I was just at the pharmacist picking up medicine. The assistant walked away in mid sentence when I asked her what she thought about selling all their homeopathic rubbish. Incredibly rude. Just walked away. Well I guess that #postmasterpharmacy in Oakville has now lost a client. EDIT: I'm back. The owner has since apologized, as, I am told, has the young lady herself, and she has been sanctioned; so I'll let bygones be bygones. How you handle a problem is very important, and the owner has, as far as I am concerned, handled this well. So - compliments for that, and score modified.

I love this pharmacy. They have taken good care of me for over 5 years. They go above and beyond (calling doctors for refills, reminding me if my prescriptions are due) and really care about their patients. They do compounds, which you can't get everywhere (mixing creams or drugs that are no longer manufactured). Everyone working there knows my first and last name! Paul and Shawn are awesome. I wish I knew the names of the other staff to mention them too.

I've been coming to this pharmacy for over a year now, and I have nothing but positive things to say. The pharmacy is clean, modern, and recently due to COVID, has all the necessary protective measures in place to keep both the pharmacy staff and patients safe. The unique compounding options available have changed my life in terms of pain management. FlexoSyn Plus is something I will continue to use for as long as they continue to make it. It's so nice to finally find something that makes a difference in my pain that isn't a pill. The pharmacy staff are all wonderful as well, especially Shawn Gill. I see him quite frequently when I come in to pick up my prescriptions, and he always asks how I'm doing and how school is going. He makes the effort to make a connection with his patients, which makes it worth driving out to Oakville from Hamilton to get my prescriptions. Highly recommend this pharmacy, especially to those who have tried lots of different pain management options with minimal success. They have amazing compounded pain creams that actually work!

My wife walked in not knowing anything about compression stockings except that she needed them for her third pregnancy. Paul at the oakville location went above and beyond to help her with the whole process from explaining different options, helping co-ordinate with insurance coverage and even spending time calling around to the various providers to make sure our specific needs were met. He took what could have been a confusing experience and really made it as easy as possible to get the best options.

Paul, Liza and Sarah stepped in to help me when no one else would! I had an emergency this afternoon. I split my time between my apartment in Scarborough and my girlfriend's place in Oakville. Due to poor planning, I had completely run out of my daily antidepressant. I thought it would be no big deal to get a week's worth from the pharmacist at the Big Red Drug Store, so I went there. "Sorry, we don't have any records." I was told. I've been on this medication for almost a decade and I've gotten it from this location before "Not in the last six months. That's as far as our records go back." They can't fill it. Pharmacy in Scarborough (part of the Big Red Drug Store chain) says "we'll give you an emergency supply, come in". I'm eighty kilometres away, more than an hour in traffic each way. Can you transfer the emergency supply to Oakville? "No, we can't do that." Okay, Oakville, what do I do? "There's a walk-in clinic, get a prescription from there." Seriously? All right.... Go to walk-in. Closing soon. Doctor's busy. Can't write script without seeing him. Come back tomorrow. Tomorrow, I'll be a quivering mess hiding under the blankets because I don't have my meds. That doesn't help me. Cue Paul. I'm not his patient,. I've never been to this pharmacy before. He doesn't know me, but he's been listening. He says, "Hey, give me the number for your pharmacy." Paul calls the Scarborough pharmacy, talks to the staff. Gets a copy of my medication history for this drug. Okays a week's worth. Stays late to bottle it up for me, bills my insurance, and I'm good. Liza and Sarah are assisting him, three dedicated professionals helping someone in need. I may never go back to the Big Red Drug Store. Paul and company went WAY out of their way to help a total stranger, with kindness, professionalism, and practicality. They've earned my business going forward. And restored some of my lost faith inhumanity! Thank you!

I was sent to Postmaster Pharmacy for a compounding topical pain cream med.for a possible fracture. I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff was, especially Paul, he was very kind and very informative. Helping me also with getting the proper fit for a wrist brace. Paul went above and beyond what he had to. Also Sally helped explain some how to use the prescription and even called the following day to ask if it was working and helping. I was also very impressed with all the natural remedies in the pharmacy, will definitely be back! thanks for such personal treatment

Great pharmacy, after getting a few of my meds here I realized the benefit of having a regular pharmacy. One of the head lady pharmacists here called to check up on me! *fall off my chair* That totally rocks! These guys take all your needs seriously, whether it's brand name only, chewable formulation, etc. The pharmacists here are also my holistically aware, to put you on the look out for side effects and making a long-term plan to recover to be off any unnecessary meds. Great pharmacy and great family practice Postmaster Medical next door too.

Poor customer service. No regard for patients and fail to understand patient needs. Gave the run around after being discharged from thr hospital after a csection. My husband picked up meds not being informee brand meds being substituted for generic. Also, they charged a dispensing fee of $12 for 10 pills that are available over the counter $8 for 30 pills and told my husband they have to dispense. Poor counselling from the pharmacy. Do not go here unless you want subpar service.

Our family doctor recommended this compounding pharmacy stating we would get an emergency cream for shingles which would help my 91 year old mother-in-law. She was very confident that Antonio, the compounding pharmacist, would not only produce a superior product, but also have it ready promptly. Not long after that Antonio called us for information about my mother-in-law asking key questions to better understand her situation. Again, not long after that the pharmacy called to let us know the prescription was ready for pick-up. All of this on the same day between seeing the doctor and picking up the cream. We arrived at the Pharmacy, our very first visit, and were served almost immediately even though the place was busy. They seem to specialize in all types of health needs. It appears we are not the only ones who discovered a great pharmacy. The attendant was super friendly and very thorough with explaining the prescription. We left feeling very impressed with the entire experience. We had used another compounding pharmacy in the past and waited a week for the prescription to be ready, yet this pharmacy can compound in one day. We had left a message for the pharmacist to call on another matter and he did so the next business day. By the way, the cream has made a difference in the level of pain that has been experienced by my mother-in-law. So happy our family doctor recommended this place, outstanding service and above and beyond what was expected.

This pharmacy was located close to home which resulted in me switching pharmacies. I am so grateful I did. They have been nothing but absolutely amazing with everything. They answer any questions I have, are always willing to be supportive, and always take the time to ensure I understand the medications I need. On more then one occasion, they have suggested and then provided a cream to help my neck when I have hurt it. This last occurrence, Paul called me to ensure I would have enough of the cream to help me and offered to deliver both the cream and a prescription I had on file, with no additional fees. This past weekend I called not once, but twice, to inquire about medication safety and had the pharmacist spend time explaining the medication risks as well as double checking using his "book". The switch to PostMaster was one of the best choices I made. And regardless of where I live, I will continue to utilize them as their customer service, and empathy/compassion, are truly one-of-a-kind!
