Got Treasure?

Doctor refused to help, and was extremely rude. Don't waste your time going here.

They need to be open longer on Saturday!!!! Weekends are usually when people come so its stupid busy.

My daughter attended the clinic this evening seeking medical attention and was REFUSED simply because her family Doctor is based in Barrie. The clinic was not busy in the least and yet she was turned away from medical attention for this reason only. I will be filing a complaint with the college of physicians and surgeons as a result. No one should be refused medical attention regardless of the geographical location of their family Doctor. Ludicrous and unacceptable.

I attended here sat morning at 10.45 am with ear infection. Clinic was very quiet only 1 person inside waiting, no one out side. When I went to register the receptionist said oh your from out of town you need to go to Bracebridge or OSMH amergency. I was told ohip won't pay for my visit. BS. Shame on this clinic for adding more pressure on the hospitals. OSMH was remarkable !

Entrance to the Clinic had a sign in the window saying "OPEN" but there were no lights on, the door was locked and there were no hours posted. Time to head somewhere else.

Have been a couple times for my children. Reception and the doctor's have always been very patient, caring & informative. This clinic is for those who have a family physician in Orillia.

Don't understand how people are confusing the hours since Google shows exactly what time it opens. For those who are not aware though, it is only open to the patients that have doctors a part of that medical group and it is also no longer at the end of the building, It's in Dr Harmathy and Dr Reinders old suits. for those who believe that they shouldn't be turned away for medical attention, that is the hospital you are thinking of. The doctors are friendly and caring, hence the fact that they took the initiative to open a clinic after hours that they take time away from their families for. If your physician has not opened their own clinic you should really pressure them to do so instead of being nasty about Doctors you don't even know.

I went to this clinic last week with my daughter. The older receptionist was so rude and did not like the fact that I was laughing with my daughter at a show on the tv. I have a very good sense if humour and I don't care if no-one else laughed at what we were laughing at. Anyways after Dragon's den was finished a show called Bloopers started and after about 3 minutes into the show, she changed the channel to a baseball game. I commented outloud: I guess if you're sick you're not allowed to laugh. Give me a break. I proceeded to listen to my playlist music with my headphones of course. I'm.sorry for the long story. Also after waiting two.hours my daughter did not get checked because the doctor did not have the proper kit! My daughter did advise that woman what she was there for. I do not recommend this clinic at all!

Awful, waited about an hour and a half for them to tell me they can't help and there was no excuse to keep anyone waiting this long!

Rebecca

Was quick only thing is your doctor has to be part of the clinic. If you are from out of town or your doctor is not part of it they will not attend you and suggest you go to emergency. I waited about an he but I went early. I will go back a lot quicker than the hospital.

Waiting for over 2.5 hours. Still waiting smh

As someone that struggles with mental health, that was the most disgraceful and triggering conversation I have ever had with any health care professional. That visit was truly one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. Not only did the doctor not listen to anything I said but he repeated the same questions to me over and over and was clearly not educated enough to be seeing anyone with a history of mental health issues. I cannot even think about how damaging that conversation could have been to anyone that was going to see that doctor as a last resort. I left feeling not only upset, angry and irritated but also very let down at the fact he did not wear his face mask above his nose, falling down to his mouth the whole entirety of the visit. So so upsetting.

I am very fortunate because our doctor is part of the after hours clinic. I must give it a 5 star. I have been a few times this year. I always try to arrive early. The receptionists have always been cordial and helpful. I have never had to wait more than 45 min. Compared with the Emergency room at SMH, no time at all. All of the doctors on call have been great. Orillia needs an after hours clinic for anyone. EVERYONE should be petitioning for one and the doctors in the Emergency really could use the help. I can't believe we don't have one. Surely there are a group of doctors and Nurse Practitioners who would like to invest in such a clinic. I t would be a win win situation for. Everyone.

Don't go if your doctor or physician does NOT work in this place. Save some gas ⛽️

Went here to get my tb test read because there is a time limit between test and read. Doctors office closed in the morning and said i could get it read at the clinic. Other offices read in between patients as it is quick. Lady at the desk chose not to be kind to a mother and student in need and told me id have to wait a long time with my children when i said i would have to redo the whole test her response was "ok so you dont want to register". Thanks. Long wait, no compassion.

This clinic doesn’t have the greatest reviews for mental health, as someone that struggles with mental health I was very anxious I was going to have a poor experience but dr. Dr Kamal was very helpful tonight. He was very understanding and compassionate about my worries and concerns. he was very understanding of mental health and didn’t make me feel like a crazy person.
