With respect to the previous two positive reports of a year ago and based on my previous experience over 30 years in Quesnel, I can only report a rapid decline in quality of customer service in late 2018. I just today went for the third time to get a prescription filled. No success. Nothing new or unusual about the medication , and I've never had a problem over the past two years getting it filled promptly. I always give at least 24 hours lead time as I know storage space and stocks may be limited. The doctor has specified dispensing in lots of 90. On December 27th I was given seven pills and told to come back on the 31st (today) to get the rest. I went back but was unable to get the rest of the supply. Didn't come in, change of brand, the reason wasn't made clear, or the employees couldn't get their story straight. I've been directed to go back for a third time on January 2, 2019. I'm most distressed by the immature, evasive and defensive attitude of a number of employees at this pharmacy. In fairness, three in particular seem very well-informed, professional and courteous. To avoid a fruitless fourth visit on January 2, I requested a voucher for the medication I am owed. The request was dismissed with the remark "We'll make a note in the computer," something
I've heard a number of times before. When I pointed this out to the employee, his response was, "It's been a rough couple of months. " Is this the customer's problem? Whining and excuses are something I expect to hear from young children, not from health care professionals.
