The lady at the pharmacy spent an hour on the phone calling my insurance company and other parties to ensure my insurance would pay for my medication. Really went above and beyond. Certainly more effort and care than a Shoppers or Rexall would ever give you.

The staff cannot be labeled as staff but as a big family. It's great to walk in this pharmacy and get great service. Yes, some things may be a bit more expensive to purchase at this pharmacy, but you can't get a better place to care for your every needs, whatever the level of importance, they care about your health and they will walk the extra mile to make sure you have the product you need. If you want cheap and careless, go to big box pharmacies. Thank you Pharmacie Brisson for the service that you provide in our community.

A great old fashioned pharmacy. Avec le service en français du propriétaire Mr. Brisson lui-même. This is the opposite to a Shoppers drug mart. You can ask the staff here for help and they know what they're talking about. Don't expect to find a bag of chips, some mascara and your favorite perfume here. This IS a pharmacy and a great one, Bravo!

Arguably the last historic family-run pharmacy in the city. 7 generations and almost 150 years of continuous service in the Byward Market/Lowertown. Has the ambience and personalized service of an European apotek as well as the most seamlessly-organized flu shot clinic during covid: pre-registration for your flu shot when the next batch of vaccine is received; a call to offer your an appointment once they arrive; a separate area that’s cleaned after every use to complete your pre-vaccination questionnaire; a different area and intimate consultation area (also displaying all the historic pictures and licenses of the pharmacy) where your shot is administered after a non-hurried discussion of your medical background; finished off with yet another area (on a beautiful historic bench) where you wait out the mandatory post-shot monitoring. I’ve recommended family and friends to get their shots here, and most of the clients I observed seem to be longtime patrons.

The pharmacist asked appropriate questions regarding the product I was purchasing to ensure it's correct and proper usage. Glad I stopped by here instead of the Shoppers.
