displayed better". These were being handed out as samples... Be aware. This was probably around March of 2020 when I saw this and I can't stop thinking about it whenever I'm in the store.
Love this place but the line up seems unnecessary at this point. While I’m not against getting more exercise, it seems redundantly walk to the back of the line to be inside the building in 2 minutes anyway.
On April 17, 2021 I bought a Samsung tv from the St. Albert Costco; shortly thereafter I had a family emergency out of the country and unfortunately, recently I noticed dark spots forming on the screen. Because I’ve always had good experiences with Costco in the past, I brought my tv and receipt to do a return where I was gruffly told that after 90 days, I would have to deal with the Costco Concierge. I spoke to the concierge, who gave me no assistance and transferred me to deal with Samsung directly. The Samsung call center was also of no help whatsoever. I am very disappointed in Costco; I have a $2,500 tv that is 6 months old, which I can no longer use and after being bounced around for almost an hour, there is no more to be done. I will not make any larger item purchases at Costco due to their very poor customer service!
Love Costco, good prices, good products but still annoying getting practically frisked on the way out even after having to show ID to get in. Smh
Costco. Get a membership. I'm member since June 1988. I shop on 2 continents. Many others in Japan, South Korea, Australia, Spain and Iceland. 95 million members choose the best products by their shopping habits. Be careful though because many even buy freezers from Costco to store "good deals". Bon chance
Great time at Costco. Very clean and well kept, gas station flows well, and the tire centre was prompt and courteous when I bought a brand new set of tires for my SUV.
Tire Center customer service lacks due to policies. Had my car in there to fix a leak a Good Year tire. They said they couldn't fix it as they claimed that there was a screw in the sidewall. They put my spare tire on without my permission and said that I needed to buy new tires and sent me on my way for $16. I took the car to Fountain Tire and in 30 minutes they had it patched (the leak was on the edge of the tread area), mounted it on my car and put the spare back nice and neat all for free since they are a Good Year dealer.
WOREST COSTCO FOR HELPING COMPLETE JOKE AT CHECK OUTS 1 HR 15 MIN TO GET TO A TILL BECAUSE THE PUT A 12 YR OLD TO DIRECT THE HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS. NO ONE LISTEN AND PEOPLE JUMP LINE AND THE EMPLOYEES LAUGHS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WOREST IN ALBERTA WHAT A JOKE
They sell in bulk, but you need to be a member to shop here. The annual membership few is around 60 cad, but i think it's worth it if you frequent the place. They have other great services such as tire services, cheap fuel sales, and a food court that's good and affordable. The customer service isn't the best sometimes, and i think it has to do with the high volumes of people they attend to in a day. Parking can be exceptionally difficult during weekends.
Costco. What can someone say that hasn’t already been said... They are the model of consistency. You always know what to expect from Costco and this St Albert location is no different. 2 thumbs way up!
I really enjoyed my shopping experience at this locale. This Costco is much larger than my neighborhood location (Clairview). Staff were very friendly and helpful as I've come to expect when shopping at Costco. Thanks again for a quick and easy shopping stop.
Well organized. Efficient service at counter and checkout. The roast chicken is the best anywhere and a good value!
We love to shop for family here. Lots to choose from. My only concern is that Costco imports produce from the USA, when fruits and vegetables are being produced here in Canada ????????
Clear and aisles are further apart than some. I go on a week night and line moves very quickly
Store was getting busy, probably pandemic panic shopping again.....but that's another issue. Friendly staff. Kind customers let us ahead of them because we were buying very little. It was really nice of them. Everyone wearing masks and adhering to rules as best they could. I was shown cell phones I was interested in, and they answered my questions well. Better deals if you're getting a plan, I was looking at unlocked phones so it wasn't as good. First real experience as a membership holding shopper, and it was good. Prices are good on certain things but you have to buy in such large quantities which is okay for a bigger family, harder for a couple.
This place is awesome! I brought back a battery that was 11 months old thinking it would be under warranty, but after looking at the battery it only had a one year pro rated warranty. The return person talked to her manager and they chose to fully cover it and gave me all my money back. Not for long though they got all that money back and then some 40 min later. Thanks Costco.
I was helped by an employee named Irene who went above and beyond to assist me with a product. I wanted to say thank you but it appeared she had left already. That customer service is why I choose Costco for so many purchases above all
I love going to Costco, hate the lines but hey the deals are worth it
Tire centre never answer phone calls
I mean it's costco, you can't go wrong with it. Last time I was there was for an eye appointment and I live the frame selection they have. I am in love with my new glasses
This particular Costco is always really well stocked, clean, and organised. They also have more variety of items and movie passes for both Cineplex and Landmark.
I love going to Costco of St.Albert and the other branch at south side They carry alot of Indian varieties I would recommend st Albert too to carry some Indian food as well to avoid going all the way to south side I love their produce stuff It stays for long Very sad on the prices gone up on cooking oil, beef, and many other stuff as well... Have to shop around for prices.. But above all friendly staff very helpful Neat and clean Love costco
We live 20 minutes from this Costco, it has ample parking, all of the products and services that you want in a Costco including the gas station and liquor store. It seems like no matter how many people are in the parking lot or store there is always ample room and the lines move quickly.
Tire Center garbage, paid for a pair of winter tires and waited a week and a half to be installed only to be told that they only install them in sets of 4 by the overly condescending person at the counter. Guess a phone call would have been too much to ask for rather than have to leave work early and waste my time. Excellent business model though, don’t bother trying to up sell. Ridiculous.
This location has great parking stalls and the inside is so clean and well laid out. Bonus that there’s a liquor store here too!
The team and management here is excellent. They are maintaining safe attitudes towards people's health, and that's important to me. We're all tired of the restrictions, I wish they sold more Keto/low sugar snacks, but it's my fault I eat like there's no food left on the planet I guess, not Costco's. Thanks crew. Meatballs was hot too.
Amazing prices to fill propane tanks, actually only charge you for the amount of propane that goes in. It cost me less to fill two tanks here than the flat rate charged to fill one tank at other places.
Costco has to be my favourite place to shop for not only groceries but also tires, electronics and house hold neccesitys beacuse of there amzaing deals and freindly staff.
One of the best Costco. I like their parking lot, how you can walk between cars so your not in the middle of the road
Probably the best costco around Edmonton. The checkout lines are usually well managed but parking can be tight. Parking stalls are the doubled lines to fit larger vehicles and give room to open doors but as per usual like any costco... it's busy
We ordered a bedroom set from Costco back in July. It arrived broken, and now with 2 weeks before Christmas they want to take it for the refund. Although I appreciate they would refund the set, it’s been such a pain to deal with this. Usually they have been very good for returns. I guess these large online orders are just not advisable.
They always offer the best products and prices. I visit Costco every week, 65km away. Always exceed expectations.
Best place for buying in bulk, not just for families but I stock up on toilet paper, and other frozen stuff for cheaper than other grocery stores
One of my list items wasn't available. Other than that, visit was satisfactory. It would be nice to have more self-checkouts and/or low item lines. Longish wait despite time of day usually being slower.
Costco is definitely one of my favorite stores to visit! I went to the St Albert Costco and I find it is always clean, organized and well stocked.
Same as always. Very busy but most checkouts open. Lots of Christmas items. Provided you like the prices and don't mind buying in volume and mainstream only items it's an excellent store.
This Costco is definitely a good Costco and has good stock however the parking is a little mundane
Nice & clean, well-stocked, and properly organized. Appreciate the variety and the growing selection of organic foods. The lines move fast & efficiently and there are always friendly and helpful associates around when you need them. Love the new self-checkout tills now too! Never had a bad experience at the St. Albert Costco.
Had to get a card Renew . The lady was very helpful an nice The propain guy In the yard was very Good. The liquor store Lady was allso Fantastic. It was all good. But busy ????
Legendary customer service. If you're not happy with anything you buy they will sort it out for you. I've never had any bad experience here. Be careful buying some tech products here. Although you will always get brand new products, they sometimes are older generation products that are still being sold at full price (like the Bose Soundlink Mini 1).you can often find these older products elsewhere for much less than at Costco. Other times they will carry current products at significantly discounted prices. Do your research before buying and you'll be golden. This particular location has very poor cellular reception in the building for some reason. No big deal. Highly recommended. Like I said, legendary customer service.
My car had a bad rumble off and on so i thought i lost a weight or something took it in, turns out they put my winter lug nuts on with my stock tires... and three of them where comeing off... went and got my other lug nuts for those tires put on, they neglected to tell me one was missing , come back for my torque check the next day and the guy doing to torque had to tell me. It was on the paperwork but nothing was said to my face or the three others with me. Costco is the only ones that had touched these tires, so they signed off on improper installation and they loose your parts, So thats three days in a row i’ve had to come into St Albert to fix this. Expected better
Costco is doing an excellent job considering how they are handling things. I do find the lines get crowded and seem unsafe.
Huge, clean and all around Costco. The inverse layout was a bit of a shock but all in all not bad. Really need to get the traffic light situation figured out. One light is only green in one direction for 9 seconds!
It's a Costco! Pretty clean and organized. Make sure you have a membership for discounted gas prices and in warehouse purchases. The liquor store has excellent prices and does not require a membership to shop.
It's a standard Costco. Nothing out of the ordinary. Good selection, produce, lots of parking.
Pretty much the same as every other Costco store, However there is particular things I don't like about this store that are simple enough and should be be changed so I took away a star. The electronic section is a mess, the computers on display are not connected to the internet, so you can't test them, or look up their specs. The TV displays are all displaying different quality images, and some have the settings altered a little to much, at the very least, all the TV's should be displaying the highest resolution possible. I am sure all the displays and internet connections could be fixed within a matter of a hour or two. Costco should really try and make there displays, look as best as possible.
Good Costco. So good that I go every week.
Way to go Costco.. Gas, groceries and the flu shot. Awesome. Clean. Well stocked.
It's Costco, found everything I needed and more.
I just bought the basket ball hoop and I got 2 prices stuck together that werent lining up. I went to the tire center and channie, Jordan, and Ed helped get these pieces unstuck for me. My husband is away and they didn't have to help but their kindness and willing to help just made my day . Thanks to all 3 of you you are my sons savor today !!!
They carry a lot of the products I need, often at amazing prices, customer support is excellent, and they have the single most unbelievable return policy! I easily save far more money than the cost of membership!
Always easy access to parking lot. Always in and out in under an hour for groceries and other stuff. They can improve the tire department through booking appointments. They currently run a first come first serve system.
Best place in town for propane if you don’t mind a lineup. As always the products are top notch and the return policy is just as good. Staff are very helpful but sure have to put up with a lot of high maintenance customers. Don’t let the hoity toity ones weaken your mission. Keep up the good work!
We always stock up here on groceries and gas before heading on our way home, 5 hrs north. It is conveniently located off of the main Hwy (easy access) and has other popular retail and food outlets surrounding it.
Not too bad at all, was pleasantly surprised as have never been at this Costco. Good thing I grabbed a cart on ghe way in from the parking lot. Place was very clean, well organized and the lineup for the tills went really quick!!
Very good and cheap food at they're food courts ????
I just love my St. Albert Costco. The people are so friendly. I was disappointed with the chicken wings I ordered from the concession. (1st time ordering those.) They seemed very rubbery to me. I at times treat myself to Poutine and that is the best deal going for Poutine.
Good selection, sizes, and prices in the liquor store. Helpful, friendly staff.
Everything you need, one stop shopping! Thank you for the help!
Really helpful and friendly staff. 3 stars have to do with customer service desk at the store as they, for 6 month now, keep promising to sort out an issue with my membership rewards to get to me but can't. I am at the point where I am going to switch back from Executive to Business.
Long lines. Not enough staff on. Typical Costco. I found some of the same items for alot less at Canadian Superstore. Couldn't find any staff around to help locate an item. The over all experience left me feeling more like a number to them and to hurry it along. Won't renew my membership.
The parking lot was full and I thought there would be long line ups at the checkout. I only needed a few things and then went to express checkout. There was only 1 person ahead of me. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes which was fantastic.
You can't go wrong with a Costco Membership. I've been to many liquor stores in town but I gotta say Costco has CHEAP LIQUOR!
As with all Costco's, this one is great. Very clean and enjoyable location to shop.
Nice costco love the lay out and the new till area. You dont really wait for anything. My only issue is the parking lot wow its nuts. Who ever designed this needs to go back to school and learn traffic flow. What a mess.
Wasnt impressed with my visit today. I setup my account years ago with Costco. Costco allowed my ex-wife become the primary because she shopped there more then I did. They then allowed her to remove me from my own account that I've paid for every year. I was so embarrassed when at the cash register they told me my account was locked. The employee then started yelling for a manager. The manager then escorted me away in front of other customers. As I said I've paid for my account every year. They had me buy a new account. Basically they then got two membership payments from me this year. I feel I was robbed by Costco.
Nice newer Costco. Getting in and out can be very painful. Lines to get to checkout depend on the COVID protocol of the week.
Huge new facility.. Tons of parking, but because the store is full all the time it is hard to try and find parking. Clean store, newer well working carts. Larger store selection to ensure they have pretty much anything Costco offers. Overall a decent costco
Got a membership, then got scoffed at/laughed at for not getting the executive membership. I dislike having people attempt to upsell to me then make light of my choice.
I really like shopping here. It's not as busy as some other Costco. I find that this location actually have staff that are really helpful and know where things are. I usually find what I need here as it's nicely stocked all the time
This is our favourite Costco location, mostly because it is the closest to where we live, but also because of how fast the lines move. This location is always quite busy so sometimes it is tough to find parking, but unlike some of the other Costco locations the lines here move so fast. Must be a testament to the staff on the tills - keep it up!
Best Costco to shop in! Not as busy as Edmonton, definitely more selection than other ones. Best prices all the time I am a gold member and honestly it is worth it, you can shop online too and they have great deals on natural supplements. Great quality products at great prices. Not to mention their gas prices. I would recommend to anyone with a family of at least 3 you could benefit from being a member.
Absolutely the worst Costco I have ever been to!!!! I bought a washing machine and I tried returning it the same cause it was very loud during the spin cycle if could I would post a video Now I’m being told I can’t return the washing machine because Costco didn’t install or deliver Prime example of False information with their return policy
Favorite Costco in the Edmonton area as it's well organized, spacious, and has everything you need (and don't)
I like going to the St. Albert Costco. The staff observes good costumer service and is always accommodating and happy to help! So it's a 5 star!
This was our first trip to this location As usual, we entered aiming to stick to a list. As usual we left with way more. ???? It was busy, but not overwhelming. We found everything easily, and the line ups at the checkouts were moving quickly, and the packer and cashier were delightful. The bonus was that we were given 2 boxes when our purchase would not fit into one, which hasn't happened before at our usual location. Will be back for sure!
Never a bad experience with Costco. This Costco has a liquor store don't need a membership card. Good prices on scotch and vodka.
Staff are very helpy and friendly, store layout is great, recommend becoming a member
Great location with different variety than the rest ????????
This is probably the best Costco in the Edmonton area when it comes to line ups. I think it's the high number of stay-at-home parents shopping during the weekdays that keep the lines down on the weekends. This location has the typical services; gas, propane, tires, liquor, glasses, and prescriptions. I have not seen halal meat here.
A nice Costco. This is better organised than most with shorter queues. There is a good variety of products. They are taking hygiene very seriously which is reassuring during the COVID-19 period.
The people that work at Costco are always very friendly and helpful. Today I was in the lineup when I saw another person with a huge plastic jar of cheese balls. I asked her where they were located. One of the Costco workers heard me ask, told me where to find them then went and got me a jar so that I could stay in line.
I was amazed! A new building storage in St. Albert and this is near to Costco. This is really a strategic location. It’s easy access in both ways if your going to south, east and west because it’s near to Anthony Henday the 216 west bound and east bound and south bound direction. My experience only was the outside man’s eye view. So if I have a chance to look around inside the building I could explain further so that people will understand about there business. I was interested to this area who knows I could use their storage and the most important that we know the price per unit. But I’m sure they have parking lots and elevator and automatic doors. So that people will always comeback if they’re satisfied.????????. Will thank you google maps having opportunities to express my experience. While working in company Standard General roadsides works. We make sure they’re sidewalks, curb and gutter. We did it beautiful. Thanks and have a good day everyone in St. Albert Alberta Canada. Glenn Gonzaga Small business owner ????????
Warehouse shopping at great prices. One thing to keep in mind you do need a membership to shop here. But once you’re in you get fantastic prices and if you’re not happy with what you got they have a no hassle return policy the best of any store. I have been a member for 15 plus years and have always enjoyed shopping here. This location has just opened and it clean and well lit. It is well designed and easy to get around in. Love this place.
This is my favourite Costco, it’s organized and well stocked.
Did the self check with the help of a Costco employee and he basically did everything, he was very fast and helpful. Would do it again.
Given the current circumstances, I think Costco is doing an excellent job too ensure people are getting what they need in a safe way. There was a small lineup outside but we didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to get in. A staff member wiped down our cart as we went in and staff were clear about the new protocols in place to ensure social distancing for shoppers and staff members. Yes, there are some high demand items that are more difficult to find but for the most part I was able to get the supplies I was looking for. Thanks Costco for helping keep my family stocked up and ready to deal with this whole ordeal.
My favorite Costco to go to because its so organized, always stocked, and people are nice, plus it's not overcrowded or hectic like some others. The food court is also always good because the workers are nice, fast, and the food always tastes good.
My purchase was embassy paper towel I bought 7 packages at 25.99 each... I shop for a non profit organization. I was mocked by s customer which doesn't matter some people like to judge. I gave 2 stars today bc I was mocked my the self check out staff. Her response when I walked up was (here who again loading up on paper towel .. My response was I travel over an hour to get here I'm buying these packages for a non profit organization that their special machine needs these special paper towels. There no I've been mocked by at least 2 customers and I I shouldn't need to explain myself. Lady said to me I would doesn't matter there is no limit on these ones
Very efficiently ran and well-stocked despite the ongoing pandemic. Line's are organized and move quickly, very on top of ensuring everyone is following guidelines to keep the shopping experience safe for all.
Stopped for gas on our way out of town. There were no limes and we were able to get I and out quickly due to the great traffic layout! Looking forward to another store opening in Leduc to make the other stores less crazed.
Very nice and well maintained. Lots of great deals, and very friendly staff. Best to go during off hours, as the weekends seem very busy. Line ups take a while, and stretch into the aisles. All around great experience.
Most of the time, they are pretty good, but I wonder how they cut their pizza,
fruits and vegetables always fresh. but I wanted some raspberries and they were sold out on the floor and said they won't restock the floor until tommorrow even though they had more in the back. found that weird.
Can't beat Costco best part about them is their Costco Mastercard and the annual rebates! I never get bored with Costco and enjoy shopping here. All the Costco locations are great!
Go in and spend your paycheck ????! But seriously they have quite a few organic products for the fraction of the cost. Kirkland brand is great. Return policy is AWESOME! Plus where else can you still get a huge hotdog and pop for a buck and a half?
I had few questions about their tire service, so I called and the lady was phenomenal. She explained things I need to know very kindly, and even checked some stuff for me online over the phone:) Kind customer service, more reasons to be a member of Costco:)) Thanks again!:)
Poor customer service. They have the last couch available out of multiple stores but the store wouldn't sell us the couch because they might be receiving more. We rented a trailer to pick this up and was told they don't want our business.
Store is clean and the aisles are wide, but they have to do something about the checkouts. There is always a line up to leave and then get up to the front to find that only 1/3 of the checkouts are open.
Great Costco. Can get extremely busy at times but they always have a decent selection. Not sure why stuffed jalapenos are always out of stock here though!
Love visiting this location.. Compared to the Costco on 149st and 50 st, this is very clean with tons of parking space. Lots of new stores coming up around this Costco so that might change things. Also has a gas station with cheaper prices as usual at Costco. Always very clean and excellent service!
Love love love Costco! And the St. Albert location is worth the drive. Not far from edm and rarely ever as busy as other stores... Has liquor /gas bar / propane /tire warehouse. What more could you ask for :)
Huge Costco with gas station and liquor store. Nice garden center in the early spring.
I find this is one of the few Costco's i've been to that has enough people working the cash register. It's busy but the lines move fast enough that you aren't waiting forever to pay and get out.
The samples were pretty weak when compared to other Costco's. We went there over lunch expecting to be fed and left hungry. The packing folks should perhaps take a couple lesson on how to pack. Our bananas was packed with the face cream and put under the water jugs. Also, the pizza (which had to be purchased due to the shortage of samples) was g-r-e-e-e-asy. The bathrooms were clean before I got there.
Some great deals but more if buying in bulk for a family than single person. Propane gas for BBQ is very cheap. I've filled up an empty one for under $9!
It’s Costco. Love it or hate it, it’s Costco. I wish they sold their food court’s chicken strips in the store.
Love Costco! Only bad thing (which is a good thing to their rating) is I always send more money than I mean to! Even when I go for one specific thing I buy at least one or two more items! Love Costco!!!
Nice to have a Costco in St. Albert, staff is friendly and good selection. Parking lot is a mess and very congested, leading to annoyed drivers, and can probably cause an incident. Otherwise a good location.
The St. Albert Costco we consider our Costco. We have three Costcos within easy driving distance, but we always choose the St. Albert location. The Costco at River Cree is the same as St. Albert but as I recall is laid out the opposite to the St. Albert store. The West-End location off the Yellowhead is smaller and it just doesn't flow as nicely as the newer stores. The St. Albert and West End Costco has the best parking. The River Cree location seems to have less parking and seems more congested.
Finally a Costco in St. Albert! My parents used to drive ~20 minutes to get to the Costco in Edmonton, where I always used to get a hot dog. Now I don't have to go that far to get one anymore!
Its a nice Costco. Good selection of items. Saturdays are quite a bit busy but a good experience over all.
It's the best Costco in the city because it usually is a lot less crowded. But...... I bought tires here at the tire center. I wasn't going to wait 2 hours for them to install the tires so I just bought them out right and took them to my mechanic to install. The one thing that has be kinda worried, is that as soon as I showed the tires to my mechanic he right away knew they were from Costco. He said Costco tires have a 1/3 less tread then normal Michelin Tires that you would normally get from a mom and pop shop. I found that to be interesting and so I searched Costco tires online on some forums and I was shocked at the amount of unhappy customers who bought tires at Costco and not some other tire place. I read about blow outs, and only getting thirty to sixty thousand km's and then having to replace because they go bald fast. many mechanics are speaking out online saying Costco tires are not the same quality as the originals. I really hope this isn't the case. If it's true I will never get michelin tires again, not from Costco not from any where. I already had bad experiences with Goodyear tires and Cooper tires, so I'm giving Michelin tires a chance here. If I do have any issues I will come back and change this review.
Love this Costco location. First time there today and will be going back every time I'm in the area. Just flowed in and out of the store without running into too much traffic inside or outside there store. Great experience !
Very crowded and busy, but lots of checkouts open, didn't have to wait in line
NO GAS BAR. ...but! There's a Liquor Store with AMAZING deals and you do NOT need a membership to shop there... 'nough said???? To be clear it's the Costco liquor store you dont need the membership... Happy Shoppin'. H.
Costco is great... But the customers are the worst!! Learn how to use a cart! Parking? Make sure your premiums are paid!! If you've ever been to a Costco... Any Costco... You already know this.
Great selection of items at good prices. Free parking & Handicap Parking. Ride-on scooters also available for Handicap use but a very limited supply Cheapest gas prices around & Great news for those who love to BBQ...propane also sold here. Also right adjacent, a liquor store, also Costcos.
It is a Costco...well laid out, variety of product, and long lineups at the checkouts. Still, due to location and quality of product..pricing..know your prices!..one of my favorite places to go. And.. Gas Bar!
Everyone loves Costco. This one is one of the newest ones, and super clean, tidy, and convenient. Nothing special - Costco is Costco, but newer ones are worth checking out.
Well stocked and clean, helpful staff as well. Not all Costco stores carry all products, but because of it's size this location has almost everything you might need.
Thank you to Kim who I believe NIS.one of the supervisers at the st.albert Costco. She really helped turn a bad situation into good. My husband had forgotten 2 milks and a watermelon in a cart and by the time he got home he noticed it was missing. He called and they said it wasn't returned so when I dropped by costco about half an hour later items were still not returned but kim helped turn the situation around and gave me my two milks and watermelon. Yes it's unfortunate that people will have the tendency to just take something they didn't pay for and it happens where people forget things but people like Kim who help those victims and turn the situation around I am very thankful for.
Filled 4 propane bottles did our shopping cashed our rebate less than an hour. Staff always ready to help when asked.
you ask the front door for mask as i forgot in car and car far as costco busy , she say you should have yours, and when you complain to the MANAGER instead of apologize he say yes we should not supply with mask, next visit ask for lysol to clean the cart seat for kid, she say why???? all costco offer at the door with out asking ,even if you need mask they give you with out arguing,, i will not back to st.albert costco
I buy everything from Costco! Great place to get everything even glasses, and tires!!
Location is always busy, but never have a issue finding something.
Lots of parking. Good place to get propane before heading to the N.W.T.
Awesome customer service in the tire department!
Always able to find great prices on food and other items at Costco. Pretty hard to beat their prices on many of their products. Their shopping carts are sanitized for you. Having their MasterCard and earning cashback on all your purchases is pretty awesome. Lineups to pay can be quite long during busy times but it's still one of the best places to shop for groceries and household items. Store is always kept very neat and tidy and staff is very friendly and helpful.
Easily my favourite Costco in the area. It’s well stocked and organized. Looks clean and people are friendly here. The food court is also clean which makes it more appealing to have a snack here. Their food is always fresh unlike the Costco on Yellowhead and 149 avenue.
Costco has everything you need in bulk and more. Great prizes and good fresh food (meat, produce, etc.) quality. Also I love the free samples
They have a few items that you cannot find in Edmonton, there is a liquor store and a place to refill propane tanks.
It's Costco - pretty much has everything you would expect a Costco to have. Getting in and out is very easy given the location. Parking and gas are very accessible. It can get very busy at times, but it is large enough that you don't notice. The tire centre has always done good work for us and has things finished when promised. There is a Costco liquor store on site for those needing to forget the pandemic.
I love the lay out of this store and most of the time I find what I'm looking for. The one thing that irritates me and upsets me is how shopping carts are left in handicap parking and in the designated zones in handicap parking for wheelchair ramps. Cart collectors do not empty these spots, they see them and keep on walking. It's very disheartening to see that not all customers are treated equal. I have witnessed this many times at this location.
The store is wonderful EXCEPT, they keep moving some products around. It is one thing if the fish isle is one isle over. You can still easily see it. It is fine if the pop isle moves over one isle...it is large and you can see it. Fine, move the tomatoes and onions..they are still in the vegetable area. However, lately they have started moving individual products like canned tomatoes and bags of popcorn, in totally different locations very frequently. I have even asked staff if the products are gone and they say they know they are in stock but they can't even find them. I have gone to four locations where I found a product before and it isn't in any of them. This is extremely frustrating.
This Costco is not as busy as other ones I've been to and it was surprisingly easy to walk around in, and plus there were more supplies for things I normally couldn't find or they were out of stock.
Only 3 regular cash registers open and four express. Bad scheduling to have more express open then regular. Lineup took forever even store was not very busy.
SO impressed with their 19.99$ cake. They made my son a zoo themed one for my son's 6th birthday. Ordered it yesterday for today and came even an hr earlier than I said and VOILA it was done already. Amazing customer service and such a beautiful cake for 20$ wow
I understand the long line ups to limit the amount of people in the store, I truly appreciate the staff doing there best to keep everyone safe as possible. We forgot our card and only had our online Costco membership with us, so I asked one of the employees while we stood outside if this was good enough to get in to shop, he said no problem. so we continued to wait outside until it was out turn to get in. When we went to get into the store the greeter made a huge deal about the card and told us to leave. So I tried to explain what we were told and she only continued to get madder and eventually we just said screw it and left. I am not sure what is happening to customer service in our country but it is truly starting to fade away and is very sad. If you do not like your job then please ask your employer to put you into a different department where you do not have to interact with people.
Was here late...after the supper rush. No free food, but to be expected. Easy to find parking spot. Gas pumps weren't busy. Most of this is probably due to the fast that we were here 1/2 hour before closing....but it was actually nice. Staff was great.
Sometimes I worry about my customer service skills. But then I meet someone with such appallingly low standards of what passes for customer service that I have no fears. I'm not entirely sure how the gentleman who fronts the tire service centre made it to that position, but Costco can be assured that I will not be interacting with that particular service anymore. Despite arriving there at the correct opening time, I was unable (for two days in a row) to get any service. Apparently opening early was the only way the team could see fit to solve the overwhelming need for tires to be put on. And I understand. I really do. No one saw this snow coming, and that's a tough situation for anyone to be in. Something that could be easily solved by pre-determined appointment times, but perhaps that's above my head. What was entirely uncalled for was the condescending, and frankly, rude, treatment by the counter clerk. I asked a simple question after overhearing that other people had appointments, and learned that I needed to have special ordered tires in order to get one. Sure, whatever. However when I then tried to find out if those appointments filled the time slots available, I was continuously informed that only walk-in service was available. Was that the answer to a seemingly simple question? No. And this particular person was so wrapped up in his own power-trip of deciding whether or not I could get tires put on my car that he was apparently incapable of understanding or even acknowledging what I was asking. And I don't have the time or the inclination to try and explain myself to someone who is so entirely incompetent when I would much rather see my money go into the pockets of someone who deserves it.
Can find so many needed items from food to clothing to electronics and all at reasonable prices. I love the precooked bacon they have and would go there just for that. St. Albert location also sells propane at super affordable prices. Well worth the cost of membership.
My wife and I got treated like sh**. All because the ladies at the cashier couldn't simply explain that they don't do exchanges at the till please go to customer service. They also said "give me your card" with quite the exuberant amount of venom. Simply direct us to customer service, don't treat us like dirt. Dealing with 2 kids in a check out line is tough; add in 4 self professed queens of costco and you've got yourself a pickle. When we are trying to say something don't say " stop stop just stop". I wish I got names, because the lady who ACTUALLY helped us to customer service; she is a saint! She didn't just drop us off there she made sure we got through and returned what we needed. That said, this location is great for products carried and is ALWAYS very clean; stock is up kept minus the popular sale items; naturally. Every other visit has been good in out no sweat.
Change my tires in 1h like they said...excellent service!
Very busy, long lines at the check outs, no rye bread, but gas bar attendant rocked!!!
My main shopping store, love, love, love Costco! Best of everything they sell, great quality, prices and their Kirkland brand the highest quality. I could write a book on how much I love Costco and everything it stands for. 5 stars rating out of 5!!!!!!!
I just went to buy 30 count chicken wings at the food court a 30 pack chicken wings are half the sizeed wings they used to be near month or two ago and I gave it back to the lady at the food court she threw in the garbage rudely and then basically told me abruptly go get your refund yourself I don’t think rude employees should be working at Costco when they’re grumpy they should be disciplined Forgot to mention The dark blue shirt heavy set lady was salivating disposing the well covered wings into the garbage to retrieve for later consumption it seemed since there now cleared for a refund . The food court supervisor looking over her as well . Also when I inquired for a fresh batch initially, she said ‘ you will get the same ones if you want fresh ones ‘ I Took up with the front end sup supervisor on duty and she didn’t blink and eye and refunded me . It was close to 2 pm and those wings needed to be disposed .the crafty women seemed to have picked me as victim and surprised that I didn’t comply . Front end sup made sure she would take it up with her and asked me to get a fresh batch and I said the women threatened to give me the same ones also .she was surprised that the food supervisor was overlooking the heavy set blue t-shirt lady and approved this customer service . I wish I had there names but front end knows now !!!
Most incompetent costco I've been to. Was told by multiple staff to that I could by propane at check out. Then after waiting in line for over 45 min they tell me that it's somewhere in the store and I have to go find it. Absolute worst customer service for a PAID to shop membership. Youre better off driving out of your way to go to a more trained costco
If you don't love Costco there is something seriously wrong with you! The most wonderful place in the world.
Great Costco out of my way but I prefer this Costco seems to always have what I need and the meat department always seems to always be stocked great
I went to Costco tire center because of the cheap price. I was getting them to put tires onto my new summer rims. I left the rims & tires with them when I picked up the wheels they now had damage scratches and a small chip in the paint on the rims. They clearly don't take care of the customers parts and lack pride in their work.
Friendly staff, lots of selection and the gas bar is 10¢ per liter cheaper then normal gas stations.
May 2021 Very busy with the new restrictions. I was there at 8am and there was a line up passed the liquor store already. Line up inside was the same. Couldn't say they were ready for the crazy not enough cashier's.
The staff here is great and always helpful. The selection and products available are extensive. And you usually cant beat the prices; especially the gas which is always 5-10 cents cheaper. The savings on fuel alone makes a membership worth the price.
Well its Costco, can always find a good deal. staff in St Albert seem to hate their jobs from cashiers fighting with each other to not being able to find what you're looking for because they moved it.
What u would expect from a costco. If your coming from the north, it's a handy stop to stock up in st.albert.
Avoid the tire/vehicle department.... We were looking to get second set of rims for our winter tires, so we ordered rims online from costco. We also called and they told us they would be able to put our rimless tires on for us for an additional price. The rims arrived and we booked an appointment to get the rimless winter tires put on the new costco rims and then put on the vehicle. Both me and my wife called at different times and they told us different prices....? They asked if the tires were from costco, we said no but the rims are, and regardless of the price they said that they can do this for us. We booked an appointment for 3 weeks after that call. My wife took a day off work, loaded the car with the 4 tires and 4 rims and went to costco for the appointment and they told her that they can not do it..... My wife is a nervous driver in the winter and there is expected snow this week. Hopefully we can book somewhere to do this before the snow hits... After spending $300 on rims from them, being told they would do this for us, and having an appointment to do the job they cant spend 20 mins to put tires on rims.... Very unreasonable and unprofessional. Now we have the risk of unsafe driving on icy/snowing roads without proper tires.
Costco is consistent in their operation. Usually well stocked with relevant products. The self checkout was a nice addition.
Always stocked. Great service and most times no lineups to pay. They introduced a 15 items or less lane which reduces the line up for paying.
Normally St. Albert costco is great. However, today I went in with my mom, she had the cart with her stuff in it, I had my 1 item in my hands, to make the receipt check on the way out slightly easier and quick. There was a lady and a man at the door, and we were both going to one of the people, the lady asked if we were there together. My mom told her that we were, that's when we were told that we'd have to both go to the same person. But why? We asked her this, thinking she was joking, and she literally grabbed my mom's cart and pushed it away towards the man's line. We told them that we had separate bills, and that I had my 1 item in my hands, so that we could go to separate lines. Also we were the only ones in the lineup at the time. NOT IMPRESSED!!! The woman was rude, and had no right to treat us this way. The man seemed to understand by the end, could have apologized for his part, though the woman is the one who should have apologized, she's the one who treated us very poorly!!!!
Worst customer service at the membership counter. Waited in 2 lines in an attempt to renew, gave my ID, was told I couldn't renew because the ID and account address didn't match. Manager got called over, I rattled off the entire address on my account, manager said it was fine as my picture and all other details matched and it was "clearly me". Informed them I needed to update the account address but with a dead phone I was unable to pull up a bill to show proof. Manager said not to worry about it and walked away, only for me to be told by the customer service employee 5 seconds later that she couldn't change it without proof. What a waste of 30 minutes.
St Albert costco WORST FOR updating computer....SAY THEY HAVE ITEM YET YOU GO THERE NOT AVAILABLE ...tired of making wild goose chase trips ..do you actually post negative reviews
Busy at times, cashing out can take a little while but great selection and worth buying a membership just to save on gas
So I was picking up my Rx's at Costco and they had told me they would be ready hopefully by 4:00. I got there at 4:30 & they still weren't ready. I have no problem waiting. To some of the other people in line, show some patience. They are doing the best they can & doing it and being kind and compassionate. They have triple the workers and are getting Rx's faxed in from all over the place. They are getting slammed. I get you might be in a hurry but taking your frustrations out on them doesn't make it any better. Well done Costco pharmacy workers!
Way too many people. Super busy but fast checkout through pharmacy. Gas prices lowest in town. Lineups not too bad.
It's Costco! Lots of stuff, no help but it's not a full service box store. Good cleaning and C-19 protocol. Customer at this location since '91.
Very crowded on a Monday around noon. 4 out of 12 tills open. Waited 10 + min in line to check out. Way too crowded for a covid-19 third wave so I got out quickly. Good Costco prices and selection though.
Fond out you don't need a card for the liquor store so that was awesome. Kirkland vodka is like Grey goose.
pretty busy but always has great selection and everything you could need
Found a great smoker/BBQ. But not all Costco's have the same items. Some items are on a road show. Need to check in advance if your item is at the location you want.
Generally awesome. Occasionally slow for lines. Sample people vary in pleasantness. One person once said to me "if you have a job, you can buy some of these". Overall good experiences.
Okay but other Costco have friendlier staff. Hearing dept very poor customer service.
Had a memorable customer experience thanks to Kaleb and tire centre.
This location is getting worse with every visit I make for a return. They are consistently under staffed with only 1 cashier and they don't care! It's getting ridiculous and truly makes me not want to shop here anymore.
I am so happy the way that Costco is handily the covid virus. Its one of the stores I feel safest in.
All beef or polish 1/4lb hot dogs and a drink (w/ free refill!) for only $1.50!! Can't beat that! Their poutine for $4.69 is also huge and yummy but very filling! Oh and their sundaes are Amazing! I've tried caramel and chocolate. Both are incredible and for $2.29, you definitely get more than your money's worth. Costco has very generous portions...A great way to feed the kids on the cheap!
Excellent checkout experience with Dihanna(?) Fast, efficient, great advice and a big smiling face!!!!
Its a costco. If you haven't been I'd suggest going once to find out. Samples were on point today, and despite huge lineupes, the checkouts moved quickly. Mmmmm good.
With the exception of the T V department and a couple of others,it's nearly impossible to get any assistance from the floor. I dearly wish someone could be assigned for such I usually do like walking around to see "what's new". Staff at the door are pretty friendly. All in all, most of us go back.
Lol. What can I say. I love Costco. And this is a great one.
Love the store, but very disappointed in the customer service when trying to get a hold of someone via phone. The phone rings and rings, and then just hangs up on you (I tried three times - same result each time). Not what I would expect from an organization of this size.
Love the senior hour, makes shopping less stressful for those of us over 60. Plenty of stock available. Staff friendly.
We were told this location was bigger and had more things when we were in our Edmonton north east Cosco. We found that was not the case. It may be bigger, but it actually had way less stuff- at least in the seasonal area. It was bright and clean though. We didn't stay and browse every aisle once we found they had so many less things than our location.
Good for large purchases or large families. Good for Christmas shopping if you catch it early. Parking obviously you have to drive around a bit. Have to watch the prices on some items may be able to get them cheaper by buying single at a regular store.
I love Costco. What I don't like is this "attitude" most of the staff carry around with them. Some management is worse than new staff. Just be open and friendly please, it doesn't make you less cool not to be...
Ho doesn't like costco
Very large and clean. Always have the shelves stocked. For the number of people that use this Costco you can get in and out quickly.
The tire department here is a complete joke. It took me four different phone calls to finally make an appointment. Each time I was either hung up on or told they were too busy to help me and I needed to go online. Yet nobody would give me any information on how I was supposed to make an appointment online. Then the day that I actually got there for my appointment. Both of the techs that I talked to were extremely rude and dismissive... sorry I had a question for you. The lady at the front desk was nice enough however she didn’t ever tell me when our interaction was over so I stood there staring at her for a solid 10 minutes before I finally asked “is there something else you need from me or can I go?” Finally, when I picked up my vehicle, the lady at the front just handed me my keys and my invoice without ever exiting her conversation or even looking my way. At no point did she ever mention that I need to come back and get my tires retorqued, good thing this isn’t my first rodeo and I knew that I needed to go back and do that. And after all that, the price that I paid was within a few dollars of three other shops that I had gotten quotes from. Based on this experience, I definitely won’t ever go back to Costco for anything vehicle related. It was completely amateur hour over there.
Costco St. Albert has ruined their self checkout. Just replace the self checkout with regular tills. I go to self checkout to avoid dealing with a cashier. Now I have to have a cashier rummage through my cart and scan my groceries for me because Costco feels I’m not capable. But actually now it’s become a game to see what they miss scanning and I get for free. Oh well.
love costco. it was fast and they got me through the till very fast
3:30 in the afternoon is a good time of the day to go to Costco.
I love costco so decided to try the tire center...not having the best experience. Ordered tires on the Wednesday 13th of June was told they would be in within 5-7 days go in 7 days later no tires it's business days not days...ok fine I'm going out of town on Monday need these tires on before I go lady assures me they will be in on Friday. Friday- still no call so I call them, no tires in no tires coming in on the weekend so tires won't be in til "maybe Monday, possibly Tuesday we don't control the trucks" so thanks for assuring me my tires will be in before i leave town when they won't be next time I will pay the extra to have my tires when I need them!
Love this location. Clean. Friendly staff and lots of stock.
Was told they would not let anyone in without a mask. Disabled, special needs children are not welcome. They are stigmatizing the disabled and don't understand common sense and human rights. Take your business elsewhere.
I love this store, has a little bit of everything, great for bulk purchases, polite staff.
-Very good unit prices on everything if you can handle the bulk. Worry free shopping with an excellent return policy. Always clean. Free food samples! Quick line ups. -Gas is unbeatable in quality and price! Lines usually move quick too. -Tire center has knowledgeable staff with good warranty and competitive prices. -Photo center is awesome can't believe the low prices. Quick photo printing while you shop. Passport photo quick easy and cost effective. -Pharmacy is pretty typical. Most staff is pretty friendly. Only had one bad experience with going here. -Food court area is awful. Lines are always long and slow. They are always out of certain items and staff in this area are unusualy grumpy and rude.
Nice staff. Can't seem to find anyone when I need a hand with something though. Produce section is overpriced I find. I still shop here for a lot of other things the clean store and nice cashiers make the shopping experience.
Recently had my winter tires put on here. They put them on, and failed to even verify they were properly aired up. My passenger rear was the worst, at 10 psi (manufacturer recommended is 39 psi). If I did not visibily inspect them after, I very well could have destroyed a nearly brand new tire after just spending close to $1000 on them. Simple laziness by the tire "technicians".
Busy as always. I have to give a special thanks to the staff that helped out on the self check line, everytime we have used it they have been pleasant and very helpful
Always packed. Lines for the register pours into the isles and jams them up. Impossible to keep 2m apart. Clean and well stocked otherwise.
Great selection and lots of open check out lines on Saturday!
Great Costco experience! Almost everything you need in bulk.
Went to fill up propane at Costco in St Albert on Sunday May 16th and there was a line up, however the 2 guys working at the propane station were very fast and hardworking. We didn't even feel the wait at the line up...Cheers to both costco employees..!
Best gas prices in town Always! I always find some cool stuff when I shop there. Their greek salad is a true greek salad...no lettuce. Wish more stores would take note lol. I love that they have added some self-checkouts as I usually only have a couple of items when I go.
Good variety, service and clean environment.
Looking for Pepsi, none on floor, but up on the high shelf, still wrapped. Other wise, I enjoy going to cosco in st. Albert.
Always enjoy my experience there. Very clean. Friendly staff, helpful when I needed them. Pharmacy is great. Very knowledgeable. They have masks for free. There is a liquor store. And, yes they do have a gas bar.
Store is always clean, staff is helpful. You can't really complain about any Costco's. COVID-19 restrictions and protocol were followed. "Self" checkout was quick.
Tonight Costco Rocked. I found everything I was looking for, easily. The lineup were quick and all the people I met there shopping were very polite and friendly. Thank you all for the grate experience and merry Christmas or happy whatever you beleave in to you all.
Misinformation and no support provided regarding concern. Huge disappointment from Costco ????
Most everyone in the store had a mask on. They had masks for sale at the entrance. Very clean store. Had everything in stock, in & out in 30 minutes and 2 minutes in line. Friendly and safe shopping here. All carts by the doors were sanitized. Love this location!
It was great! You still have to watch your prices!!
Costco sets a high bar for customer satisfaction and service. When seeking product information or direction the employees I spoke with were knowledgeable and friendly. Such a dramatic difference from other retailers. Kudos.
Great place to shop. Bonus today was they put some tables out and was able to sit and have some if their amazing fries and gravy.
I stopped in this afternoon with my mother-in-law. This location is always so clean, organized and the team members are always polite and helpful. I’m writing this review not only because of these things but I was blown away by the amazing customer service that a gentleman named Mark gave us while packing up our groceries. He was personable, made us both laugh, kind and so helpful. You can tell he was enjoying his day! It’s so rare that a team member takes that much time to make sure we are taken care of and that we leave smiling! We are just so impressed! Thank you Mark!
Displays are setup nice, often times too many lanes are closed resulting in long lines
Great price for all groceries in bulk. A big thanks to cashier Mark and the lady what is working with him today my daughter was freaking out and he was very patient and talked to her and everything. :)
Bought winter tires from here. In the spring I ordered all seasons, didn't tell them my tire size, just said "I'll get the same size as last time". Tires come in a week later, they only book the install 2 weeks from now. Whatever, they're busy. They call me the day before and tell me there is no one to put my tires on that day, so they push my appointment back another week. I come in, they tell me 60-90 minutes and they will call me when it's done. 90 minutes later I come back and they tell me they ordered the wrong size. Now I'm getting mad because I had to pay a babysitter and they didn't call me. But whatever. Order the new tires, they tell me it will be a week. It's been 2 weeks, no call. I have called them literally 20 times throughout the day and they don't answer. It's been 6 weeks since I ordered my tires. My new winter ones are getting worn down on the summer roads. They totally disrespected my time, and the next time I go there I'm just going to get my money back.
Staff do a great job of keeping things clean and safe. Went at 7:30 pm Friday, still had to stand in line for about 10 minutes. Don't know if there is a day or time when there isn't a line. The new "normal" I guess.
Everything you need under one roof
Why does the St. Albert Costco always run out of things??? Happened before Covid and worse now. Went for Keenex on sale, gone.
Always appreciate Costco as a place that carries good quality products for reasonable prices as well as great return policies. Gas is a better price there too!
It's a Costco. Lineups were reasonable, products inside were as expected.
Wow, what a Big Store here. Lots of Hidden Goodies at Great Prices to Choose from. Very happy In and Out Quickly, Only Trouble, Finding Handicap Parking, Parking Lot is a little hard to Navigate.
We love costco but not the crowds, best time to go is early when it opens and get out as checkouts arent too bad. Wheelchair accessible, needs more handicapped stalls and the crossing in front of the main doors get congested. Overall rhis Costco is a great place to get bulk items and great employees!
4pm on a Friday, all tils open! Well staffed. This is always nice to see. Even the liquor store had two lines going. Top notch!!! Keep it up!!!
This is my favourite Costco. It’s easy to find parking and not stressful at all. It’s clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, I can usually find what I’m looking for easily unlike some other Costco locations in the city.
I found some items like cottage cheese pressed that are not avaiable at other Costco locations.Good price 10$/kg. Really liked it.Good service at cash register. Fast. Also no problem to park the car.
Terriblelost 2 shirts walking out because they had no boxes, they rang them in amd were not put inmy cart
I REALLY like Costco, it's easily my favorite grocery store and for good reason. Prices are excellent, selection is varied and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. The St. Albert location is my favorite and not just for the convenience it provides to me but the entire shopping experience is very satisfying. Thank you to all the staff for continuing to provide amazing customer service even amidst the current pandemic, you guys and gals are doing an amazing job!
Went at 5:30 to shop and there were hardly any crowd. No wait in line either. Kudos to St. Albert Costco.
I was completely appalled with the service at the tire centre. One, you cannot make an appointment if you already own tires and that was the least disappointing moment of the whole trip. The most infuriating feature of the tire centre was the condescending, disrespectful customer service desk person (if you could even call what he did "service") talking down to me and interrupting when I was asking a question. I'm completely astonished that Costco even allows this guy to talk to customers. Watching him talk to other tire techs and bitching about the customers while I was waiting for service has decided I will definitely not be back, and would rather pay extra to have my tires installed than deal with that heinous service.
I know that the world has a pandemic. But with all the social distancing, why is the whole store an absolute free for all but when it comes to checkout the lines are huge and you close half the tills so people don't over crowd. But yet we are lined up to the meet isle with 2 lines and people gong down the xenter
One of the better Costco’s I’ve been to in the Edmonton area. This is the one we visit weekly. It’s always organized, clean and stocked. However, it’s very busy during the day (weekdays and weekends). If we want to skip the long line ups and crowds then we go 1.5 to 1 hour before closing because it’s a lot less busy. This goes for the Costco Gas located outside as well. Going this close to closing also means you likely won’t find samples out either, so if that’s your favourite part of Costco keep that in mind.
Costco has thankfully limited the obvious high demand necessities created by pandemic but not some other items that people continue to hoard and Re-sell. On last visit a checkout employee told me that a couple of customers had purchased upright freezers -FOUR at a time! Putting a limit on these type items and limiting this behaviour is a no brainer. Who is NOT doing their job at Costco here by setting such limits??? Also I just learned that the Pandemic is officially over today ...at Costco (at least). Crowded store exit, forced confined walkways by carts unattended. Disappointing.
Have always had a positive shopping experience here. My prescriptions are done promptly, and if there is any delay they phone. Always clean and stocked, they have liquor, gas, propane, tires, etc. Tire department has been helpful and wait times aren't too long, although in busy seasons it can be typical to wait so be prepared. (Same as anywhere). The optical had the best price on contact lenses I found. And can't beat the return policy, love shopping at Costco :)
Very disappointed with my vist to costco today! Spent over $300 dollars on groceries to be given rude attitude. I asked the cashier to scan a coupon because I'm an executive member. I get an eye roll and "you're supposed to bring them in yourself." Never been told that before, infact I normally get informed there is a coupon for something and the cashier scans it right at the till. After the eye rolls, the bag boy wants to put a birthday cake on the bottom the of baggy. ????♀️ I ask the cake be on top and I get even more attitude. What service is this?
Great shop, not my usual Costco and I was pleasantly surprised that they have self checkout. Arrangement is familiar with a few changes. Great deals as always. Just wish there was more in the clothing section but I can't complain.
Thet have a liquor store, a gas bar, propane and everything any other costco has. But! If you go when it first opens or an hour before closing.....the place is a ghost town with only a few ppl in line with groceries. Much better then any Edmonton location.
Costco offers free flu shots just as you exit the building there was no lineup to have one Great place to have an eye exam.
I must send a shout out to Alex and Katherine in the photo department at the St Albert Costco. They went above and beyond to ensure all my families visa photos were perfect, conformed to size restrictions and avoided having to bring the children in again for retakes! They were so kind despite being busy. This in addition to Zear (“see-air”? sorry I don’t know how to spell your name) from the optometrist department also being so kind to me a while ago. I still smile when I see him. There are many here that are good people. I am glad to continue shopping here and will go out of my way to support their store. I hope their managers see this post and reaffirm the value of these employees!
Very well stocked. Found everything we needed. Checkout was quick and efficient. Very clean and easy to shop. Overall good experience. The people in the parking lot are a totally different bunch.
As always. Great pricing, but you can never find all the items that you need, so you end up shopping at 2 stores. Cost benefit questionable.
Good deals. I always find this store to be clean. The staff are helpful and friendly too.
Doing all the right cleaning procedures but so are everybody else. The usual Costco situation. Had a couple of things I wanted but didn't have the one item I really needed. Thank goodness I hit the store when it wasn't extremely busy, which seems to be the normal case. In fairness to this particular store, it appears their location isn't as insanely busy as most of stores in Edmonton. As a plus, and the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2, the staff were friendly and helpful.
We used Costco because we live in a small remote community and need to buy items in larger quantities, especially when road access is open. There are other options but when you add in the discounted gas prices, you really can save a lot of money. Stores are also pretty clean, 1000s of customers a day can make for dirty floors and products out of place.
The store is always clean. They follow the covid safety measures very good. I enjoy shopping at Costco.
This Costco is the one I go to the most often because it rarely has long lines and the sales people get you through quickly. It is clean and well organized and has friendly staff.
Great for bulk stuff less on herbs nice restrooms and the gas price is the best rate that a 9 just no windshield wash
My husband loves loves Costco. I do too. Advice if you see something you love, buy it then and there. Costco is the type of store that sometimes once something is gone it's gone for good. Also, I've noticed that difference Costco's have a little different things for sale. Not tons of items but some difference. The one on the Northside (137th and 50 st.) is my least favorite. I believe It's the smallest in the city so it's usually overcrowded. They need to built another one in the Northside.
One of the most relaxing Costcos I have ever stepped foot in! I didn't wait in line at ALL and the cashier was extremely friendly and her helper gladly boxed up all my items. Really nice selection here as well with some AWESOME sales! Got all the essentials needed.
Everything you expect at Costco’s with even more selection. I find this location has a few extras you don’t find elsewhere. The only thing that would make it better is the self checkout like the Yellowhead location, but hopefully that will come
By far the worst Costco I have ever been to. Only 3 checkouts open at peak hours. Only one person working returns, with a line out the door. Not what I would expect from Costco.
Have to be a member, but the $60 is well worth it on gas alone. Lots of great deals in the store too. Friendly helpful staff. The lines are long at checkout but don't worry the staff work quickly so it makes up for it.
Great Costco, very crowded on weekends but not too crowded on weekdays, well managed. Would love to see them add a couple self checkout or express lines for those of us who sometimes just want to pick up a few items.
Usually a wonderful Costco, not today. No buggies (I get it no one wants to get them as it is cold), disrespectful staff at the entrance. I needed returns. I didn't go in to the warehouse, I went to returns stood in the wrong spot and again was spoken to very rudely. I left I'll go to another Costco to do my return. We all understand lineups, staff need to be patient, understanding and kind. Again, where is politeness, respect and customer service? If it is to busy and hectic for you to treat customers respectfully maybe you need a job change. No one is answering the phone so I'll try on Monday to contact the store manager.
Love this Costco as it's not as busy as others. Always decent to great prices, but you always end up buying more than you came for. Parking is decent even on weekends. Would be a five, but as most know sometimes they have stuff you love, and then they just stop selling them. It's always a bummer when it happens.
I went for propane besy prices in town abd you are charged only fir the amount you need. I was able to quickly pay at the service / tire check out.
