Professional clinic , knowledgeable doctors , they listen and care . My family and my self are patients here for few years . I don’t like to post reviews usually but I feel that some times you need to stand up and say some thing . I attended the clinic in best days and bad days too where the wait can be long , it’s though normal and expected at certain times of the day in every clinic I have ever been a patient of as doctors have to deal with various medical cases . What I need to say here no matter what is your medical issue whether big or small the doctors in this clinic always are very attentive , smiley , do more than excellent care , never let you down for sure . Never saw attitude , or bad behaviour neither from the staff or doctors No over booking as some one here suggested The truth is some patients know these doctors are really good so they try to take advantage of them by coming with complicated issues all the time . I don’t agree with some people attitude and comments here , using abusive language and far from truth criticism . We need to be fair , human and polite first in our comments . The idea of the reviews is to help people and NOT to be a place for us to through our anger and bad days at some one else . This clinic doctors and staff are one of the best in all area ( True care good medicine demonstrates here ) I need every one to know that

Beyond an amazing experience every time. Dr Dawood has been my family doctor for over a year now. With other clinics I didn’t find booking an appointment that easy and had to take time off from work. With Queen’s I usually call to book the appointment a day or two max before. The help desk are so friendly and always make sure to call me back if the doctor is busy. Barely there is any waiting time if you have an appointment which is very convenient if you have kids. I had an unfortunate infection and the dr helped my do all necessary tests within days and comforted me with the results as soon as they came. My toddler takes all her vaccinations there too and they are super sweet handling kids. Feeling blessed to know the clinic in such a critical time like COVID because the clinic is always clean and sanitized. Thanks for always being there for my family

Useless. Went there at 10:40am and was the only one there, waited there for half an hour before being called back, once I was in the waiting room I waited another 10 minutes. Finally saw the doctor at 11:40am. I needed a simple referral which was requested by the clinic I had an appointment at later in the week. The doctor refused to write one saying that what I needed done could be done at any medical clinic LOL, from experience NO it can't - I couldn't believe it when she said that. So needless to say she refused to write a simple referral because she wanted to do it herself even though I had already booked an appointment at my place of choosing. Next I asked for an orthotics prescription, which was no problem until I got to the front and the receptionist informed me it would be $20 fee - since when is there a fee for prescriptions? I've gotten this at other walk in clinics and there was no fee, so obviously I'll be heading back to that clinic from here on out. I had high hopes for this clinic based on the good reviews and the convenience of it being closeby. What a waste of my life. Follow up: Did end up going to another walk in clinic and getting what I needed for FREE. Also when I had my appointment with the Doctor I needed the referral for, I told him about this experience and he laughed and said there’s no way this procedure could’ve been successful in a regular walk in clinic, he said some doctors have huge egos and I couldn’t agree with him more. — Try listening to your patients next time, we may not be hotshot doctors like you but we know what’s best for our bodies given our circumstances.

The absolute WORST walk in clinic in Burlington! Do NOT go here even for the smallest reason! The female doctor is extremely rude unprofessional! Was rude from the minute she walked in the room because my son had his dinner because we had to rush to swimming after! Not ONCE did the receptionist tell me I could NOT bring food into the room! I am completely disgusted in the treatment I received. When I got upset with her she then began to tell me to not have an attitude and than walked out and said you can leave? Pathetic service and pathetic excuse for a doctor!!!! Update since I can’t reply! I should of read the reviews before ever stepping foot in that office because clearly it’s not just me who thinks your office is a joke and so is your staff! Not that I have to explain myself but I always make sure my child is clean and that is why I put him right up on the changeable PAPER so he could eat! Once again NOT ONCE did anyone tell me I could not have food in the room! If I was told prior it would not of been a problem! There were the smallest fingerprints on the doctors chair and my biggest issue was the disgusting look on her face! Poor poor customer service! This is the exact reason family doctors tell you to stay away from walk in clinics because they very rarely provide proper care!

Not professionals at all. My wife arrived 15 minutes before closed time and they refused to check my son because it was "already too late". Next time they should close the door, because if I see an empty clinic, yes there was no one there, somehow I expect to have 10 min with a doctor. Sadly, I haven't read the reviews before going there. Now I know that I won't go back to the clinic.

I need to send in this review while I'm still fuming. Early this afternoon I waited for what seemed like a couple of hours in the waiting room of Queen's Medical Centre on Appleby Line. During my wait I tried to remain patient and figured I'd be seen by the doctor sometime soon. There is a large sign in the front window that reads "Walk-In Clinic' so I assumed that's just what it was. After I checked in at the desk, nobody there told me of the wait that was in store. I took a seat and there were about 3 other ladies still waiting their turn. I did hear one of them complaining that she had already been there for quite a while. Eventually others arrived and I realized through overheard conversations that they had appointments already scheduled. You can imagine my surprise, followed by anger, when one of them was called in before me. Then, talking with some others, found out that they also had appointments and 3 of them had been scheduled for the exact same time. Needless to say, they weren't happy either. That's when a light bulb finally came on in my head and I realized that people were being herded into an office that is clearly taking advantage of what's become a profitable venture for them. Since I didn't see any sense of sticking around (I'd still be there), I approached the front desk and vented my woes and walked out. Nobody apologized or seemed like they cared. DON'T GO TO THIS MEDICAL OFFICE AS A WALK-IN. THEY AREN'T REALLY A WALK-IN CLINIC. THEY ARE A MONEY GRABBING MEDICAL PRACTICE TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE.

Went in during my lunch break for a quick consult. Was the first and only one in waiting room. Receptionist did not mention any waiting times to me. 20 minutes later there was about 8 people in waiting room. I waited 40 minutes, finally got up to ask how much longer. The receptionist Dominic didnt give me any answer, she didnt know. I said I was on lunch break and was leaving and she just said okay. No mention if I wanted to come another day, she didnt offer to find out how long the wait would be. I watched and listened to her interact with other patients, she def needs more experience. Will not be returning, def not a walk in kind of place. Everyone was waiting...the only person to go in was a guy that showed up 20 minutes after I did and he had an appointment. Hopefully they dont put it through my Ohip card as I did not get seen and the doc should not get to charge.

The receptionists and male doctor are extremely friendly and nice. The female doctor on the other hand is extremely unprofessional and rude. Always speaks down on me and makes me feel uncomfortable and upset. Left the clinic crying after meeting with her due to her ignorant comments and disrespectful tone. What a display of responses from the owner of this place. We all understand how a walk in clinic works. We understand there may be long wait times. Don’t patronize and talk down to patients. Not every single person who doesn’t like your clinic is a liar. Seriously they picked at someone's grammar in a review. Try reading that hack job of a response from them with their grammar. Do medical degrees not require you to spell and form a proper sentence? Just wanted to keep this at the top as a reminder to people.

The lovely pharmacist got a hold of the doctor and was kind enough to inform us that the doctor had elected, without notice, not to come in that day. Again, total waste of time. Dr. Mary Hana is the sweetest and most kind doctor I have ever been to! I have never experienced such an amazing family doctor, she cares so much and I honestly feel so looked after every time I visit! I appreciate her so much, I know how difficult it can be to find a doctor with human feelings and proper bedside manner. She goes above and beyond! I have also seen the male doctor at this clinic and he is excellent as well! The wait times have significantly decreased since they started at this clinic. I used to see the old doctors who worked here before they switched practices an id have to wait two hour with an appointment but now I don’t think I’ve ever sat in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes! Excellent!!! So happy I stayed a patient here

Very good and caring doctor, professional clinic. My Mom was visiting me about a month ago and she got extremely ill ,and we needed a doctor urgent ,She had no health card or insurance at all . She was worried as she doesn't want extra cost .We ran to this clinic , the doctor was really caring , treated us with care ,kindness, respect, examined my Mom from head to toe , and gave us spot diagnosis ,and recommended medicine. Mom was worried from the charges for no health card , though doctor insisted she needs treatment , and knowing that the treatment it self might cost us some Money and that was a concern . the doctor put my Mom's mind at ease ,explained to her with care , and love that treatment for her case is a must, She was really human . When we walked our side we knew at the reception that they decided to cancel the doctor fee as she doesn't want to cost us more money. I got back to thank the doctor, and she emphasized that I need to treat her , and said she can come back for follow up in two days without any charges as she just want to make sure my Mom is ok .Made Mom leave in tears .as we never saw such care . That was amazing Few days ago , I came back just to thank the doctor where I was told she is gone from this clinic. Such a loss for the whole area I want to find her as we decided to switch doctors to her to be under such care. Can't say enough but thanks from all of us

Went in to get my tb for work, which is a 2-step process. I spoke with the doctor and specifically paid the first time because I knew I wouldn't have cash the next time. When I went in for the 2nd part, after my appointment was finished I was about to leave when I was told I had to pay more money, which I didn't have because I already paid them. Their were additional fee's that they forgot to tell me about. They then refused to give me back my work medical paperwork until I paid the fee's they originally forgot about. So I then got to go on a hunt around the area for an ATM machine in the pouring rain & freezing cold. Never again will I go back, very disappointed in the service and lack of communication.

My doctor is the best . I have lots of complicated medical issues , but Dr. Kassem took care of all of them .i feel blessed to have her as my doctor , as I don’t have to worry about any thing .She listens ,look after me with care , and when necessary she send me to specialist accordingly . I don’t like people on this website speaking neg about my clinic and the doctors for a simple fact that it’s all not true ! Go to walkin clinic just in Appleby and upper middle and you would know the difference ,when you are shoveled through the door within 2 seconds . I’m leaving this review anonymous due to the fact that the clinic harasses patients about their reviews. (As you can clearly see below) Not long ago, I was experiencing chest pain, I came to the clinic to just make sure I was fine and they wouldn’t even take my health card. The receptionist quite LITERALLY shooed me out the door and told me to go to the hospital. While my family member was driving me BACK home because I was declined any sort of help. I called 911. The ER Doctor and both my paramedics were appalled that this happened and told me to find a different doctor ASAP. They told me it’s not right - as a doctor and clinic, they should have called the ambulance on my behalf and checked my Blood Pressure at the least. I will never be returning to Queens and suggest no one ever does if you want any sort of care. Currently on a waitlist for a better doctor. I cannot believe this clinic is still up and running.

it is very difficult to find a good doctor when you move. Had been using this office for about a year just because no other local doctors accept new patients. Worst experience with doctors so far at this clinic. Doctors do not listen and are not knowledgeable. The main agenda is to streamline the patients through and meet their targets sales for pharmaceuticals. PS: this office called me up after this review was posted and asked to come in to review my test results. After one hour wait I saw the doctor to be confronted about this review. Can it get more unethical than this??

Great doctors saved my husband’s life . My husband is a patient of this clinic for awhile now , and he used to neglect his health completely despite he has complicated medical issues but he wouldn’t listen or take care of him self at all till he walked one day in to this clinic ,told the doctor he was very tired, I thought I’m loosing him .she listened to him carefully , examined him as we never saw before , ordered blood work and tests asked to see him again . We got a call to come back to review results , she explained the results in details , advised him of possibility of certain disease and that we need to do further testing to confirm . My husband didn’t care at that time ,the doctor was very concerned then she did an amazing job convincing him that we need to rule out a serious issue could affect his health .he was very argumental with her but she was patient , Pleasent, knowledgeable , professional was able eventually to persuade him . We did the tests she requested and discovered a serious medical issue needed immediate intervention .my husband was referred promptly to specialist , treatment started and he is doing fine now . She kept close follow up on him during all that time as he didn’t have a family doctor , and she wasn’t his family doctor either but she showed extreme care as a professional physician . We are greateful that we walked in to this clinic .my husband now is a different man as this doctor took her time and educated him about the importance of his health and well-being and he became a patient of her after . I can see how lucky we are to be under this doctor / clinic care and that prompt me to disagree strongly with some comments made here where some one who seemed to have a bad attitude and irresponsible behaviour completely to accuse the doctors that they brought them back for tests just to make a visit ? If you go to another clinic you will know the difference .doctors won’t spend 2 minutes with you , no tests , no care and still bill the visit . Do you think this doctor who spend all that time and effort with her patient each visit is trying to make money ? We need to question our selves first about our own wording and behaviour . I strongly believe who ever made such comments is trying only to bad mouth the great doctor and clinic . I need also to make a clear statement about how pleasent , courteous , friendly this doctor and her staff . We feel fortunate to be under her care

We need more doctors like this . Only two visits with my child , and while examining my 7 years old son who had a cough. The female doctor put her hand on my child’s back and said he has scoliosis ! Our family doctor never noticed that . My child went for a surgery and he is recovering now . My self and my wife can’t say enough to express our feeling . I have never had a bad experience with Queens Medical Center . I have been a patient of theirs for the past 3-4 years. Pharmacy department is always friendly and very knowledgeable, receptionist is quick and Dr Hanna my new Dr is very responsive and always wants to help. I have never met a Dr so caring as Dr Hanna. Dr Kassam used to be my Dr however, she unfortunately moved. I was sad to see her leave because she was fantastic however Dr Hanna has been great as well. Queens medical is very responsive and everyone on their team makes an effort to help you. There has been changes with Covid and they have made the process easy and clear to follow. I would recommend Queens Medical to any of my friends or family looking for a good Dr! Positive experience

First I want to begin with how I do not agree with comments made here about Dr. Kassem not being a qualified doctor as I believe she is indeed qualified as well as an intelligent person. However other comments made here do ring true. Unfortunately her bedside manner can leave you in tears, as it did myself. The responses from the owner here are also despicable as they can only be categorized as hostile, something that should definitely not be coming from a medical professional let alone anyone trying to run a business. The fact that patients are being called in for follow-ups only to be reprimanded for their review here on Google is another cause for concern. You should not have to fear for whether your doctor will discuss your results with you or provide you with a metaphorical slap on the wrist. The wait time is long, with one incident where I had a person in front of me, who proceeded to get up and leave because of the wait time. I had an appointment and was taken in promptly but then did not have Kassem come into the actual room for some time. I then overheard her go into the room next door and speak with a patient who was clearly a friend and excitedly asking how she was and how was the baby, a conversation that then went on for some time. I will not be returning. Edit: The owner's also edited their response to my comment. As well they are using Google accounts to post reviews as well (refer to vocabulary and grammar, spacing etc. makes it very obvious). I cannot believe medical professionals respond in such a manner as telling patients "good do not come back" (scroll down, or maybe they will edit it out)...I really cannot believe it. On top of writing their own reviews for themselves this is not the manner of a medical professional. I hid my name because you respond in such a manner, a patient should not feel the need to do that. It says a lot. Refer to other walk-in reviews and how they, or if they even do, respond to Google reviews.

My Dad is a patient of Dr. Kassem , who took him 2 years ago as urgent to help us through crisis , when we lost Mom . I brought him only as a walk in first , I couldn’t believe how caring & passionate she was and still with him . She go faaar & beyond what you would expect as care . she took him on despite no spot available , but stated ( I couldn’t leave him with No doctor , he needs care ) my Dad now live upnorth where there is no doctors available . He come once every three months to visit me & see her . Despite of him been living far . Dr. Kassem’s care extends as faaar as he is ! He would get a call about his results always , If she raised a concern about seeing specialist regarding some thing , her staff would search for specialist in up north that can fit him in , and referral would be initiated immediately . I’m so happy we got such knowledgeable , nice , human doctor finally . Look at his smile NOW when he meet her . Amazing :)

I see Dr. Kassem who is excellent physician. Couldn’t believe it when I first met her ! From exceptional care , unparalleled thoroughness & knowledge , to an amazing bedside manner . I might wait a bit to see her depending on the time of the day , if it’s rush hours , after work or sooo , but that’s very understanding . Every one come in obviously at the same time . She deserve the wait for sure . I can see some Neg reviews here , and honestly I would like to comment as I attended my self one event in the clinic . I was setting in the waiting area , where one patient kept going back and forth to the reception pushing to be pumped ahead if every one else as she had a social event to attend . She was very rude with the staff . Then after walking in to the room . We all can hear her screaming at the doctor , and yelling inside ... we over heard the doctor trying to calm her down with no response . Few min later we saw this lady walking out saying big F... word and using abusive language at the doctor and reception . She was extremely scaaaaaaary !!!! You guys what do you expect ?? These doctors (husband and wife team) want only one thing and that is to get you back into the clinic as often as possible, sending one for constant tests and then having to come back to get the results, or........to get prescription refills, which I might add they will only give for 3 months, stating that it's not "them" who want to do this, but the law. This is not true. Dr. M. is never there, when the clinic first opened he was there almost every day from 10:30 a.m., now he is only there 7 hours a week. I had an apt. with his wife and had to wait an hour and a half to see her, which was totally unacceptable. Dr. M., kicked me out and refused to continue treating me because I called him out on his schedule and having issues with his wife's hour and a half wait time, just to get test results, because Dr. M is never there. It's all about getting you in as often as possible so he/she can bill Health Care.

The assistants are great, but the psychiatrist himself isn't. His name is Wassim Soliman. He doesn't seem happy with his job. Didn't make me feel comfortable nor welcomed around him. He was clearly bored and tired of listening. Makes one not want to seek for help after all. Resign if you're unhappy

Physicians was able to diagnose my issues while my family physician didn’t ! they are fantastic and knowledgeable , real humans that you are able to talk to .. deserve every minute you spend waiting for them . Great choice , highly recommend

A new Doctor has taken over and she’s Excellent! Dr. Hanna is so thorough, knowledgable and kind. She always makes time to see her patients and gets to the bottom of medical concerns!!! Imy is the pharmacist on site, and is efficient and pleasant. The wait time for prescriptions is minimal compared to Shopper’s Drug Mart. They also offer walk in appointments, which is awesome! Thankful for exceptional medical care during a doctor shortage!

My wife and I have been attending this clinic since 2016 and have for the most part found both doctors to be very good at the medical side of things, but they will not give you a repeat prescription which means another trip to see them for the same thing as before so they can bill ohip again. Upon being told that they were moving out of Burlington we supplied them with two memory sticks to get our medical history from them and were charged the outrageous price of $120. This to me is sheer greed and although I wasn't in full agreement with some other reviews that stated they were only after money I now tend to agree.We did not leave their practice but they left us so I am really mad that we had to pay that large amount for something that only takes a short time to perform.

Best experience ever ! I took my Mom to Queen's clinic , she has complicated medical issues , and using a lot of medications , and usually when I go with her to any walk in clinic we get a rough experience .. This time we went to Queen's walk in and family clinic , the doctor is sooo professional , listens well , addressed each symptoms , didn't rush us at all , we felt our mind is at ease for the first time ! Not only this the reception girls are welcoming , and patient especially with my Mom who has hearing difficulties . Honestly I was shocked ! As other clinics will treat you like a puppy dog and doctors rush you quickly through the door . Definitely I love this Queen's clinic ... I asked them to take us as patients as I never have such experience before ! Definitely coming back with the whole family , you guys are awesome ! Very positive experience by all means .

Worst doctor ever . She wrote 4 bottles of Antibiotics for my 12 years son for a cold he has plus three other drugs one for cough and two for nose . Wants to make sales through the pharmacy in the place. Also very rude to the point that she screams in the patients face . she did scream at me . I will never go back again nor my family . Bad service ever . first timer in MY LIFE to see such behavior from a doctor . Not sure if they even deserve one star .
