Been to Smith's on couple of occasions ...went several months back and was greeted by a younger lady who was super informative and helpful. I went again based on her service, but noticed she was no longer there; staff seemed disinterested and owner was rude. The pharmacy has dirt on the shelves, expired pills and mostly lack of customer service. I'm not sure how this place is open!! Never going here again! Avoid at all cost, way better options out there.

Terriiiible service wow. The owner needs to hire new people ASAP. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s just been getting worse and worse. Ive recommenced this place to dozens of people but I’ll definitely be letting every one of those people know not to come here anymore! They’re very rude and the negative reviews are right. I decided to give them one more chance but they disappointed me again. Their hours are a joke the staff close early all the time and I’m not sure the owner is aware. I’m switching over to Noah’s! They’re so much nicer and even though they don’t carry all the products I want I’d rather go there and be treated well than go to Smiths ever again. Such a disappointment it used to be my go to pharmacy. Hopefully the owner sees this and brings some changes to the establishment! UPDATE: they replied to my review saying a manager will “reach out” to address my concern. That NEVER happened! Just another great example of how awful their staff is!

Very rude and dismissive staff. Like I was doing them a favour to walk in the store. Aggressively unhelpful and hence a waste of my time. I’ve been to similar stores downtown and they VALUE their customers by helping them chose products and recommend things—nothing like that here.

The female pharmacist I dealt with was incredibly rude, arrogant, did not follow the prescription request, or listen to me when I spoke to her in person either. Also, the supplements they sell in this pharmacy are very pricey. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

A real asset to our Toronto community. They are opened on Sundays and the pharmacist is very accommodating and kind. We live by High Park and switched from the Canadian Compound Pharmacy on Bloor to the Smith's Pharmacy in North York, due in part to the terrible service but mostly because of the lack of attention to detail from CCP pharmacist when handling your family's health care needs and well being. Even the extra commute is worth it. Bottom line is: if you want your prescription filled properly, kindly and at your convenience, Smith's Pharmacy is the place. CH

In the past I have hesitated to write a negative review for Smith's Pharmacy thinking that perhaps the staff may have had a bad day and this is why the customer service here is so awful. Today after my visit I realized this is the culture of this particular store. The staff are dismissive, rude and extremely unhappy. You would think that if you have prepaid and ordered an item ahead of time that is it impossible to be treated so terribly by another human being, sadly this is not the case here. I am always given a hard time while purchasing items here and leave the store feeling extremely sad with the interaction.

I’ve been purchasing compounded drugs from Smith’s for the last year and whilst I’ve had a few encounters with rude staff, I continued with them as overall the service wasn’t that bad and in particular I enjoyed the convenience of the delivery service. However, today I just had the worst encounter with a VERY rude pharmacist who wasn’t even prepared to listen and understand what I was explaining. I recently took out insurance and discovered through the insurance company that Smith’s has been wayyyyyy overcharging me for the meds. So of course I called Smith’s to understand and see what could be done as the insurance company had given some suggestions. But this pharmacist had no interest in hearing me and couldn’t care less that I would now no longer be purchasing drugs from Smith’s. And I’ve spent A LOT of money with this company. Thats their loss...... Clearly she doesn’t understand or care that it’s the customers paying her salary.

EXCELLENT compounding pharmacy! I have been using Smith's Pharmacy since 1989. The staff are ALWAYS friendly, VERY knowledgeable and go ABOVE and BEYOND to be helpful. They carry a wide selection of best naturopathic name brand supplements and they are quick to respond to orders and delivery is fast and efficient. They provide my clients and I quality service. This is a compound pharmacy, and this pharmacy is known for preparing doses that are not prepared by the pharmaceutical companies, a.k.a. Big Pharma. I have yet to have any issues with this pharmacy; they are not condescending when you speak with them, in fact quite the opposite. They will actually take the time to talk and explain to you any questions or issues you may have. Unlike most pharmacies where the pharmacist will just say what is given to them from Big Pharma. I did have some issues with the language problem is rather problematic, I hung up the phone not really sure if I accomplish what I set out to accomplish. But despite this, nothing negative happen other then I was unsure. Since the medication that I take probably enables me to continue as I was, it is imperative that not only I have the right amount prescribed, but also to have my prescription, which I have never been let down for the past year.

The staff are quick to ask if you need assistance. With Covid disruptions and some product delays, Smiths provides excellent back order service. Working with Peter also, makes the shopping experience; he is always helpful, willing and knowledgeable.

I'd have to agree with the reviewers who have mentioned unfriendly and dismissive staff. That's been my experience here as well. From the person who answered the phone, to the pharmacist, to the people at the cash. No one seems particularly interested in offering friendly service. I'm surprised by other comments regarding great staff, but I guess there are some employees who must be better than others. Interestingly, this pharmacist didn't even bother to give me any information about this medication when I picked it up or ask me if I knew how to take it etc. This is something that every pharmacy I've ever been to has done. If I didn't need a particular compounded medication, I would go elsewhere.
