I generally get good service here and the managers are helpful in bringing in products not normally stocked at the Quesnel store - just ask. PC products often are better than brand name, especially in snack foods and prepared condiments

For the stuff I definitely will give 5 stars. The produce section is only 2 stars because for a relatively high price the quality is questionable. The open chest freezers are stocked too high so some food is frozen solid and some are not so much. This can be really critical in Summer. Miss the 50% stickers... 30% is not enough. Walmart and Safeway are having still the 50% offers... As a summary: The store looks outdated and on the edge of closing. Always a sad feeling to shop there. If it wasn't for the PC Optimum points I would not shop there anymore!

Clean and spacious store. Well lit and organized. I don't like the way they use deceptive shelf pricing. The shelf pricing tags show special pricing in large numbers but the info stating you must buy more than one to get that price is so small yoy don't notice it.

Liked shopping here before it was bought out by Loblaws. Since then it seems like all their prices have sky rocketed especially on their meat and where are the turkey wings??? I used to be able to buy them everytime I was in the store.. now they only bring them in occasionally??? That really sucks for those of us that live out of town.

Extremely clean and well-stocked. Carries items that aren't found in other stores. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Tons of discounted items clearly marked with bright stickers make it easier for low income folks to get groceries they otherwise couldn't afford.

It's pricy, they charge for bags and their products aren't consistent. If I find something I like I'll probably never see it again. It's also busy as hell for a small town. The people are all really nice. I think they have the best customer service of all the grocery stores in town.

I Usually don't like shopping here for anything unless its dried or canned. it is 1/7/2019 the day before I grabbed a coconut because I wanted to enjoy something sweet that would not distract from my diet. I used a bottle opener to get into the 3 holes on the coconut and poured and I was met with a almost murky yellow moldy coconut milk my best guess is that they don't even know when they put them up and they cant tell them apart so yeah thanks again. Since I usually can't get a refund from this place I usually wrap it together with Walmart with places I never shop from unless family drives up there ((then again my family has decided never to shop from Walmart.))

Everything you could need in a grocery store and more. The store carries all the basics and has a wide selection of seasonal foods and merchandise. Staff is always happy to help find items you can't locate, and till times are usually very reasonable. For those that are impaired at all, the staff is always top notch at offering help with bags to vehicles. The store is always clean and well stocked. Occasional sales and case lots are a great bargain here for families or those who like to shop in bulk. Overall a great shopping experience!

Although I prefer to shop at Extra Foods, the fact that they are the only store in town that requires a coin to use a cart has prevented me from shopping at the store a few times. After parking and realizing that I do not have the required coin, I have gotten back in my car to drive to another store to avoid the hassle of standing in line to get a coin.
