I was told by staff at the entrance that the mask is important and was allowed inside. Later inside another staff approached me and said that “since you don’t have mask, I would ask you to leave”. I shopped in this Walmart for the past 2 years and never faced this kind of nonsense. I would have left the Walmart at the entrance if they told me to leave. After allowing inside and then asking me to leave is unprofessional and insulting.

Terrible! Very inept. Please if your prescriptions are important, daily meds, do not go here. Confuse medication, do not seek clarification on whether generic or not, flat out do not fill half a prescription - without telling you! The taller, slim pharmacist is EXCELLENT, however, the other pharmacist, who is more stoutly with an accent, is a nightmare and lacks decorum. The dark-haired young lady is nice but does not do her job with focus or using her intelligence. The other girl is not very pleasant, but will ask the right questions (usually) and is more effective. I trust her more than the pharmacist. The pharmacist's handling of everything from prescriptions to assessing payments/amounts makes me uncomfortable. You can have effectiveness AND pleasant deportment at other pharmicies. Hiring quality staff at Walmart pharmacy seems to not be a priority. Shopper's drug mart at the Qwanlin mall is a thousand times better.

We switched from here over a year ago. They never had stock in to refill prescriptions on time. Their staff turnover speaks volumes. One pharmacist, that thankfully is no longer there, made comments that were beyond inappropriate about being a woman and "send my husband next time because men understand better". I've run in a few times for vitamins and every time there is customers having issues at the counter. Sad to see nothing has changed.

WARNING BED BUG FOUND IN CURTAIN So I bought these curtains and was shocked to find that I had picked up a travel buddie it was a gross disgusting bed bug. Be careful and be sure to wash everything you buy so you might get a bigger problem. I phoned them to let them know but they said there was nothing they could do at the moment.

I pop in here quite often to get dry goods & household supplies. I bought a couple of steaks yesterday for a treat. They were by far & without a doubt the worst cuts of meat I’ve ever bought. 80% inedible & I’m not a fussy eater. They were impossible to chew. Toughest meat I’ve ever had. The kids were disappointed as was I. To the wag suggesting that I caused meat to be ‘mechanically tenderized’ because I bought shoe leather. Sirloin is certainly not stewing meat. Blaming a customer complaint about poor product is ridiculous. You had no idea what cut of meat I bought or my knowledge of meat & how to prepare it. You plucked that from your mind. What feeble little there is to pluck from.

Good pharmacy but they say things are sold out when they are not. Sometimes people do need Tylenol 1s and stuff behind the counter because it does work better we aren't all drug seekers. Poor customer service but 90 percent of the staff has never done that to me. When I can clearly see the item in the back and the bottles when she opened the drawer and they proceed to tell you it's sold out isn't really proper if you ask me. I kindly said okay have a goodnight and I went to shoppers drug Mart had no problem. But this is still a good pharmacy just don't go in if you're a young man and need something behind the counter like Tylenol or cough syrup or robax they keep behind as I just recently had surgery. Save a trip go to shoppers or elsewhere.

Awful customer service. Went to pay for my items with my Mastercard, got declined/incorrect PIN 3 times, yet the card has no issues and more than enough funds, in fact I've been using it before and after this elsewhere. Received a notification from PC saying the transaction DID go through. The "manager" comes over and brushes off the notification from PC, keeps telling me it didn't go through and how the system works, saying "if it had gone through, it would've printed a receipt." I was forced to use my RBC debit since nothing went through on Walmart's end, also took a couple times for my debit to work. I told the cashier that there is obviously a problem with their system as it's 2 totally different cards from different institutions and I've NEVER had issues before... She had a stupid smirk on her face. She tells me, "we never blame our system, it's been working all day" then starts blaming my RBC account, even though it was PC it did not work with either whatsoever. They did not care or want to look into the issue. I would've walked out if I didn't need the stuff and it wasn't a long weekend. I looked into this and seen others have had the same issue and it's Walmart's system. Amazon and Canadian Tire it is..... They were far from professional here. Let's not even get started on their "self check out only" after certain times, this does NOT work well when you have tons of stuff. They're one of the most lazy Walmarts I've seen.

I called Walmart Pharmacy in Penticton BC on Saturday at 5 to 6, or I should say 18:55 and asked for a product, the girl I was talking to said, she couldn't check because they were closing at 6, I said you got to be kidding me it will only take a minute to check, then she hung up. I called back and spoke to a Manger and complained. What a sorry excuse for a Pharmacy.

I have noticed lately that all the OTC stock has been filled amazingly and if they don’t have what I need they will gladly let me know places that might have it or look it up if they can order it in. But I feel like they need to have someone always working the till because it’s always a huge line up. The pharmacy in general is busy so yes the wait time is a bit longer but the workers are nice. Do I believe they need to work on their wait times yes I do. I’ve been to countless Walmart’s and let me tell you this is one of the cleanest I’ve seen overall. I love the cashiers at the front and what I dislike is sometimes I can barely find anyone in the home or grocery section. But other than that I like the whole store.

I am very disappointed in this Walmart. Due to the concerns about Covid-19, they have set up one way isles, that have a very terrible flow. They also have all of their check out lanes open side by side. There is absolutely no way to social distance in these lanes. I addressed this with the manager and she informed me that she "Just wanted to get the people through faster." Very disappointed. I hope other Walmarts do not act this way.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. It took two visits to get my medication. Altogether I waited an hour and a half to get two simple medications. They do not know how to file insurance claims which is a big part of working as pharmacist technician. The pharmacist wasn't even wearing a mask. Poor, poor service. Useless. Was with them less than a year before. They dont want to do there job they leave it all in customers hands. Wife is stuck out of town without meds and cant get Walmart to send her prescription to the walmart in her area so she can have her meds. They told me to go get the prescription from my dr and send out on my own. I'm sorry she will be back in town before I could even get appointment to get refills. Walmart has always faced are refills off but since there location isnt making the money off this 1 refill they dont want to help. Today was my last day as a Walmart pharmacy customer. This isnt the first issue but I dont want to dive anymore into it otherwise it be all day. Looking for new pharmacy now

the ladies at the self check out are rude and unhelpful, i have been using the self check out since it was installed and have never been told there is a item limit until today when i was already half way through scanning all the items in my cart, with no other people waiting to use the self checkout. When i repeatedly told them i didn't need help one woman kept bothering me so finally i just gave in for the last 10 items i had. I informed the ladies that i have never had an issue with the self checkout before until today and that they were making things more difficult. Their responses was no we are helping. From the entire time i was putting my coat back on to when i was leaving the ladies were talking about me behind my back pointing and and whispering to other employees. All around a very bad experience.

WOW! Speaking of rude........some of your clients are certainly that, judging by the comments made previously. I've also been a client for at least 10 years since moving to Welland, and have always been treated in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. I was in recently, and the young male pharmacist that assisted me, was very helpful and attentive. I have absolutely no complaints. Perhaps the people who are not happy with the way they think they are treated, should be aware of how they themselves behave towards the staff! No one is perfect, and the stress caused by the present conditions ie Covid 19, seems to bring the nasties come to surface. I didn't give a five score because it's a rarity that anything is 100%, but as far as I'm concerned the service is pretty good!

Awful customer service. The refrigerated products are always going bad before the expiry date. I think the refrigerated goods are not properly refrigerated. I never have that problem when purchased refrigerated goods from other Walmart locations. As for the Pharmacy , I only made 1 prescription purchase at that location the pharmacist seemed like he hates people and his job.

Oxford Walmart Pharmacy is really bad. At least two times when I got there, I could see no pharmacist. I had to wait for 30 minutes until they showed up. The pharmacists there were not friendly and very picky. They often asked me questions I didn't want to answer. Then I witnessed them to input some stuff related to me into the computer. It was obviously not true. I gave my prescription to the pharmacist, and he kept my prescription and didn't give me my medication. He asked me why I need the medication and I told him. Then he told me he would call my family doctor to cancel my prescription. He promised he would call me if my family doctor still agreed to give me the prescription. But he is a liar, he didn't call me at all. I don't like them. They are liars. I hope I can give them zero star.

Went through self-checkout, waited for friend to finish shopping, and I was approached by someone who told me that "because it seems odd that I saw you walking back and forth from your cart, I'd like to see your receipt". I showed her, she walked off satisfied, and I began to wonder why a loss prevention officer (her name is Connie) would ever tell a customer that it is their fault that they're being regarded suspiciously. She could have identified herself (I had to check with another employee to even find out who she is) and explained that she does random checks, but instead decided to tell me that I was responsible for her being suspicious of me (not sure why walking to and from my cart while waiting for a friend is that suspicious since I remained within about a ten foot radius of my cart the whole time anyway). Will definitely not be returning especially with so many other businesses in the neighborhood.

There is no enforcement of the one adult per household rule, even though it is announced regularly while in the store. Stop these people at the entrance. Nobody makes any effort to ensure customers are following the directional arrows in the grocery area, which they aren't. Staff regularly encroach on the two metre distancing rule, particularly around the checkout area, which is inexcusable when there are multiple alternative routes for them to take. The store needs to take this far more seriously.

Because we live an hour away, we phoned 24 hours in advance to confirm our already booked appointment, we mentioned that there was no space on the form on the computer for a third shot, was told just to write it in, then after driving an hour the next day were denied a COVID shot. They need to get their information straight, or make it right when they make the mistake. Nope, Nada. Horrible.

That person who wrote about the meat being tough did a wonderful job screwing up meat for everyone. This location now only offers mechanically tenderized meat. So it all needs to be cooked until well done. The only meat worth buying here now is the boneless blade steak so it can be but up into stewing meat. A much better price than stewing meat anywhere else. Probably also the reason they thought the meat was tough. You don’t try to eat shoe leather and then complain that it’s tough. Just like you don’t take a beautiful tender steak and punch holes in it filling it with bacteria throughout like ground beef.

I came in this past Sunday to pick up a prescription, I had tried one and got switched to another just for reference. There were two prescriptions on file but for some reason I thought she had only gotten me the most recent one because the drugs are similar and thought she would recognize that. She asked if I was insured I said yes but I didn't have my card, she immediately said well it's over a hundred dollars, I said that was ok I would pay and submit the claim, she then asked if I could access them online so I was able to. She did make the best attempt at putting it through but wasn't able to. At this time another woman came to process the payment, I realized she had both prescriptions and just informed her it should be the most recent at which point the other woman who had been trying to submit came up seemingly irritated so I tried to explain the switch even though that confidential information. She left and went to speak to the pharmacist, I could hear her clearly, the pharmacist then shrugged her off to which she replied why?!? She can't even hear me. I just wanted to write this because I would hope that they would be a bit more professional, I was able to pay and make the claim but I literally only needed the most recent prescription which happened to cost considerably less. I was appreciative that she tried but please consider being more professional considering yes unfortunately we/customers can hear you.

I have been going there for almost 7 years & have NEVER experienced such disrespect since the new pharmacy manager (the Indian chap) has taken over. What did they do, replace the good staff with ignorant & rude individuals that should be stocking the shelves after hours rather than dealing with the public? The girl who works the till now - Joanne/Joanna (heavy set girl) - as example today rudely asked why can't they stagger our medications & she feels that we are at the pharmacy "more often than necessary". There were - we've since moved as this rudeness has been ongoing for a month & I doubt we're the only ones who'll move in the future as there's more than enough pharmacies in Welland to find proper professional & courteous service - four family members at this pharmacy including two senior citizens with multiple health issues. As for being there "more often than necessary" I was there to pick up an owing of a medication that needs to be ordered as Walmart never keeps enough on hand. If Joanne/Joanna had actually used her head, kept her mouth shut & waited to see why we were there instead of spewing the first ignorant & rude thing that came to mind we'd still be at this pharmacy.

Terrible service. My prescription was faxed at 6:17 asked to be filled at 6:27 then told me it would be 45 minutes for the script to be filled. When I arrived an hour later they proceeded to tell me that there was an issue and would need to speak to the doctor even tho the prescription was sent on August 1st and to be filled on August 1st. My doctors office closed at 7pm if I was notified within the 45 minutes it was supposed to take to fill the script and me wasting time and transportation to get across town to have my time wasted I could have called my doctor and had the ordeal dealt with now I must take a day off from work not being able to complete my daily tasks without my prescription. Never going to any wallmart pharmacy ever again. Period.

Came here to get a COVID shot while staying in town - we live elsewhere. The pharmacists were helpful and efficient, and the nurse (or maybe pharmacist?) who actually gave the shot was very good. Both my wife and I commented afterwards that we hardly felt it.
