I don't know if these reviews are doing anything, but I just want to help folks (especially students). Seriously, choose a different practice. I came by today at 8:30 to get a refill on my medication before class started at 9. The place opens at 8:30, but by 8:37 they were yelling at the customers outside and refusing to let us in. One guy actually swore back at them because of the rude things they said to him. I was let in at 8:40, and ended up being late to my class. I don't know how to switch pharmacies, but if I could I would.

Nice pharmacy & nice stuff they speak lot of langues, English, Italian, Russian, Indian Benjapi, Arabic and Iranian which i found very helpful to people with different culture. i waited for less than 10 minutes to pick my new prescription. The Medical Building have a lot of family doctors and specialists Xray lab and life lab, physiotherapy and dentist, optometrist. they deserve 5 stars

Went to get my prescription and they said they didn't have it on file then I re-explained my story then they suddenly had it on file after having called before. After I was rudely told by the two female pharmacists to go talk to somebody else, I was greeted nicely by another pharmacist. Once I got home I wanted to double-check my pills to see if they messed up (which they have before) I noticed they gave me a half broken pill. Complete rude scatterbrained so-called "pharmacists". I can see why their ratings are low.

Just a fair warning from someone whose meds are a controlled substance (I'm on vyvanse for my ADHD), they will not allow you to get your meds on time. They'll make a bunch of errors, lose info from your file, and leave you without meds for days because they'll insist you picked your meds up later than you actually did, and you can't exactly prove that because their system is the one that messed up. They'll also hold you there for upwards of 30 minutes while they attempt to fix whatever error they've made, and whisper about you as if you aren't there. I understand the laws around controlled substance medications, but the treatment I received was a little dehumanising and overall just anxiety inducing. I bet when I next come in on the day they specify, they'll make up some other excuse and delay it even further. I felt like they were constantly giving me these suspicious looks towards the end of my wait there, and I lost an hour that I could have used to finish some coursework. Fellow ADHD folks - take your business elsewhere.

Service is horrible with the new management/pharmacists. So many issues with blister packs, either the wrong pill is put in, or they’re missing pills. They’ve closed the cash registers 30 minutes early before and I haven’t been allowed to pay for/pick up my medications.

They tell you it'll be 5-10 minutes but you'll be waiting half an hour. If their records say you should have run out of an essential medication 2 days before you got it refilled you will face an inquisition (because, you know, nobody ever forgets to take their meds) and they NEVER actually get the refill requests submitted by their own online and phone systems, so if you try that you'll still be sitting there half an hour to wait for them. Besides which, their fax machine failed to receive prescriptions sent by multiple doctors but their machine "worked fine" so "it must have been on the doctor's end." There's a Shoppers Drug Mart in the mall 5 mins down the street. Go there instead. Avoid this place. Edit: I find it suspicious that there are a bunch of 5 star reviews from accounts with no previous reviews on the same day recently. Just pointing that out.

There is an ongoing issue with electronics issue happening for the last 6-months. Consistently took 3+ visits to get refill on what is an over-the-counter medication in the U.S. Staff is OK but getting refills is consistently a pain.

CIMS Pharmacy offers an incredible service to its patients that cannot be found elsewhere. They have the capacity of a large chain like Shoppers but still give their patients the service of a small independent pharmacy. They truly care for their patients’ wellbeing and make a strong effort to build long lasting relationships. By far the best pharmacy in Oakville!

This place has completely changed. It has been a long time since I took my medication from this pharmacy but I never faced such bad behavior before. On Tuesday, I wanted to ask the assistant to fax my prescription to doctor but there was short bald man that was very rude and mean, he told me to go call your doctor to send us new prescription, I said i already talk with doctor’s office they told me to ask pharmacy to fax, he ignored me and walk away. on Friday my doctor send new prescription. When I went to pick my medication I faced that stupid guy again, he asked me “are you here for the vaccine”. I said no I am here to pick up my meds, he was very impolite and said to wait. it took 10 minutes and he ignored me. After a while the lady who helped the other 2 customers too came and apologized and asked if she could help me. I was very mad and upset but the way she served me was much better than him, I really feel sorry that kind of uneducated people make the place miserable.

Mostly when I pick up my prescription, the manager is busy with his phone and doesn't care about the customers. all the staff are new and rude, they don't have any idea what they're doing except a couple they're nice and I appreciate them. I'm thankful they're working in this situation with very poor protection. Hope that the management provide more safety and limit of customer in the store.

1/2 a star. I moved to Oakville 3 ish years ago & am on a lot of medication. I thought it was convenient that the pharmacy was so close. I have blister packs & was continuously needing to check them to make sure my meds were all in there. The pharmacy team was extremely rude & were questioning me, saying that I was wrong & it was my mistake. I left the pharmacy shortly after because I got incredibly sick because there were meds missing & I didn't notice until four days in that there are two missing. Most of the staff have absolutely no customer service. None. They are extremely rude, the management team for the actual store makes me feel extremely uncomfortable & angry because of how terrible she is to her staff & her customers. She is mean, she is nasty & i try to avoid the entire pharmacy if I can. Do not go here if you don't have to. It is a terrible experience everytime I have to go in because I have no other choice. So rude.

I don't want to stop getting my medications from here, but recent events have made me reconsider. I have been getting my medication here for the past 20 years. There appears to be a shortage every time I fill my prescription, leading me to make two trips. This seems to be a more recent issue and a reason I want to transfer my file.

I don't normally post reviews because they don't generally get noticed, but I just wanted to point out that some individuals help it grow in popularity while others hurt it. One day, I brought my prescription to this pharmacy and a man took my insurance card and attempted to claim it; it took him a long time, and he eventually told me it was expired. I phoned the insurance company, who informed me the contrary, showing that this guy lied to me and didn't know how to file a claim. I truly pity this pharmacy for allowing him to work there.

Customer over 40 years they've made so many mistakes on my blister packs and I've been so ill! Hospitalized in fact! My doctors even contacted them about errors! They said sorry! Mondu made this pharmacy make customers come back! Even living in Toronto I kept my doctors and this pharmacy! I've moved to Shoppers Drug Mart in Bronte! New pharmacist and awesome accurate service! I have no idea how they are in business at CIMS! Read your blister packs and check the pills to ensure they are the right ones! Just because there's a label doesn't mean they put the pill in blister!

I went to this pharmacy there was senior took me prescription 7 mins he was asking me to spell me name after that the senior man start talking in different language with one of the stuff he was talking very loud and forget about my prescription. The previous owner/management was fantastic, caring and pleasant. New owners are obnoxious and rude to not only myself but my adult children picking up their presicriptions. Can't wait to move prescriptions to different pharmacy at end of month.

With the new management I've waited over 20 minutes for prescription and had arguments with the new pharmacist over important prescription medications that he was preventing me from filling. Never go there. Worst customer service ever. Sale prices are not what they seemed. I was told that "Even better if you don't buy from here." I had the worst experience ever. The attendant was reluctant to correct an error they have made on a price and helped everyone before me, even grabbing articles from other customer's hand to the register. Then was RUDE and kept being disrespectful and offensive.

Where to start... live in area mail goes to that postal outlet...many in building complex have the same complaints...hours wrong online, ( with all the complaints about time you would think they would have changed them by now) , many mornings they are late to open , ATM out of order for the longest time, staff speak in different language sometimes loudly while ignoring customers, pharmacist not interested in getting off his chair to answer over the counter questions. Not a welcoming place no wonder my doc on the 3rd floor tells me to take my rx elsewhere!
